Hi, My name is Pat and my rabbit and I need a place to live. I am open to living anywhere that does not have a cat or dog as I am allergic. That is the only hard and fast rule that I have that I can think of. Me: I am a quiet non-smoker who is generally happy with a quiet night in playing video games or watching netflix. Charlotte: She Is a quiet litter trained bunny who loves snacks and being grumpy. She would live in my room with me. She doesn't chew baseboards, carpet etc. I would be happy to pay a pet bond etc for her.
I am looking for one person to share my 3 bedroom home in Evatt with me. There will just be you and I sharing the house (plus a cat!). I am 40's, single, no kids and work for the Government (I know, something different for someone from Canberra!). Most of the people that have lived with me have been around 30 years old, but I'm happy to consider any ages. The rent is $250 per week, which is to be paid weekly or fortnightly, whichever is easiest for you. The Bond will be $800 and you will need to pay the bond in advance. As a BONUS, the weekly rent price also includes ALL BILLS, such Foxtel with all the channels, Unlimited Fast Speed NBN Broadband Internet, and the entire house is professionally cleaned every fortnight, so you will not have to worry about cleaning too much accept for your own room. Utilities (electricity, gas and water) are also included in the price I will consider two people if they are a couple. The price for a couple would be $290 per week. If you are two friends looking for a place I may also consider filling both rooms to individuals. Contact me if you're two friends looking for a place and I will work out a price. Otherwise, I am just looking for one person to fill one room. Even if you're not looking for a room right away, get in touch, because I would rather have the right person over getting someone in quickly. I am fairly flexible with who moves in, I just want to get the right person or people. The room can either come unfurnished or with a queen size bed, two small side tables and a shelving stand. It is a decent size that easily fits a queen size bed and includes a built-in wardrobe. See the attached photos. The house has two seperate living areas, both with its own Foxtel box, so you will essentially also get your own lounge room with two lounges, as well as a large desk. The bathroom includes both a bath and shower and will be shared only if you're a couple. Otherwise, it's all yours. The house is pretty much furnished but if you have some general furniture as well I am sure some space can be found. The house includes: - 2 separate living areas - great sized very new kitchen with gas cooking, dishwasher and heaps of cupboard space - small easy maintained back yard - an enclosed fairly private court yard at the front - evaporative cooling - gas heating - 2 Foxtel boxes - Unlimited Fast Speed NBN Broadband Internet - plenty of storage space if required - off street parking Evatt is a short drive to the Belconnen Town Centre. There are two bus stops only 100 metres away and the bus takes 15 minutes to Belconnen or about 30 minutes to the City by Express Bus. You can also get a bus to Gungahlin from another bus stop that is 5 minute walk away. There is a local IGA less than 5 minutes walk away. As I said above, I am fairly easy going with who moves in and whether that is one or two people, males or female, I'm not too fussed, I am mainly looking for the right people. Suitable applicants need to be clean, tidy, responsible, considerate and respectful. I also have a cat that basically has run of the house. Unfortunately she is not a fan of other cats or pets, so you will not be able to have any of your own pets in the house. So if you already have a pet, don't like cats or are even allergic to cats then there really isn't much point in you responding to the advert. If you're interested then please send me an email in the first instance and tell me about yourself.
Hey there! I'm Eryn and I'm quite the dynamite gal. I've just completed my Cert IV in Musical Theatre but will not serenade you with broadway songs if you do not wish for me to do so. I'm a pretty arty person and love to draw/get my art on and obviously perform. I'm currently working 3 jobs in children's entertaining/educating and customer experience. I'm a fully grown child and love to watch anything disney (classic and pixar), As a theatre girl, I would consider myself outgoing (but not whack job crazy) but I do respect that some people need privacy/quiet time :) I appreciate the casual wine and cheese nights, although I appreciate the cheese more so than the wine. Let me know if you have any more questions!
I am a part-time Student at the university of Canberra and have been employed full-time in my chosen industry from the past 2 years. I have a 17Wk old Bernese Mountain Dog (Apollo) who is the most laid back bear you will ever meet, he comes everywhere with me (including inside the house) to uni etc and is only at home during the day on his own 3 days a week as I put him in day care :) He is very well behaved doesn't bark, bite but does sleep and snuggle a lot. Ideally I will need to find somewhere that has a decent sized back yard but do not mind if there are other pets as Apollo Loves everything and everyone. Please send me a message, I would love to hear from you :)
room available in McKellar for share accommodation with X2F + married couple (owner), $120pw, includes electricity & water. Quiet conservative study environment no parties, pets or males overnight. Bus stop directly outside house, 5 mins to mall & Uni of Canb, 15 mins to ANU & city.
Hi there, I'm Liza and I'm looking for a long-term rental for 2019. I'm 24 y.o. studying physiotherapy full time at the University of Canberra. I have lived independently in a number of share houses in the past. I'm very flexible and always down to chat/hang out. I enjoy the outdoors, I'm a non-smoker and I'm pretty easy going, tidy and clean. I'm looking to find a place with chilled room mates, close to uni and just general positive vibes. My current lease ends on the 31st of Jan but for the right place I'd be happy to look at starting an earlier contract.
We’re two friends, who enjoy socialising but also respect people’s space 🙂. We’ve lived in sharehouses before so we know the importance of being clean and considerate to other roommates. We have a great sense of humour too.
Hi! My name is Pete and we have one room in our share house in Mckellar, available now. There are three of us currently here, 36(M), 22(F) and 26(F), shift worker/full time workers. The most important attributes we are looking for: - Ease and comfort in communication, share house experience - Able to openly and constructively discuss any issues or home-building ideas - Clean and tidy, and happy to contribute towards the house cleaning roster - Likes veggies, because we grow a lot of 'em! You can be sure to enjoy and expansive variety of garden goods here. Wholesome goodness is to be shared :D The house would suit someone who wouldn't mind the fact that we don't have a lounge room or dominant shared living space - chilling takes place in the dining room and outside (which rocks in the warmer months). There's no air-con or heating, but the house is well insulated. The available room is medium sized and comes with a small built-in robe. The price is $145 per week. Bond is four weeks rent. Internet (NBN) is an additional $20/month each and bills are split evenly. 6 month stay minimum. We have a massive garden and chickens which means eggs and veggies all year round, if you want a piece of that awesome action all you need to do is contribute to the cost of upkeep - in the order of an additional $20/month. Because of our chickens and bunnies, we don’t allow for cats or dogs - sorry! If you would like to come over and check it out, leave me your age and phone number and I will get in touch. Look forward to meeting you! :)

