I have a friendly and fun personality and I'm easy to live with. I'm pretty tidy and clean up after myself. I'm passionate about art and writing and love getting out and about with my camera. I work in hospitality but aspire to run my own business one day. Like anyone, I love hanging out with friends and do enjoy the odd drink (but not excessively so).
Hey flatmates, We have a MASSIVE room available in our beautiful sharehouse in Gardenvale/Elsternwick. Our favorite house couple has left and we're looking to replace them with an equally as awesome couple who are down to earth, reliable, organised, clean and friendly. The room is the biggest you will get for this price and comes with an adjoining sun room/study/walk in robe...whatever you want! Like we said, our house is bloody beautiful, has a double garage, plenty of on and off street parking, HUGE front and backyards, veggie patch and modern kitchen/bathroom. It's a 10min walk to the station and because its an established sharehouse, we already have everything you need like a washer, dryer, fridges, couch and dishwasher. The room could even be partially furnished if you need! Note: The rent is 174 a week EACH. If you are occupying the room alone, it will be $348 a week.
**ONLY interested in taking on a new lease/team-ups** Looking for a housemate that has flexible move dates, and willing to take on a lease. Having house shared for years I know what the go is, and how to respect privacy and also happily have a movie night or drinks out on occasion, venting about the day or having a laugh! Housemate, like me, you must know how to clean and not turn the house into a party house :). About me: Work Fulltime in the CBD and study part time. I like wine, cheese, going out (like majority of people!) In winter I love going to the snow and I *should* also enjoy going to the gym, more than I have lately haha. I like a positive house with no *excuse me* bullshit dramatics, communication is great and everyone should feel at home, at home. Pretty much ready to find "home" so if you are, shoot me a message. Preference - Female housemates. Cheers Jade
I'm an student/part-time worker looking for adventure. I come from a small city/large town on an island called Victoria. Not Victoria, Australia but Victoria, Canada. I clean up after myself, I wash my own dishes, hell I'll even vacuum and clean the washrooms if I have time because I kinda like doing that stuff. I'm looking to room for at least 4 months in Melbourne. I have 6ish years restaurant experience at 3 different places, and all the stupid drunk stories I can't remember until I get drunk and remember said stupid stories. Cheers, heres to good times.
Hey there! I'm Caity and I'm a 22 year old student looking for a great place to live. I'm tidy and respectful of other people's space, and always happy to help others out if they need a hand. I enjoy swimming, being outside, hanging out with friends, cooking and reading.
Hi All, my housemate's been bitten by the love bug and will be moving out very soon with his wife. So I need a new housemate by 2nd October and I'm really excited about it! Let me give you the Lowdown- I live in a double storey 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom townhouse in Gardenvale that my housemate and I have been sharing for close to 3 years now. The house is perfectly located on Kooyong Road close to the Brighton-Elwood beach front and all transport options- -There's a Bus stop right next to the house with frequent buses to the CBD, Gardenvale Station and Chadstone Mall -It’s a short 10 minute walk (700 Meters) to Gardenvale Train Station -An even shorter walk to the closest tram stop (Tram Route 64) on Hawthorne Road -If you have a car I also have an off street car spot for you The house is amply large with a backyard for entertaining, a fully dedicated kitchen and dining area with a small walk-in pantry, gas stove tops, oven, fridge, microwave, an assortment of small kitchen appliances and sufficient storage for all things kitchen. The laundry is equipped with washing machine, dryer and a sink with storage space for cleaning essentials. There's a living room as you enter the house with a sofa bed, recliner and a home theater. A smaller room in between the living and dining rooms that I use as a mini bar, and a guest toilet. All 3 bedrooms are located upstairs alongside a rumpus area. You will get your own room with built in robes as well as your own bathroom (Sink, Shower and Bath) located right next to your room and a separate toilet a few steps away from the bedroom. Besides a large mirrored built in robe, the bedroom is unfurnished so you can furnish it as per your choice. I use the master bedroom as well as the smallest of the 3 rooms as a Study/Guest room. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and the same size as the master bedroom. The house is fully heated with gas ducted heating, WIFI with unlimited ADSL internet connection and a landline with unlimited local calls to other land lines. The Essentials- - I will be adding you to the lease since the real estate agent requires it, there is a bond amount of $900 payable to me by bank transfer and then I will add you to the Rental Tenancy Agreement with the bond being retained by the RTBA - The weekly rent is $200 payable to me by bank transfer on the 1st of every calendar month totaling to $867/Month - Power, Gas, Phone/Internet and Water bills are in addition to the rent stated above and will be shared equally between the two of us. This is approximately $100-$140 a month depending on usage. Gas bills are higher during the winter months. Your share of the bills are payable to me by bank transfer at the end of every month along with the rent. - I am also happy to share bills for household consumables as I get them for cheap in bulk from Costco - I am ideally looking for a long term housemate so I require at least a 6 -8 month commitment from your side if not a full year to make this a win for both of us - Should you choose to leave any time, I will require one calendar months' notice period or one month's rent if you can't provide the notice. - The bond money will be paid back to you by myself after adjusting the final month bills and arrears if any. The Housekeeping- - I am a neat and tidy person, I put in sufficient efforts to keep the house clean therefore I will expect the same from you as well. - I am not a party animal but I do have friends over for a BBQ or a get together every once in a while and you sure can join in and do the same with your friends. Music and a bit of noise are okay with me so long as you turn it down by midnight else the neighbors will complain! About you- I am looking for a single person (Female or Male) to share the house with me, off course you can have your guests staying in whenever you find the need to. My preference is for someone working full time in whatever it is that you do for a living, just so that I feel confident that the rent and bills will be paid on time every month. Everything else will be just about getting to know you better!
