The apartment is a split level 2 bedroom 1 bathroom with living spaces upstairs, bedrooms and bathroom down stairs. It comes fully furnished with a queen size bed and two stacked bedside tables (4 draws in total). The room comes with a full length mirror, built-in-wardrobe and lamp. A set of sheets are included with a doona and pillows. The apartment is just across the road from a bus stop, IGA (with post office), cafe and hairdresser. The Mawson shops and bus stop are just a few streets away, with Woden just 10 minutes down the road. The apartment comes fully furnished with lounge, TV, washer, dryer, dishwasher and other essentials. Bills are not included in the rent are $100 a month, this includes internet, water and power. I also foster greyhounds, so who ever takes the room must be dog friendly. While you are welcome to have people over, I ask noise isn't too loud after 9:30pm on week days just because I get up early.
Hello! My friend Sophie and I have recently rented a unit in Mawson, and are looking for a third housemate. Downstairs the unit has two living spaces, kitchen and laundry. Upstairs are the three bedrooms (the master with an en suite) and the bathroom. The room we are renting can fit a double bed, and has access to a private balcony. The room doesn't have a built in, however the closet immediately outside the room will be available to you.
A great townhouse within a secured complex in the heart of the South. Easy walk to Southlands shopping centre at Mawson as well as regular bus routes, or a short drive to both the City and Woden. The townhouse itself is a two-bedroom, one bathroom place with a contained backyard and 2 living areas. The house is fully furnished apart from the bedroom available for rent. The room is of a reasonable size and can fit a double bed comfortably with bedsides and has a built in wardrobe. There is currently a double bed in the room, which can be left there if you need.
Hey! Ill be starting my uni degree in forensic science and justice studies in August. I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out. I'd be down with hanging around having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too.
Cody and I are just a couple of queers being peers who enjoy living together and are in the market for a different place. We like to play games (Board, Card, Video and Dice!) and read quietly by ourselves. We're firm believers in Taco Tuesday (Or Fajita Friday depending on the week) and don't mind the odd house beer/cider. We're both easy going and low maintenance flat mates, suitable for any environment. Cody loves doing dishes and I clean a mean toilet. Any questions?
Modern comfortable residence with heating, cooling and pleasant gardens. Room available. Plenty of space to access, family room, dining and lounge. Pleasant surrounds with walks and bike riding paths. Near Mt. Taylor, a popular Canberra walk. Great access to all areas in the south side, Tuggeranong Office Park and Woden area including Canberra Hospital.
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly housemate, but I'm not in a rush to move. I would rather wait and find the right person (or people). Planning to stay in Canberra for 12-18 months, then move to Melbourne. I would prefer to pay between $150-200 per week, and live in an inner south or inner north suburb (e.g. Kingston, Yarralumla, Griffith, Lyneham, O'Connor). I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans friendly. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I have a partner who visits once a fortnight, but never sleeps over. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm also fostering a cat for the next few months, and would prefer somewhere pet friendly. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
My name is Lili and I'm an international student here. Currently studying diploma in disability and also working in disability community since December. I moved here last year October. I work everyday. I'm clean and respectful and tidy.
Looking for somewhere to put my head. Head back to Sydney Friday after work and return Sunday evening to start the process all over again. Keep myself busy with learning the guitar and Spanish. I can cook, clean and pick up after myself.
Hi everyone, I am currently looking for a townhouse or unit, from 1 to 3 bedrooms ideally available in Wanniassa or the Tuggeranong area. Interested in other suburbs such as Monash, Oxley and Fadden. I am working full time, very clean, respectful, and non smoker. I am ideally looking for a long term accommodation but would love to start with a 6 months lease to make sure that the place suits me. Please feel free to contact me if you have anything available in these areas. Thank you. Rachel
