I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. Hi! I’m seeking a like-minded 35-55 yo female to share a spacious townhouse in Glenelg North. The place is 7 minutes from the nearest tram stop and a 20-30 minute walk to the beach and cafes. Actually there’s a gourmet burger bar and Greek takeaway closer than that come to think of it (I haven't tried them). AVAILABLE MID SEPTEMBER The townhouse has lots of natural light, 2 lockable carports, 2 separate living spaces, gas cooking, gas hot water for the excellent shower, powder room, reverse cycle heating/cooling in each bedroom and the lounge, BIRs, big linen cupboard, front and back courtyards, second toilet off the separate laundry. I currently don’t have a microwave or TV by choice. Happy if you want to bring though, not fussed, but I don’t think we’d be compatible if you watch TV most nights. Sure, I miss a big TV screen sometimes, and love movies but I more prefer the idea and energy of playing card/board games around my extendable dining table. Hasn’t happened yet, but it could …. The one downfall for you would be that the second bedroom is kinda small and would best suit a double bed; a queen would be squishy but livable, but as I originally said, it's a spacious townhouse so there's plenty of room elsewhere. I’m security conscious and prefer to keep the front and back screen doors flick-locked at all times. Something that’s pretty important to me is a peaceful, quiet start to the day which means no morning radio or TV (that’s not negotiable). Also is a non-smoking household and we're not allowed pets. This amazing renovated cottage has had a second floor added and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a huge living space downstairs and a smaller one upstairs. There is a large courtyard-backyard with heaps of plants and a big tree that is amazing in summer and takes just a few minutes to stroll to the beach at the end of the road. It's also only a 5 minute walk to jetty road and just a block away from the cafes, shops and bars on The Broadway. There is air con for summer and gas heating, hot water and cooking which keeps the bills down!

I am NOT interested in renting a room anywhere, so please do not offer !! I think I have found the perfect house to share, now I need someone who wants to rent it with me! I want to a houseshare, where we look at houses together, sign a lease together and share the house and not just rent a room. A house big enough for everyone to have their own space. I have furniture and whitegoods for a house, and bedroom furniture for myself and a spare/guest room. But we can always adjust what goes in. This is not the search for an option to live super cheap, rather to get more bang for your buck. So a decent house in good condition with enough space for everyone to not be on top of each other. 2 bathrooms, a spare room, spacious living areas. Someone should be willing to spend $200-$250 plus expenses, so that we can get something nice. I have my eye on a house just like that in Glengowrie. Obviously there needs to be a yard for the dog with good fencing. A doggie companion for her would be perfect. I'm 40 (but refuse to grow up), work fulltime in the city, love cycling and triathlon, don't mind the odd drink, I'm not a health-nut and enjoy my creature comforts. I do like it tidy in the common areas (kitchen and bathroom especially). My dog Zara is a bit shy at first, but nothing that can't be resolved with treats, and she is really a big sook!. She doesn't want to live in a party house, too many loud noises scare her ;), and she's also not used to kids, so I am looking for single people or couples only.
