Enjoy the comfort of a north shore lifestyle. Located only 15 minutes by car from the Sydney CBD (of course a bit longer just like the rest of Sydney in peak hour traffic!) and surrounded by state forest, you can escape work to your own leafy hideaway. Lots of scenic walking tracks, great cafes in nearby Gordon and St Ives and not too far for a trip to the northern beaches. For those who like to shop or go to the movies, Chatswood Chase is 7 minutes away and Macquarie Shopping Centre is just 10 minutes away. It's not hard to get into the city with both the Killara and Lindfield stations close by. This is a clean, well maintained home waiting for a new flatmate just like you! The house has a pool for the summer months.
Hmm... What to say, what to say... I am a 32 years old jewelry artist. I am invited to Sydney by an art school to teach, share my knowledge and see Australia at its best. I don't smoke, I don't drink. What I do: I drive a motorbike, observe stars, take interest in astrophysics and philosophy, play chess, listen to hard rock, run everyday, listen to people, think, sculpt, paint, draw, read, do other artsy stuff... I am easy to live with and very respectful. Sometimes I tend to be quiet, sometimes chatty and from time to time I need my space, as all introverts do. I love animals (except spiders....). I will land in Sydney on the 2nd February 2018. This will be my first time in Australia. As I come from Poland (and it will be full winter time in Europe), I am slightly considered about the weather in Sydney.
I'm friendly, clean and respectful. I've been living in Sydney for the last 3 years and have always shared either my room or my apartment with someone. I work full-time hours so won't be at home that much. I have quite a busy life but would love to catch up over the weekend. I would love to get along well with my flatmates. I might be quiet and private at first, but can be really talkative if we hit it off. Also I'm looking for a place in the mentioned areas that are within walking distance from the train station - as I personally hate taking the bus.
My partner and I are looking at moving to Sydney at the start of February. Currently we live in Melbourne. I will be doing a master's program at MQ uni and teaching ESL part time, and my partner will be working part time. We are looking for a quiet studio or granny flat.
Hello! I'm a lithuanian studying in Norway and taking an exchange semester in Sydney (Macquarie Uni). I'm very social, love to travel, meet new people and socialize. Im okey with living with everyone, had all kinds of flatmates through times... During my free time I enjoy exploring the surroundings, playing sports and cooking :) I am currently travelling through Europe and in the end of January I will come down to Sydney. Ideally I would like to rent a place from the end of January/beginning of February, but I'm open for all suggestions :)
Hi! I am from the Central Coast and looking to move to Sydney in February. I am currently studying full time at Macquarie University and working part time in Chatswood on the weekends. I'm pretty busy so I'll mostly keep to myself, but would always be down for a sneaky wine/Netflix binge/housemate hang. Very tidy and clean, non smoker, no pets, no boyfriend. Spend most of my time studying and working, but love to spend my days off with friends exploring and splurging on brunch. Not a huge partier but do enjoy the odd night out. Super easy to live with, would love reasonably social housemates who are always keen for a laugh!
I am a very tidy, respectful person. I currently hold two jobs so won’t be there very often. Mainly to just sleep. I enjoy the outdoors, personal fitness, cooking and have a passion for sports. I am very respectful of personal space but am also very social. Hope you hear back from you :)
Clean, tidy, work 60 hours a week. mostly keep to myself with studying in the evenings but do like to have a conversation. Weekends I like to surf or go see friends. Friends and acquaintences say I am easy going and make them feel comfortable.
Hi I'm Lilly, I'm 23 and moving from Melbourne to start med school at Macquarie Uni. Very excited to move up to Sydney! I'm very neat and clean, love to cook (particularly like baking!) and love all things brunch/cheese/wine related. I like being social, having a chat and spending time with friends but am also quiet relaxed. I love my down time reading and watching Netflix and I'll probably be studying a lot this year. Uni starts on the 26th of Feb, so while I don't know a definite move date I'd like to settle in around the 17th. Ideally would like to live with people I can be friends with :) Please email/text me
My name is Cristiano, 37yo, I am looking for a single room. I work part-time as traffic controller and I study part-time as well. I friendly, quiet and organized person.
Hi all! I've just graduated high school on the North Shore and am really interested in sharing a place at the beginning of next year until I start uni in 2018 or 2019. I'm really easy to get along with and am very independent. I also love animals so i'm more than happy to look at a place with animals. I love being outside or at the beach and then winding down in the afternoons. I have a part time job at a child care centre on the North Shore and looking for another part time job during the day. I do have a boyfriend/best friend who i'm looking at sharing a place with, so if you're open to sharing a place or teaming up with a couple that's also great! If you'd like to know anything more, simply send me a message! :)
I'm looking for someone similar to my age, lifestyle - I am a white collar middle management city yuppie with my office based in the CBD, I wake up around 5-6am to run and go to bed quite early most days. I train to work, prep my own meals, dont smoke or drink, and like to keep the place quiet, clean and in order. Most of my off hours I spend reading, researching at home, music, sometimes exercising or the occasional catch up with friends.
Social but enjoy own space too.. Enjoy a BBQ and outdoors. Ex Pat from Oregon / US and lived on North Shore for almost 10 years. Very fit and active - Enjoy Tennis, All Water Sports including Scuba Diving, Basketball Coach & Masters Hoop player... Family man but Single now as my Teen Daughter lives with her Mom.. I would be away 2 weeks per month either on business & not around in evenings much as usually out visiting during Dinner Hours with Daughter. Looking for accommodation to suit, very handy on all interior and exterior home repairs if at any time required as well for any type rent compensation and enjoy yard work very much as green thumb too - but entertain all offers on a place to call home for a minimum of 3-6 months.
I'm pretty easy to live with. I am a nerd and love movies, tv shows, games and comics. I'm single, not particularly fussed about relationships. I'm religious but my thing is that it's to each their own so don't worry if you're not or a different faith, I don't care. I work full time on the edge of Crows Nest and North Sydney. I love a good laugh and a good book. My current ambition is to learn Auslan. I'm looking for a home. Somewhere that I feel comfortable in the common areas, not just hidden away in my room. I have lived in share housing/on my own for 7 years now and I have accumulated some of my own furniture namely a bed, full sized fridge and bookcase. If I can’t bring these items with me, I might not be a good fit. I also have a lovely Kia Rio I bought last year so I would prefer an off the street parking space for her too. I’m very open to starting a new share house so feel free to contact me about that! Want to know anything else, just ask!
