Hi there, My name is Michelle, I am 24 years old, and I work as a nurse at The Canberra Hospital. I am friendly, considerate, neat, and a fairly quiet, reserved sort of person, who will always make it a priority to pay rent and utilities on time. I am not into loud partying or things like that, but do enjoy the occasional drink with friends. I have a 10-year-old small/medium dog named Roxy, who is the most perfect creature! She doesn’t shed, rarely barks, absolutely doesn’t bite, and I do have a rental reference specifically for her. I am quite flexible on the length of lease. Please let me know if you’d like to see a reference for either Roxy or myself. Thanks for your time!
I have a furnished granny flat in Duffy (that's in Weston Creek for the uninitiated). The bus services are pretty good especially in peak hour, to Cooleman, Woden, City, Tuggeranong and Belconnen. We share the laundry in the main house but otherwise it is self contained with little kitchen and ensuite. Separate entry and lots of storage. There is a joining door to the main house which can be locked from both sides but does allow some sound through. I have two active children so you would need to be able to live with that; like you and me they are at school/work during the week and with their dad half the weekend (not like you and me). I'm a full time public servant at one of our grand cultural institutions in Parkes. I have a stupidly busy life but can always find time for a cuppa on Saturday mornings in the backyard sun. Rent is $250/w which includes utilities; unlimited wifi is available for an $5/week (VDSL2). Please let me know if you're interested and we can work out a time for you to come have a look! Cheers Rebecca
Hi, I'm a student teacher finishing my masters in teaching. I'm relaxed and friendly :) I have a small spoodle (spaniel x poodle) named Digby. Because he is a poodle breed he does not shed fur. He's fully house-trained, pretty quiet and loves people. Ideally I'd like to find a place with a small yard for him to run around in. I work part-time and am also a free lance illustrator. My other interest is swing dancing, I generally spend two to three nights a week dancing.
Hi! My name is Tomas, I'm 25 and I work in hospitality. I'm moving back to Sydney from Canberra so I'm looking for a place to share. I do enjoy my Netflix (I go on random binges), I enjoy the occasional beer but I also keep for myself (especially if I just bought a new ps4 game). I come with a tv and ps4, but I can also contribute with some furniture. I'm very easy going, have a very easy sense of humour and I'm looking forward to meeting you! Thanks for the time!
Hi there! I'm an active young woman who works for Cisco out at Brindabella Park. I grew up here, so plenty of local knowledge. I don't have pets just YET, but I'm planning on rescuing a doggo or two, because I love dogs and also they're the key to happiness. This means that, if possible, I'd love a place with a yard. It doesn't have to be massive, as I'm in the habit of walking any dogs I have twice a day, every day. I regularly go to the gym - Eighty8 near my work, Anytime Fitness, and BlocHaus climbing gym - so I'm out of the house until quite late on weekdays. On weekends, I like relaxing around the house, moaning about being tired, then finally dragging myself off my butt to buy expensive brunch like the usual entitled millennial (but I hate avocado - ask me why I haven't bought a house yet!) and hang out with my mates. I am not at all a morning person; in fact I hate them. And I'm also not really a party person unless someone else does all the work and drags me out the door. I'm really not suited to a student household or a house with more than two other people - I've done my time in massive sharehouses, and I'm not about that life anymore. I do like cooking, but I'm pretty boring, because I usually bulk cook everything once a week and then eat frozen leftovers. Sometimes I feel inspired and make cakes/biscuits/assorted baked goods which I expect to share, because please take all those sweet things away from me. I definitely have too many clothes, so expect to triple your wardrobe if you're a size 8/shoe size 7, because I share. If you're a bloke, you can share too, but don't stretch out anything expensive! I enjoy video games, and I have a nice PC and an Xbox 360 (yes, I refuse to update, that workhorse is still going strong). I also read a lot! In summary: - One or two other people to share; - Small yard for a doggy; - Not a party animal; - Tragically single, so no bf/gf to awkwardly meet, but occasional sobbing; - Sometimes sing in the shower, but am actually decent; - Unfortunately shed long blonde hair everywhere; - Don't smoke, do drink infrequently; - Relaxed, full time employed, also I smell nice.
Looking for a housemate to share with a 26yr old female and two dogs (a terrier and a husky x) in a house in Wright. Directly across the road from Stromlo, it's an amazing location if you like hiking or mountain biking. 10-15 minutes away from all the major town centres. You'd have your own bathroom and parking space in the garage, and there's also extra storage room in the spare bedroom/space to turn it into a study. I'm looking for someone neat, tidy and sociable. Love a glass of wine and a chat after work and the occasional TV binge. Bonus points if you have an excellent sense of humour and appreciation for bad puns. House is connected to the NBN which is included in the price, with all other bills and utilities split evenly.
Quiet part-time stay at home worker with two small shih-tzu cross dogs looking for suitable long-term accommodation anywhere in the Greater CBR area. Conscientious, considerate of others, and respectful of privacy. Social as required, and always clean and tidy. References are available on request.
Clean & tidy person. Friendly, mature person. Loves travelling & scuba diving. Happy to have a chat or remain quiet. Have a friendly dog who doesn't make a sound at nite.
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
Great for young professionals wanting to live/work close to Woden/the City (only 10 mins drive). A room (with a brand new double bed) is available in a spacious, three-bed room, two-storey town house. The room is quite big, with a built-in-robe and private bathroom. The house has NBN, Netflix, and a private pool for the complex. Please note the rent does not include bills, and all bills (electricity/ gas/ internet) will be split equally. About us - You'll be sharing with two amazing housemates (ha!). First housemate is a 29 year old working full time and studying her Masters. Second housemate is busy finishing her law degree at the ANU. We're both fairly chilled and definitely not party animals. Some nights we watch the latest thing on Netflix, while other nights we are happy to keep to ourselves. We are both very clean and like to keep the place tidy. One is a non-drinker and another a vegetarian - and would ideally prefer someone who is similar, or is respective of this in the house. Lastly, I have an adorable (yet slightly crazy) cat - therefore no other pets will be allowed. We're after a female housemate who is responsible, honest, tidy and respects other's privacy and space. If you'd like to know more, please get in touch and we can arrange a time to show you the house. In your msg please include a little about yourself and what you're looking for in a house :)

