I am an international student at QUT, studying Construction Management. I am a clean and organized person, love to meet and get along with people. Would love to meet with the housemates whenever possible, go out with them for dinner/lunch. But also know how to keep things to myself and not disturbing others and respecting their privacy. I have a part-time job as well as a cadetship so would be busy with my stuff, but would love to hang out and have a chat every now and then. Also, I am interested in starting a new sharehouse together and ready to meet new and fun people in the way for creating a share house.
Hello, Me & my girlfriend (French) have the Working-Holiday-Visa I'll be a baker, so I'll be working from Midnight to 8 am (then sleeping on the afternoon) So : We're a baker & a hairstylist looking for jobs experience, that's why you can be sure that we're not going to make parties or anything else. We want to perfect our english, so we hope we will meet talkative people. see you Trifide and Sarah
I work full time in the city, Monday to Friday so I won’t be in the apartment/house during the day. I’m clean and respectful. I am a super relaxed person and easy to get along with. 🙂 I love to socialise, and i am respectful of privacy but also love to have an occasional chat with a glass of wine after work!
Close to city, bus stop outside, Train station close by, large airy room, no aircon, separate access, outside area, standard internet access but not unlimited (can be arranged at extra cost), TV point in room, Kitchen/bathroom/toilet access but separate living downstairs.
Hey, I'm Sam. I'm a clean, respectful, friendly, quiet and easygoing guy, originally from Tasmania. I work most nights, usually from 9pm - 2am, and during the day I can be found sleeping, talking to my friends online, preparing meals, listening to music or playing the occasional computer game or TV show. Basketball is my main interest, I watch NBA games when they are on and play social basketball on Monday nights. I have minimal belongings. My ideal place would be under $200/w rent, fast internet (NBN/Cable/ADSL2+), close to Brookside where I work, with housemates who can keep the shared areas reasonably tidy as well. Dishwasher is good but not essential. If other housemates want to hang out, have drinks, play games, watch shows, cook or socialise as a group, I'm happy to partake, but I'm also comfortable with living separately and independently. I won't be moving until late October, so I won't be responding to messages until closer to that date. Sorry.
Hi :) I am a full time worker who works from 9:30 to 5:30pm, mon-fri. I am in need of a place where we can each have our own space. I am very friendly and easy to get along with :) I am from the Redcliffe area but have lived in the city for about 2 years now at the same place. Unfortunately I've had to move out and now I will need to find another place where I can stay at for up to at least 6 months, if not for a lot longer. After work I like to come home and spend time with my dogs out the back, I like trying to cook every night and I love music. I would be great to live with because I am a very clean person and take pride in my home and self. Please consider me for your new flatmate/friend :)
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 28-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean and considerate, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - read, lots of boxes! (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'll also consider suburbs near those I've listed.
Hi I'm Tayen, I'm a 27 year old student who just returned from 6 months exchange in Denmark. I have a strong hospitality and retail background so I'm great with people. I'm pretty easy going, creative, clean, happy and I like to socialize and cook. I like to have friends or family over for dinners or a few casual bevvies every now and again. I like trying new things and I like to be able to have a chat or hang out with my housemates on occasion but I don't want to be living in each others pockets. I'm looking for a relaxed household where everyone is respectful of each other but also likes to have fun and a bit of a laugh. I like hanging out on the internet, watching tv shows and movies, playing the occassional gaming console, going out every now and again, arts and crafts, festivals and lots of other things. I'm looking for easy going people who are clean and friendly and don't mind socializing on occasion. I'm also looking for people who don't mind if I have friends and family come and stay on occasion and people who like to have bbqs and the occasional drink. Relaxed, friendly people who are reliable with bills and like to have a laugh.
I’m a quiet, tidy, private person. Work keeps me pretty busy during the week. On weekends I like to find a green space to go for a walk, chill out with a movie or a book, catch up on house-chores, and catch up with family and friends.
Hi there, i'm currently just working full time getting back to a more normal life after having spent the last year and a half in North America. I'm easy going, love to cook and am down for a drink. Interests include travel and music, I find it very hard to turn down a gig or festival. Very clean housemate with shared spaces, and probably wont be up too late as I work mornings. Love a bit of banter but also respect peoples needs for personal space. Looking to move in to somewhere some time after mid October. Cheers, Libby
I enjoy the arts, holistic health and the natural environment. I have a sense of humour and am interested in current events. I am independant and respect others and appreciate respect in return as well as living with mature individuals. I enjoy the outdoors, animals, nature, and eco-friendly living and healthy lifestyle. I prefer peaceful, pleasant surrounds. I like my freedom. I enjoy conversations, am caring but also like to keep to myself at times. I am best living with postiive people in a positive healthy eco-friendly household. I work part time in health and health promotion. I have lots of interests so I am either doing different sorts of things (I like exploring places, ideas, experiences), some of the same stuff, as well as not much at all.
