Hi there! My name is Phoebe - Im a 22 year old journalist who is about to start casual work with the ABC in Darwin from the 25th of January onwards for roughly three months (but possible for six). I like reading, watching documentaries, listening to podcasts, going to art galleries and markets, cooking delicious dinners, basking in the sun, learning languages, staying up to date with politics and current affairs, going for walks and enjoying a beer with friends as the sun sets. I am a very clean, considerate, respectful and tidy person. Having lived in share houses for the past 5 years, I am well versed in what it means to be a good flat mate - always considerate, cooperative and respectful while also contributing socially to the house when need be. I love cooking for others and often made dinner for my housemates in previous sharehouses a number of nights a week. I'll be working part time at the ABC during the week and also intend to get another casual job so my week is filled with working hours. Should you like the sound of me, I'd love to find out more about you/your property. feel free to send me a message or give me a ring for a chat. Cheers!
Hey guys! I'm Peter! I've just moved up from Adelaide to the amazing NT! I've visited before a few times, but I decided that I just couldn't get enough of the place and so I've accepted a 12 month contract and moved up here! I know, crazy, right!? I'm an actor/comedian, but I work primarily with sick kids in hospital and in communities. So it's a bit of an interesting job.. I've been doing that for the last 6 years or so. I've lived in several different share houses over the years, and I'm happy to send through references etc. if you'd like that too. I'm a fairly clean person, and I like to stay organised as much as I can, but I won't faint if someone left the sugar out or something.. Well.. there was this one time.. ha! Anyway.. I can be a fairly social kind of person, and enjoy good food, meeting people and having a beer with friends. That said, I also love chilling out and keeping to myself at times, I feel like you need to strike that balance a bit. I'm looking for somewhere that is relaxed and fun to live, I don't need huge amounts of space, or anything too fancy, but a nice roof over my head and some cool people to occasionally hang out with woyuld be the best! If you'd like to know anything else, just let me know! Cheers guys, Peter
Hello! My name is Eleanor and I'm looking forward to moving to Darwin at the end of January. I will be working full time as a doctor at the hospital for six months and am hoping to find a share house to call home. I am very well accustomed to share house living and have always had great relationships with my housemates. I would always hope to be good friends with anyone I lived with and to contribute to any house I join in a positive way! I love spending time with housemates, sharing delicious dinners and chatting over glasses of wine, but am also very easygoing and self-sufficient. I'm very clean and tidy and I love to cook! I also love hiking and the great outdoors and am looking forward to the chance to explore the beautiful national parks around Darwin.
Hey I moved up from the Gold Coast, I'm 27 from New Zealand. I'm easy going, fun, enjoy the out doors and keeping fit. I'm chilled out during the week going to work, gym , and soccer training. I'm clean , tidy and respectful other house mates space. But I'm always for a chat too. If you would like to know more please send me a message. cheers
Hi! I'm moving from Melbourne to Darwin for work in the New Year, so am putting the feelers out now for potential roomies. I come with a chill cat, she basically just likes to lie around and eat. Kinda like me :P Am house trained, can clean, pay bills and rent on time. I like a house which is social, but also like to do their own things too. You know, shared dinners and drinks on occasion. I guess I'm pretty normal :) Happy to look at a team up also. A place which is already mostly furnished would be ideal, but am happy to buy some bigger house items if required.
Hellooo, I am 26, I have just finished uni and I'm moving to Darwin for a new adventure at the end of February. I am looking for an existing share house with a bunch of friendly, fun, social, yet clean housemates. I am not a hermit, I love being social on weekends and going for dinner, walks, trivia and beers at the pub, or chilling with housemates at home through the week. That being said, I'm not after a 'party house' either. I will be working full time at the hospital as of March 5 and will be arriving in Darwin around the 26th of February. I'm very active and am always up for an adventure. I love being outside, love road trips, exploring Aus and I've travelled heaps worldwide - love making holiday plans. I'm looking for a home that will be full of laughs and housemates who will hopefully become friends. If you have a room becoming available around the last week of february and are a great bunch of people, don't hesitate to get in contact. Georgia
Just finished psych degree and starting an internship. Hubby staying in Katherine but fur babies will be visiting on weekends and possible stay overs when husband travelling with work. We both play golf and love cycling.
