Hi there :) We’re Dee and Desi, 49 and 52, a quiet married couple (with a cat, Whiskey), working from home in Norman Park. We’re situated 4km from the CBD. Our fully furnished, self-contained, and split air-conditioned granny flat will be available to rent from Sunday 1st Nov. With polished floorboards, it has an open-plan living area and kitchen with a separate master sized bedroom/walk-in robe and full-sized bathroom. Having once been a verandah (the house is an old Queenslander) it was built-in long ago, but still extends the full length of the side of the house. You’ll be sharing a wall with our part of the home. It is otherwise fully self-contained with its own private entrance. We’re seeking someone who prefers a quiet lifestyle. The size of the flat doesn’t cater to entertaining such as for large parties or large dinner parties. It would suit a couple, or daytime professional, or full-time student. As the flat shares a wall with us it wouldn’t suit anyone who is a shift worker requiring to sleep throughout the day. Non-smokers only, strictly no smoking inside and outside the property. No pets. The rent covers electricity, water, wifi and Netflix. Please note the bed linen you see in the bedroom pics (as well as the cat) is not included. You’ll need your own pillows, blankets/doona and sheets and towels. Otherwise, everything else is provided as you’ll see listed below. Thanks so much for looking! We're pretty much nearly always home so you're welcome to inspect the flat any time on weekdays or weekends :)
