Moving to Canberra for work, APS. Looking for a place in a larger house preferably where more than 2 people are not sharing a bathroom. I'm a neat, pretty social, like having mates over occasionally. If I'm going to drink I don't have 1 glass of wine. I've been going to the gym for a while now so would like a place that's close to an anytime fitness or has a nearby park for a good run. Like to keep things clean with financials. Rent on time, bills on time. Essentially we will get along great if you're not wacky.
I'm a part-time bookseller, currently looking for full-time work. I'm social, enjoy meeting new people, and am happy to join in with group activities. I can bring my own furniture, and don't need a furnished room. I can provide a television and video game consoles, if that interests anyone. I also have a small board game collection, and make excellent pizza. The moving date is not set in stone, I am happy to arrange to move in earlier or later.
I'm friendly, easy-going, conscientious, neat and tidy and pretty quiet. I work full time as a vet nurse, a job I absolutely love. In my spare time you'll find me relaxing, watching a movie or TV show, going to markets, out for dinner or walking my dog. I'm in no way a party animal, though I'm not opposed to a glass of wine or two. I like to keep a clean house and nothing annoys me more than people who can't clean up after themselves. I really have no huge preference to suburbs in Canberra. So yes, I have a dog. I also have two cats. Tommy is a 6yr old DSH who does nothing but sleep. Maxie is about 1.5yrs, also DSH. She's very sweet and a bit of a homebody. Roy is a small poodle mix, 7kg, about 1yr old, quite timid when he first meets people but a real character once he's happy and comfortable. The cats are outside during the day, inside at night and, being a vet nurse, I'm lucky enough to be able to take Roy with me to work every day! Both cats are litter trained and Roy is house trained. All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Can provide referees.
Student from Melbourne coming to Canberra for 2-3 months to complete an internship. Looking for affordable accommodation for my time here. I am relaxed, clean and tidy, easy to get along with and respectful. Looking for similarly relaxed people/students.
The massive room (3.4m x 4.8m) we have available is North-facing and has a private balcony overlooking a lovely green space, it is unfurnished at $190/week. Rent is paid 4-weekly in advance. Bond is 4 weeks rent. The house has two bathrooms and three toilets. There is a large kitchen with a big 90cm gas stove + oven + dishwasher, separate dinning room and bar, a very spacious lounge that opens up to a sunny verandah and a big separate laundry. We also have a big double garage and plenty of parking areas. Toasty gas ducted heating keeps us warm throughout the house :). Our house is situated across the road from the Curtin shops. All you need to do is cross the street for your supplies – Coles, organic grocer, bookshop, pharmacy, medical clinic, bottle shops, cafes, bakeries and more. Our beautiful garden is bountiful in harvest – you can stuff yourself silly with delicious figs, olives, lemons, pears and grapes!
I'm a mid-20s professional looking for a friendly, respectful and hopefully hygienic sharehouse. I like to do my own thing most of the time but I also like the odd shared drink after a long day. I love movie nights (Game of Thrones!), video gaming, spending time with friends and drinking way too much tea. Ideally I'd like a medium to large room to fit my Queen bed, desk and bookshelf. I work in Belconnen but I'm mostly interested in finding the right people and a decent room, so anywhere in Canberra is fine by me. Totally happy to start up a new sharehouse too. Message me if you want to meet up over coffee or have a room available!
Hi Everyone! Looking in these suburbs and surrounding! My name is Zac and I'm a 24 year old who's moving from Melbourne to Canberra to start his career in Psychology. I'm an easy-going, out-going and fun person to be around, I am respectful of others but like the idea of moving not only into a house, but a home. I'm reliable and honest and have a vast interest in many different activities. My move date is 18/08 so I know it's pretty soon but even something short term would be great!! Looking forward to meeting like-minded out-going people and starting a new life in Canberra!!
I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time. Remi is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd who loves people and other dogs. He sleeps outside but is very affectionate and will want to hangout with his roomates.
Pretty chill guy who enjoys a few drinks every now and again. I respect personal space but am always up for a chat about anything and everything. Will be bringing my one-man band (Casio keyboard, acoustic guitar). Feel free to use (just don't break anything...). I play games with mates on Sunday nights (and occasionally Tuesdays) and we're always looking to expand the crew. 9am-6pm work hours Mon-Fri, give or take. Can cook quite well and happy to share a meal. Not a huge clean freak; as long as you clean up your own mess, I'll be happy. I don't mind animals but don't have a pet of my own. The less hair the better, though. Looking to share with one or two others, ages 19-28 or thereabouts, either working full/part time or studying. No couples.
Hey there potential roomies! My names Ellie I'm a fun loving nurse working full time at canberra hospital. I am clean and tidy and have expierienced sharehousing situations before. I do have a boyfriend who will sleep over some nights. I tend to stick to my private areas and will be working early and afternoon shifts. If i sound ideal to you please shoot me a message. I really need accomodation asap as my previous agreement fell through.
I'm a 23-year-old soon to be public health grad from Melbourne who will be working full-time from March 2018. I'm looking for housemates/share-house close to Forrest so I can cycle/walk/take public transport. Peter is 24, an audiologist who will be working on Northbourne Avenue. You can expect us to keep our area tidy and clean, contribute to our fair share of the housework and pay rent and bills on time. I love going to musicals, concerts, visiting art galleries and planning future holiday trips. I also enjoy visiting the cinema, exploring the bush/going on road trips whenever I can and spending quality time with friends and family. I plan to visit home often on weekends.