Hey! I'm a happy and upbeat person looking for an easy going crew to call home. I enjoy hiking, travelling, cooking, music and live gigs, playing average guitar and doing all kinds of fun things with my dog Dré... he's a 7 year old chocolate lab and arguably a better flatmate than me (if you count cuddles and a special welcome home everyday). References of good boy behaviour (and general awesomeness) are available from current flat mates. Oh yea and they will say I'm cool too :p Require Furnished. Lastly, I work as an IT Vendor Manager.
I am a married, working on a long term contract in Darwin while my wife continues to live and work in Brisbane. I am health conscious, a reasonable cook, physically active and fully fit, but do enjoy an occasional beer or wine. I am self-sufficient, helpful, well organised, like to keep things tidy, am a reasonable handyman, and use either a bicycle or my motorbike for transport. Happy to meet prospective housemates to establish the likelihood of compatibility.
Hi! I'm a social worker moving up from Melbourne in late January. I have signed a 2 year contract and will be working between the hospital and the city. I've been in share houses for a number of years now and feel like I'm a good balance of fun and respectful. I love having a wine with housemates and chatting about the day but am also respectful of people's space (and my own!). As I am new to Darwin, I'll be spending a lot of time exploring, so am happy for either another newbie to explore with or a seasoned pro who can advise on all the best places to check out. I am also looking for a fully-furnished room/house. Feel free to get in touch - I arrive in Darwin next week, however won't be needing a place until mid-Feb.

Engineer moving to Darwin for a 6 month work placement. Looking for a furnished room so that my partner can keep using the furniture in Melbourne! Darwin CBD (or close to it) preferred. I’m equally happy sharing a drink on the couch every night, or keeping entirely to myself. I’m planning to have a lot of weekend camping/hiking trips while in town, which I’d also welcome company on. Non-smoker. I have no pets, but I’d love to be around yours.
I currently work full time as a traffic management plan designer on call. i spend most of my time out on the road working, however; when i get time to chill out i like to spend time looking after my place of stay i.e. gardening, pool maintenance. i keep to myself but do enjoy a social drink or dinner and sitting down having a chat about life. i enjoy exercise, watching tv series, catching up with mates when i get a chance and helping others around the house when its wanted/needed.
Hi I’m Jack. I currently work fulltime in the sports and racing betting industry and have just accepted a job in Darwin. I’m clean and tidy, happy to do my share of housework, easygoing and respectful. I love watching sport, mostly American, and love a good feed and a beer. I like to be social but understand the need for privacy and space when living with others. Will be looking for a long term stay as I will be working in Darwin for at least the next 12 months.
Hello! I am moving from Brisbane at the end of January for work as a designer in Darwin City and am after a furnished room within a share house. I am interested in most things artsy, enjoy photography and love to travel and explore new places. I am hoping to find a share house with like minded people who perhaps want to explore Darwin together or like to be social every now and again. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others. Nonsmoker and no pets of my own but not adverse to there being animals. I have a car and would prefer some type of off street parking but I am flexible. Ideally I would like bills included (including internet) however, if not possible I would like to get a general idea of how much bills will be each quarter. If you have a place available for around the time I move to Darwin and think we could get along then please feel free to contact me. I will be in Darwin from around the 30th of January to be able to view places and meet in person.
Hi all, I am a very cruisy Primary School Teacher. I have been in the Territory for a year and loving it. After spending 2017 working on Bathurst Island, I am now moving back to the mainland. I'm looking forward to meeting lots of new people, getting some fitness back and making the most of the spectacular weather. = )
