Location, convenience, character, potential! Lovely old bungalow in Dulwich with only one housemate. The house has character. That much I can guarantee you. I would strongly advice that you come check out the place before applying with the agency. Plus, of course I'd like to meet you to see if we can get along. You're welcome to add on furniture if you have any. You really can't beat this location. Dulwich is an old neighbourhood, quiet, easily accessible and peaceful. It's an 8 minute cycle to the city or under a half hour walk via Victoria Park to Hutt Street. You could even easily walk to Burnside Village and the closest grocery shop is a 2 minute walk and opens til 9pm! Plus, cafes all around and the prettiest hidden gem of a rose park just 5 minutes walk from the house. Room 2 up for rent has an attached verandah/balcony/sunroom enclosed in it's own space with a powerpoint plug in the area! So jealous, it would be amazing in summer! It will be unfurnished so you're welcomed to bring your own furniture. However, I'm happy to help source a bed if you need it furnished. It's facing the backyard so privacy isn't an issue. Room 3 is a tiny room I'm thinking of converting into a guest room or study room. I already have a sturdy queen sized pull out couch in the living room if you or I have a guest staying over so maybe room 3 can be a study room. I'm open to ideas from a new housemate. On top of that, there is a huge shed which I have stored several things in but you are welcomed to make use of the rest of it. Maybe make it a mancave/sheshed? The only issue is that there is no electricity in the shed. As for the garden, I have a mate coming over to mow the lawns for a carton of beer every month so you needn't worry about that. Of course, renting this house is subject to the approval from the agency. If you have a good history of renting and a secure job I'm sure you won't have a problem as they checked those things with my application. However the bond is AUD$1,350 but Flatmates.com would not offer me that option so please bear that in mind before applying. We have this place until early June 2020. At the end of the tenancy (SA laws state that tenancy agreement has a maximum of 12 months only according to the agency) I will be renewing for another 12 months. Of course this is subject to the landlord's approval in case they want to move back in. So message me if you have any further enquiries! Am happy to provide contact of previous housemates I've house shared with.
We are working professionals from Singapore and we speak fluent English. We are looking for a place for 3 months first, we might extend after that but will see how it goes. We love to keep our place clean and of course, as tidy as possible. We are hoping to look for somewhere with great privacy, so probably 1 flatmate or just the whole property by ourselves. We are easy-going and love to play video games, board games and watch shows. We love to explore and find new adventures as well, of course, that includes hiking. Would love to make some friends.
Hi guys. I am a young professional Melbournian who has recently accepted a job with Daikin in Adelaide. So looking for a share house with other cool people who are open to a wine at night, but also respectful and low key on school nights. Im a social guy, who loves a chat, live music, sports and wine/restaurants. Look forward to chatting
I work full time as a marketer in nonprofit and love spending my free time checking out new dining spots or catching up with friends. I am tidy, respectful and a pretty chill person to live with. Currently looking to relocate closer to the city and work, preferably in the south-eastern suburbs and with a maximum of two other housemates to live with. I am a non-smoker. Interests: Festivals, arts, volunteering, reading, food, music, video games, travel and Netflix.
I'm passionate about living a low-impact lifestyle, enjoy the outdoors, riding, cooking and concocting and would love a place that embraces all these things. Ideally I'd like to live in a leafy suburb, no more than a 30 minute ride to the city, close to trails if possible. I'm a bit over the party lifestyle but do like the occasional dinner party and night out. Having said that, I'm often so busy at work and going to events that I struggle to find enough time for other things, so when I'm home, I like to relax with a book or good cook-up. I'm clean and tidy and value/practice good open communication and respect so would love to share a place with like-minded people. Cheers
I'm friendly and tidy, easy to get along with but also appreciate my own space. I'm in my honours year in psych and work part-time. Lease is ending where I currently am so hoping to find a relatively quiet place to share.
Hey peeps, I’m a full time worker in a cafe, play sport, and love a good G&T. I’m from the hills and am looking to move into the surrounding city suburbs for a change. Looking for easy going housemates, that clean up after themselves and are respectful of others space and privacy. I’m quite laid back and tend to keep to myself, but enjoy socialising and hanging around others. Let me know if you’d think I’d be suitable x
Hi, my name's Sam! I'm 20 years old and currently in my third year studying geology at the University of Adelaide. I'm looking to move in with 1-2 other girls in a place relatively close to the city (and preferably near some nice cafes and a gym!). I've been renting near Plympton for the past year and a half. I'd consider myself to be pretty chill to live with, I'm clean, considerate, and would love to move in with housemates that could also be friends :). I'm a little bit of a study bee (so tend to be relatively quiet), go to the gym fairly frequently, and often spend weekends with my partner or back in Murray Bridge with family. Feel free to message if you have any questions or would like to know more about me :)
Hi there，I am going to enroll in July at University of Adelaide.I want to find a place and stay here for 4 months. My English is not good at speaking, but I will continue to strengthen my study of English and help us communicate more easily. Thanks！