Hi there! I'm a HR professional who works full-time at a university in the inner city suburbs. I'm down to earth, have a great sense of humour, clean, tidy and a very respectful housemate. I am fairly low-key during the week and on weekends I enjoy catching up with friends and family in Brisbane and down at the GC/Sunny Coast. I don't mind a bit of chat over dinner and a glass of wine (or two :-)) now and again but I also enjoy my own space and privacy and am respectful of yours too.
Hi, we're Krystal (28) and Scott (30). We've just come back from a working holiday in Japan and are looking for a new place to live. We're friendly, quiet, clean and would love to live with people who are similar to us. Krystal is a writer with interests in language, reading, travel, music, animals and nature. Scott is an engineer who loves photography, mountain biking, and of course travelling! We both love camping, hiking, riding, swimming, kayaking and snowboarding!! We like to socialise every now and then, but quiet time is good too! We like to cook most nights, but we are good at cleaning up after ourselves :) We will probably go out to friends and families places at least once a week and will spend many weekends over summer camping and enjoying the great outdoors. We ideally would like a place with an undercover carpark for Scott to park his car.
Hey guys, I'm Sam! Currently in my third year at QUT in an education degree and my lease is ending at the beginning of October, so I'm looking for someone to team up with and find a sweet place with! I have a 7 year old cat that comes with me - no arguments there- so if you don't like living with a cat, we're probably not best suited to live with each other. He spends his days lazing around or cuddling with me, so he won't get in your way at all. I'm clean, really enjoy a good Netflix sesh and am a busy person who is either at uni, footy or work so I won't be home too often to be that noisy or annoying flatmate. My current roommates moving overseas for study but we do enjoy a beach trip or two on the weekends or getting drunk in front of the tv, so if I sound like your type of roommate, hit me up. Currently living in Ashgrove but I'm not too fussy with locations, as long as it's close enough to QUT Kelvin Grove via public transport, so anywhere between Chermside - Woolloongaba and everywhere in between suits me!
Hey everyone, I'm a young girl recently moved from New Zealand. I am working full-time, a volunteer at the RSPCA and play a lot of football. I'm great to live with as I'm considerate, tidy and reliable. I am fairly busy through the week but am happy to have the occasional dinner or drink.
I work at Royal Brisbane hospital as a patient support officer. I am a caring giving person, friendly, outgoing and love to have a good laugh. I'm a very active person and enjoy meditation, writing, reading, singing and dancing. I also do an online business which I am very passionate about. I love personal development. I respect other peoples privacy and am courteous towards other people. I am tidy, keeping my area clean as well as contributing to keeping the house clean for everyone to enjoy.
I am a very neat person, quiet and easy going, can be very chatty if need be. Willing to help out with household jobs, I am into cosplaying, pop culture and all of the nerdy things!
I work night shift, so I pretty much keep to myself during the day. I have my 1 year old dog with me who is house/toilet trained, who is mostly an inside dog but also an outside dog. Very respectful of others belongings and personal space.
Hello! I'm looking to rent a fully fenced house with a back yard for my lil fella Benji (8ish year old Border Collie cross) preferably in the inner northern suburbs and close to a train station but I'm pretty flexible. Benji is a trained indoor dog but I work in the CBD Mon-Fri roughly 8-6 so need somewhere with a yard that he can hang out in while I'm slaving away for the government. I enjoy reading, hanging with my pals, and eating family sized bags of chips on a Friday night. I don't smoke but will have a drink every now and then. Looking to live with 1-2 chill people who are tidy, friendly, know how to recycle and won't judge my weekend eating habits. Also Benj doesn’t like to share so I’m looking for somewhere/someone that doesn’t already have a dog or cat. I’m open to teaming up and finding our own house as well. Hmu if you love a good Queenslander!
I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and sometimes work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events. I've was living in a share house for around 3 and a half years and I'm currently living on the Southside in Tarragindi. I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. It's important to find people who are comfortable with co-habitation and are prepared to communicate if any issues arise. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. I would like to play more music at home and be able to set up a guitar / bass guitar in my room without causing problems for people and yes, I'm respectful of noise levels. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries, and on-line TV series (Love The Handmaid's Tale/ Counterpart / Deep State / The Orville ). I like to attend live music jams, swim, do yoga in the park and meditate at home on a regular basis.
