The house is a cute cottage-style semi on the West Marrickville/Dulwich Hill border! It's cosy with floorboards, rugs and warm wood features but still big enough to not feel cramped when we're both at home doing our own thing. I love it here. I've made the house homely with lots of plants and art. It's fully furnished but as I haven't lived here super long I'm still in the process of getting some kitchen furniture. There's a spacious fridge and plenty of kitchen shelf space for your food. Re: physical accessibility the house only has four steps - up to the front door. It's single storey. Good coffee, grocery shopping and transport is only a short walk - not a hike or a drive: Three minutes walk to Dulwich Hill shops. 500m to Dulwich Hill train station and light rail. Frequent buses to and from the CBD and Newtown (423, 426 etc.) are one street away. The room is UNFURNISHED and has: North-east-facing newly painted window and brand new flyscreen. Awesome almost-floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes (1/3 doors are mirrored). New flooring, not carpeted. The curtain pictured is totally optional. I keep on top of the cleaning. The kitchen and bathroom aren't new but I keep them clean and uncluttered, which means I pick up after myself and scrape and wash my dishes within a same day turnaround - and ask you do the same.
