Hi. We have recently moved from Melbourne, currently staying with family. We are looking for a room to rent anywhere in the Hobart region. We have a 2 year old cat named Sonic. We are good at keeping the house clean and garden maintenance. We are respectful of others and their space and are quiet.
Hi I am in the process of moving from Western Australia to Hobart to work in the Parks and Wildlife Service after many years working in WA Parks and Wildlife. I will be working full time and at the moment I am looking for somewhere to stay for between 1 to 2 months until my belongings arrive and i find a suitable place to stay in the long term. In the long term I am looking for somewhere that is pet friendly for me to bring over my one year old Kelpie x ridgeback (kelpie size) and preferably somewhere with a shed/workshop i can use. It would be great to find the perfect place to start with but initially I will be happy with somewhere to stay. When my belongings arrive I will have my own bed and some furniture and most importantly my coffee machine!!

Hello there. I'm a thoughtful, friendly human looking for a place to call home. Would be chuffed to find somewhere with a garden and lots of sunshine. I will be studying visual arts f/t in 2019 and work casually in a bookshop. I'm also a potter and have a gentle russian blue cat.

Heyyy, I'm Luciana and I'm 23 years old. I'm currently working full-time in Melbourne and will be relocating to Tassie (Hobart) very soon for study purpose. I'm looking for a private room in a share house (for myself only) from prox. end of Jan/early of Feb onwards. Most of the time I will be out and about, but I will still up for wine-night and enjoy social/dinner time or movie night with housemates. However, I will be quiet in room majority of the time to relax/retreat or do my own work. I'd describe myself as an outgoing, responsible, nonsmoking and tidy person. I have experiences with living in a shared house and respect my housemates' privacy or house's rules. So it'd be ideal if I could find a lovely housemate-to-be have the same thought :) Cheers, Luci
Hi there! Having a accepted a job in Hobart (in psychology), I am looking forward to moving there from Perth in January. I am originally from the US/UK and moved to Australia 8 months ago. I guess I consider myself mostly British as I have lived there the longest, but it's a tough decision! I enjoy doing things that keep me generally happy and healthy - being outdoors, hiking, biking, gardening, gym, yoga, great food and cooking, culture and meeting new people. I'm passionate about my career as well so psychology belongs on my list of hobbies too. As I will be working full-time, I imagine I will be at home mostly during evenings and weekends. I am looking forward to joining social/exercise/hobby groups that get me out of the house but I will need some relaxed home-time all the same. I am most used to cooking as a vegetarian at home as my partner is vegetarian/vegan, but I am flexible about cooking amongst non-vegetarians. I've lived in a number of flat-shares, both at University and during my working life. This has given me great experiences in wonderful houses, locations and the opportunity to meet friendly people. I'd love to hear from you about flats, or about moving to Hobart in general :) Dalia
I’m 18 and wanting to move to Hobart to study tafe from Burnie. I have a casual job which I can transfer to Hobart thought and I am currently searching for a second job. I am a sociable person but I also like my personal space. I have many interests and like to learn more skills from other people.
I am beginning my PhD with the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture in New Town in early December. Prior to this I worked as a Scientist in Agricultural Research and Development for one of the poppy companies. I have my own house in Launceston with my partner of 33 years, 3 cats and 6 chooks. I will be returning to Launceston most weekends. I am looking for a room in a share house for the 4-5 days that I am in Hobart studying. I am an easy going, tidy, accepting gay man who is not afraid of a bit of housework. I like to garden, chill in front of the TV, hit the beach and keep fit at the gym. Also looking forward to the opportunity to see a few bands that do not come up this way. I listen to Triple J and love the current crop of awesome Aussie bands.
Heya! I'm Monique, I'm looking for a place to call home. I've maintained my own flat for the past 12 months; I enjoy being social over a couple bevs or dinner, and I am quite tidy, organized and always respectful of others space/things. I'll be looking to study at TAFE next year, but at the moment I'm working between 20 - 30hrs in hospo. In my spare time, I love to hang out with friends and go on adventures bushwalking, to the beach or camping trips. I'm looking for (preferably) a private room to settle into. A 6 month (with the possibility of extending to 12 months+) lease would be ideal. I do come as a package! Little Arlo, my 12-month-old kitty, is my pride n joy. He is house trained, short-haired, and never has he clawed any furniture or anything related. He is ok with other animals that i know of including dogs) I look forward to hearing from you, thnx for reading :)
I'm a 25 yo French Phd student just arriving in Hobart . I'm studying at UTAS on fisheries management, and will stay around a year in Hobart. I'm quite an easy-going person. I practise yoga and meditation, and love spending time out in nature, hiking, cycling, running.... I like having time for myself but I'm also happy to share everyday moments with the people I live with. I've already had many experiences in flatsharing and like to live in a tidy and peaceful home.
I'm a dental student in my 5th year (JCU Cairns) and will be in Hobart for one of my final year placements (Jan to beginning of June). Originally I'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but have studied in Cairns for my degree and have loved it. Stoked to be in Tassie for a while to explore some different areas. I'm into mountain biking, hiking, camping, and gym in my free time. Looking for a place to stay in Hobart during my placement, ideally not too far drive from the clinic in Newtown and with neat and easy going housemates. Prefer to have furnished room and private bathroom but I don't mind sharing either. I am very tidy and responsible, like to have a chat but also respect personal space. I plan to do a lot of exploring/camping on weekends but will be doing some study during the week. Keen to team up with like-minded, easy going housemates
We'll be working in Hobart and looking to explore more of Tasmania in our free time so probably won't be home too much but we would like to find a place to call home, meet new people, start having a routine, going to the gym, yoga, and hiking.

Hey there, I'm a pretty easy going person who loves the outdoors. I'm moving from Brisbane to Hobart for work so just looking for somewhere social and respectful to live. Outside of work I love to do a bit of mountain biking, hiking and play hockey. I've been living in share housing for about 5 years now and am a respectful and tidy housemate.
