My name is Mel, I’m 28 and looking to move to Canberra in January to start a new job in February. I’m easy-going, social and neat (but not pedantic), enjoy catching up over a wine or two but also respect people's space and like doing my own thing. I enjoy good food, like being active and try to get outside as much as possible. I'll be working full-time and sometimes shift work, and will probably spend a fair few weekends away. Let me know if you have any questions for me or if you think I'd be a good fit for your house!
I have a very balanced lifestyle. Between working full-time in a hotel and hanging out/walking my dog, I also love to cook, watch TV series and going out with friends. I am able to give my housemate as much space as they like but also enjoy a chat or maybe a beer together once every week or 2. I am extremely clean and tidy and although I like to hang out with friends I tend to do that outside of the home, and keep the home I am living in quite quiet and comfortable. I own a lot of my own furniture already and am happy to share what I already own. My dog is beautiful to live with, I take him out for walks everyday as to keep him happy and calm, but he does love a cuddle. Currently sleeps inside but I can arrange a kennel for him outside if needed.
We are both ANU medical students with busy lives, who have been housemates for two years. We are respectful, quiet, communicative and great at sharing duties around the house. We'll stay out of your hair, but love the occasional housemate dinner. We have lots of experience living with people from all walks of life, and get along well with just about anyone. When we're not studying, Will likes acting and Phoebe enjoys a round of golf.
Working as a hairdresser full time. Love meeting people and hanging out but know about that personal space lovin. Looking to be in a pretty chilled out environment.

We are a young couple, one of us is a student/part time worker and the other is in the APS. We are looking to move out of our parents' houses. We tend to keep to ourselves as we work, both day and night shifts however we are social on the rare occasion our schedules line up. We would prefer somewhere with our own kitchen/kitchenette as we are vegan and nut free. We both work and go to school in the city so, we are looking for something around that area (basically not Tuggeranong or Belconnen). Thanks for reading!
Beat the infamous New Year's Grad Share Accommodate Rush! Freshly renovated brick house in a quiet tree-lined street 5 minute walk to Curtin shops, 5 minute drive to Woden and 10 minute drive to Civic. Freshly painted throughout, new bathroom with carpet just cleaned. Good sized kitchen. Large sunny yard for pets -- or chillaxing! Polished floorboards. A double bedroom with a nice outlook over the garden is available. It is proximate to the bathroom and toilet, and has just been painted and carpets cleaned. The room doesn't have built-in wardrobes so is able to accommodate any bedroom furniture. I don’t have wifi but am happy for you to connect it. The property is ideally located only 5 minutes walk from Curtin shops -- on the 'good' Yarralumla side. The street is quiet and safe but offstreet parking is available. The rent of $150pw is paid fortnightly upfront plus equally shared bills. Only two weeks bond is fine.
Moving from Wollongong to Canberra to work fulltime at Canberra Hospital. I am friendly, clean, sociable and up for cooking dinner for everyone. I enjoy going out with mates and also quiet nights in, hiking and skiing. Always up for a movie and tv show binge :) I will be available to move in from April 2018.
We have 2 rooms available - one standard size downstairs room and one very large room with a shared balcony upstairs. The standard room is north facing and beautifully sunlit, it is unfurnished at $145/week. The massive room we have available is east-facing and has a balcony overlooking our lovely garden, it is unfurnished at $190/week. Rent is paid 4-weekly in advance. Bond is 4 weeks rent. The house has two bathrooms and three toilets. There is a large kitchen with a big 90cm gas stove + oven + dishwasher, separate dinning room and bar, a very spacious lounge that opens up to a sunny verandah and a big separate laundry. We also have a big double garage and plenty of parking areas. Toasty gas ducted heating keeps us warm throughout the house :). We have loads of space, so can easily accommodate if you have furniture - e.g. couches, fridge, etc. We also have a storage space if you need. Our house is situated across the road from the Curtin shops. All you need to do is cross the street for your supplies – Coles, organic grocer, bookshop, pharmacy, medical clinic, bottle shops, cafes, bakeries and more. Our beautiful garden is bountiful in harvest – you can stuff yourself silly with delicious figs, olives, lemons, pears and grapes!
The house has lots of space, modern kitchen, heating & air conditioning, big backyard, plenty of storage and parking space and is situated in a lovely neighbourhood not far from Curtin Shops and close to Westfield Woden. We split all bills evenly (electricity, gas, water usage & internet). The house is also home to a beautiful, gentle, 11yo Golden Retriever. She is an absolute pleasure and loves pats, walks and food. If you dont like dogs then this probably isnt the place for you. If you do like dogs then please come share the pats workload. Move in & pay rent from December 1st is ideal but there is some flexibility for the right person.
