Hi future housemates! I will soon be moving to Hobart from Sydney (arriving 2nd November) and looking for a room in a sharehouse. I am in the process of buying land and building a house which will be done late 2019 so looking to stay for a year. I don't know many people in Hobart so hoping to find a place with friendly people in their 20s/30s with similar interests that I can spend time with socially. I love a good movie night or board game night, always keen for a wine, and love road trips and live music. However I am also an occasionally antisocial being and will often disappear to read or listen to music in my room. I currently live in a share house and have for many years. I am very respectful, clean and a giant organisational nerd so will always pay rent and bills on time. I will be working in Cambridge but not super fussy about location. But proximity to work or good cafes etc would be great! I have sold most of my stuff to move down but I can contribute Stan and Netflix logins to the household. I will also most likely buy a Nespresso machine if there is not already one in the house. I absolutely love dogs and cats and most other pets. I'll be down in Hobart 23rd-25th October so would love to come check out some rooms then. I'll be moving down about a week after this.
Engineering student from Sydney, moving to Hobart for the summer to work full time. Looking forward to meeting new people, exploring a new place and a whole bunch of new experiences. I'm outgoing and friendly and would like to live with someone similar. I like to live in a relatively clean house and enjoy cooking also. I also love the outdoors, so am looking forward to exploring all the beautiful Tasmanian natural landscapes.

Hi all, I've recently moved back to Tassie from the Sunshine Coast and am looking to either find existing share accommodation or team up with someone and find an area that suits us both. Im clean and tidy, like to eat healthy and keep reasonably fit. I have full time work. Enjoy a few beers on the weekend.
Hi, I have decided to move back to Hobart to be closer to my mother. Also I have just started a job with a loan brokeage firm. A bit about myself I'm laid back and easy, not fussed by very much. I am far from a party animal. Although, I confess I am a bit of a neat freak. In my spare time, I read a lot or go on random trips or go to other people's place to catch up over a cuppa. Ideally, I am looking for a room in a place which is not a party house and near a bus stop, because I do not have a car at the moment and work in Central Hobart.
I am Full time working apprentice painter. I love music, gym, camping, interior Design, fashion and the list goes on! I am look for somewhere with a comfy and friendly environment
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
I don't have much experience living in a shared experience but I am quiet, neat and tidy, love a good meal and relaxing. I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. I'm adventurous and will try anything once. I'm Tasmanian through and through, working full time in Heritage Tourism. I am looking to move closer to the two locations I manage. In my spare time I like to play video games, listen to music, cook/bake and relax with a movie or two. My rental history is unfortunately very brief as I have spent the last 6 years assisting with the care of my mother but I have always been proud of the spaces that I live in and enjoy keeping them clean and tidy.
Peaceful, friendly with a good sense of humour. I am living in Hobart to complete my Masters in Psychology at UTAS so I am looking for somewhere relaxed and conducive to study. I am enrolled full time so at this stage I am not looking to gain employment while in Hobart though may consider it in time. I have been living in Kingston since I moved here in February but now need to move on from my current residence as the home owner is moving overseas.

It has big windows, a fire place & mantle to adorn all your trinkets with. You will be sharing with myself (Lucy , aged 31) my ridiculously happy and all round bloody legend roomie Ryan (22) and my dog Delilah. You must be able to adult on a pretty high level ...... skills should hopefully include : cleaning up after yourself , being happy, turning the hotplate off after use, the ability to have a laugh, a love for doggos, paying bills on time , respect for other housemates & shared house belongings. Skills should not include : being lazy , being a dick , leaving things dirty, on or unlocked , being a bigot , not being compassionate towards animals and holding house parties. The house is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with lots of street parking available. Location is great as quiet streets into Town and round the other corner from North Hobart with Moonah and Glenorchy shopping centres nearby. The home is North facing with lots of natural light and great warmth. Best for people with their own car, but public transport is an 8min walk away with buses to town every 30min
This is a lovely, newly fully renovated home close to both the Main Road and Augusta Road for buses, cafes, shops, supermarkets, chemists et al. It's close to everything essential, superb inside and the garden is very low maintenance too. This home is a peaceful retreat from the city, and although it's not a party house it's not a mausoleum either. I try to keep a warm, open, inclusive home wherever I am, with good hearted humour, and some music as well as quiet time and respect for others space. I prefer to keep shared areas pretty neat and tidy but I'm not OCD about it. The place is currently unfurnished so we'd need to sort out some shared furniture, fridge/washing machine, and some sundries. I have some furniture, and kitchen basics [microwave, kettle, sandwich press, pots/plates/cutlery etc] but more would be useful for a second person living here. You can have internet connected if you wish; I haven't yet though for other reasons. You'd be sharing with only one other person. Me. It's a kindness-based Vegan home characterised by respect and consideration for others, warmth and friendliness, and good natured humour. So if you're Vegan or getting there, it'll be a great start =) Respect and consideration for others is essential, and being open and communicating about any issues or concerns is a must. Having some sense of humour might help. No-smoking home, inside or out. You'd need to pass the real estate approval process and be added to the 12month lease. Also, I'm likely to setup a small-ish Buddhist altar in a corner of the living room sometime, just so you know. You'd need to be okay with that in the event I do so. The property is described as "Beautifully Renovated Character Home, Great Location. This lovely character home in popular New Town has undergone a full renovation, with quality fittings and fixtures throughout. Situated in a great location with mountain views, walking distance to schools, shops, transport, parks and an easy commute to the CBD. From the moment you enter you will appreciate the attention to detail and quality workmanship that has gone into making this such a desirable home. Accommodation comprises of two good sized bedrooms, both have built-ins. Open plan living with efficient Daikin heat pump, kitchen is a chef's delight with under bench oven, ceramic hotplates, dishwasher, plenty of cupboards and even has a USB charging port! Spacious bathroom features a luxurious deep bath, separate shower, toilet and vanity, laundry facilities can also be found here. Storage and linen cupboards are situated in an area that could be utilised as a study nook or utility room, sliding glass doors lead out to the very easy to maintain garden. Added features of this fantastic home are a remote controlled electric gate, off street parking, double glazed windows throughout, lots of power points, TV outlets."
Hey! I am currently living in Kingston and working part time, I'm only new to Hobart and have been staying with friends, I am looking at staying somewhere for around 6 weeks while I organise getting a place of my own! I'm a very tidy person and keep to myself most of the time, I love to have a laugh and always find the positives in situations!
I have got a job Hobart as a geotechnical engineer, so I am relocating from Melbourne. I have been sharing places for a while and I am really easy going and relaxed. Also I am doing my masters so I will probably be studying here and there, always happy to socialize over dinner or a drink. Finally I got a kitten (ragdoll) 6 months old, he is well trained and super placid so that would not be an issue. Happy to have a chat and see how it goes.
Work for myself as a plumber, also studying for my pilots license. Sports usually take up my remaining free time. Pretty out going, I don't really spend much time at home... Which I guess is a good thing for you? Tidy and independent... I am an amateur chef, but I do make this pretty bad ass taco/burger/burrito thing.
I'm an easy going, kind professional woman with a lovely dog! We are looking for a lovely, calm environment to live in with like minded people. I am honest, hardworking and reliable. I pay my bills on time and would like to live in a neat home with nice flatmates. I work full time and enjoy exercising, reading, cooking and seeing my friends. I am looking for a nice place to call home, not too far from Hobart area. Thankyou