Friendly, Easygoing, artistic, happy to keep to myself. I'm a musician, DJ, producer and multimedia artist. Keen on most types of music. Love a good intelligent conversation. Adjust easily to different living situations. Clean and willing to work in with established rosters if applicable.
Whilst I love a wine and a good time, my house party days are long behind me and it would be ideal for me to be with like minded people. Most nights involve cooking dinner, socialising or chilling out. I work long but flexible hours so I can sometimes be at home until mid morning or home after dinner. I am an interiors addict which is an occupational hazard for me as a real estate agent lol but aside from wanting to live in nice, secure surrounds I am also very keen to live with someone who is at a more settled stage of their life. Not a bore though...very social and often out with friends. Not likely to fight over the remote as don’t watch a heap of tv except for the trash show. I’m super easy breezy and get along with everyone so I would like to think this could be a more permanent situation if we all get along but initially looking for 3-6 months. I love a Oh, I’m 37 and single (that sounds weird to say after having been with my last partner for 12 years!) and not at all looking to mingle lol just want a nice home environment that I can cal my own for awhile. Thanks for considering me :)
Hi! Me and Jesse, my partner, are looking for a room/granny flat etc for rent for roughly 6months, Until we have saved enough to get a place of our own! We are both Clean and Tidy people. We don't party, but like to have the occasional drink with some friends. Jesse is working full time, and I am currently looking for work. We are both shift workers, in the hospitality industry, but are quiet if coming home late at night/early in the morning. We have our own bedroom furniture, but do require use of washing machine :)
I am from Brazil, 30 years old and I have living in Brisbane since April 2017 but only as an au pair. I currently studying Leadership and Management. My Visa expired in July, so I am looking for share house to live a different experience and make more friends. I am really easy going person, mature, funny, christian, love kids, dogs, foods and exercise. I normally work every day during the day but I have my nights at home and sometimes weekend. I don't care about nationalities but I do care about smoking and cats, only because I am alergic. =/ I love cinema, beach, but I love more stay with nice people, wherever we are. That's it. I hope we can live together! :)
As you now I'm a student nurse at QUT looking for good, affordable accommodation toward the end of the year with house mates who are clean and not too noisy. I like going to the gym, weekly park runs, shopping in the markets, reading and going to the movies. Favourite programs are GOT, Vikings and House of Cards.
I'm returning to the land of oz after 6 months of travel and am looking for a new place to call home for at least 3 months. I don't have a job secured yet as I haven't booked my flight back to Brisbane but I am looking at working full time in a cafe as well as balancing my travel blog and photography business. I have stayed in 4 other share houses before, so I would love to say that I'm a pretty good roomie and understand when to give space. It's not to say that I'm done with partying, but I would prefer to be in a household that is more health orientated. Mind you, I do still love a good boogie and glass of wine, just in moderation. I'm a pretty damn happy person and am full of energy - but I tend to burn it off running, playing back to back netball games or dancing around the house (it's not excessive, don't you worry). I want to be surrounded by like minded people, so ideally looking for housemates that want to join me for an afternoon walk, share healthy dinners and go on little day trips together.
I am a 22 year old female, working casually in a bookshop and pet sitting job ( at other peoples places) who loves the outdoors , animals and keeping busy. I love to cook and to keep things tidy and would say i'm very easy to get along with.
I am a yoga teacher and wellness specialist (working with PTSD/trauma/high-stress occupations) looking at making the move back to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast. I have a beautiful, 5y/o husky who loves people but as a rescue pup, doesn't do well with other dogs in the same space. She's fluffy, but I make sure I clean up after her. (Outside-only dog - I know people always say that, but this is actually very true). I also have a sweet, quite timid inside-only cat (so she's clean) who will probably hide a lot of the time until she gets to know people. I'm clean, super-respectful of space and boundaries, am not a partier but can enjoy a wine or two over good conversation. I'm friendly and love when I live with people I can get along with. I'm reliable with bills and a good communicator. Bonus: I also come with an espresso coffee machine! I also have white goods (can be stored elsewhere if necessary) and super comfy lounge suite (can confirm: best napping couch!) Since I own my own business, I will need space at least in the bedroom for my desk if not an extra area where possible. I'm generally pretty busy and focused on my work. When I'm not doing that, I'm out at yoga (doing or teaching), walking the dog, being active (just getting into indoor rock climbing), finding a park to chill out and read in, etc etc. My move date is just dependent on finding the right place. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
