Student. Casual worker. More than the sum of the parts. I have widely varied musical tastes (whilst respecting volume levels) and enjoy getting amongst it, wether that be hiking to the top of the mountain or snorkeling to find nemo. I cook a mean roast or BBQ, I cook a sub par risitto but an working on that. I cannot walk tight rope, nor juggle. I do have a mean as frisbee and hackysack game though. I am a conscientious and empathethic flatmate. I have no pets but I love animals. I rarely party but when I do you better hope you have a camera handy.
I am an Australian, working as a trainer/teacher. I'm a non-smoker and don't have kids or pets though I love animals. I enjoy being fit, love food & a glass of wine on the deck. I'm private and home owner so I understand to keep a place clean and respected. I am flexible with my length of stay from 3 months to over 12 months depending on the place. References available.
I'm very clean, organised, quiet, polite, educated, with a sense of fun. I'm capable and responsible. If a fire broke out I'd know what to do. I've never smoked but I like a glass of prosecco every now and then. I can look after myself but I am caring, responsible and empathetic. I'm a lawyer and have been for the last 15 years or so. I've lived at Lennox Head for 1.5 years and purchased land at Bangalow where I plan to build my home eventually. I used to ride horses professionally and would like to get back into it but it does get very hot up here which would make it tough I imagine. I have a kitten, one of a litter which was dumped on me, which I would love to keep if possible. I have found homes for the others. I love living near the ocean and being able to hear the waves at night while in bed. But I also love the rolling green hills and sub-tropical landscape. All of it is very beautiful.
I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year; or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.
I'm an easy going person who lives a quite lifestyle. I practice and teach yoga and live a yogic lifestyle, vegetarian, I don't smoke or drink or do drugs. I am working 3 days a week in Lismore but that may increase soon. I also go away fairly regular to stay with my daughter and partner (at different times) and to undertake further training and study in yoga (currently studying yoga therapy). I like to spend time in the garden, growing food is my passion and I have a small orchid collection. I also have a couple of chickens that I hope to bring with me to my new home. I play guitar (a little) and have a collection of drums, darrabukkas, frame drums and djembes mainly but I recetly won a set of congas in a raffle! I have a background in middle eastern drumming (and bellydance for about 18 years).

Hi, looking for a lovely home - somewhere quiet and calm and cat friendly for my gorgeous indoor, house trained cat Lily and me! Ideally a vegetarian/vegan home. I'm a primary school teacher, also studying Steiner Education part time. When I'm not working and studying I love cooking, yoga, beach walks...
Hey! I'm a hairdressing apprentice in Ballina. Looking for somewhere I can feel at home! Smoking doesn't bother me, pets are cool, vego or not I respect your beliefs. Into footy (afl) and music! Smith St, Camp Cope, Johnny Cash. Easy to get along with :)
The house is fresh, clean and has a spacious feel. It has a veranda that faces the rural view of hills and the lounge/kitchen space enjoys heaps of abundant light. The place is built for passive solar and is warm but attracts breezes. There is solar power and high speed internet, which is included in the rent. There is a second room with only drapes that can be shared as an office space, guest/yoga space or a treatment room.... open to translation. The house is furnished with a mixture of the owners things and my own with an Asian overtone including Japanese zen pebble garden and soak bath in the main bathroom. The area is quiet and has a tennis court and playing field nearby and is close to the Farmer's Market and town. It's a pet free, smoke and drug free home. The owner's has asked for a shoes off home... (They have had a dojo set up here and taught aikido.)
North-facing master bedroom with ensuite, walk-in-robe and ceiling fan in Mullumbimby. Share kitchen, laundry and rest of the house including fabulous deck with views to Mt Chincogan. Ideally I'm looking for a like-minded person for long-term sharing. Someone who is working, mature age, non-smoking (not negotiable), quiet, clean and considerate person. Fully furnished $220 per week plus bills. We have NBN and live in a very quiet street with lots of families and nice neighbours. Sorry no pets.
Great house on the hill in Bangalow, quiet & private (hidden from neighbours) . Sun drenched balcony/ kitchen / dinning area of a morning. The house is high amongst the trees, sometimes feeling like your having breakfast with the birds. It’s a 3 bedroom house with two bathrooms with lots of space for 3 housemates to share. We like to keep the common areas clean & tidy, washing up after meals, taking rubbish out etc …we are quite respectful of each other with a good sense of banter & laughter... We enjoy having a meal or BBQ together once in a while or watching a movie …we like to have the house feel warm & like family. There’s a lovely community spirit in Bangalow with various events throughout the year. Once you settle here & get involved it’s hard to live anywhere else. I have lived here for 3 years & have made a great network of friends. Just 12 km’s to Byron Bay with two directions to get there. Easy to avoid the Ewingsdale traffic jams in summer. At night you can see the lighthouse light & some nights you can hear the ocean up here. Our 3rd housemate is leaving us to return to London in Mid- July…. we’d like to fill his room with someone who enjoys a lovely home to live-in & is happy to contribute to form a family feel in the house. The room is north facing with loads of natural light, unfurnished & big built-wardrobe. Off-street, undercover parking for each of us…no one gets wet when it rains ☺ . We throw in $60/ month which covers the bills ...Wifi, electricity, gas, water & couple of groceries we share. We are looking for someone who works full time (as we both do) ... :) . If this sounds like a fit for you we'd love to hear from you message or give me a call ..happy to have a chat ...Michelle :) * Big house, Relaxed living space * Spacious & quiet * Off-street parking, undercover, * Gas heating and cooking
