Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
My unit is across the road from Curtin shops. There is a 24 hour gym, Coles, petrol station, pharmacy, doctors, dentists, bottle-shop, a couple of coffee shops and take-away shops as well as an organic fruit and veg shop. The unit has recently had both bedrooms and the bathroom completely renovated and made to look more modern and spacious. The room for rent is very big with high ceiling and a lot of natural light. It currently fits a queen size bed and a chest of drawers for clothes. The lounge-room and kitchen are both very spacious and open (Please note I will be renovating in August so the current pictures will be replaced once the renovations are complete). The unit has a bus stop across the road which takes you into directly Barton or the city. I currently also have a small puppy dog
I'm easy going, easy to get along with. I'm clean, courteous, and always pull my weight. Down to party every now and again, but mostly I'm quiet and enjoy movies, tv, and games - of both the video and board varieties. I'll have a boardgames night any night of the week! Lived in Canberra since I was young. I'm a nurse, working at The Canberra Hospital. Looking for a single room, in the central south of Canberra, flexible with arrangements, furnishings, and start date. Looking forward to meeting you! :)
I graduated from ANU last December with a Bachelor in International Security Studies and I've recently been accepted to study my Masters at ANU. Here is a few things about me: * Respectful of others and their space * I'm a clean and tidy person * Completely renovated my own house and sold it a few years back - so I'm also very handy :) * Enjoy downhill mountain biking, Formula One, red wine, coffee and the outdoors * I enjoy live music and seeing bands/artists when I can * Enjoy good conversations with others, meeting new people and learning about their personal story in life * I have a very special place in my heart for dogs and all animals
I'm a professional in their late twenties looking for a long term house. I come with a very friendly little, well-trained cat (who loves other animals and people) and I like to clean daily! I love cooking, gardening and cleaning. My ideal house would be one where we occasionally watch TV or have outings/dinners together but can also respect each other's space. I'm tidy but hopefully not too fussy. I'm only changing houses because my other housemates are changing countries! I come with recommendations 😊
Hey there, my name's Ethan and i'm looking for a new bunch of legends to live with! I work full time as a carpenter, but like to spend my free time taking trips down to the coast, riding the mountain bike or enjoying the company of my friends. I've been living in different share house configurations for the last few years, but as I'm sure you know, things change and people move on. I'm very tidy, respectable, and punctual with rent/bill payments. I can provide roomie references from any of my previous share houses if needed!
Just started looking :) Moving up from Victoria so new to the area. Looking for sharehouses or housemates that are social but respectful of each others space- shared feed and drinks together be great, but respect each others space sort of vibe? Haha I've lived in share houses since uni- respectful and clean country kid at heart, into sport and exercise but still enjoy a parmi at the pub and a beer or wine Will be working in Phillip so probably looking for somewhere on the South side of the lake but open to suggestions :)
My name is Matt. I'm a full-time professional moving from Melbourne to Canberra and looking to find a place in an existing share-house around early August. I'm sharehouse trained - clean, tidy, respectful, and appreciate my quiet time, but also don't mind a chat or a shared activity. I have my own bedroom furniture. My preference is for off-street parking if possible and my own bathroom, but I’m flexible.
Creative professional and coach recently moved to Canberra and looking for a share house with character (people and house). Working full time on a government contract and studying design in my spare time. Lots of experience living in share houses and contributing to a positive, respectful and attractive space. Enjoy a glass of wine and chat after work or on weekends. Like to cook and share meals when the timing works. A large room with a nice outlook would suit me best to fit a queen sized bed, dresser and desk, or a small room and access to study/studio space. I have a beautiful 8 seater dining table and chairs if there is room, plus a coffee machine and some great kitchenware. If you have dogs count me out because I have allergies. Cats, chooks, rabbits a bonus.
Working professional (PwC Consulting) moving down to Canberra (from Sydney) permanently to work on some consulting gigs with the government. I'm neat and tidy (will do assigned chores, clean up after myself), looking for a share house that likes to have fun whether that be staying home on netflix, going out for drinks, any outdoor/physical activities, love my sport (I hear lots of people do hiking and camping etc down in Canberra would love to get in on that), I love food always happy to grab a bite, go to gym regularly. Literally will know no one in Canberra at first so will be up for trying anything new, easy to get along with, respectful of personal space. I will have a car with me, that I'm more than happy to share, if I'm free will give lifts too
I am an accountant moving to Canberra for a six month contract and looking for a place to call home during that time. I was born in South Africa and moved to Perth about 13 years ago where I have been living since arriving in Australia. I enjoy golf, fishing and cooking (especially bbq).
