My name’s Cherisse and I’m looking for somewhere to live in the ACT or Queanbeyan with housemates who are easygoing and fun. I’m pretty busy so I mostly keep to myself, but I’d love to live with people who share a few drinks or go out from time to time (I love love love karaoke). I’m a freelancer and often work from home, so I need a room with a reasonable amount of privacy and housemates who don’t mind helping me procrastinate through my writers block. Everywhere’s a twenty minute drive from everywhere else in Canberra, so the most important thing for me is finding housemates who are a good fit. Otherwise, I’m into fitness, don’t smoke, like animals and have a healthy fear of spiders. I come with an eight year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter. He’s not very active, so he doesn’t need much space, but he does need secure fencing. He’s adorable, housetrained and loves cuddles and other dogs. I’m open to any sort of lease for any length of time. I’ve got my own furniture, internet and Netflix account, so all I really need is a bedroom. Hit me up if you’ve got a room that might suit me.
I'm a very nice respecting person that is always been known for caring n putting others before myself. I'm just a hard working tradie up in Canberra working away from home that wants a place to live. If u wanna know anything else about me just ask .
Hi everyone, My children and I are desperately looking for a rental, private or agency, doesn't matter! I am completely negotiable on price, although probably can't push more than $350 P/W. I am hoping to find a 1 or 2 bedroom granny flat, share house, unit etc, I am 100% flexible, as long as it's big enough to house us. About my family.. I am a 23 year old female, who is currently 36 weeks pregnant, and studying part time, I also have a 2 year old daughter. I need your help to find our family a place to call home, before this baby comes! Thank you.
Born and raised on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, I shifted to Adelaide 5 years ago to complete my degree. Now that I have finished my degree I am looking to move around and explore different opportunities. I am moving to Canberra with a new full time job. Initially, I am moving on my own to meet new people but will eventually move my pupper, Lynch and my thug cat, Paxton over and shift into a place of my own, so I am only looking for short term accommodation that is preferably furnished. I have lived with housemates throughout my degree and love to do activities together, whether its going out on a Friday night, having a pizza and wine night at the house or going on a hike on a Sunday morning. I get along with anybody but do love to keep active and love animals so if anyone is into social sports or has a pet we will get along great!
Hiya I am Jay, I am currently working fulltime as an apprentice hairdresser, I am also doing fulltime online studying as well, I am a quite very respectful tidy person, I dont mind hanging out and having a chat but also happy to keep to myself, I am looking for a room to rent as I currently dont earn enough to move into my own place just yet.
I'm a public servant looking for short term accommodation anyehere close to a direct bus to the city. I'm hoping to find somewhere warm for the winter months and ideally, a place I can keep my cat, George with me. He's big ol panther but he's very cool. On the weekends i do my best to get our of the house to catch up on some studies, find a quite space to read and check out Canberra's music and art scene. I'm a non-smoker and would like to share with someone who doesn't smoke. This is very important to me. Some good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks, baking cakes and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. My household pet peeves are food and dirty dishes left in sinks overnight and grimy, dirty or dusty floors. I like my pad dust, ( human and pet) hair and crawlie free. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly autumn weather has been a surprise! I will happily talk to you about heating expectations etc before we get to winter. Cheers, Rose
The hubby and I, both 35, are moving to Canberra in June 2019 under the 190 Permanent Residency visa. Dheeraj (hubby) is in the F&B line, while I am in Marketing and Communications. We will both be looking for fulltime jobs, but are able to pay for rental initially. We love to eat and travel, and are a fun, loving couple with lots of stories to tell, if you want to listen! :) We are happy with a master room ensuite - preferably furnished as we are only arriving with our clothes.
I am searching for a room to let. I am a 37 year old male from England. A pet less adaptable nonsmoker who enjoys clean, tidy and peaceful living. My hobbies include cooking and cleaning. Just landed a new job in the area. #Capricorn##INTJ##youngest sibling# Cheers Ben
Hey People, I’m a Brow Waxer moving to Canberra from Brisbane in May. For fun I like to socialise and go on adventures. I’m clean and respectful of others spaces. Hibernate mostly when it’s chill, always up for a laugh. Quite outgoing and down to make some memories with some new housemates 🌻
I'm a full-time working professional & business owner, in Security, Events & Automotive Journalism. Due to these fields, I tend to work from home 2 -3 days a week. But also travel interstate often. Self confessed coffee addict, easy going, don't mind a good chat but also enjoy my quiet time. When I'm home, I generally like to relax, gaming or watching Netflix. Its not a party household but don't mind an occasional BBQ gathering. My animal babies are a Sulfur Crested cockatoo and a doggo. The doggo is a 10yr old Kelpie X Staffy named Cosmo. Best described as a midget kelpie that's as lovable and needy as a Staffy. She LOVES cuddles. The cockatoo is a 15yr old boy named Archer who's cheeky talkative, he says hello and mumbles a lot. As you can see, I'm an animal person so it would be essential to have a love for animals. All are indoor pets and super friendly.
27 male, respectable individual. Working Professional, who mostly keeps it to himself but enjoys casual chats at times. Love star gazing - have my own telescope. Recent engineering graduate, so have been a student myself and I will be great with students. Happy to help with your coursework as well at times ;) just ask me nicely. HaHa
I'm a 31 year old professional, moving to Canberra to work for one of the major consulting firms. I'm moving from Bondi after living here for 3yrs. I have two cats who I'd love to bring with me however the priority is finding a place so I can start my new role.
Hi 47 yr old recently separated country gent. Neat, clean and tidy. Yes I can cook and clean. No pets. Sociable and friendly. Non smoker and rarely drink. Don't have much gear as it was all left with my ex to look after my children. Travel away every other weekend to visit kids.
Located just 20 minutes from Canberra CBD, on the outskirts of the ACT border is the beautiful, family friendly suburb of Jerrabomberra. With lovely gardens, parks, playgrounds and sporting ovals just a short walk away you will feel right at home here. The house backs onto Mount Jerra so if you are into bushwalking this is a great place you. With a lovely spacious backyard and outdoor entertaining area this house is well suited for small pets so they will be considered upon application and if approved by landlord. There is off street parking in both the garage and also the driveway. In winter stay warm with ducted gas heating and stay cool in summer with split system air con. The master bedroom is very large and has a spacious walk in wardrobe and your own en-suite with shower. Enjoy your own privacy with a door that locks and your own seperate entrance to the room through the backyard. Kitchen, laundry and lounge room are shared spaces with other house mates. Unlimited NBN wifi available here for $80 total a month so if you would like to use it is $10 a week on top of rent.
