Hello potential future housemates! After graduating uni last year, I went on an overseas adventure for a few months. Looking for a mature-minded professional or student to share a beautiful house in Glengowrie. You will have two rooms all to yourself! A good sized, light filled bedroom with built in robe plus your own large, separate living room. You will also have your own full size fridge/freezer. NBN Internet. Ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout. The house has two bathrooms, one with full-sized bath, both shared. Good sized kitchen with dishwasher, double sink, large walk-in pantry, modern oven and microwave. Large laundry with front loader washing machine. Newly renovated with high ceilings and floorboards throughout. Attached garage which is used for storage and also a shed in the back garden with some storage space. Large, tranquil back garden with gas BBQ. Close to public transport, the beach, pubs, shops. Ideal tenant would be sociable but not a party animal, non-smoker preferred. We already have two cats so unfortunately can't accommodate any more pets. Timing of our end of lease means my current housemate is leaving early, and I want to avoid breaking the lease, which ends 20 September. So rooms are available for shorter term stays. There is an undercover courtyard area and small yard. Apart from the sleepout, there are floorboards throughout. It's in a great location only 2.5km from the Beach, equally about 2.5km from No 12 tram stop. Easy access to the city. Parking is available off-street. Neighbours are quiet and friendly. Not suitable for anyone with children. The house is fully furnished. The bedrooms are mostly furnished but no wardrobes. One room is approximately 3.35m x 3m, the other is about 3.20m x 3.60. Plenty of other storage around the house. I also have a dog that is living inside and on the couch, so you must like dogs!! She's shy at first but a good dog. I work in the city, mon-fri 8-5 or thereabouts. With a short term arrangement I am not too fussed, but I still like the common areas to be clean, especially the kitchen and bathroom. And I'd still like someone friendly, tidyish and respectful. There's a good 500gb naked wireless connection.

The room being advertised has a wardrobe so you don't need to bring one with you, the room also has a fan. The house is 20 minutes from the city and 6 minutes from the beach. I'm 30, clean, tidy, and work full time in retail management at Mile End. Not a party person at all - I prefer to spend my free time outdoors kayaking or hiking, or on the couch indulging in a Netflix binge or destroying you at Mario kart haha. I love animals and do come with a dog. He's an 8 year old pure bred Siberian Husky, and he's an absolute gentleman - friendliest Husky you'll ever meet! He loves humans - kids and adults alike, and gets along with other dogs great. He can be an outside or inside dog depending on whatever you prefer :)
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. This amazing renovated cottage has had a second floor added and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a huge living space downstairs and a smaller one upstairs. There is a large courtyard-backyard with heaps of plants and a big tree that is amazing in summer and takes just a few minutes to stroll to the beach at the end of the road. It's also only a 5 minute walk to jetty road and just a block away from the cafes, shops and bars on The Broadway. There is air con for summer and gas heating, hot water and cooking which keeps the bills down!
