It's a white weatherboard 2 bedroom house in Essendon North, it's clean cosy and fully furnished,it has a nice backyard perfect for a bbq in summer. It's in a very central spot walking distance to shops, cafes and public transport and a short drive to the city and airport. The room for rent itself is a two story room so there's enough room for a lounge room (or whatever you would like to use it for) and bedroom. HI all - Stewart here. I'm a 34 year old Canadian guy, family doctor, gym and yoga goer/athlete, video game nerd moved to Melbourne this year. I currently live in Newport but having to move from current situation as flatmate has family moving in. Work at a clinic in Gladstone park. Very active physically and member of numerous sports teams, have tennis membership at Melbourne Park. Non smoker who cooks and eats healthy, is an excellent cook, and is generally very helpful around the house - good for tall people tasks. Keeps a clean ship. Looking to find a place as soon as possible. Give me a shout back here. Look forward to hearing from you.
I am easy going and pretty laid back but still a bit of a clean freak, so that's a bonus. I work at Melbourne airport pretty much 6 days a week. I'm big into my sports especially basketball and footy. Enjoy a beer with mates and having a good time. Always up for a chat, won't just sit in my room. Currently living with my Sister and brother in-law in Kealba, looking to find a new place or housemate by the end of the year or start of Jan. Cheers. Zach.
Hey I'm looking for a room in the northern suburbs. I'm a 23 yo full time landscaper. I love to socialise but will be very quiet during the week I go to bed at 10 and leave for work at 6. I like to cook most nights and will happily have a beer and a chat. I love sport and music and I get along with most people. Just looking for fun, easygoing and respectful people. Cheers, joey
Hey - I'm Brooke. Mid 20's professional who works full time in the city, I also work from home sometimes due to the nature of my work. I have a dog who is amazing but hence why I would need a house with a yard. She is a golden retriever x poodle and has a beautiful nature - promise you'll love her! Very well trained and well behaved. I am an early bird and love being active so I walk the dog most mornings at about 530am, after work I like to cook, have a red wine and just relax mainly! Would love to live with someone who is laid back, likes a laugh but wouldn't mind a dinner or wine occasionally. I enjoy reading, documentaries, travel and good conversation. Overall I am pretty reserved but love a laugh and good time so would be great to find a housemate who could be a friend rather than total ships in the night! Feel free to get into touch if you want to know more!

Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)

Recently renovated, 2 bedroom apartment. The block is quiet and safe, with only 6 apartments in total, and my apartment is located on the first floor. The apartment is fully furnished, so there is nothing you will need to bring other than bedroom furniture and your own kitchen items - pots and pans etc. I can also arrange a bed if you require. The kitchen features all new appliances - electric stove and oven, dishwasher and fridge, and there is a split system air con in the kitchen/dining area. The apartment also features a laundry with washing machine. Access to Wifi & Netflix. On street parking available (no permit restrictions). The room for rent is shown in the images above - it's currently my study. The bedroom features a window with a view of the city skyline, timber floor boards and built in wardrobe with great storage space (shelves and hanging section). Room size is 2.7 x 4m. Located close to Essendon train station (Craigieburn Line) and the Mt.Alexander road tram, public transport is walking distance from the apartment (10-15min walk approx). There are two supermarkets close by, and also quite a few nice cafes in the area. Rent is $200 per week ($865 per calendar month). Bills are additional and include internet, water and electricity. Bond is one month's rent in advance. The room will be available for a 6-month rental, however, this could potentially be extended once the 6 months is up. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Hi all, I've been based in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast while studying a cert 4 in Interior Design and am now heading to Melbourne to complete a dual diploma at RMIT in Interior and Building Design. I'll be working as much as possible over the summer and I'm looking for somewhere that has people for me to learn about the area from and to have a conversation, maybe dinner and/or drinks but where everyone also knows and respects others space. And, if it's relevant, i'm originally from the UK and 33 y/o - although i'm not concerned with age - some of the most significant conversations i've had have been with people a decade younger and older than me. In my down time I injoy photography, painting, making jewellery, reading, dabbling in yoga and getting out to the beach/forest in equal measures. And of course meeting people, sharing stories & conversations and smiles & laughter. I look forward to hearing from you
