Looking for a place for 3-4 weeks. Just moved to Australia and need temporary accommodation until I can settle in completely. I am originally from Mumbai and have spend about 12 years in Los Angeles. I like movies, sports and pretty laid back overall. Dont like to party too much but dont mind the bars once in a while.
Hi. I come from Kenya, East Africa. I am 27 and a full time Masters student at RMIT. I like to cook (when time allows) and bake (I most definitely enjoy the products of the effort whether cooked by me or by someone else), to read and to see new places. I have a mix of introversion and extroversion. Since I am a postgrad student, no worries of crazy party life of younger years. I absolutely love cleanliness and tidiness (but not a tidy freak myself). I will respect your space and observe your boundaries hoping you will do the same for me. I consider myself easy to live with and flexible. I am cheerful, easy to talk to and a good listener. I keep no pets and don't drink except on specific occasions neither do I smoke. I am looking for a home to come to after a tiring day and not just a roof over my head. My housemate says I am the best housemate she has ever had because I am clean, tidy and careful about conserving energy and respecting other people's space. This is why I think I would make a good housemate. I generally prefer to share with a female if in a two-sharing flat but open to consider a mix if in a bigger place.
I am a professional fine dining chef who works long hours, 6-7 days & 80 hrs a week. On my day off I am attending a class at a business college. I am very clean and very quiet. I don't have time to party and have friends over. I don't use the kitchen or living room. I try to be sociable when I have the time, but its most likely just a chat. I believe in kindness, respect, and mutual understanding.

Hello we're Michele (29yo) and Maria Teresa (31yo), Italian couple in Australia for a Working Holiday. We're looking for a nice room (or a teamup to take a flat). We're both non smokers, VERY clean, quiet and sociable, we love food (cooking and especially eating), art, music and travelling. We would like to share a home with persons like us, respectful but still sociable (no house parties or people renting the living room for the love of god).
I work full time as an International Marketing Director and Academic Manager of a college in the city and I'm usually at work most days (yes even on the weekends). When I'm at home, I enjoy cooking Japanese food and working on my car. I'm polite, quiet and like a clean, tidy and quiet environment to come home to at night. I lived in Japan for 7 years and speak Japanese fluently and a little Mandarin Chinese among other languages. I sometimes play basketball on the weekends and often go to the gym. I'm looking for something long term and my priorities are quiet, clean and respectful of privacy.

I am a foodie and in my free time would love exploring Melbourne and the foodie culture.

Who knows may be one day I will actually become one after I land the big dollars :). Sorry that was wrong. I'll land the big dollars soon or later. Sigh.....! I'm looking for a private room within a house to co-share costs - my budget is between $150 -200 pw and will pay upfront for atleast 20 weeks in advance (3 / 4k). I prefer a 2BR house i.e. a house with only two occupants. A single parent with child(ren) would be a great housemate. Hit me up if you have a room; male or female and you don't mind living w a genius (lol im not) but I am v sociable. Age group from 29 to 55 is preferable, but I am also pretty chill and can hang out w Melbourne's baddass teens lol. I can handle street slangs v well and can repeat "like" in each of my sentences. "Its like he doesn't like me"; "it's like she married a crappy guy" :) I hold a masters' degree and prior to starting my own business I worked with a bank and a large not for profit agency in Melbourne. I have lived in Melbourne for over six years and I am permanent (i've postponed my citizenship test since January lol - :) If you have any questions please ask - I have put all cards on the table. NB. I do not like racist people so if you are one and I contact you just ignore me, I will understand. Thank you for reading my profile. Make it beautiful and contact me if you want a room mate. I am an awesome bloke / dude / guy / hunk whatever you wanna call me. Lotsa people who chill out w me like me instantly. They honestly do lol. Cheers.

I'm working during the day and out or in my room in the evenings. With that said, I'm definitely positive, outgoing and love socialising. I try to help and make life easier for others so hoping the same. Not a drinker, smoker or partier, but down for boardgames or movies. Love keeping clean and prefer people who too. Moving out of my current apartment because the neighbours upstairs love jumping and running around... so my main request is a quiet apartment (hopefully that exists!) My name's Grace and I'm looking to move to Melbourne early October from FNQ. I'll be starting at RMIT (BA Photography) next year but until then, I don't mind living a bit further out of the city, while I work. I love music, poetry, writing, am studying online currently and am a pretty keen cook and am pretty introverted and quiet. That being said, I'd ideally love to live with people I can call friends and hang out with. I'm tidy, quiet, clean and all of that jazz- used to living with other people and taking care of a home. Also, I have a cat I can bring if you're up for it but that's optional. What I'm looking for: housemates I can call friends; people who are LGBT+ accepting (I'm gay), a house to call a home. That's all from me!
