Hey there! Great loft space, house and wonderful housemates (/family). Available 25 August (flexible) ~ 20 December (negotiable) The house itself is large and spacious, with three downstairs bedrooms, an enormous bathroom/laundry, two separate living areas, spacious kitchen and big backyard, as well as the loft space upstairs. Location is amazing! Only a few doors down from the beautiful Victoria Park Racecourse, it's a 10-15 min ride or bus ride to town. Plenty of public transport options around, shops are just up the road, and there’s a great cafe just a couple of doors down if you need a coffee fix. THE ROOM: It's a unique upstairs area with your own patio/balcony, lounge/study area, sleeping space and bathroom (please see pics). Obviously this room comes with heaps of perks, but it's not for everyone as it doesn’t have a door. It's hard to explain without seeing it, but because you're separated by a set of stairs no one can actually see up into the room, but in terms of noise, there isn't a great deal of buffer. So please only respond to this ad if you are someone that can go with the flow and isn't too bothered by hearing some of the comings and goings of the house. For me, it's never been an issue and I study full-time, and the housemates are very considerate and respectful. ***Please include a description of yourself in your response*** THE DEAL: It's a 4-month sublet, for which you would pay a small bond to me directly, to be refunded once observed that the room is left in one piece. The furniture would stay (including two small sofas, desk, lamps, bed, etc.) There are also a number of bills incl. internet (monthly), gas, electricity and water (quartely). Although they are fairly conservative, please keep these in mind when considering the rental price, as these bills have not been taken into account. All are welcome! :)

Employed single male looking for accomodation with easy transportation to North Terrace in CBD. I prefer single-person accomodation (either studio or share house) around $200/week or whole house with 2-3 bedroom under $400, which i can share with my friend. I have a routine life, full time job and respectful manner. I've never had any housing or accomodation issues or conflicts with landlords or agents during my 2 years backpacking around Australia and the previous 2 years studying in Adelaide. I'm sociable but also respect my housemates' needs for privacy and quiet space. I would like to have a place where pet is allowed, but it is not required.
I am clean, easy going an respectful. Have moved here to study medicine so I spend a lot of my time studying although in my free time i like to play music, go to the beach, go to concerts and spend time with friends.
I HAVE BEEN IN MULTIPLE COUNTRIES, EACH ONE OF THEM HAVING FLATMATES AND HAD NO PROBLEMS AS MY NUMBER ONE RULE IS TO RESPECT AND THEREFORE I WILL RECEIVE THE SAME. IM MOVING TO AUSTRALIA TO STUDY A MASTERS DEGREE IN ADELAIDE SO I'M PLANNING TO ENJOY EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS NEW CITY.
Experienced at house-sharing in Adelaide and throughout Europe since I was 18. Just finished studying Economics and Psychology at Uni of Adelaide. Working Full-time now. Still like going out, play social sport a couple nights a week, enjoy good food and a beverage from time to time. Born in Germany, grew up in the Barossa Valley, lived a few years in Germany, Switzerland and Spain in my mid 20s.
Hello everybody! I am a French student and I am currently studying agricultural science. I am going to do an internship in the University of Adelaide from the end of August to the beginning of February, that is why I am looking for accommodation. I like talking (about any subject) and joking but I am quiet. I enjoy hiking, running, and biking. Sometimes, I like to go for a drink. I am open to any option! See you soon, Max
The house is HUGE and a lot of room to chill out, beautiful quiet street, close to the city - leafy suburb. There are 2 bedrooms and one bathroom up-stairs (semi-furnished). $400pp if there's only 1 roommate $300pp if 2 suitable people show interest * Have a good roommate relationship is better than saving $100 sometimes....rather it is a relaxed home. Non-smokers, healthy (mind & body) people only, please. I work from home and my profession is not suitable for live-in children - however, I am super open and happy to consider children on a weekend type basis. Walking distance to Norwood and the city or super close to public transport, cafes, parks and playgrounds. I'm pretty cruisey but also like the house to be maintained and tidy. I am not much of a partier (or when I do, it's usually unexpected). I own a TV but it's not plugged into an aerial, music is more my thing. I love wine, I love BBQ - personally, I am not much of a cook but I'm in my 40's and still alive so I can't be that bad (just not auditioning for Masterchef anytime soon). Rent will need to be required as a direct debit. Some bills included. Any questions please do ask. Kate x

