Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm moving to Canberra around mid January. I will be working full-time at DHS. I'm looking for an accommodation for at least 6 months to 1 year+. I'm neat and respect personal spaces. I cook nearly everyday, workout often and enjoy making cocktails on the weekends. P.S. I prefer private bathroom, no smoking indoor.
Hi I'm looking to share share short term from Jan 6 to March 31 with a possible extension to June and hopefully, beyond. I'm an APS worker and I've been spending my weekends chillin' and checking out Canberra's art scene. I like it here! There's so much on! The basic stuff: My budget is 250-300per week ex-bill's. I'm happy to share an apartment with one person or a house with two. Please only message me if your listing is within the suburbs I've specified, Cheers. Other good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly spring weather has been a surprise! I will happily have a preemptive chat with you about heating and elect bills in case I'm around long enough to need it next year. One other thing: if you happen to be offering a) town a house b) a ground floor unit b) anywhere that's pet friendly and you've always dreamt of sharing your pad a handsome house panther...I know a guy. Cheers, Rose
The location is great, with easy access to central hubs in Canberra, and our own local Coles. Ample parking in the front of the house. A lot of comfortable common areas to spend time in, and a large bright backyard with outdoor dining areas. Laundry includes washing machine and drier, as well as a dishwasher in the kitchen. We split household items between us and we each contribute $15 to a fortnightly cleaner to ensure everything is well-maintained without issues.
Hey 😊 I'm Chris and I'm 26 and work full-time in finance. I'm easy going and outgoing, pretty clean and handy around the house. Some things I love include: coffee, wine, movies, the beach, hiking, sailing, reading, hanging with mates, cooking & eating food - just to name a few.
A beautiful light-filled home, complete with central heating for winter and pool for summer! Located in a quiet neighbourhood with views over Mt Ainslie and Red Hill. Our home is modern, spacious and fully furnished. Gardener included. It's a 10 minute drive to Civic and Kingston, 5 minute walk to Curtin Coles and great coffee at Red Brick. Bus stop just around the corner. Located in a good spot for bike riding too, with paths that connect to the lake and Woden. The bedroom available is unfurnished, has built-in wardrobes and a large window that looks onto the garden and gets all the afternoon sunshine. There is a separate study room that is also yours, with plenty of storage space and a window that faces the backyard and pool. The move-in date is flexible between 5th Jan - 25th Jan 2019. The new 12 month lease commences 25th Jan.
I will be moving from Wollongong to CBR to study a master of science communication outreach at ANU in 2019 and am looking for a place near the university to reside next year. Beside study and part-time work commitments I enjoy being outside and staying physically active.
I am looking to move to Canberra from NSW Central Coast. I have recently been employed by the National Zoo and Aquarium. I'm tidy and often happy to cook for myself or others. I am independent at times while also enjoying the company of others at times. I am looking for a room, ideally with a separate bathroom but not essential. Parking would be ideal.
Looking for small, simple accommodation or a share house preferably with students. Preferably with good public transport. I'm currently an undergrad student at ANU going in to second year in Visual Art and Science.

Howdy future roommate(s) :-). It looks like i'm yet another graduate moving to Canberra in Jan/Feb for work lol. There are so many of us. I was originally looking to rent something for myself... but so expensive right!!! So i'm moving up from Melbourne and hoping to find some awesome, like minding housemate to either move in with or get together and rent a new place with. So a little about me... I'm 31 and starting a Grad position with Department of Defence in early February. I studied International Relations in Melbourne, but did business and science previously as well. I love the outdoors and often go hiking and get to the snow as often as I can. Good thing i'm moving to Canberra right. I'm pretty active, like to keep fit, but otherwise spend my time outside of work catching up with friends for dinner/drinks, reading, cooking, playing a bit of guitar and finding spontaneous adventures to go on. And I love dogs... so if you have any... points to you haha. I've been living with housemates for the past 3 years so i'm well house trained. I'm super chill at home and more than happy to share a wine and cook a yummy dinner with my housemates, or of course, give people their space and alone time when needed :-). What i'm looking for... Looking for somewhere with a bit of character and something that has a homely feel to it. Hoping to find some roommates that I can be friends with and share the same interests as me. I'm not fussy with age or gender. I have an apartment full of furniture in Melbourne that I can either bring with me or sell and start fresh. Hope to find some peeps soon and start organised life's next adventure :-)
Okay so a bit about myself, I have lived in share housing for almost 3 years now, so I definitely know the drill. I’m 19 years old, I work as a dental assistant in Manuka. For fun I like to hang out with friends, eating, movies, drinks all that kinda stuff! I do keep to myself quite a bit when it comes to share houses, just because I’m normally so tired from long hours. So you’ll normally find that I like to be in my room chilling out watching Netflix. I guess what I’m really looking for in a home is just a clean environment and house mates that are okay with me being antisocial sometimes or hiding away watching Netflix haha. Lauren x
Hello! So I'm moving to Canberra to start a full time job with an animal welfare charity. Initially for six months but all going well the move will become permanent. I'm pretty chilled out but like a few drinks at the weekend. Weekday evenings I prefer to exercise, cook and netflix. My main interests are horse riding, skiing, camping, hiking, camping and off roading. I'm originally from London but moving from Sydney. As I have family in Sydney I will likely be travelling back there some weekends. I'm looking for a sharehouse with outgoing, clean, likeminded people! I have a car so street parking as a minimum would be great. Open to anywhere with pets but sadly cannot live with cats due to allergies. LGBTQI+ friendly.
The house is a typical Canberra brick house. It has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite + main bathroom). You would be sharing the main bathroom with 2 others. The room for rent is really spacious, with a really big closet. The house has ducted heating, is fully furnished (apart from the bedroom) and comes with all the usual bells and whistles - washer, dryer etc. It has a garage for extra storage and a big back yard for activities. Location wise, it is walking distance to Curtin shops, and close to Woden Town Centre.
I have been in Canberra for almost 3 years now after moving from Brisbane for a graduate role as an Electrical / ICT Engineer. I have been working overseas for 6 months and displaced for most of 2018 and am looking for a place to live again. I have previously lived in an apartment in Kingston/Griffith with a housemate and would like to move back to the inner-south. I am in my mid-twenties, friendly, practical, very clean, like to cook and easy to live with. Flexible and happy to chill out and have a chat or do our own thing. I play soccer and cycle to stay active and generally get out on the weekends rather than always staying at home.
I am mature and am very adaptable. I am clean and tidy. I enjoy socialising but respect boundaries. I am quite active and enjoy the outdoors. I am currently living interstate and will not be in Canberra until mid January.
Hey! I'm 23, and work full time for a consulting firm. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. In me, you will find a very kind flat mate who doesn't mind sharing all the good food that I can cook ;) I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I don't drink or smoke. I am not a "party" person so do not worry about noise with me in the house.
