I'm a friendly, open person with a Netflix habit I'm hoping to kick. I've lived out of home for over ten years, and my housemate etiquette is pretty well refined - I keep common areas tidy, pay rent and bills on time and am both easy-going and upfront about any issues that pop up. I grew up in Brisbane and have lived in the NT and NSW in recent years. My background is in mechanical engineering but I took last year off to study fine furniture making in NSW, and I'm now considering further study in design at ANU. I enjoy netball and crossfit for exercise, and you'll tend to find me making/creating or reading in my spare time. I'm looking to move to Canberra in early May and plan to make it home for the next 2-3 years.
I am a 37 year old professional. I am neat, tidy and peaceful. I am used to living with housemates and being flexible and accommodating. I am happy to provide references of past landlords.
I am a lawyer employed by the government. Single, non-smoker, quiet (but very happy to socialise with a glass of Shiraz too! Soooo.... I'm not a wall flower he-he...), very considerate, clean & tidy. I'm happy to help out and contribute to the household re: cleaning, gardening etc. Relocating from Brisbane this week, so ideally, I am after a furnished place for the moment, as I start on 10th April 2017. Sir Winston is my 7 year old VERY well trained 4kg Maltese Terrier and we come as the 'package'. So, animal friendly people are for 'us'! Please call immediately if you are the right "fit" :D We are really easy to get along with and LOW maintenance (a true bonus!)
Hi, I'm a young professional female, seeking a new place to call home. I have a busy job and ideally, am looking for a quiet, spacious and newish accommodation in or around Canberra. My home is always clean and tidy and thus I'm keen to find house mates who appreciate that too. Happy to chat more, if you're interested. Regards, Rasa
Full time Communications/IT/Security guy, and part time long distance uni student, working from home as an advance staff member for my company, before a new office is organised. I'm quiet and independent, but more than happy to socialise when housemates want to. Open minded and accepting of all walks of life. If there's animals, especially a dog or two, I'm a very happy camper. I've lived in 3 share houses in Perth, since 2010, with the same group of people. They were complete strangers to begin with, but have since become very close friends, so I know the ropes of living with other people. Very much a neat and tidy person, especially in shared spaces - no point in creating hassles when it's so easy to keep things clean. Couldn't really care less about smoking (i.e I don't smoke, but don't care if others do), same goes for partying, unless there's a complete consensus with all other housemates. I'm good with a pair of gloves, a spade and watering can. Same goes for power tools, and generally fix most things myself, when the need arises. More than happy to allow the professionals/landlords to do this instead though. If you've got issues with a computers, or even basic motoring/bike stuff, I'm pretty good with that stuff too. Basically a jack of many trades and willing to use these skills. During down time, I love a good bourbon/cider/beer and BBQ, pretty good at marinating a bunch of different types of meat too. Throw some good 90's music, or anything that's been played on Triple J for the last 20 years, and I'm pretty happy. Back in WA, I loved throwing myself and my mountain bike down a trail. I enjoy going to the gym, I'm no crazy junky, but I do enjoy keeping myself fit. I own an X-Trail, that doesn't exactly go overly fast, but get's me out and about into bush land, where camping is very much desired. Drop us a bell, and let me know what's going :)
I am a public servant and go away most weekends to the coast. I am a clean and tidy person and am very easy to get along with. I like cooking and am willing to chip in with the chores. I am also very happy to chat, socialise and relax with a glass of wine after dinner.

We love to keep our spaces clean and if you choose to team up with us, you will be coming back to a clean and fresh common space everyday. Basic hygiene will be well taken care of. You might even be in for home cooked food (baked, grilled and steamed) and the occasional pan-fried. Socially, we can be both self-contained and sociable, depending on your preference. I am into social sector and will be actively volunteering in Canberra. David has a background in writing, IT and policy and will be reentering the Australia workforce.
Hi, I am 37 years old, Training & Development Specialist. I am respectful of personal space, clean and organised. I love to have meaningful conversations, reading, learning new things, practicing Yoga and exploring nature. Looking for friendly and responsible housemates. Prefer a furnished room with own bathroom in a furnished house/flat and access to gas stove, washing machine, fridge and wifi internet.
I am a 22 year old who works full-time in the health field. I am clean and tidy as well as respectful for communal spaces. I am reliable and happy to pull my weight in relation to household chores. I am quite sociable and happy to have a glass of wine and a chat after work. I am also respectful of personal space. I would prefer a room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I currently have a lot of my own furniture from a previous sharehouse and would love to bring these along with me. I would also be happy to start a new sharehouse/ be interested in a team up I would prefer close to The Canberra Hospital. I have no pets myself but I am an animal lover so it wouldn't bother me if the household had pets.
I am an American student coming to Canberra for a summer internship. I'm a pretty easy going dude. I am a pretty active person, I play rugby in the states and will probably be looking to hike, hit the gym, explore the country, and check out Aussie netflix in my free time. I'm a fairly social person; equal parts down to grab a drink or just chill, but also respectful of your space when needed. I'm excited to meet some new people and make new friends, let's make this a summer to remember!

My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. **Three month short term room** I am renting out my room as I'm completing a three month placement in rural NSW. Large, lovely house in south Canberra sharing with three other housemates (2 females and 1 male). The house has great views and a massive backyard as well as backing onto Red Hill reserve. Close to the local shops, Curtin Coles, TCH and Westfield Woden. All living areas are currently furnished however there is room for some additional furniture. The room itself is a great size and comes furnished (bed, desk, shelves) or unfurnished as you require. Great size built-in-robes. You will share the main bathroom with two other housemates. We would like to fill the room ASAP.
I have a fully furnished room with a TV in modern renovated clean and tidy house with a big deck out the back and private yard for relaxing. I have plenty of parking space. I have two very friendly Burmese cats who are like dogs and love attention, they live inside and outside. So if you dont like cats probably not a good place to live. ;-)
Easy going 20 year old female looking to move back into town as parents bought rurally and commute is killing my car as well as social life. I have a beautiful female puppy who is full of life and cuddles. Very tidy, can cook and am happy to do lots of cleaning on my days off :) I am looking for more permanent work in my field but am currently working pretty much full time in retail. Would also be looking to have my partner move in when his lease ends in end of May if it was comfortable for those sharing the house with me but it is not a requirement if you're not comfortable.
I am clean, respectable, sociable, friendly, can't dance to save my life and I like watching Netflix. I enjoy a quiet drink after work and relaxing. I like to cook too! I work full-time in aged care in the Tuggeranong valley. I know the definition of quiet and I am a clean person. I am happy to chip in help for communal areas.
Chinese Arts student here. Looking for likeminded people to live with. I'm a music and cat person (no problem with dogs or other mammals at all though). Currently studying full time and like vegetarian cooking or walking when come back from uni. I enjoy friendly conversations though not tend to talk a lot. Real introverted and semi-autistic are the words.
