Hello! My name is Shan and I am originally from Vancouver, Canada. I'm an accountant and I'm in Melbourne on a 2 year work visa with my accounting firm located in the CBD. I'm looking for a place I can call home while I am here! Currently looking for something short term (around 3 months) with ability to extend if we get along! I just landed last week so I want some flexibility in lease period as I get to know the city better. My work hours will be around 8:30 am - 5pm with some longer hours when needed. I'm trustworthy, quiet and like to keep a clean place. I like to cook, travel, watch some TV and spend my weekends relaxing, not a partier by any means. Looking to get more active in the gym and explore the city. Would like a flatmate that wants clear communication, our own personal space and open to sharing dinner/drinks now and then.
Hi there! I'm 21 and currently working full-time in admin, but also do some creative freelance work on the side! :D (My length of stay/move-in date/suburb is flexible!) I'm a very relaxed and open-minded person, and I get along with many types of people. I've got plenty of sharehousing experience, and you can always rely on me to be clean, respectful and pay rent on time (I used to rent for $300 a week!) I like having a warm home atmosphere where everyone feels relaxed and is happy to socialize but also respects each other's privacy and need for alone time- having housemates you feel comfortable around and can get along with makes sharing a space together perfect. (Oh and i'm not a neat freak but I definitely need folks who can keep the place clean,- which I make a point to do as well) My hobbies... there's alot of those! I like being outdoors, meeting new people, film, gym, art, video games, music, sport, studying (not at uni, I just generally like learning about heaps of topics), pop culture, crafting (I make clothes too), learning languages... I could go on for a while. In short, I like to enjoy as many things as possible and i'm always looking for new things to do! If I sound like someone you might like to share a house with, reach out and we can have a chat over the phone or over a coffee to see how we get along. :) (I can provide references if needed! ) -private room only, no shared rooms thanks
I am from Canada and I work in public relations for a travel company. I've travelled to almost 40 countries and have lots of stories and love to talk travel. I also like staying active, going out to eat and being social on weekends.
Hi I'm a WHV French woman, looking to settle a few months near Melbourne. Easy to get along with, I'm laid back and tidy. I like to go out for a few drinks just as much as to stay in and netflix. I work part-time and also remotely for a French company. I like good food, good wine and some running to keep it all together.
Hello! I'm Rafael, 25 years old, Brazilian. I just arrived in Melbourne last month, and I'm looking for a good place to live, not so expensive and not so far from the CBD. I'm studying a VET course in Greenwich College, I'm also looking for a part-time job. I'm a kind person, clean, organised and respectful.
hi, I'm Indonesian I've been living in the city for 6 months as a student. I'm easy going girl, I'd like to hang out with someone who wants to explore Melbourne. I'm looking for a private room and prefer to live within 20 minutes walk of the CBD
I am a Software Professional and working for a large corporation in a permanent position and I am an Indian. I am looking for a private room accommodation for a few months. I would like to stay in a place where I can do my office work comfortably as I might have to work remotely at times. Thanks for reading to know about me!
Enrolling into B.Com at University of Melbourne in Feb 2020 and would be turning 19 by the time I move in. My mother tongue is English, and also able to speak fluent Chinese, Malay and Foochow. Personal wise - I am level-headed and very friendly. Would love to meet like-minded friends from staying at your place. and possibly travel around together if you guys are keen to explore AUS together. I prefer considerate house/roommates who respect personal space as much as I do. During the length of stay with you, I would be out at least 10 hours a day - either in class or working part time or sitting at the cafe, so you'd have the room to yourself most of the time! Side note: I do not drink nor smoke. But I'd be cooking (more like microwaving tbh) Professional wise - I've always been highly ambitious and career-oriented. Over the last three years, I secured multiple internships with corporates including KPMG. Currently, I am on a four month contract role at Axiata (an ASEAN conglomerate) as a junior finance analyst till January 2020. In Melbourne, I would be looking for a similar finance related part-time job or within the fields I am certified in - digital marketing and RPA. Excited to stay with clean and self-organized roommates and possibly travel together in the near future if we are click! If I am who you are looking for, let's connect!
