I'm mature and professionally focused. I don't spend much time at home but I always clean and pay rent on time. I'm low maintenance, very nice and i'm easy to get along with. I'm fitness focused and am a qualified PT, but I have temporarily left the industry. I work full time in the hospitality industry. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, have a pet or throw parties. My girlfriend will be over some of the time, but I spend most weekends at her house. I know what sharehouses are like, having lived in a few, so i respect peoples space and clean up and do share my part of the housework. I'm also pretty great :)
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra in July for work (I'm an engineer) and am looking for somewhere to live for me and my (very well behaved) kelpie Lenny :) I work full time and like to do things like cycling and rock climbing in my time off. I also enjoy a good movie or Netflix binge, having a drink or two with friends, board games etc. My dog is awesome, well behaved and very friendly, he will be your new best friend if you want one. I'm pretty flexible with location and am open to moving into an established sharehouse or looking for a new rental with someone. Feel free to contact me if you think I might be a good fit!
Large double bedroom available for rent, built in wardrobes with shared amenities. Second smaller room also available, which does not have built in robes but ideal for a single person. The property is located in Kambah, has front and rear gardens with ample space for barbecues and entertaining at the weekends. Plenty of on and off street parking available. The house is fully furnished aside from the available bedrooms, would consider assisting with furnishing for the right person but would need to be discussed. Currently In the house is just myself, I'm a community health worker and so often work long days including weekends. Looking for other people that also work or study full time with a view to staying medium to long term. The house is always kept clean and tidy, everyone expected to contribute to the maintenance of keeping it that way. No dirty dishes left in the sink, unless your mother is taking the second room and doesn't mind them mind doing them for all of us :) Bills to be divided by the number of people in the house. 2 weeks bond required with 2 weeks rent in advance. Must provide 2 weeks notice to vacate.
Room for rent in Rivett in 3 bedroom house, you will be sharing with a 30 year old female and two dogs (sorry no more pets are allowed on the property). The house has ducted heating, air-conditioning in living room, internet, netflix and a huge backyard. The room is unfurnished (please ignore the bed in the pics) but the rest of the house is fully furnished. I am are looking for a female, who is clean, considerate and quiet - would ideally suit female student or working professional. No males or couples need apply. Thank you.
I'm friendly, clean, neat, sociable and respectful of the privacy of others. I've lived in flat/house shares for a few years now and I am now a fully "trained" housemate. I'm working part-time as a therapist and relatively new to Canberra. I have an assistance dog who is ridiculously well behaved. At times, I work from home auditing cases. Please note: I'm only looking to rent as a co-tenant or as a head tenant. I'd be willing to discuss all agreements upfront, even an occupancy agreement with the proviso that I be given a 4 to 6 weeks notice period. Hey guys, the rental market is brutal out there! I'd love to hear from you. In my spare time, I paint and have an active social life on weekends. I tend to go for hikes with my dog, visit friends and I am involved in many side projects that keep me busy. I tend to watch too much TV and Netflix too. I'm looking for a long term stay.
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
Professional working full time in the public service for about 10 years. Easy going and open minded. Prefer somewhere that is on the 'clean and tidy side of normal'. Mostly keep to myself but happy to socialise, chat, or game and share some meals and drinks together.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
Well hello eligible flatmate! I'm Maddy, I think I'm a great catch, do you think you are too? Are you ready for commitment? OMG you are!? I am too! We have so much in common! My lease ends mid May and after 7 years living in North Canberra, I am ready to take a plunge and go South of the lake wall. I would love to meet some new people who would be keen to find a house together that's somewhat cheap but somewhere we can comfortably call home and be cool with decking it out with awful, incongruous decor. I am a 25 yo policy lawyer & freelance journalist. I am a sprinter and somewhat a powerlifter. I enjoy travelling and hiking. I love a drink and watching a respectable Q & A episode or a shameful MAFS. I would love to be friends with my new housemates. If this sounds like you please don't be shy and shoot me a message. Lets get this ball rolling!
I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to work at IP Australia starting in May. Pretty quiet, but looking forward to making new friends. I like crossfit, drawing and dogs.
Hi, my name is Rex, I'm 32 and I work full time as a Financial Systems Consultant in Deakin. I've lived in Canberra since 2000, except for a two year stint abroad in Canada and Scotland. I'm studying my final module to complete my CA, so that keeps me occupied. In what spare time I have I like to learning guitar, play Ice Hockey and catch up with friends. Looking forward to meeting you! Best regards, Rex
I enjoy a chat and some banter but I also like to simply chill/relax on my own. Cooking is something I enjoy when I have time. I also like getting outdoors to do things like bushing walking and socialising. Wholistic health is an interest of mine too. Furthermore, I am easy to get along with and enjoy a good laugh. I am not from Canberra but I have been here a few years. I work in a busy caring field/environment 4-5 days per week in a permanent part-time role, and am planning to resume study in 2019 in addition to this.
I am a working professional moving to Canberra in May. I get along well with people and overall a clean and tidy person. I am looking to house share or flat share and prefer the location is close to Canberra Hospital. Rent can be negotiated.
I am fair enough to do my share of chores, bills and toilet paper runs. I am outgoing and love Harry Potter and all things sci-fi. I can carry a conversation with anyone but am respectful of boundaries. I am Aboriginal. I will answer a couple of questions about that but for the most part, I don't normally discuss it much. I'm looking for a place that is northside as I work this way. People who are similar in age would be nice but I can't live with a couple. Utilities included would be awesome but I just need access to parking for my car. And I occasionally smoke. Mostly at work but never inside.
We are quite and friendly couple, always respect other people. We are also sociable people sometimes love to cook new food and share with housemates but do not like to organise a party often. We always love to see nice and tidy all the shared areas.
Hey I am from the Philippines but i've been working in Australia for almost 2 yrs now. I am a chef based in Adelaide and was recently assigned in Canberra (Woden to be specific) for work. Interests are food, music, movies, little bit of working out. I am looking for a room to rent in Canberra around 2nd week of april, I am bringing my car with me so a parking spot would be needed. I am a easy going person who loves to hang out with friends whenever I have free time but I also value my own private time. I love to cook during my rest day fron work and I really value cleanliness around the house. Cheers!
I’m Nicola, 20, Canberra born and bred, full time working in the public service. I’m a kind, bubbly person always up for a chat and a movie but also do like to keep to myself at times. Would like to be in a house with just a couple of people and pets are and added bonus. Chuck me a message if you think I’d be a great roomie for you! Kind regards Nicola 😊
