Oh hi! Now that I have your attention, I'm a 28-year-old male journo currently working at the ABC (so you know; integrity, respect, trustworthy nature, etc) in human interest stories... if that interests you. TL;DR version: - I have a large band t-shirt collection. - I really enjoy coffee and beer, but not together. I bake my own bread. - I enjoy watching The Office, F.R.I.E.N.D.S and anything about Harry Potter. I'm moving out of my house I'm renting in Lucas in the coming weeks due to the owner putting their house on the market. I'm open to living either near Ballarat CBD so I can walk to work, or in the nearby surrounding suburbs. A bit about me: I'm quite relaxed and easy going, friendly with people from all walks of life, a tidy and neat-conscious person, well aware of other people's space, and most of all I love an adventure. I currently live with 2 females and have lived with a mix of guys and gals before, also growing up with three older sisters. I'm a bit of a sports nerd, love being active in social sport teams (anything from footy, to basketball to lacrosse to tennis or cycling). I also take a lot of photos (not the selfie kind) as that's my other passion outside of work. I'm also colour-blind but that's a whole another story. I'm also big on going to gigs across a lot of different genres, especially punk. I also love all animals so if you have a pet, then that's a bonus! I have a lot of existing items already including my own bed, couch, TV, kitchen items, washing machine, dryer, etc. So I'm pretty self-sufficient in terms of furnishings. Having said that, if there's a furnished house or flat that's always a bonus. I often like to come and go when I need to as I'm a fairly social person outside my four walls and spend a fair bit of time on the road. I am the kind of person that likes to bring a friend over to watch TV every now and then, so I like to be social with people and respectful of others in our shared spaces. My budget is about a maximum of $200 per week, but could be flexible if rent included internet, foxtel, gas, electricity, water, etc were added in. I'm originally from Albury, then grew up in Hobart, a couple of years in Melbourne then Mildura, so I've gotten used to moving recently for work, but really just hoping to settle in Ballarat at the right place with work with a permanent job in media (yes, they actually exist). Ideally, I'm hopeful of living in a house of about 3 people (give or take a person), young professionals around my age (flexible with that) that have had experience in sharehouses before. If you think I'm the right for your place, I'd love to know more about you, and the surroundings, and any pictures you have of potential rooms and shared spaces. I can provide professional and housemate references where required. Now that you've made it this far, I'd love to know more about YOU and what you're looking for in a place or housemate! Thanks :)
Hello, I am 29 years old and I just arrived to Australia from Barcelona. I am a PhD student at Federation University and I am looking for a sharing house in Ballarat. I am a friendly an social person who loves to interact with other people and have them around. I do not smoke and I am a tidy and organized individual. I have already been living in Australia for a year (in Geelong) sharing a house with other 8 persons in which was a lovely experience to me. Therefore I am sure I will keep on enjoying this way of life.
Private north-facing bedroom at the back of a 3 bedroom house. Spacious and bright. Comfortably fits up to a queen size bed. Carpeted with double built in wardrobes and own bathroom next door. Possibility of having your own small living space as well (just needs to be furnished). Central heating throughout. Big lovely deck out the back for BBQs and relaxing in summer. $130 rent per week includes bills except for internet.

Lol Wil and I are ok with sharing a bedroom as we currently do this already, so no problems there. We have a very small timid but affectionate chihuahua, Tiny. Who is also house trained. She is 8 years old and extremely cute and very funny. She is also fine with other pets and children. I study part time 😊😊

I'm a personal trainer and membership consultant - reliable with payments. I have a five year old Siberian husky storm who is very well behaved and quiet. I also do have a beautiful white cat called Ally who is currently at my mums but I would dearly love to have her live with me. Looking for somewhere safe, clean, quiet and warm. Would prefer a large room, walk in wardrobe and ensuite a bonus but not crucial if the room is big. Can provide rental references. I'm super clean and peaceful and like to keep very active and eat well 😊
We are a fun, laid back couple. Both studying in health and sport focused university degrees. Ebony is a graduate of health and rehabilitation science, continuing study in osteopathy. Marvin is in his second year of exercise and sports studies. Quiet, clean and tidy couple who enjoy gaming, sports and quiet afternoons with friends. We have been dating for over 5 years and avoid making other people uncomfortable with any PDA. We are happy to team up and lease with females, males, couples or a mix. Or move into an existing house.
I'm a full time Nurse, moving from the Albury Wodonga Region down to Ballarat. I'm quite a social person and I think that I am easy to get along with. I will do my fair share of housework and I am a pretty clean person. I like to spend my days off exploring the region and finding something to do.
I'm 18, I don't have a job at the moment but I do have a stable income. I am very quiet, like to go out some weekends but am always quiet coming home, I am respectful of everyone else in the house, always do my part around the house. I do have a kitten though that stays inside and don't really want to part with her, she has been around an older Staffie before and has been around other cats, she doesn't leave mess anywhere. I will be starting a childcare course next year. I need to find a place asap
Hi There, I am an easy and fun loving individual who enjoys a quiet stay with anyone. I can bring many skills to the household and would make a fantastic flatmate for everyone and anyone interested. Conversation is never dull when I am around, but when it isn't required I am just as good at reading a good book or enjoying 'my time" with a book and a cup of tea. I will no doubt always pull my weight when there is a task that needs to be done. I love to help whether it is in a group of people or just myself. Cooking is my forte and all cleaning skills are exceptional, but everyone has a weak point and mine is in the ironing...doh!! It will not be long before I become part of the furniture and you will not be disappointed in the skills that I can bring to your home. I am looking at becoming part of a home as I have been a long time leaseholder who is needing a change. Look forward to hearing from you all soon and meeting you all for a good chat in person. Thankyou for considering me and speak with you soon. Cheers Michelle :)
I'm a young professional who just accepted a full time position as an English Teacher in one of the Ballarat schools. Originally from Ballarat but currently residing in Melbourne, I am looking to find a place for 2018 with 1-2 people. I am work focused: however, I enjoy a good conversation, dinner and the likes after a work day. In my spare time, you will find me running, cooking, reading, drinking wine and catching up with friends. I like to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Ultimately, I am hoping to find people that I enjoy coming home and seeing!
I have a cat who I've had for a few years he is very chilled, I'm doing a barista course that finishes next month so I'm pretty positive that I should have a job very soon. I'm currently living with my mother who has few mental health issues and living with her is very stressful and is an unstable environment. Kind regards, Bailey Bedella
I am a full time teacher at one of the secondary colleges in Ballarat starting in 2018. I enjoy playing sport and socialising with friends. I’m clean and tidy and have lots of experience living in share houses through university exchanges for periods of time. I am looking for someone to live with as I’m orignally from Melbourne.
Hey there! My name is Susie and I'm a Registered Nurse, but I also study a BA Acting at Camp Street. I'm looking for some new share accommodation as my current lease expires in December. I am considerate, clean, easy going and social. Looking for a home not just a house :)
Hey! I'm Hannah. I work full time, Monday to Friday, love going to the gym in my spare time and hanging out with friends on weekends. My parents live out of town so I like to visit them in my spare time as well. I'm always up for a chat but respect privacy as well. I'm neat and tidy and enjoy meal prepping for the week ahead. I love animals as well so pets are never an issue.
I guess I'm a fairly normal guy, I love footy, love movies and I'm a bit of a foodie, will be studying at acu in 2018. I'm fairly responsible (cooking, cleaning etc) but don't mind having fun either.
Hi there...I am a very busy guy, but I can always make time to catch up with housemates...especially over dinner...I am a great chef and I love to cook for my friends. I am a restaurant manager who is also very creative with a keen sense of humour.
