I'm a clean, friendly and relaxed person who is always up for a chat, but also respects other people's space. I work full-time as a Communications and Design Officer in a secure position so I'm out most days. At nights I generally go bouldering or just like to relax, chill out and have down time. If you feel I would suit your place please contact me to arrange an inspection time.
The ticked boxes above aren't definitive On offer is sharing a new house. On the ground level progressing from the front door - living rm opens to garden, study area, laundry with easy access to a drying area, storage cupboards, powder rm. stair to 1st level, then a combined kitchen, pantry room, dining and sitting area. This space opens to a roofed terrace and private garden. 1st level has 3 bed rm's. the 2 bed rm's for rent will share a good size bathroom. They have built in robes (2.1 and 2.4 m) and north windows. All windows and external doors are double glazed with insulating coverings. Each room has its own air conditioning control with many program options. Excellent cross ventilation for summer. A weekly general areas cleaner. The house being new its very fast to deal with your personal space. I try to be a gardener of herbs (I can mostly grow those) and tomatoes (I need a farmers knowledge? rather than my google knowledge on how to grow tomatoes etc) The house is beside a park with a cycle path connected to Canberra's network. Its close to buses north/south, some buses have bike racks to carry it close to your destination. Local Curtin shopping a few minutes walk.... I have only gone to a cafe Red Brick and a local area produce store. There is a Coles, hotel (pub), pharmacy, AusPost/news agency and a gym. The area centre Woden has more services. From here Canberra Hospital, Deakin Offices/Medical, Barton Offices, Parliament Triangle, Lake, Downtown Canberra, Airport, nature etc are minutes away. In Deakin there are several gyms and most likely more at Woden. If you have any questions, please ask.
Hey there! I am an experienced professional, working full-time, recently moved to Canberra and looking for a room to rent. I like to keep things and surroundings clean and tidy, expect and respect your privacy and boundaries. I am well-organized, non-smoker and love meeting and making new friends across cultures. Fun fact – I have excellent cooking skills! Looking for 6-month stay with potential for extending. Seeking soon as possible and open to team-ups. Let’s catch up!
I'm a uni student and a barman so I'm seldom home. I play rugby and if I'm not working or studying I'm usually training. when I am home and not doing anything I usually read or watch Netflix. I'm a pre good cook and am happy to get myself a mini fridge for my pre cooking. I come with my kitchen knives and pans. I just need a roof, a bed, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to eat. I almost never party, and when I do see my friends it's usually to play board games or dungeons and dragons.
I am a friendly flatmate to live with and am clean and tidy. I am a quiet person to live with and will be at work during the week and would be meeting up with friends on the weekends. I am learning to play the guitar and enjoy cycling and a bit of photography.
Hey, my name is Lachlan and I am a 23-year-old Canberran, born and bred. I work full-time as a journalist, and I am looking for a new place to live after the owners of the house I was living in wanted to move back in. Fun facts about me: 1. I have a lot of siblings, like a lot, so I know how to live with people and to make sure I keep the house nice and tidy. 2. I am a bit of a sports nut, so when I am not writing about sport, I tend to be either on the sideline or on the couch or in the pub watching some form of sport. 3. I am a people-person, so I always down for a red wine and chat. Looking forward to hearing from you. Ta
Hey! I'm a happy, relaxed person who enjoys video games, TV shows, and loves getting outside. I am in Defence so naturally I am clean, tidy and have lived with others. I am social and enjoy making friends, so I would prefer to be friends with my roommate(s) though I definitely value my down time. I'm down for a household meal once a week or so to catch up (e.g. Sunday morning pancakes gatherings), or a games night. I work Monday - Friday and in the afternoons I enjoy listening to music, cruising the interwebs and am more than happy for a chat. Most Saturday mornings I like to go to the markets and usually cook up food for the week. I also enjoy hikes, grabbing coffee or finding random activities around Canberra. Most nights I like to stay home and read or jump on Netflix. I do occasionally like exploring the Canberra nightlife but am back by a decent hour and I don't go out on school nights. My ideal household is a laid-back environment with everyone understanding their role in the house and acting proactively. Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Both Male and Female roommates are welcomed. Look forward to meeting you!
Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Stijn Steenbergen. I am a 21-year-old Dutch undergraduate business student. I would describe my personality as introverted, driven and goal orientated. Furthermore, I am also someone who likes to keep things clean and organized. At the end of August, I will be starting an internship in Canberra. This internship will last around 5 months, ending in January. Now I am looking for housing during this 4-5-month period.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
29 year old professional, fresh off the plane from Perth. Looking for a place reasonably central to the city or inner south. I have an ancient cat who keeps to herself and won’t bother anyone. Sociable, but too old to hit the clubs every night!
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)

I have been living in share houses for the past 9 years so am pretty used to communal living. I have lived in a number of places across the east coast as well as overseas. Having lived in so many places I have pretty flexible and adaptable. Having lived in lots of sharehouses I am used the respecting people's space and keeping the noise down as well cleaning up after myself etc I am currently living in a sharehouse in Sydney, but have been offered a new role in Canberra. I am pretty open to any location in Canberra. I love indoor plants and have quite a collection. I would love to live in a place with pets. I also enjoy gardening and I am trying to improve my outdoor green thumb :) Prior to moving to Sydney I used to make terrariums.
The house The house is modern and very spacious with four bedrooms, a study, two big living areas and a great sized kitchen (with gas stove). The house is furnished (although there's space for additions) and has ducted heating or reverse cycle air conditioning in all areas, including the advertised room. I am working full time as an sparky apprentice, I moved to ACT in march from the NT. very laid back and easy to get along with, I would like to say I’m a bit more mature than my age might suggest. Big rugby, league and cricket fan. hoping to move out of my crazy aunts place soon.
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working in the public service. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself - I also have no issue with cleaning a bathroom or mowing the lawn on a 40 degree day! A pet friendly house is preferred - my dad likes to visit once every couple months and brings with him a lab and a swiss Shepherd (pictured) - Both are house trained, non destructive and very loving! I'm well beyond my days as a partier but still enjoy a social beer or a bbq with housemates. I'm pretty quiet during the week and out and about or riding my motorcycle on weekends. As I own a bike storage or garage space would be great! Look forward to hearing from you!
Living in Canberra working full time in Manuka I'm looking for flatmates to share in a nice, friendly house that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise, I am very easy going, clean and am used to living with others. Message me if you're interested!

My name is Shannen, I’m 21 originally from Townsville in QLD currently living in Darwin working. I will be relocating with my partner and our little Shar Pei puppy who is named Daisy. I will be moving around July to commence work. My partner is 22 and will be studying. We are both very tidy, enjoy meeting new people and learning about their cultures and backgrounds. We are young and up for anything really. We are both very chilled and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with our fur baby. We are also interested in team ups and will consider starting a new share house.
Young professional just returned to Australia from Japan and moving to Canberra to start a new job! I'm originally a Queenslander, from Townsville but I'm leaving all that behind for beautiful Canberra! I'm easy going, fun to be around, sociable, and flexible. My partying days are a bit behind me but I love to chat and a sneaky beverage wouldn't be terrible. I'm very clean and will be pretty busy with the new job, but I'd love to make friends and get out and meet new people. I'm a decent cook and I'm happy to muck in and share meals. I enjoy yoga, netflix, gaming, reading, and I'm very into music. I love heavy metal and play both the violin and the shamisen but I promise I won't play them in the house.