I'm young and enthusiastic about living independently, I have a large amount of experience renting and am just coming to the end of my own 1 bedroom apartment lease. I'm well organised, punctuality means something to me, which means bills are always payed before the due date. Other than that I'm happy to socialise and help keep the place clean, because mess drives me insane.
Hey everyone! Oscar from Venezuela here. 27 year old dude who is been in Brisbane for over 4 years. I will make the move to the great city of Melbourne in October this year. I will be arriving myself in the first place, but my girlfriend, Oriana, 27 year old Early Childhood student, will join me after a month, therefore, we are looking for nice big room to live nice and comfortably. Our budget is sitting somewhere between $ 250-300 p/w and it will be ideal to be located within 10km to the CBD. A little bit about ourselves: Oriana will transfer from a certificate to a diploma in Early Childhood starting from November. She is currently working at Guzman y Gomez so burritos will be on sale! Very tidy and quiet, but also easy going and friendly to talk to :) GOT big fan and very into stretch yoga. Oscar is part-time music producer and part-time food deliverer. He is making the move to the great city in hopes of landing a job in IT and also, chasing his passion which is music. He loves the occasional philosophy talk as he loves reading, but he won't take it to seriously either so no pressure. Needless to say that we are very stoked about this new experience and we hope we can find great people to share a space with :)
I'm planning on moving to Melbourne next year to study a Bachelor of Communications. I'm hygienic, not too loud and have a good sense of humor. I watch Netflix and read books. I'd like to pay max $200 per week including bills and internet.
I am a 20 year old Kiwi who moved here 4 years ago to attend uni. I have a strong sense of humour, LOVE animals, am quiet but I don't mind going out for a drink now and again - not a party animal tho. I am really into art, reading and Netflix, I can make great pasta and can reach high shelves :) Not looking to move until February 20th!
I am a social guy working within hospitality, currently living in New Zealand til the 21st of September. I clean up after myself, am easy to live with and cook my own food. I always pay rent on time and keep to myself at times as well as socialise. I'm from the south of England and have just spent the last year in New Zealand. Australia will be 4th working holiday! For fun I like to play pool, have the occasional drink in a nice bar and meet up for coffee. I also go to the gym and enjoy yoga every week!
I am Originally from South Africa and have been in Melbourne for 5 years, so I still have a heavy accent. I am more of home body than a party animal although I do love a glass of red wine. I am not a morning person - I can't cope without my morning coffee. I am more of a night owl. I am always up for a relaxed night in watching movies or TV series - especially Game of Thrones! Would be nice to meet some new people and I love animals.
Bright and bubbly Yr11 student currently living at home but wanting to move out ASAP. I'm super tidy and polite but would love to live with someone that is able to respect my space and privacy. I will be at school weekdays, working part-time some days and will mostly be out on weekends so you'll practically have the place to yourself! I'm super reliable and trustworthy, I'd also prefer to move somewhere along the Sandringham line as I've grown up in Brighton and would prefer to be close to my friends. I know I'm so young but I'm very mature for my age and just want to live somewhere quiet and stable whilst I complete my VCE. Feel free to message me
Hiya!! We are a couple in our late 20's moving to Melbourne at the end of September from Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for a nice room/home to rent when we first arrive. Ideally for the first 1-2 months while we find something permanent but would consider something more long term if it worked out!! We are both pretty chilled, very considerate, super clean and tidy and pay rent and bills on time. We have been to Melbourne a couple of times but are looking forward to really getting to know what Melbourne has to offer!! I (Jamie) will be starting a new job with a company in South Melbourne, working full time Mon-Fri, Thomas is a musician/producer/DJ and has a few things lined up when we first arrive but given his line of work his working hours are flexible. We are looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, respectful of people's own time and privacy but do enjoy a glass of red wine and good chats from time to time!! (and we are both animal lovers if you have a furry addition). During the week we are pretty quiet with work, the gym and chilling at home. In the weekends we love going out for meals, heading to the beach and when we move exploring our new city!! Ideally it would be great to be near public transport so we can find our way around when we first arrive before we buy a car. Any questions just let us know!! Also happy to Skype/facetime to meet before we arrive! Thanks:)
Wanted medium to large room or bungalow in house, no apartments. Male early 40's, FT hospitality worker, PT musician. Easy going, clean and tidy. Usually fairly busy but also sociable. Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 28 and live a pretty clean lifestyle. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 5yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a longer term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.

