Hi there, A little about me, I shall be continuing with full-time study in second semester and working part time. I'm currently an electrical contractor and will be starting up my own business in Ballarat and it's surrounding areas as I have just newly moved to the area. I do have a senior dog who I love dearly and would only consider a shared space with other dog lovers that would accept her as one of the crew. She's always been an indoor pooch free to move around as she pleases. She is well mannered and friendly. A fenced yard would of course be a must but wouldn't have to very high as she is no escape artist. I do have two vehicles one being my work van that if possible would be great if parked off of the road but not essential at this stage. I am quiet and health conscious , a non smoker and serious about my studies. So I'm not looking for a noisy party house, but a space that is relaxed and respectful. I do like a great meal out and a cold beer at a local bar. Mountain biking, walking and adventuring with my K9 mate are a couple of things I like to do. I'm also fairly flexible with living in most suburbs so long as it is suitable for my Dog. Move dates are also flexible as i don't start study until June, July but would like to get settled sooner. :)
I'm 33 and a teacher. I am friendly, quiet, respectful neat and tidy. I have many household items of my own, including bedroom items, fridge and couch etc. I'm into hiking and other outdoors pursuits and will be away most weekends. I also like to keep busy, go to yoga, exercise classes etc. I have a cat (she is probably best in a one cat household).
After living in Melbourne for the past few years I have decided to relocate to Ballarat for a change of scenery. I have been living in flat shares in both Melbourne and London since 2014 and have even shared a house with 9 other people in the past. I'm social, enjoy cooking and watching Netflix as well as exercising, getting outside and exploring. My ideal arrangement would include eating with my housemates at least once a week but I'm also happy to keep to myself. I come complete with washing machine, TV, TV unit, coffee table and piano. Happy to chip in and buy anything else that is needed. I would prefer not to live with couples or pets. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey, I am 28 years old and about to move to Ballarat for work. I have lived in share houses before so am respectful and clean. I am a social person and like to cook and have a wine but also happy to keep to myself :) Looking to fine a place for minimum 6 months but most likely longer!
Room to rent in a beautiful brand new 2 bedroom flat in North Ballarat, sharing with one other only. The flat is less than 12 months old, has a small outdoor area and has all mod cons such as central heating and a dishwasher and so on. The bedroom is currently unfurnished and has built in robes. It is a large room and would easily fit a queen-size bed. Shared bathroom with a separate toilet. Bills are additional and there is plenty parking on the street. The area is very quiet. Strict no pet policy.
This property is great because it is a well maintained, better than average, big, beautiful old Victorian home with an artistic owner. One of the reasons it is better than average is due to its huge, well designed kitchen. It is set on a double block, with a magnificent garden. My name is Anton, I am the owner and landlord. I restore heritage buildings. My partner Paloma lives here and we have a 19 year old cat. Paloma stays busy bespoking in the den out back. This place would suit a creative thinking type of person who is independent, responsible, healthy and active. The room available is medium sized with classic Victorian features such as a high ceiling, re-made Victorian style cornices and a ceiling rose with a funky red glass chandelier. It is carpeted and has light blue walls. There is an option of furnishings if required of a king single quality orthopaedic mattress bed and an artisan made clothes rack. The whole house is cosy warm and heated with central gas heating with a vent in the room. It also keeps wonderfully cool in summer. All furniture in the main house is provided, as well as whitegoods and TVs in two lounges as well as the kitchen and in a soon to be completed back sunroom with a view of a fernery with tree ferns. The house is established and full of furniture so no furniture other than your bedroom furniture, your linen and your kitchen stuff, please. No extra storage in the house either.
Fully furnished double room available. Central heating and air conditioning. 20minute walk to the main station or just around the corner from a bus stop and cafe. Off street parking. All bills are included in the weekly rent. Comfortable living and kitchen area. Bathroom is shared with one other person who resides at the property on a part time basis
This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located a short drive to the CBD. Within walking distance of a Laundromat, Corner store, Fish & Chip shop and a Bus stop. BIRs included in the previously unoccupied and recently carpeted bedroom. All new Fridge, Television, Washing and Cooking appliances included with Heating/Cooling in a fully insulated house. Internet will be supplied.
This renovated period house is located within walking distance to the CBD and train station and there is a bus stop around the corner on Humffray St North. Start Café is a 3 minute walk away and is definitely worth checking out :) The room is of medium size and large enough to fit a double/ queen bed and chest of drawers. There is a built in wardrobe and you will have access to your own bathroom (which contains the washing machine). Aside from your room, the entire house is fully furnished so no need to bring anything.