I am an easy going man and have no limiting time for talking, walking or any other activities as a roommate. I am studying and working, so I try to be on-time person and being polite with all people. I have 1.5 year of working experience and having communication with several various people with different behaviors, So I know how to treat with most peoples in a respectful manner. Also I am a bit playing guitar and am fan of music. Swimming is my favorite sport and I am an expert in it.

Hey! So I'm a student studying at CMA in mitchell, next year I'll be a qualified beauty therapist I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out (although I haven't been out for nearly 2 years). I'd be down with hanging around & having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too. His names Xavier and his a shoodle :) I can't afford much due to being a student, once I'm a qualified therapist I hope to do mobile/at home treatments. I would prefer living with another individual or alone. This is due to me being extremely shy and anxious. I would like to open up and meet new people though too. I'm recently broken up from my partner of 3 years, still currently living with him. We are still extremely close, so there is chance every so often of him staying the night.
Hey guys, I'm Bridget, a friendly and pretty chill 23yr old, originally from country NSW. I moved to Canberra for Uni but after graduating last year I'm working full time south side, so I'm interested in most suburbs in Canberra's south. I'm a very social person but understand the need for space especially in a share house. I love music, going on a good Netflix binge, forcing myself to go to the gym, and having a cheeky wine. Looking for about a 6 month lease but open to flexibility if need be. Feel free to give me a buzz if you have anything you want to ask!
I grew up in a small town called Cowra, NSW, about 2 and a half hours from Canberra. I am a very easy guy to get along with, I am social, but at times I like my own privacy. I enjoy a beer or two on the weekend, and I love to maintain a healthy lifestlye
You can walk to Woden in 7-10 minutes for bus interchange, shopping plaza or government offices. Spacious living and leisure areas downstairs with roomy light-filled bedrooms upstairs. Huge garage and double carport for workspace or car storage. Communal kitchen, dining and lounge areas to relax and watch DVD movies. Unlimited internet and caring flatmates make for a home away from home for men coming to Canberra for work or study.
Close to City, Manuka, Kingston and Woden. Deakin shops are within walking distance. If you enjoy walking, we are at the base of Red Hill which is covered in walking trails, and not far from the lake and bicycle paths. Bus Routes run from Deakin shops,
I am in my 50's, single, kids are all grown and flown. I am Canberra born and bred, single, kids have all grown up. I can cook, and being a home renovator I'm pretty good at fixing things I own a 5 year old Jack Russell who is extremely people/kid friendly. She needs to have some secure outside space. Hey there, I am Thomas. I grew up in Paris and studied Earth Sciences in both Paris and Zürich (five months). For the next three to four years I will be studying at the Research School of Earth Sciences of the ANU as a PhD candidate. I am definitely easy-going, love listening to music, enjoy meeting up and partying with friends as well as watching movies or playing games. Not the best cook, expect me to try, but success is not always there ! Most importantly I would say, always paying attention to others and ready to give a hand ! I am up for a Skype if you consider it helpful, just send me a message.
Hey there, I'm originally from Singapore and have been living in Sydney for the past 4 years. I will be relocating to ACT for work in 2 weeks, and I work in events/ hospitality so am fairly sociable, but at the same time I really enjoy my alone time. I've never been to Canberra before so would need some help with settling in, because of the short lead time I am pretty anxious! Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I am a quiet, clean friendly girl who likes company and a chat but also really likes coming home at the end of day and spending time alone. I enjoy playing a bit of sport, relaxing with a wine and trashy tv and going out with friends. Whilst I enjoy being social but tend not to have friends over too regularly. I am clean and respectful, open and happy to chat about any concerns or requirements that you may have in regards to being housemates.
I'm a friendly, easygoing, clean and tidy, social housemate with lots of share housing experience. I want to live in a house where housemates enjoy the occasional dinner and drinks together, and are able to have friends over occasionally, but who are also independent and respectful of each other's space. I work in the APS, studied law and arts at uni, and love hiking, yoga, cooking, reading and squash. And more! I like to be busy, to travel and meet new people, and to explore new interests. I'm looking to meet like-minded people to share a house or apartment with, in a location cycling-distance to Barton, and am flexible in my moving dates. Ideally the available room would be large, and preferably with its own bathroom (but not necessarily needed).
Need a place to live for my internship from 14th July - 16th of October. I already have a houseshare but I keep looking for other options from 14th August - 16th Oct! The dream location will be Yarralumla (close to the Embassy). I love food: both cooking and eating, I am super sporty: must run or go to gym or any other workout almost every day. I like hanging around, I am a sociable person but not a must that the roommate shares the same. Respect to each other and loyalty are the most important features! I'm pretty outgoing, like get to known new things. I also fancy late night evenings with sunset and early calls.
Moved to Canberra from Sydney for public service work. I am independent, tidy, and considerate of others, having lived in shared accommodation my whole adult life. I like having a good convo or sharing a laugh or listening to music. I also look to keep fit, and enjoy being a foodie. I don't usually cook my own food though. If you have a place in a house, or want to team up to get one to share, let me know. Looking to move by the 30th of August. Happy to meet up.
