I am moving to Canberra in a couple of weeks to start a 10 month graduate program with the Department of Human Services. I am flexible with dates of moving in and out. Ideally I would like to rent a room for these 10 months. I'm pretty flexible on locations (and I don't know Canberra that well). I'd like to be able to ride my bike to work in Tuggeranong, and also to be not too far from the 'city.' I am from Sydney, and have recently gotten back from living overseas for 6 months, after having finished a Masters degree at USYD. I am easy-going, clean up after myself, and promise to not play loud obtrusive music and that I'm not a closet-alcoholic. To relax I like to be outdoors, read in a coffee shop, have a drink with friends, cook, and occasionally binge a series on Netflix. I am into environmentally-aware living, veggie-gardening, and am vegan. I can drive but don't have a car, and am planning to bicycle my way around Canberra. Future dreams include travelling on the Trans-Siberian railway, hiking some epic mountainous treks (to be determined), and building my own house in the wilderness somewhere.
I have a lovely fully furnished home with everything available, including plenty of storage and all the conveniences a person may require. The house is extremely large and has lovely gardens in the front and rear of the property. Easy walk to Farrer local shops and Southlands. Bike path and bus service to Woden and city is 2 minutes away. Seeking someone that is wanting a peaceful place to live.
Clean & tidy, quiet, ready for a chat, loves diving. Likes cooking and respect other spaces. Ready to make new friends. Likes to grow veggies!
Room is available immediately! We'll love to have your company! Are you the right person for this house? There is a large living room to watch television and share how your day went. We're looking for people who would like to commit for at least 3 months. Centrally located between Woden and Tuggeranong on the Blue Line Bus Route, the City and ANU is only 20 minutes away with frequent services every 10 minutes. The Canberra Hospital is five minutes away. If you're interested, give me a buzz! (I’m very sorry about the sideways photo but the rotating software doesn't like it!).
Includes, gas, electricity, water charges, Internet and Foxtel. Seeking a clean tidy and respectful person, to share with Owner, and Daughter, who is 20 and a Uni student. Our home also has a Sunroom, studio, outdoor entertaining area with bbq. Share main bathroom. We also have our own studio gym, tennis court and swimming pool that you can use. 2 minutes walk to Mawson shops, bus stop less than 2 minutes from property. Woden is 1.8ks away as is The Canberra Hospital. We both lead busy lives, but ensure our home is kept clean and tidy. We are looking for someone to treat our place as if it were theirs. We have a miniature Schnauzer dog, so sorry no more pets.
Two bedroom apartment available. It is on the door step of Mawson shopping centre and the Mawson Club and on a main bus route. Not far from Woden – would probably be about 5 minute bus ride. The unit has one carport space. One bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a fridge, washing machine, TV. For $355.00. Plus expenses.
Looking for a FI/FO or Di/DO commuter who works in Canberra weekdays and travels back to main residence for weekends I am renting out a room in my house which is located in a very quiet street in South Canberra. I live not far from the Mawson shops and a short drive from the Woden Plaza and Canberra Hospital The room comes with a new double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe. Included with the room is own bathroom and undercover parking. The house is fully furnished and partially renovated with a new kitchen, studio and balcony. I have ducted heating for the winter, air conditioning for the summer and the internet is available Rent is $150 per week, including bills, paid fortnightly in advance. No bond. No lease.
Looking to move mid-late February into either a share house or apply for a 2 or 3 bedroom place and start one up. Ideally have my own bathroom but not essential. Not looking to spend more than $180-200. Please message me with any rooms you have going or would be interested in teaming up.

I'm a 24 year old professional who likes to keep her place nice and tidy. I love some TV after work and going to food festivals on the weekend. Hi there, My name is Nelson. I'm 21 years old and have recently completed a degree in International Studies at Deakin, Melbourne. I am seeking a room for a 3 month period as I will be undertaking an internship with the Australian Institute of International Affairs in Canberra. I'm friendly, easy going and always up for a chat or a laugh. I will probably be focused on the internship predominantly, but am more than happy spending time with housemates and relaxing. I am attentive, clean and respectful, and mindful of others in their own space. I would preferably like a furnished room, or one with a bed provided at least, mainly so I don't have to cart all my stuff up from Victoria. So please get in touch if you have a room available. Thank you.
Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm a 2017 Grad moving to Canberra as one of the fresh waves of public servant recruits. I generally like to chill at home but I'm always up for house dinner nights and cooking experiments. I do like to be as active I can though. I'm a non smoker and not much of a drinker but I do love cocktails and that sweet sweet moscato. I also like to keep a clean house and am always happy to help with housework. I can guarantee that I will always pay my rent and if it helps, I'm a cat person but somehow I'm pretty popular with my friends' dogs. Let's meet! :)

In my spare time I like to play my ukulele (softly!) and go for little jogs/walks, as well as read novels, do handicraft, chat with friends and eat froyo... I'd be happy to share a meal/drink with my housemate(s) every now & then, but since I'm not suuuper sociable you probably wouldn't see too much of me.