I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start work as a grad in the public service, looking for somewhere clean and relatively close to work. I mostly just read and watch movies at home, so I'll generally keep to myself, but do also enjoy a chat/drink (and not averse to a good party either if that's your thing). I'm a pretty tidy person, and a non-smoker.
Hi there thanks for checking my profile, I just moved to Canberra from sunny Brisbane. I am very easygoing and tidy guy. I am pretty normal and easily get along with most normal people. Lived in shared accommodation for a number of years and still in touch with most of my previous flatmates. I love to have a chat with my flatmates and the occasional drink as well as hangout once in a while. I am a software professional and I am working for a national office of a non profit org. Looking for a place to move into with friendly and responsible flatmates ideally a bit close to the city(no particular suburb). I am fairly active and and keep myself busy most evenings either going to the gym or having dinner with friends couple of nights(although I do not know many people in Canberra yet) and I love Latin dancing. I have been doing that for years and end up going to some of those events few nights a week. I try to play a few sports but but almost bad at all of them except in some rare occasions :-) (still play for fun)! When I am home I love to watch movies, I sometimes binge tv watch shows on Netflix too, cook some nights, relax and have a conversation. I might be doing some work some nights at the moment after coming home and could be working from home as well once in a while. I like an occasional drink once in a while over a conversation and I am not a party animal but like partying once in a while. I would also be away one or two weekends in a month going to Sydney to meet friends or attending dance events. So more space for you on some weekends :-) Please message me if you think I am someone who you would like to live with and have a comfortable room to share :-) We can have a chat and go from there!
Hi there, My name is Michelle, I am 24 years old, and I work as a nurse at The Canberra Hospital. I am friendly, considerate, neat, and a fairly quiet, reserved sort of person, who will always make it a priority to pay rent and utilities on time. I am not into loud partying or things like that, but do enjoy the occasional drink with friends. I have a 10-year-old small/medium dog named Roxy, who is the most perfect creature! She doesn’t shed, rarely barks, absolutely doesn’t bite, and I do have a rental reference specifically for her. I am quite flexible on the length of lease. Please let me know if you’d like to see a reference for either Roxy or myself. Thanks for your time!
Hi! My name's Islay, and my partner's name is Jacob. We're looking for a 6 month to 12 month (or more) place that is within around 15mins drive to the city (if possible)! We're laid-back, chill people who are looking forward to a fresh living space. A little about us: We both study at ANU - I study science (biochemistry and cell/molecular biology) and Jacob studies engineering (renewable energy and theoretical physics [he's definitely the smart one!]), which is what takes up most of our time during the week. On weekends, we both work our respective jobs. We're a busy couple, but in our down time we like to cook together, take walks and watch movies (usually sci-fi). Please let us know if we sound like the kind of people you'd like to share with. We're always up for a chat :)
Hi, I'm Claire, easy going, friendly, reliable and dynamic. I graduated from Sydney uni, now full time working in Woden and looking for a room in south Canberra. Keeping tidy and clean for the place, I'm quiet but always happy to chat and social with friends. I enjoy reading, kendo, cooking, and all other adventures. Moving date is flexible before late October.
Easy going, social, shared before, studying full time. Like people, pet friendly. I'm starting a masters at ANU Jan 22 and won't be arriving in Canberra until Jan 20.
We both are in our mid to late 20's, love fitness, also foodies, love a good glass of wine. We love travelling away when we can, Loz is a Nurse/Midwife and L is a Personal Trainer, we are so easy going, clean and would to team up with someone else to rent a spot for the next 12 months.
Hi, I’m looking to relocate to ACT in 2018. I will be working as a nurse at Canberra Hospital, and, therefore, will be doing shift work. Currently working part-time in my hometown one hour away, but looking to relocate prior to commencing full-time work in February. I will be respectful of others privacy and property, and would appreciate the same in return. I’m an easy going, clean and quiet person. I would enjoy having some meals together with a flat mate, and generally living with someone I can have a chat with. Also willing to live on my own in a granny flat or 1 bedroom unit or studio.
Room is available from the 7th January 2018. Looking for a boarder, ideally suit people doing short term internships, uni exchange or looking for short term accommodation. Full board including breakfast and evening meals is available if required. In a central location and quiet neighbourhood, the house is within walking distance of Hughes and Woden shops, as well as transport to city centre and ANU. Close to Canberra Hospital.
This is a brand new apartment development in Phillip. It is a very central location with Westfield Woden Shopping Centre in walking distance and Tuggeranong and the City just a short drive. The rent includes unlimited NBN internet, a secure underground car park and access to the complexes pool, spa, gym and bbq facilities. The bedroom has a full built in robe and gets plenty of morning sunlight. The bathroom will essentially be all yours except for the occasional guest. I would prefer non smokers and no pets please.