I am mature age with own furniture. Unfortunately my art deco "heritage listed" home of the last 10 years has been knocked down and I have to find a place for myself and possessions. (I can't do without my big screen TV's, computer equipment or 16 drawer office furniture, but can put the rest in storage if need be). I am single, have references spanning many years and would like to view properties pending initial chat/conversation. I would prefer to live quietly in a home with privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Please let me know of a time agreeable to discuss possibilities. Kind Regards, Michael .
Hi! My name is XueEn, 21 this year. I am from Singapore and I'm currently studying in Uni of Adelaide. :) I’m pretty neat and tidy. And will be out of the house most of the time cause my classes run till 6 pm. Currently unemployed, but I am keeping a lookout for part-time jobs. I’m currently staying in Prospect whereby the rental is $180 per week (w/o bills inclusive) and it is kinda expensive for me. Hence, I am looking for somewhere between $150 per week (w/o bills) or $180 max (w/ bills inclusive). :) I'm currently sharing the house with 2 other girls and would like to keep the number of roomies to 2 as well, as I need a quiet zone to study. :) If you are someone who is coming to Adelaide soon (around September) and looking for a place to stay, do drop me a message! We could probably get our own apartment to share as well! :) I'm quite outgoing once I get to know you :) Also, it will be great if my boyfriend is allowed to stay over when he visits! It's usually about 1-2 weeks long and we won't get in your way as he is pretty shy about meeting new people! Hope to hear from you (my potential roomie!) :)
Hi, my name is Anneke! I work full-time in marketing in the CBD. I currently live by myself, but my lease is coming to an end so I’m looking for a short term (at least 3 months) arrangement. I have two indoor cats, but can provide rental references for them if required. I am a mature, tidy and respectful person. I don’t mind hanging out but I’m also mindful of other people’s space. I’m a vegetarian and I love to cook as well as bake. When I’m at home I’ll either be reading, watching a movie or TV show or I’ll be on my computer. Location is reasonably flexible as long as it’s close to the city with easy public transport links. I look forward to hearing from you! :)
I am an overseas students who has been studying in adelaide since 2015. I am currently doing my 1st year of uni and studying a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Adelaide. I am a languages lover and can speak three language fluently and learning my fourth at the moment. I am a current member of the University of Adelaide soccer club also. Currently I am living out of home and have experience paying rent and contributing to a household.
Hi! I’m Skye, 28yo vegan (non judgey kind). I am currently finishing my second degree in media. I like to spend my time outside as much as possible, so a patio/covered outdoor space would be ideal, a garden would be amazing!! (I have an outdoor table that seats 6). Yes I am a smoker (rollies) but am very considerate of others. I have an invisible illness (mainly migraines and fatigue) which means when I am unwell I will keep to myself otherwise I am normally a very social person and make friends easily :). I am a bit of a nerd 🤓 admittedly but I also Love playing board and card games, I am an avid tea drinker, book reader and enjoy the occasional cocktail. I am very clean, especially with bathroom and kitchen (hygiene!). I have a cat named Barry White (more doglike than cat, always wanting cuddles and attention from everyone he meets), who I adopted from an animal shelter. He is completely housetrained and up to date with fleas and worming, but he doesn’t have to come with me if no pets are allowed, my parents secretly want to kidnap him anyway :) . I have lots of clothes which I will be happy to share :) along with kitchen appliances, gaming consoles, Apple TV etc... Have own furniture if needed to fill a house! Please feel free to ask any questions :) text is best
Hey my names Luke, I’m 31, employeed full time in the CBD and currently looking for a place to stay. I’m a near and tidy person who is happy to help out, I love to cook and learn new recipes. I’m not into partying or going out on a bender etc. I am into movies, games and spending time doing fun activities with mates that are more social. I have a Ute and a motorbike, I use my motorbike to commute mostly (even in winter) and would require off street parking for the bike. I’m a fun loving and easy going person who respects other people’s space and boundaries. If you have a dog that would be a huge plus for me haha. Anyway if you need to know anything else please feel free to message me 😁

I currently work at Adelaide Zoo and am looking for somewhere to live in the Eastern suburbs as I am in the recruitment process for a possible role at Monarto Zoo yet currently live 2 hours from there. If I was fortunate enough to be offered the position my approximate start date would be the 17th of September so would be looking to move a few days prior. Please only contact me if these timing restraints are of no issue! I will need a fully finished home also as I won’t have furniture to bring with me. I enjoy living in a tidy and clean space. I love to cook a variety of meals which I’d be happy to do with other housemates. I have a great love for animals and all types of music. Really keen to look into any possible rooms for rent in these areas of the Easterns/South Eastern Suburbs so please don’t hesitate to contact me :) Thanks, Stella.

I'm a 24 year old arts adminstrator who would always keep the fridge stocked with beer. I work 9-5 at the Adelaide Film Festival, so I'm generally out of the house during the day. I enjoy chilling out with dinner or a drink in the evening and on weekends. I do a lot of writing outside of work, I like to cook (trying new recipes all the time, and I've not had any complaints on my cooking yet), and I try to get out on the weekends to do a bit of hiking or go to the beach (whichever is seasonally appropriate). I'm looking for a mellow kind of household, preferably close to the city, with great, accepting housemates :)