A long kitchen and island bench looks over a spacious common area that readily accommodates 8-10 people when required. This common space is north facing with hardwood floors and leads out through glass double doors to the front yard. There is also a separate study area with space for a large desk and side table available. Our area of Coombs is close to the Tuggeranong parkway allowing quick access to all regions of Canberra. All the houses on our street though are accessible by laneway so there is very little traffic or noise. The house itself is equipped with ducted reverse-cycle heating. The room itself faces north with a view across the arboretum to Black mountain and Telstra tower for the room itself and the attached balcony. The room has a large sliding door double wardrobe and room for a double bed.

I am a 23 year old female, currently working full-time in the corporate health sector in Sydney and getting ready to make the move to Canberra in 2018. I come from a big family so I know the in's and out's of sharing space with others. You can count on me to respect your home and be proactive when it comes to organizing my own space, meals and contributing to household bills. I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker and enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle. I anticipate I'll be working most of the time in Canberra, but I'm always up for a cooking session, a weekend hike or even some good conversation over some good food!

Jens and I are 23 and 22 years old, both from Germany and both studying Physics. Jens has graduated already and is going to start his PhD in Astrophysics at ANU. Therefore he will be living in Canberra for at least a few years. I am doing my Masters in Physics and I will come to Canberra to write my Masters thesis in a research group at ANU for about six months. We both like sports and the outdoors a lot and love to go mountainbiking, hiking, skiing, swimming, surfing,... Both of us have lived in shared flats before and like to consider ourselves as pretty uncomplicated as well as clean and tidy. Of course we are always up for a chat or sharing a meal with our flatmates :)
We have just come back from a big overseas trip and are looking for a place close to the city. We both work full time. From Canberra, we both do crossfit but love almost any style of exercise training. Love camping, hiking, sunshine and being outdoors. Love a chat and sharing meals and a few drinks now and then but also respectful of personal space and downtime.

I'm a very social guy who loves playing sport and spending time outdoors. Will be happy to hangout with housemates from time to time and share a meal or have a drink. Also understand and value the importance of giving everyone their own personal space. I clean up after myself and will pull my fair share of the household chores.
