There are so many amazing things about this location. Here are a few. It is near the marina and across the bridge from the ocean. Cheap coin laundry. It is not too close but not too far from Jetty road. It makes the home quiet and relaxing at all times. It is close to the tram, Mc Donald's, the gym, and the airport. There is property maintenance and they really take care of the place. HOUSE IS FURNISHED!! These photos are from before moving in. The room for rent however is not furnished with a bed but only closet and desk.
Hey, I'm Jonny and I'm looking for a room to rent Or to start a new share ideally around Glenelg but anywhere close to the beach would be great. Some of my favourite things are Travel, Gym, Beach and Hiking. I'm clean and always respectful of my fellow housemates! I'm looking to move around late October but dates are very flexable!
Canadian hanging out in Aus for a while longer. Just moved to Adelaide, I work in the wine industry so SA is a gold mine, looking forward to exploring. I like a pretty quiet but social home life and I tend to get on with everybody.
I'm incoming student going to study nursing from February, 2018. I'm finding a clean and affordable sharehouse close to Flinder University. Near by Bedford Campus or Sturt Campus would be both fine, but taking under 25 minutes by WALK to Bedford Park Campus is very important for me. Under 130p/w included all bills would be the best. I'm able to move on 1st of February, 2018. I know It's a bit earlier to find my sharehouse but if you have any idea for team-up or etc, feel free to contact me. I'm a morning person exercising almost every morning, very neat, quiet and have a simple life circumstances. I prefer to live with mutual students or proffesionals rather than relatively young students. I am also a yoga teacher, so I can teach you yoga if you want :D I don't mind if you are having pets, LGBTAQ+ frindly, also I'm okay with couples, but only in case both are mutual ages. If you are vegetarians too, It will be perfect!
- Mechanical Engineering student from the University of Western Australia moving over to Adelaide to study Aerospace Engineering - Currently work as a Bartender but will seek a new job upon moving - plenty of cash saved up to pay for rent/bills etc - Physically active, love basketball and will try out for whatevers going in Adelaide - Can teach you how to surf - I study hard - funnier than your mates - really want to explore Adelaide as much as possible - Have rented before so understand the importance of cleanliness and privacy in a share house - Not picky with people just as long as you never ever do anything wrong, are completely perfect, can dunk and can juggle. - Looking for anywhere around uni really
This lovely quiet two bedroom unit is one of nine units in the block (middle unit on top floor - 3rd floor) in a suburban street, just off Anzac Hwy. The available bedroom (unfurnished) has large BIRs, ceiling fan and carpeted floor. The shared bathroom includes shower, toilet and basin with storage. The lounge is furnished with sofas, TV, polished floor, reverse air-conditioning and ceiling fan. Good size modern kitchen with all appliances, plenty of cupboards and gas cooking. There is a communal laundry at the back of the building, $4 to wash, $2 for drier. There's a bus stop at the end of the street (2mins walk) and takes about 20mins to get to the CBD or 5mins to Glenelg Beach/shops etc. There's a few restaurants/take-away shops & a service station 5-10mins walk away. The tram stop is 10mins walk away. The electricity and water bills will be divided equally. I don't have wifi (I just use my phone internet). I do my own thing foodwise, but happy to share the occasional meal if both home.
I'm a 23 year old female- I love yoga, animals, music and wine :) I'm very friendly and easy going. I study Naturopathy full time and work a couple of shifts a week at the airport. I'm looking for a place to move into in December but if I feel a really positive vibe I'd consider moving sooner :)
Hey friends, I'm Lucy, I'm 20 years old and currently still living with my family Looking to move out within the next few months for more freedom and independence. (Don't be worried that if you were to get a house with me I'd be hit hard with reality and take off half way through the lease, because when I plan something, I stick to it, and this is me forever, or at least the amount of time I commit too) I work Monday to Friday in a Call Centre, work evenings and weekends part time, and work weekends doing Freelance Makeup. On weekends when I'm not working I party like most 20 year old's do. When at home, I like to lounge around either in my bed with Netflix, or on the couch with a good movie, which will most likely result in afternoon naps or dancing around the house with no pants on (I'll try to be fully dressed when your family comes over but no promises) In a roommate I'd be looking for someone like minded and respectful, it would be a huge plus to become friends aswel rather than just passing in the kitchen everyday (I can understand that becoming friends with your roommate can ruin things but I'd be determent to keep the divide) In a house I would be looking for something clean and low maintenance (not necessarily new but preferably new appliances) , would love a spare bedroom (which we can both use) for when friends need to stay, and a dishwasher for me is a must. (Nice bathtub also preferable for lush bath bombs!) I also wanted to mention first up, I have collected a lot of the furniture that would be required for the shared spaces in our home so I'm not too fussed (would actually be preferable) if you didn't have much furniture already, hence avoiding having double.