This is a modern house which in located in a very quiet and leafy suburb only 5 mins to the CBD. It comes with NBN internet access, central heating system and a fully furnished bedroom. The house itself is fully finished and comes with a washing machine, dishwasher and kitchen cutlery. In short it is a perfect place for a student or a working professional. The room comes furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, study desk and chair, side table and wall mirror. The bedroom furniture can be removed if you wish to use your own. $160/week including water, gas and electricity bills and super-fast NBN internet. Do contact me if you are interested in viewing the place.
Love living here because it's in a nice quiet spot, with only the birdlife creating much noise. It's only a short drive to the cbd/supermarket and Western Freeway. There are two bus lines that run quite close, with the closest stop being about 500m away. The unit is 2 years old so is very easy to keep clean. We have a decent amount of storage in our single car garage. There is astroturf (fake grass) so almost no garden maintenance which is great. The room available nice and bright and a great size, it has built in wardrobes with full length mirrors. Bond is $413. Bills are not included in rent. We have central heating and a split system air con in the open plan living area. We are two students, 29 and 27, I’ve just recently moved into the house and am new to the area, Brooke enjoys catching up with friends, playing volleyball and going for walks. I love getting out and about on the weekends even though at the moment this isn’t happening due to a crazy uni schedule! I love cooking and just getting to know new people. We are both friendly and enjoy a good chat with our housemates but are out and about being quite social also. We are a non-smoking household. We are looking for someone in their 20's or 30's who has lived in a sharehouse before, is social, friendly and tidy. If you are interested to come and check it out/meet us, please send me a text or give me a call. We look forward to meeting you soon
Looking for a MALE flatmate, working PROFESSIONAL/STUDENT. Someone working in HEALTH/MEDICAL would fit in well. $110 rent + split bills. GARAGE parking availability can be discussed. Existing housemates lead very busy lives in healthcare.
Hi! My name is Caitlin. I’m a 21 year old soon to be student, hopefully commencing my nursing studies mid year of 2018. I work as a casual in Melbourne at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and volunteer for Camp Quality, so I would most likely be spending the weekends in Melbourne, unless I’m able to find some work closer to Ballarat too. I love baking and cooking, especially for others. I tend to keep to myself a fair bit, but am also ideally looking for someone who I can share dinner with or a glass of wine. I’m motivated and love helping out others. In my spare time I like to clean, do yoga, read, watch Netflix, and spend time with friends. I’m looking for someone who I will get along with, respect shared spaces together, be able to chat and have interesting conversations with, above all, someone who won’t mind if I have my best friend or sister over for meals sometimes!
I’m a physio moving to Ballarat for work at the start of May. Looking for a place to stay for at least 6 months in a good area. Unfortunately I’m allergic to cats so couldn’t live in a house with one.
This charming property is a lovely fully established home with all kitchen, bathroom and living amenities included. One bedroom up for grabs with a lovely window view, built in bookshelves and a built in gas heater to stay warm on cold Ballarat nights. Furnishings are available if you need them. The house is walking distance to the train station, Sturt street, and the Fed Uni Camp Street Campus. Also not far from supermarkets etc. ideally looking for someone to stay longer term who is willing to go on the lease and happy to share a peaceful home with me.
The location is great ... 5 min walk to train station and 10 min walk to mid city, yet is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There is lovely view overlooking trees, oval and distant horizons. The home is 1940's era, pretty garden, arty and charming. I own 2 cats. My home has a friendly and peaceful atmosphere. The room available for rent is large, has a nice view and has its own heater and plenty of privacy ... it can come furnished, part furnished or not.
Looking for a fully furnished home (with BIR) that is well insulated, close to the CBD and bus route, then try this? House has A/C, Gas heating, Off Peak EHWS, off street parking, solar PV array, NBN internet, Surrounds maintained by the owner. Would suit someone who requires a quiet, peaceful, smoke and pet free environment. Bond and references are required. You only need your bedding and be a person who is clean and quiet. Utility costs are dependent on usage. .
My name is Tori and I’m 23 years old. I currently work two part time retail jobs. I am easy going, open minded and don’t like to take everything too seriously. I love to be social, but that just means I enjoy the company of others whether that be going for a walk, going out for coffee, watching a movie.. doesn’t have to be anything major. In saying that, I am very comfortable in my own company and am super independent. I don’t party every weekend but I enjoy a cheeky drink and night out on occasion, more than happy to drink out of the house if needed. I’m respectful of other people’s privacy and belongings, will clean up after myself and reliable with bills. Let me know if you think I’d be a good fit at your house or if you’d like to team up and find a place! X
