New Norfolk is located approx 40 min drive to Hobart City Centre. It has a regular bus service available. You would be sharing with 2 other flatmates aged over 40 so would probably suit a mature person. We mostly keep to ourselves but we would be there for you if you wanted to talk or needed assistance. The house is spacious and over looks the river in a quiet street. Parking is available on the footpath outside the house. We have had no concerns with break ins or vandalism in more than 7 years since moving here. Woolworths Supermarket is within walking distance of home, as is a gym, heated pool and 3 hotels which offer great counter meals. There are lots of walks and parks around our historical town should you like to get out and exercise for free. There is a large fully equipped kitchen available for you to prep your meals. We buy and cook our meals and there is a gully equipped laundry downstairs as eell as a 2nd toilet.
If you have ever watched movies like "The Great Gadsby" and admired the elegant, Art Deco period, then this place is for you. With plenty of space, lounges, and views from every window. This is a place that will captivate you.
I am looking for somewhere to live with my adorable friendly pooch Hank, who is a 4yr Staffy x Jack Russell who I rescued from the RSPCA. I am a friendly, young at heart, very quiet, clean, respectful easy going dog/animal lover and currently working part time (admin/secretary) but moving to full time work after Easter. I also wish to undertake study in the near future. I am financially secure to cover rent etc while working part time. I have recently returned to Tassie after living in Queensland for 6 months or so while caring for my mother who was ill. Hank & I love walking in the bush and dog beach/dog parks. We also love home time too. We are social but not partiers. My main priority is to find a secure & happy place to live for Hank, as he had a bit of a rough time before coming to live with me. Happy to talk to anyone, if we sound like we would be a good fit for your place. (Please note, unfortunately there is no internet access where I am currently staying so I may not respond to a message immediately but will do so as soon as I can.)
We're looking for a reasonable, down to earth place near public transport. We'll be working long hours Monday to Friday and out most weekends. We enjoy the company of our house mates, but if that's not your thing, fret not, we're also comfortable with being ships in the night. I'm into guitar (would love to live with someone who loves their music), sports and anything outdoors. My girlfriend enjoys cooking, photography and outdoors. We have a little pet bird (conure) with us, she's quiet and very entertaining. Her cage is small and we'd like to have her out once a day (within our room and supervised).

Easy going, gsoh, clean, tidy, quiet. Moving back to Hobart after living in Brisbane for years and hope to get a truck driving job based in Brighton. Meticulous in paying bills and rent always comes first. Ride a 900cc motorcycle along with a car so tend to keep active on the weekends and certainly not a couch potato. Would prefer to share with a mature female. Happy to do my share and more about the house, handy at fixing most things. .
Newly built house in a quiet part of Claremont. You will have your own bathroom and most of the house is furnished except your room. The block behind us is still vacant so it is rather quiet.Great view of the Dewent and Bowen Bridge. You also have the sunny side of the house and your own built in wardrobe. This is no party house but won't mind having the occasional BBQ or games night. House is connected to NBN. Internet and various other bills is spilt evenly. (Except rates, etc.) Still needing to fix my fence and eventually work on my landscaping/garden if you'd like to help :) Once the fence is up will look into getting a dog at some stage but for now I'll enjoy the company of the Wallabies. Prefer non couples.
I am a qualified Chef, Baker AND Patissiere. Triple threat i know! I love food (obviously!), work at Mona full time and am looking for a room with lovely people or person to get to know. Ive been known to make a mad birthday cake or meal or two, just saying. What more could you want. I have just moved here from NSW and am looking to live in the west hobart area but would consider anywhere so long as its nice! 😊
Hi! We are a couple from Norway and Sweden that are here on a working holiday visa. We are in Hobart at the moment and are looking for a place to stay for 2 months. When we are not working we like to go diving, meeting people and travelling! We have been travelling for around 1,5 years and its been amazing! Its now time to stop up for a bit to work! We are clean, tidy and always pay our rent on time. Looking forward to hear from you! Cheers Linn & Christian