I am 22 year old female that works full time and am looking for a room to rent around the Glenelg/ surrounding areas. I am a friendly and bubbly girl that enjoys socialising but also likes to relax on the couch and watch a movie. I have recently set some health and fitness goals, so I do a lot of meal prep and go to the gym around 5 times a week. I also enjoy cleaning but am not a neat freak in any way so having a dirty house will never be an issue. I am tidy and clean and I respect other peoples space aswell as property. Please do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions or have a listing that would suit what I am looking for.
Come join me in my cute and surprisingly spacious townhouse! It’s got two of everything that I’ve found great share accommodation needs, like two lockable carports, two shared courtyards and two shared living areas inside, so we can have a bit of space. Having said that, although I’m busy and not often there, I’d welcome a gasbag or debrief of the day after work, even sharing meals together when the planets align. The street is 7 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop and about 6 minutes drive to the shops, cafes and beach at Glenelg. Your bedroom has natural and morning light and is furnished with a queen bed which has an awesome chiropractic mattress, but I can store that if you have your own. There’s a separate laundry, a second toilet downstairs and also a powder room so you’ll be able to brush your teeth or do your hair, if the other person is in the bathroom using the (excellent) shower. • There’s gas cooking and continuous hot water. • Reverse cycle air conditioning (and BIRs) in each bedroom and the lounge downstairs. • I don’t have a microwave or TV by choice but not fussed if you BYO. • As you can see from the photos, the place is sparsely furnished so there’s room for your furniture if you have any pieces you’d like to bring. • I’m happy to share my unlimited Wi-Fi if you have your own devices. I’m looking for a friendly, social, tidy, respectful female preferably aged late 30’s to late 50’s (I’m 50). I prefer a peaceful, quiet start to the day so prefer not to have music going first thing, or breakfast radio or morning TV. I’m usually gone to my full time job by 8 am so after that is of course up to you! Non-smoking household and unfortunately we’re not allowed pets. I’d love to hear from you so please send me a message! :)

My Girlfriend and I are looking for a nice and cosy place to stay in Adelaide for several months, end of August. We love travelling and both work in hospitality. We are looking forward to discover Adelaide !
Recently moved to Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. Not into clubbing every night or crazy house parties. Though I don't mind quiet dinners, minus the crazy mess. The only drink I enjoy is water. Non smoker and clean guy from Mumbai, India.
My name is Max, and I work in hospitality. In addition, I teach Italian, my native language. I am looking for a room from January, as my lease will finish in October and I will be travelling in November and December. Ideally, I'd stay around Glenelg, where I've always lived since I moved to SA. Here are my preferences, in a random order. None of this is an absolute, but if there are many matches, there's a good chance I might like you and your place. And, hopefully, you might like me! - not a big fan of carpet. The more wooden or tiled floors, the better - proximity to the beach, definitely a plus - good connections with public transport (trams and trains especially) - my own bathroom - enjoy cooking together, when you can - I am passionate about movies and I would love to share movie nights I am often away for several days in a row, so I would be an easy flatmate. That shouldn't attract, though, people who are just after sharing their housing costs and don't like people. I am quite private and quiet, but I feel it's important to come back to a place where you feel at home and that's what I am after. Consider also that not being much at home would mean that bills wouldn't be split in half. We would have to discuss a solution but, again, it shouldn't be too difficult. So if I got you interested please write or call. If I don't get back to you immediately, it's just because I'm at work. I can move anytime between now and the next few weeks.
We have always had a flatshare and had good experiences. Laid back friendly doctor and accountant, British/French. Tidy, sociable but not overbearing, friendly. We are active people who like new experiences, running and cycling and are great cooks.
Hi, Will be moving to Adelaide in November and am looking for a place to stay. I am a 32 year old professional. I am Portuguese (ethnically Indian) I love a chat and am quite fun, however, I do respect a person's privacy and love my space too. Love to have things clean and tidy. Recently got into fitness, and a healthier living routine, although I love my night outs and hanging with my buds. Hope to meet new people and make some amazing friends.
