I'm pretty easy going, clean and social. Looking for a place with people who want to hang out with their housemates. Originally from Hobart and moved to Launceston for work. I'm an engineer but I also play football and row.
Irish zoologist studying frog buddies in Tasmania and looking for somewhere to curl up when not chasing the small animals around various forests. Easy going and tidy, enjoy watching objectively bad tv with a glass of wine when the opportunity arrives. Love exploring on the weekends and will have a car and be open for company if there are takers. I have two small friendly birds Russell and Bromley tagging along for the adventure. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
Originally from Queensland, I am currently in the Philippines, returning to Australia at the end of May. I'm looking for a room from June until the start of October when I plan to head back south to spend the summer working in Antarctica. Although I am currently not working, I have sufficient funds to cover my expenses and will be looking for some casual work for a few months. I am generally a quiet person and enjoy my own company a lot of the time. I am very easy going and open minded, considerate of others and like to keep my living space neat and tidy. I also enjoy sharing a few cold beverages with a small group of like-minded people. My hobbies include going to the gym and reading and I'm a bit of a sci-fi nerd.
We are looking for a friendly housemate for our bright and sunny home in Launceston. The house is in a fabulous location, close to the centre of Launceston - only a 10 minute walk into the CBD and 5 minutes from the Launceston General Hospital. Comes with central heating, walk-in pantry and clothes drying machine. No garden maintenance required as the landlord pays for a gardener to come about once per month. There is free street parking as well as a covered carport. Please note free-standing hanger and wooden chest of drawers featured in room photo come with the bedroom.
Our current housemate Grace is moving to Melbourne on the 23th of June, so we are looking for another cool person to live with us! Ideally, we are looking for someone aged 23-33 who is a professional or uni student, but will consider others. You'll be living with one guy and gal who are quiet and super friendly and like to keep the place clean and tidy. Ideally we are looking for someone who is staying long term who is looking to make the place a home for themselves but will consider short term of at least 3 months. This isn't one of those dodgy share houses that rents out every room to make a buck, this is our home and cleanliness, privacy, safety and respect are very important to us. After having a bad housemate in the past we are very picky about who we accept. Down to business: *Rent is $140 a week this includes your share of the bills like electricity and internet. *Bond is $440. *The House is located very close to the city within walking distance to the LGH, central CBD, supermarkets, cafes and shops. *The room comes with a small desk if you need it left by an old housemate. *100 Megabit, unlimited NBN Fiber Internet WiFi (The best you can get) *You'll have access to the massive media server with oodles of tv shows and movies. *Off street parking space with CCTV. *Air Conditioning/heater, washing machine, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, TV, microwave etc are all provided, so you'll just need to bring your bedroom/bathroom bits & bobs. *House is very low maintenance, with a deck, and plants in the backyard. (no grass) *No pets sorry. *SMOKE & DRUG FREE HOME. If you smoke at all, don't bother contacting us. *No couples. Feel free to DM me, with my name I shouldn't be to hard to track down!
The top room and sitting room are available for rent and there is a huge back garden with off street parking and 2.5 bathrooms. It's fully renovated and is right bang smack in the centre of town with every convenience walking distance. House is old but renovated and has great amenities. I will also be living there and running my home office from downstairs 3 days a week as an art dealer.... The house is in the cafe precinct near Burger Got Soul. Please ignore that furniture in the pictures, it's all gone and I have much better taste! A bit about me, I grew up in Sydney and have been overseas for 8 years living in New York and Paris. I have made a bit of a funny leap and decided to live in Launceston because I just love the town and I have family down there. I am an art dealer by profession and am looking to run my home office out of the house there. I have owned a restaurant before and am very passionate about good food and wine so there will always be plenty of delicious things in the house. I can also promise good decor and art on the walls! I am looking to rent out a room in the house to help subsidise the rent. It's a massive house with heaps of gorgeous original features. Rent is totally negotiable depending on if you need two rooms or one...
This home is only a 10 minute walk to the city centre and just around the corner from supermarkets and cafes. The bedroom is spacious which is fully furnished and also has a heat pump included. All equipment for a comfortable stay is available to use e.g: Kitchen ware, towels, bedding, washing machine, tv, wifi, outdoor area with seating. It is a welcoming home, we want you to feel comfortable with having visitors over. You will need to expect to fill out an application form through the real estate, mostly for insurance purposes (in case of any issues) Wifi is split per month. And the power bill will also be split depending on the cost at the end of your stay.
I’m a 24-year-old girl from Denmark. I’m great to live with, cause I’m a very smiling, happy person. I love to socialize, but I also respect privacy and enjoy time on my own. I dance in my spare time and perform In musicals. I like to cook, I clean after myself and I make a great blueberry cheesecake.
My name is Sam. I am currently based in Sydney and am looking to move to Launceston mid July. I love to cook and have a wine after work.

I’m pretty 100% sure I’m the funniest bloke you’ll meet, I’ll hardly be home cause I’ll be out partying or working but when I am home I am am pure entertainment when I get comfortable infront of people, thanks for coming xx -the 100 dollars a week is what I’d like to pay individually, the rent could be up to 300 but I’d like to chip in up to 100 a week, once again, thanks for coming x
Hi I'm Jorgia. I recently got a new job as a waitress and now looking for a place to stay in Launceston. I’m clean and tidy, can cook (a little). Have good sense of humour, laid back and easy to get along with. Would rather live with someone or people around my age. If you have pets I will give them endless amounts of love and affection!
Currently I am working in Devonport, full-time as a graduate accountant. I am financially responsible, tidy, friendly/respectful with pets (if you happen to have one). I grew up in Devonport, but have previously lived in Launceston to complete a degree in Business/Commerce at UTAS. During that time, I had lived independently - passing room inspections, paying rent/bond & sharing common areas. When I move to Launceston, I will be working full-time in the city from Monday to Friday. My move date is around the 9th of June - but would be able to potentially sign earlier I would prefer to live with people my own age
Hi, this is Gulnaz here. I am from India and I will be joining UTAS in July hence looking for accommodation from 2nd July onwards. I am a kind and calm person. Will not be a much bother to others. I prefer cleanliness and I am very adaptable. Looking for female roommates, location preferably close to UTAS-Launceston campus. Thank you :)
Just finished making some good wine in Mudgee, now off to Tasmania for Dark MOFO and some pruning. I enjoy art, music, cooking, wine - of course. I enjoy good conversation but also love my quiet, personal time. Looking for a warm, cozy place to come home to with reliable internet near the vineyard just north of Lebrina. I'm fine with living in Launcestion... I've been rural for a long time so ready to be social again! **Dog in photo not with me
