There is also the free use of a sweet 70s caravan for when friends stay. Sharing with 3 very laid back and easy going, considerate people. Just 5 minuets drive to the train station and town. This is a lovely 2 story large modern country house with 2 open fireplaces and split systems, large TV, the house is in the town of Trentham walking distance to the shops, hotels and restaurants. There is a bus service to Kyneton, Woodend and Daylesford to hook up with the train services. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers, 1 toilet and shower is downstairs and the other shower, king bath and toilet is upstairs where I sleep. The two bedrooms are downstairs with a queen bed in each. The house is very clean, there is a webber on the back deck and a Japanese pond around the backyard, fruit trees in the front yard in Spring/Summer. It gets cold so be prepared adjust and manage the warmth of the house through feeding the wood on the fires over winter it can hit 1 degree. There isn't any room for you to bring your own furniture as the house is fully furnished. I work 6 days a fortnight in a hospital in Melbourne so I'm not there alot so you need to be independent.

Ours is a very large, two storey house on a sizeable farm with cattle and horses. It is rural and quiet with many trees including a small orchard near the house. Bird life is plentiful and varied and we have a resident pea hen. Unfortunately, no pets can be brought onto the property. We are located 10 mins from Gisborne; 15 mins to Bacchus Marsh; 20 mins to Riddells Creek and Woodend; 35 mins to Kyneton; and, 40 mins to Melbourne Airport. Each floor has a large shared kitchen (the downstairs will be completed by early November). Kitchen utensils and cookware are available for your use. There is a communal laundry on the top floor. Each floor also has its own beautiful shared lounge room with bay windows overlooking the farm and the Macedon Ranges. Both lounges include a wood fire and formal dining room. A separate TV room adjoins the top floor kitchen. There is plenty of space for barbecues and outside living. All bills and internet access are included in the rent. We have several rooms available over the two floors. Currently Rooms 2 and 3 are occupied. The first bedroom is large with a dressing room with ample storage space. It can easily fit a kingsize bed, desk and comfortable sofas or chairs. The picture windows look out over the Macedon Ranges. The private bathroom is large and includes a bath. It is suitable for couples. The cost is $250 for a single and $300 for a couple, per week. The second bedroom is also large with a BIW. It can fit a kingsize bed, a desk and one or two comfortable chairs. The bay window looks out onto the Macedon Ranges. The available bathroom is large and shared with one other flatmate. It is suitable for couples. The cost is $200 for a single and $250 for a couple per week. Currently taken. The third bedroom is smaller, with a BIW. It is suitable for a king single, or possibly a double. A small desk and chair will fit into it. The available bathroom is large and shared with one, perhaps two flatmates. The cost is $160 per week. Currently taken. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are downstairs and can be suitable for couples as well as individuals. They each have a BIW. We are in the process of building a new kitchen and another full bathroom downstairs. At the moment there is a shower and toilet available. Whilst the renovations are being completed (by the end of November) the rent is $160 per room for a single person and $210 per room for a couple. When the new rooms are fully functional the rent will raise to $180 per room for a single and $230 per room for a couple, per week. There is plenty of off street parking, but not undercover and included in the rent. Some limited garaged car space is available at an extra cost. The access road is sealed and the winding driveway has a gravel surface. Entry is by a security gate. My partner and I will continue to live on the property. We will be pleased to be your neighbours, and I will be actively working the farm.
House is located just outside maldon on a beautiful 10 acre farm. Beautiful country side scenery with Mount Tarrengower right next to the house with plenty of hiking, horse riding and bike tracks. The property has a car port with a shed, two large dams, a chicken pen, a vegi garden, horse stable, well fenced paddocks, apple, pear and apricot trees grow near the house and a small hay shed and a large lockable storage shed. The house is small but cosy with a wood heater and Split system and fully furnished. The fire runs all day and there is no shortage of wood as we cut and use our own wood. House has just been painted. The bedroom that is available is small but there is plenty of room in the shed to store anything you need.
I’m a full time worker, and part time student studying a bachelor of business online. I work 40-60 hours a week and study on my days off. My work will involve early mornings and late nights, so there may be times you don’t see me. Happy to hang out for a drink but also happy to keep to myself.

Romsey is a really nice quiet town with a nice community, the house is on a block with gardens surrounding it, very close to the main street of Romsey. The Land outside the house block is getting developed later this year but there will be full access to the house at all times. There is a large outdoor veranda out the back with a split system AC in the lounge area. House is fully furnished with Lounge, Laundry and kitchen. Flatmates need to be able to drive because the nearest train station is about a 10 minutes away.