Hi we are a married Irish couple on a working holiday visa, looking for a 6 month rental in Adelaide starting October /November.We are tidy, responsible, relaxed and fun people to be around. We will be working full time and we like to socialise as well as respect personal space. If you have anything suitable, please drop us an email with any questions. Thanks Nicole and Bob
I'm a decent cook, by no means the cleanest cook while in the process but am certainly very particular about hygiene after I'm done. Probably talk too much, but I pride myself on being able entertain or enlighten (doubtful). This certainly does not mean that I do not listen. Am always willing to help, often to my own detriment. I am currently on centre link at the moment (I am employable though and volunteer on a regular basis). So if I'm to be considered to be an eligible housemate if acceptance of a SA Housing Bond or some flexibility with paying bond would be appreciated. Cheers, Waz
I'm a 22 year old young professional from the UK. I've recently taken up employment with a reputable firm in Adelaide CBD. As a result, I'm looking to move into an apartment with other like-minded young-professionals as well. I work 8-6 Monday-Friday, and enjoy relaxing and socializing at the weekend. I'm a very considerate and clean flatmate, and I'm looking for people who are also this way inclined! Feel free to get in contact, and we can set up a viewing/go for a beer and see how we get on! Hope to speak with you soon!
I am Melbourne-based but will soon relocate to SA. I love meeting new people and I am easy going. I enjoy the outdoors and I keep an active lifestyle - I love yoga, hiking and the beach. I am tidy and respectful of other people's space. I try to keep a balanced life - there is time for fun/socials and time to keep to myself.
Hi, my name is Hilary :) I've been living in Melbourne for the past few years for uni, and am excited to be moving to Adelaide for work in mid-October! I'm looking for a nice share-house within commutable distance from the city, preferably somewhere with a bit of a backyard/garden to hang out in :) One small proviso is that I'll be doing some long shifts at work, and occasionally overnight, so preferably not a big party house! I've previously been in share houses in Melbourne, and enjoy socialising and having a laugh. I also value keeping things nice and tidy and contributing to the household :) In my free time I like cooking, bike riding, yoga and getting outdoors. If you're looking for a new housemate I'd love to hear from you!
We have been best friends for over ten years and are perfect housemates to live with. Very clean, great cooks, fun to be around and always up for games, movies and drinks. We have both studied and are now working full time around the city. We are heading to Europe for a few months and are looking to sort our living arrangements for when we return in mid-late October. We have plenty of furniture to fill an empty house, and would be happy either just in a two bedroom home by ourselves or teaming up with others to get a bigger place. Ideally somewhere near the train/tram line is handy, and hoping to live with other respectable, neat and social people too.
Hi guys, My name is Cindy. I'm working full-time as a Marketing Coordinator in the CBD. I'm quite outgoing and love good companies. I'm not a big party person, but definitely, enjoy a glass of red from time to time. I do respect others' time and spaces, so if we can hang out, it's good. Otherwise, I'm working full-time mostly and on weekends, I'll be going out, so you won't see me very often. I prefer places with more bathrooms/ toilets so nobody needs to queue up for long in the morning. :) I love keeping fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, so I've been practicing yoga and cooking good food (looking forward to having a Yoga Teacher Training to become an instructor as the second income). I've just moved to a new place near Glenelg for a month but because of a personality clash and strict house rules (they don't allow friends coming over or hang out at the place), I've decided to move out and find a new place, preferably easy going people enjoying good company & friendly. I love having pets in the house so no issues if you have dogs/cats. I drive to work every day, so off-street parking works for me! I'm a tidy, neat person but absolutely not a clean freak. I respect the shared space and love keeping everything clean and tidy. Happy to discuss if you're having a room in a shared house available. Cheers, Cindy
Hi I'm Emma, 22 year old female looking at moving back to Adelaide primarily to finish off my uni degree. I am studying teaching, I work in a school. Love the outdoors, sports, food, travelling and music. Always up for a laugh, I'm easy going and get along with people easily. I am sociable and friendly, but enjoy my own space - likewise I understand and respect others space.
Mark and I are both professional individuals. We are both from Northern Ireland and are excited to be immigrating to Australia. We are extremely clean and tidy. We enjoy meeting new people are easy to get along with. We are very respectful of other peoples space. We are not party animals and in our free time we enjoy going to the gym, going for walks, watching movies, going out for dinner, going to concerts. We can both provide references and a police check if required.
My name is Lauren and I'm originally from Broken Hill Very down to earth and very sociable. I'm a senior consultant at Origin energy working mon-fri and in my spare time like to go to the gym, go out for dinner with friends and take my pup for walks and to the dog park. My partner Cameron is a full time carpenter who grew up in Adelaide. In his spare time also likes to train at the gym, plays 8ball, golf and ice hockey So safe to say we won't be home much!! We have a beautiful little puppy Arlo that we rescued from the RSPCA. He is currently doing puppy school so will grow up to be a very loyal loving dog. So who ever we move in with must love dogs :)
Travelling from Canada. Looking to stay somewhere near the ocean with amenities and a social scene. I am a teacher on a working holiday interested in living with other young social people interested in travelling and beach bumming.
