Almost everyone will say Marley (my Labradoodle) is the best thing about living in this property. She's very well behaved and doesn't malt or have that dog smell. The townhouse has it's own plunge pool and two living areas. It's backyard backs on to East Point Reserve for those who love to go for a scenic run/bike/exercise. The house is fully furnished and the room available has a queen bed, built in robes and tallboy if required. You'll share the main bathroom but it's large and has his & hers sinks. There is also a 3rd toilet downstairs. It's a very modern townhouse with lots of space and well equipped kitchen for those who love to cook. Rent is $250 pwk + $60 pwk for bills (weekly cleaner, internet, pool cleaner, Netflix, Stan, Foxtel Now, Spotify and power bill) + 2 wks bond.
We live in a beautiful faux troppo house in Fannie Bay, Darwin. The house is on an overgrown, jungle block of land and takes the form of different bungalows- the kitchen and two bedrooms (one where you'll live) are inside. Three other bedrooms are outside. Everything is joined together by a wrap around verandah. We have a pool too! East Point (beach) is less than two minutes walk from our house, Darwin CBD is a short bike ride away and we're within walking distance to things like Parap markets, MAGNT, all of the clubs along Vestey's beach etc. Amazing location. You'll have your own bedroom (with aircon) and bathroom while you stay here. It's a shared kitchen and living space.
***viewings this weekend. Please text to make a time*** One room available in a beautiful private unit in a quiet area, with facilities and water views all within walking distance. All rooms have new aircons and the unit is completely furnished but can be unfurnished if that's what you're looking for. NBN internet and someone to take care of the spa maintenance on a regular basis.
I have recently relocated to Darwin for working looking for a new place to call home. I am easy going, tidy, active and like to look after myself however I love a wine or two on my days off. I would love to have a happy house hold that I can be social with, I love to cook and share that with others. I'd love to find a place near the water and totally fine if a housemate happens to be a dog.
I have been sharing house a long time so understand how to respectfully share space. I'm clean, tidy, work long hours and am not into the party scene so am quite easy going.
I am a married, working on a long term contract in Darwin while my wife continues to live and work in Brisbane. I am health conscious, a reasonable cook, physically active and fully fit, but do enjoy an occasional beer or wine. I am self-sufficient, helpful, well organised, like to keep things tidy, am a reasonable handyman, and use either a bicycle or my motorbike for transport. Happy to meet prospective housemates to establish the likelihood of compatibility.
Hey! I'm a happy and upbeat person looking for an easy going crew to call home. I enjoy hiking, travelling, cooking, music and live gigs, playing average guitar and doing all kinds of fun things with my dog Dré... he's a 7 year old chocolate lab and arguably a better flatmate than me (if you count cuddles and a special welcome home everyday). References of good boy behaviour (and general awesomeness) are available from current flat mates and landlord. Oh yea and they will say I'm cool too :p Require Furnished. Lastly, I work as an IT Vendor Manager.
Hey, Just finished uni and moving to Darwin for a new adventure at the end of February. Looking for an existing share house with a bunch of cool, social, fun but clean housemates...I’m after a social house but not a party house. I’ll be working full time at the hospital as of March 5. I’m super active and always up for adventures! Georgia
Hi! I'm moving from Melbourne to Darwin for work in the New Year, so am putting the feelers out now for potential roomies. I come with a chill cat, she basically just likes to lie around and eat. Kinda like me :P Am house trained, can clean, pay bills and rent on time. I like a house which is social, but also like to do their own things too. You know, shared dinners and drinks on occasion. I guess I'm pretty normal :) Happy to look at a team up also. A place which is already mostly furnished would be ideal, but am happy to buy some bigger house items if required.
Hey guys, My partner Aaron and I have been living in Darwin for the past 2months and are loving it here! We are just about to housesit a colleague's place for 5 weeks until mid November and are looking for a place to jump into short term after that until Christmas. A little bit about me: I'm a lover of the outdoors, camping, hiking, sports, getting together for dinners with friends, love a good cook up, and chilling out. I'm in my late 20's and work as a physio. My partner is a crazy surf addict (not the best hobbie when living in Darwin). He loves playing all kinds of sports, eating good food and loves just chilling out too. He's works full time as a Mechanical fitter so is up early and home late. We both make an effort to keep a clean and tidy house and are super respectful of others space but also up for a good chat if others are up for it. If we sound like someone that might fit into your house and if the dates suit let me know. Thanks, Missy
Darwin local, full time professional monday to friday, looking for mid to long term stay around city area. Keep myself pretty busy after work with sports and activities, always looking to meet new people and try new new things!
Hello! I have recently moved to Darwin for a permanent professional role in the city. I am looking for a place in a nearby to the city. I do not have a car, therefore close proximity to a bus stop is paramount. About me - I am easy going and friendly. I am generally very clean and respect house etiquette. I enjoy catching up for drinks after a long week of work, although I am not the party legend I used to be! I love sport/gyming, fishing, exercise, and travelling. Anyone willing to explore the top end would be a welcome help. If I appeal to you, do not hesitate to get in contact. Matt
I am friendly, happy and relaxed by nature. Health professional working full time, preferably looking for longer term stay. I love to socialise and meet new people but also enjoy my own space. I love keeping fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Reliable, clean and considerate housemate.
I’m moving from Hobart to Darwin permanently due to a career opportunity. I lived in Darwin City Aug to Apr 16/17 and loved it. Clean, friendly, easy going, non-smoker. Ideally looking for modern furnished accommodation.
Hi! I'm an easy going lad, relocating to Darwin for work. The work roster is 8 days on 6 days off, so I'll be away more than I am home. I am new to Darwin, so a friendly housemate that doesn't mind including me in the occasional social gathering would be greatly appreciated! At this point still considering both options of joining an existing lease or starting a new one. I am a respectful housemate and expect the same in return - must be gay friendly. I adore my Mazda 6 and a covered park would be ideal, but no issue with street parking. If you'd like to know more, please flick me a message!
Hi I am a friendly, clean and easygoing housemate, I have previously house-shared for the past five years, in both Nanjing and Adelaide (my home-town). I have recently graduated and will be commencing work with the Department of Chief Minister in January 2018. I enjoy having a good chat over a coffee/wine and a bit of downtime reading a book. Also pretty active, mountain biking, and swimming in my free time. I am looking to preferably rent an unfurnished room on a long-term basis and am also interested in teaming up with someone like-minded.
Located in Fannie Bay, this beautiful share is just a one minute walk from the beach and trailer boat club. Situated on an enormous corner block with a well kept native garden and the shaded pool area. The many balconys and living spaces give you plenty of places to chill out and not realise your in a share home. My room is downstairs, I share with one female. We have a kitchen, lounge room and bathroom. Upstairs there are two females and one male, they also have a kitchen, two lounge rooms and two bathrooms.
Fantastic 2 storey, 3 bedroom townhouse in an amazing location! 300m from beach, Trailer Boat/Sailing/Ski Clubs, walkable to Parap Markets, 5min drive to the CBD. Bright, open plan place with nice big courtyard AND A POOL! Other normal stuff: air con, unlimited internet, fans, dishwasher etc. House furnished but room not (though the departing flatmate has an amazing quality mattress to sell). I'll post furnished photos in the next couple of days. Importantly - there's also an attention seeking indoor large dog which is the best part of the house :-) Car park is on the street, but in a really safe neighbourhood and plenty of space available. Hence the reason for extremely low rent price for this sought after area! I'm really flexible either way. Because there's a spare room, I'm also pretty flexible about the move in date over the next month or so.