I will have a car, bicycle and some personal furniture including bed, desk & chair with computer, and a 60" Plasma TV. Currently, I am mainly seeking a person for a teamup.

Hi! My name is Monique. I'm looking for a permanent place to live. I'm a young professional working full time in the city. I'm a pretty quiet person, clean and tidy too. I play soccer on the weekends and take my dog out for adventures. Speaking of, I have a gorgeous chocolate labrador named Nala who is 1 and a half years old. She sleeps in my room and loves people and other dogs (and is scared of cats). She spends her days outside but comes in when I'm home (she isn't allowed on furniture though). She is toilet trained and very well behaved. I also am becoming a dog training instructor - nala and I love learning new tricks. I've lived in share houses for the past 2 years and can provide references. I have a boyfriend and we usually hang out a couple times a week. I'm not a party person - I tend to go out to the movies and pub with friends and like to have a fun but pretty chilled time. My preferred moving date is the 18th of August. If you think we might be suitable to team up give us a yell and Nala and I can come out and meet you! If you have any questions you'd like to ask of me I'm happy to answer. Thanks! Monique
I have a room to rent for short or long term stay, suiting trustworthy students and professionals visiting Canberra. The room can be fully furnished with a queen bed. The townhouse is fully furnished, with your own food cupboard and fridge space. There is a little courtyard out the back. TV to share in the lounge room and also a great media server with lots of stuff to watch for your leisure about 6TBs worth. The complex has a tennis court, pool and small gym also accessible to you and lots of parking Florey shops is just down the road and the bus stop is located right at the front of the complex with a bus (315) leaving every 30 mins. Belconnen Mall is a 5 mins drive (or 15 min walk) and the University of Canberra is a 10 min drive. The rent for each week is $150 including internet. This will need to be paid up-front with a $300 safely deposit which covers any damages that may result (but will be returned upon departure).
It's a cute house with a small backyard. Walking distance to the shops and public transport, as well as the lake and park nearby. Fairly quiet street, and the property is off the street, which is great for parking. There's three bedrooms, all on the smaller side. One shared bathroom upstairs, with a half-bath off the kitchen downstairs. Living area is quite large. Internet is already set up, and costs each of us $30 a month. Previous housemate owned a small dog, so pets are welcome.

I have been living in Canberra for six months so far. I work full time with the ACT public service, and am based in Belconnen. I like cooking, sewing, singing, painting, and movies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have a two year old white-and-tabby indoor cat in Melbourne who I am looking to bring to Canberra. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint displaysia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space. I have a tv, freezer, and bedroom furniture, and am happy to provide any other furniture if needed.
24 year old friendly and approachable male Into superhero movies and videogames and love a semi-social environment where personal space is respected but not always a necessity! love a cold beer and the football from time to time and regularly go for hikes and camping in Canberra's surrounding mountains Love a good coffee and greatly enjoy animals and any house with pets would be wonderful! I am very adaptable and am happy to live in any sort of environment Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey! I'm a student at UC studying Secondary Education. I'm a pretty social person but don't mind keeping privacy. I watch a hell of a lot of movies and make a lot of food. I've been living on res (student accommodation) at UC since February and am very keen to move out and into a flat/house. My budget at the moment is about $220 max. Let me know if you're interested!
I'm very easy going. Happy to have a beer/chat/meal but respect others space also. I'm very social but if you aren't I have people and places I can do that also. Pay my bills on time and clean up after myself.
Hey there! My name is Olivia and i'll be moving to Canberra January 2019 to start a BA in museum studies and conservation. Looking for a place just after the New year. Also looking for hospitality work if you know any :) A little about me is that I currently work within the entertainment industry as a costume/props maker. So I spend most of my time sewing/making things. I'll also be moving with my 1 year old cat Lucy, who is very sweet, loves treats and prefers to do her business outside. I have a preference for a house/townhouse rather than a apartment (As my cat prefers to spend most of her time outside chasing sticks and leaves) Looking for un-furnished as I already have a nice bed and large desk i'll be moving with. Location Im looking for a place that will be within bicycle ride of Canberra Uni would be amazing! But I also have a car so not a priority :) Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask :D
Hey hey hey. I'm a full time worker. But I don't work the average 9-5 hours. Start a little later and therefore finish a little later. I'm incredibly tidy and clean. Like to think I am easy going. Can provide a washing machine, fridge, television, dining table and other communal furniture. Not looking to share with more than one other person. Any further questions don't hesitate to shoot me through some questions!
