We're a really easy going and friendly couple in our early 20s! Both work full-time and I'm study nursing part-time at UC. We have a German Shepard X Rotti who is a loveable and well trained dog. Myself and Rahul have our own room furniture so an unfurnished room is a must. I also work currently as a shift worker - my shifts generally start around 7am and finish after lunch (I don't do any afternoon shifts but I do sleep at work twice a month). We work hard 6 days a week and enjoy relaxing on Sundays. We also enjoy going to the coast a few weekends a year to see our friends there.
There's two large living areas, great for a sharehouse. The backyard is brilliant for entertaining. The whole house is lined with windows for lots of sunlight. There's plenty of off-street parking for 4 cars. There is storage space available in the 3 car garage. The location is excellent: a 10 min walk to the local shops, 3 min walk to a bus straight into the city, 7 min drive to the Tuggeranong centre - great for public servants who work in Greenway. There's a beautiful view as you drive in to the suburb.
Lovely views of Point Hutt pond from deck area where BBQs are frequent. Bike/walking path outside back gate, with a short walk to Lanyon marketplace. 100 m to local bus stop. Utilities, FOXTEL, NETFLIX and unlimited internet are included in the rent. Town house would suit small pet only as the rear yard is compact.
Hi, My name is Gabby. I am going to be moving to back to Canberra very soon from Melbourne I have just got a job and will move up in August-September. I am a complete whovian and so have lots of Who related stuff. I am a big geek and love being so. Interested in many things arts, politics, culture and love to talk. I have a pretty good friendship group in Canberra and am looking forward to moving back. I am quiet and considerate having lived in a few long term sharehouses. I do have furniture but I don't have to bring it with me as I am renting out my apartment here in Melbourne. I hope what I have written has piqued your interest in meeting me. Cheers, Gabby :)
i am easy going person, love to cook, love to meet new friends, fun going person,i am from Fiji i just moved to canberra i work as a truck driver for Toll i am also a sporting fan i once played rugby but to old now for playing but still watch football or any kind of sports
I work part time in a jewellery store in Woden and spend my spare time making art and writing. I'm respectful of other peoples privacy and need for alone time while still being cheerful and friendly to live with. I'm looking for a bedroom anywhere for me and my two rats (who live outside). I believe in respecting the people you live with by keeping the house clean and pleasant to live in. I also believe in respecting other peoples possessions. I hope I can find some nice people to live with :)
Neat and pay on time. Me and my partner who are both women are both professionals. We are both from the Philippines and friends in highschool. And yeah thats it. I dont know what else to say to be able to create an account on this website.
I've just started a contract with DHS. I'll commute to Sydney every weekend and so just want somewhere I can spend 4 quiet nights each week. Happy to share a meal and have a chat though. I will try to play some casual basketball in Canberra too.
Im really easy going, I work full time plus 3 nights a week. I am very clean, non-smoker and non-drinker. I spend many afternoons out with my friends. I have recently moved from Bowral NSW. I enjoy playing soccer, fishing and camping.
I'm a very calm and chilled out person. I find it very hard to be or stay angry, and am always open to talking about issues and compromising. I spend most of my free time playing games or reading. I was born in sydney, and lived there until 2015 when i moved to canberra for a change of scenery and an international program that was available at a school down here. I'm a tidy person and a decent cook.
Hello, I am a single working professional. Moved to Canberra for work with APS. I am clean, friendly and social without stretching into others space. Most weekends I drive back to Sydney and weekdays I am mostly away either working or badminton or Gym or meeting friends. Let me know if you have anything suitable. Thanks, Rakesh
Hi! I will be working at DHS and will be new to Canberra moving from New Zealand. I like to lift weights, explore new places (and photograph the crap out of them), play board games, watch movies and read. It would be great if we can be friends too as I will be needing some :/ Partial to a few social beers. Cheers.
Great size house, really open and plenty of space. 4 bedrooms, but only looking to fill two rooms. Potentially just one room for a couple and the right price. Big kitchen if you like cooking, and a beautiful lounge room that beams with sun in the morning. Nice, quiet street and within walking distance to the shops.
This is our family home and we are moving overseas in October this year. It's a large 5 bedroom house with 3 separate living areas. We are nestled amongst the mountains and if you are into the outdoors there's a great walking track up the road from our house. We have evaporative air conditioning and ducted heating throughout the house. 2 people will share a bathroom and each of these rooms has a queen size bed and built in robe. The person who takes the Master bedroom will have a queen size bed, ensuite and walk in robe (the cot and rocking chair you see in the picture will be removed before you move in). The living areas and bedrooms are all on the one floor upstairs, with one room downstairs (which our son will be living in). We are a 5 minute drive from the Lanyon shops which includes all the essentials such as Woolworths, Caltex petrol station, hairdressers, 24 hour gym, doctors, dentist, take away food etc. We are also a 10 minute walk to Banks IGA.
Room to rent with two busy teachers in their 30's. Shared kitchen, dining and bathroom. Room can be furnished with a single bed and large TV or unfurnished if you wish. Utilities will be split three ways. Need to provide your own internet. We are in walking distance to Tuggeranong Hyperdome shopping Centre and Government Departments.
A lady hairdresser is going to come to Canberra on Working holiday VISA. I am going to move a house early December so i just look for a short temporary term until she move to my house at that time. I shall be thanks if someone could do this short term roomshare for her. near Erindale shopping centre must be great and appreciate
I am 25 and work full time at the legislative assembly. I'm easy going and generally enjoy keeping to myself but enjoy a casual chat in the evening. I spend most weekends either out watching sport, playing myself (I play Aussie Rules and Ice Hockey) or just simply catching up with mates.
Fitness fanatic who works 6 days a week. I'm not a party animal and would prefer a whiter housemate rather than one who is up until all hours of the morning. Looking to move sooner rather than later, preferably south side but will live anywhere. Thanks 😊
hello, Brendan from Sydney here (28yrs) relocating to Canberra for Work/Relationship. -respectful of others -clean -enjoy socialising and also enjoy quiet time -make good coffee :) -handy round the house -pretty chill
I am currently searching for a short term private room whilst waiting for the property I purchased to be built. The move in date for my property is expected to be the end of November, however some flexibility around the date would be preferred, but I would of course give adequate notice of the move date! I don't mind if the room is furnished or not and the majority of my belongings will be placed in storage for this period. I've lived in share houses over the last 6 years so consider myself 'house trained' in contributing to all bills, cleaning rosters and being down for a chat 😁 About me: I work full-time in a science role and have after-work activities most evenings. When I come home I like to cook and then just relax (Netflix!). Im into health and fitness and am quiet in that I don't drink very often/ party 😊