I am a 22 year old moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast on the 17th October in order to pursue more career opportunities in design. I am looking for somewhere central and who is willing to accept pets as I have two gorgeous Ragdoll cats who will be joining me. I have been independent since I was 14 and I've worked with my parents before in their cleaning company so I know all about how to keep a place nice and clean.
Me and my partner Stephanie are video game artists, from Melbourne. We are currently looking for a place to stay in the city temporarily, while we look for a more permanent housing. We work in the city and would like to cut down on travel time and cost. We both enjoy playing board games, video games and binging netflix. We're pretty relaxed and get along with almost anyone.
Hi there, We are a friendly French couple in their early 30's living overseas for some times now. I myself lived on the Gold Coast for 3 years as an engineer. Alexandra, who travelled all around Australia 6 years ago, is in the marketing and business development industry. We both spent some time in Melbourne before and we have to admit we really loved it. The place is bustling with a vibrant and diverse energy we haven't seen in any other cities! We left Malaysia where we last lived and we now are hoping to settle down in Melbourne. We love outdoor activities and drinking a cold beer in a nice pub. Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers, Flo&Alex

Hi all, End of lease in November and am dying to move closer to the City and the Beach. I grew up around the beach and miss it quite a lot. Studying finance and economics. Living in Share house so not fussed with living arrangements so long as its near the beach and the city not too far off. Im easy going, keep to myself, tidy and i dont mind noise. I've never missed a payment and happy to team up with anyone. Andrew
We are a chilean-german couple with experience in living in shared flats. We like to socialize with people but also have some time on our own. Normally we like to have dinner together or a beer or a wine, and exchange interesting stories and ideas.
I work full time as an International Marketing Director and Academic Manager of a college in the city and I'm usually at work most days (yes even on the weekends). When I'm at home, I enjoy cooking Japanese food and working on my car. I'm polite, quiet and like a clean, tidy and quiet environment to come home to at night. I lived in Japan for 7 years and speak Japanese fluently and a little Mandarin Chinese among other languages. I sometimes play basketball on the weekends and often go to the gym. I'm looking for something long term and my priorities are quiet, clean and respectful of privacy.
I'm very responsible, i am very clean an organised, i'm also quiet and like to keep the peace with all. i have a little cat tilly, she is a short hair out door cat, she is toilet trained. i work full time, i currently live in Elsternwick, have to move due to owner wanting to redevelop the land. I've been at my current job for just over two years, i work Monday to Friday. i work in the CBD. i am currently single, i refuse to do online dating :) (NO TINDER!!) lol my goal is to save my money and go to University. just me and my little cat and my books looking for a home. (i do have a little bit of furniture, i'm happy to sell or store what i don't need) favorably, i will be looking for some where, that is able to store a few boxes; a shed or storage room. Also a house that has no other cats. An older dog or a experienced family dog, that has had some sought of living experiences with a cat before would be considered. The owners of the property have given me 3 to 4 months, so i can be a little bit flexible. i would rather go sooner than later but i am looking for somewhere to call home, for at least 1 year preferably more
Hey! I'm an Italian-American moving to Melbourne October 5th on a working holiday visa! Looking for a furnished private room and some fun flatmates :) I love cooking, photography, hiking, running, reading and traveling!
Hey! My name is Josh and im looking for a place to live to get away from home, i'm polite, friendly and respective, and don't mind meeting new people. I enjoy outdoor life as much as having some chill time. Not a big party goer but definitely not a square either. I have no problem with pets, or smokers and am happy live with others but am also okay with being by myself.
Hi, I enjoy having a laugh and keeping busy. I'm tidy, clean, respectful and can cook. I also have a Netflix subscription :) I work full time in financial services. Thanks, Joel
Heya, I like to think I'm pretty easy going and easy to live with. I respect your space and understand we all need "me" time but I'm always down for a chat or to watch a movie. I work full time in the city and like to go to the gym before and after work. During the weekend you can either find me having a casual weekend in or out and about with friends especially in summer when I'm usually in the city. I preferably want my own bathroom and a bedroom big enough to fit my bed plus some extras. I ideally want to live with someone/people who know how to treat others and their belongings with respect but also know that it's a sharehouse and not their house and I'm a guest in (issue I have recently had). I'm an keen traveller and always love hearing stories from other people's travel. My move date is pretty flexible. I'm just trying to see what is out there and find the perfect new home for me. I have to give 4 weeks notice at my current place.
