My lovely housemate is moving out this weekend and I need someone to fill the spare room in my house. The house is located in a lovely, quiet complex in Gilmore. There are several take away food places, a coles supermarket and a gym right across the road. You would be sharing with myself, my friendly boxer and cats. I am a vet nurse so animals are my whole life. The available room is small but big enough to fit a queen bed (squishy but cozy) or a double bed if you want a bit more room. The rest of the house is fully furnished with a fully stocked kitchen. I have unlimited internet, Foxtel, Netflix, Stan which I’m happy to share for a small monthly fee 😉 the only other bill is electricity which will be split evenly. The new tenant must be willing to sign onto the lease with me and pay half the bond ($760). This is a long term rental that I don’t plan on moving out of anytime soon so any length of stay is welcome 🙂 another female housemate is preferred but open to the right person.
Fully furnished bedroom. Great views, unlimited internet, shared bathroom, laundry and kitchen. Close to bus stop and shops . 10 min drive to Kingston, 20 min drive to Canberra. Great for graduates moving for work to Canberra or student. Country living with city benefits. Room available 27 November 2017.
Clean up after myself and come with references if needed. Have done a lot of travel domestically in the last couple of years, and am keen to hear about others' stories on the road. I am into long treks with a backpack. If I say I'll do something, I do it. I have a regular pattern of PT work. Am financially independent, and work in the Volunteer sector because I choose to, not because I have to. I am also an Army Reservist.
I am relocating from Brisbane to Canberra for a grad program, and I am looking for a place to live for 6-12 months. I am a clean and tidy person, who is happy to assist around the house, and I will be moving early February 2018. A little about me: - I am happy to live with pets - I am a non-smoker - Will be moving with some furniture - I enjoy the outdoors, 4WD, and keeping fit - I am employed full-time - My beverages of choice are whisky and beer on the odd weekend
I'm a 27 year old public servant, currently on leave to complete a Master of Social Work but will be returning to full-time hours in January. I have a small dog (Mr Miyagi - a toy japanese spitz) and I am an occasional wildlife carer of pouched joeys. When I'm not taking my doggie for a walk, you'll find me either at the gym; watching Game of Thrones/Netflix; doing a touch of gardening, or baking cupcakes. I would love to share with someone who I could share the occasional movie with, and ideally become good friends. I am reasonably open to location given the right flatmate, but would prefer the south side.
On the last street of Crestwood NSW before Canberra. The home is in a great location. Free standing home with duplex behind. Newly renovated modern home. Fully furnished home, (private bedroom unfurnished) Quite area, 15/20 minutes from the city. Ducted heating and cooling. Carpets and floor boards. Large bedrooms with ceiling fans. Internet, Foxtel and Netflix available. No gardening to be done. Large deck wraps around side of the home, bbq and space to entertain if desired. Parking space available. I have a cat, who is 13 years old and love humans. She does not eat inside and does not have a litter tray and she is outside all day. She is not allowed in the bedrooms and is very quite. No other pets are allowed on the property.
Hi, I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard) for one person that is AVAILABLE from 12 Jan 2018. The maximum people in the house is two - there are only two bedrooms. I have been away often for extended periods (I am a full-time research student) but I should be around more from now. My house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN limited wireless and 4G. There is off-street parking for two smaller cars and on-street parking is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. You've got to be willing to do your bit in the garden - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do it. You must be a clean and tidy person to live with and actually know how to clean (you'd be suprised...!). I prefer a vegetarian household - i.e. I do not eat meat, fish or poultry - but if you do eat meat then you are welcome to cook meat on the gas bbq that is undercover just outside the kitchen door. I do not want more furniture brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. Bills would be shared with my share being based on a pro-rata basis for when I am there i.e. if I am away for extended periods and not just a weekend or week or two on hols. No animals/pets sorry even though I occasionally have my kelpie come and stay. So you will have to like dogs. She is quiet and well trained. Please do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful. And I really do not care whether you are a 'professional' or not - used alone, I find the term pretentious. I am much happier knowing about your interests :-) rather than how you earn a living (and yes, I know they could be one and the same...). I play indoor soccer, run and cycle (as a transport option rather than for fun) and like to keep fit. If you want to know more about why I have a pic of a juvenile Thorny Devil on my middle finger then see my research topic at my uni open access web link at the Fenner School of Environment and Society by doing a Google search. Cheers, Juliana

Hi, I am looking at moving to Canberra around mid to late January to start a full time Nursing postition at the Canberra Hospital. I am a fun, outgoing kind of person who is respectful of others around me and there belongings. I’m a quite kind of person who loves watching tv, catching up on all the sports and don’t mind a beer and a bet here and there. I’m pretty open to who I live with although would prefer medical students or those of the same work profession