Hi All, I am moving to Canberra from Brisbane in January 2018 to work as a full time teacher. My partner will be working on the Army base and will be living on base for 12 months. I am looking for a modern apartment or townhouse with space to park my car. Furnished or unfurnished - does not bother me (as long as I can bring my bed), I am happy to purchase the essentials. I will be spending most of my spare time playing sport. As I won't know anyone in Canberra I would love to live with someone who would like to hang out for dinners, drinks, shopping etc. I am very neat, today and love cooking dinners. I like to keep bathrooms immaculate and have a strong dislike for old bathrooms with shower curtains!
Hi, My name is Nicollette, I am an easy going 21-year-old female who will be working full time as a registered nurse and looking for a place to stay (All female) for roughly one year. I am clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I’m always up for a chat, dinner or drinks, not a big party person either and respectful of others personal space. I will also be bringing a small budgie-sized bird with me who won’t be any trouble :) I am looking to move in early February so please send me a message if interested.
Hi I am a recent graduate now working full time looking for a room in a sharehouse. I am clean, social and friendly. I love cooking and meeting new people. I am also a sporting person, I play ultimate frisbee competitively and love exploring the outdoors.
Hi there! We have a large master bedroom with ensuite available for rent in new (and secured) Lyons Apartments for $270 p/w (including water). The room is available 15 December 2017 and comes with a secured basement car spot and storage locker. The complex was built in 2015 (I think!). The apartment is on the third (and top) floor of the complex. It has a spacious kitchen and loads of storage - more than an entire floor to ceiling linen cupboard per housemate. The complex has an outdoor pool and a tonne of visitor parking. Both the bedroom and living areas have high ceilings and down-lights. It is: - less than five minutes walk to Woden government departments - around 8 minutes walk to Woden Westfield. - around 2 minutes walk to the bus stop and - a 15min bus to the city. It has been a beautiful place to live and I'm very sad to leave it. I hope you enjoy making it your home!

Hi I'm David and I'm 24. Originally from Southern Sydney, now in Canberra at UC doing Law. I enjoy lots of different hobbies, I cook, keep active and enjoy a laugh. Looking for somewhere where I can get my study done and chill out.
I'm a 27 year old public servant, currently on leave to complete a Master of Social Work but will be returning to full-time hours in January. I have a small dog (Mr Miyagi - a toy japanese spitz) and I am an occasional wildlife carer of pouched joeys. When I'm not taking my doggie for a walk, you'll find me either at the gym; watching Game of Thrones/Netflix; doing a touch of gardening, or baking cupcakes. I would love to share with someone who I could share the occasional movie with, and ideally become good friends. I am reasonably open to location given the right flatmate, but would prefer the south side.
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Perth late January to begin working in the public service. I'm looking for a furnished room and I don't mind paying extra for my own bathroom. I will be bringing my car, so a car space or easy parking will be needed. I love to travel, go out to eat and sleep. I can be quite the chatterbox, but also do keep to myself and like my downtime (naps). I'm clean, respectful and excited to see what's around the Canberra area, would love if weekend adventuring out and about was a thing! I'm just hoping to see what's out there at the moment leading up to my move :)
Hi, I am looking at moving to Canberra around mid to late January to start a full time Nursing postition at the Canberra Hospital. I am a fun, outgoing kind of person who is respectful of others around me and there belongings. I’m a quite kind of person who loves watching tv, catching up on all the sports and don’t mind a beer and a bet here and there. I’m pretty open to who I live with although would prefer medical students or those of the same work profession
Hey, everyone. My name is Victor. Coming from Brazil and Venezuela, I am looking for a room to finish my studies and settle down in this great country. I speak English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, and am great at housekeeping and cooking. Pretty quiet, neat, and helpful, I get along well with men and women alike and love to talk. More than happy to chat!
Hi there! I've been in Canberra for just under a year now and I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm social, but like to have a bit of me time also. I'm always happy to share a bottle of wine and am always up for a chat and small Canberra adventures. I'm originally from Sydney so I am still back and forth a little. I love pets (especially dogs) but don't discriminate between any animals, as long as they like a good cuddle. I'm clean, I'm nice and am always up for some good banter.
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working fulltime. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. I have a 1 year old swiss shepherd that I would like to bring with me too, shes house trained and very loving. I spend most of my free time watching a movie, reading a book, or out riding my dirtbike.
Clean & tidy person. Friendly, mature person. Loves travelling & scuba diving. Happy to have a chat or remain quiet. Have a friendly dog who doesn't make a sound at nite. Must find a place as soon as possible.
