I'm Lisa, 27, easy going and tidy. Love a chat and a catch up but also like my own space. I'm respectful of other peoples space but would love to share with someone I get along with. I'm mostly interested in beginning a new house (just as a preference) as I would like a decent yard for my 2yo pup Dutchess (who is house trained and very friendly). would prefer a place with my own bathroom and don't mind paying a bit extra if it means i get a room with an en suite. Hoping to find people who are easy going and respectful. Feel free to contact me if you are interested Thanks :)
all the things are very new and clean, hope to find a kind guy who will protect this with us. we live next to a primary school so the house is very safe. the available room is a master room so it is quite big. it has a own bathroom and dressing room and it is quite cheap under this situation. if you are a couple, I will increase the rent to 200 per week, so I still prefer to have a single flatmate and I can offer you the cheap price!
Freshly painted 2-bedroom house with new floor boards. There are TWO living areas. So, a lot of room for the only TWO people living in the house. One bedroom with a private toilet (not an en suite) is available for a single girl now. In your room, there are a brand new 3-door wardrobe with full length mirror, a new DOUBLE bed, a desk and lamp. Only 6 - 7km to the city. Close to everything: 3 minutes walk to Coles, post office, banks, coffee shops and other shops. 3 to 5 minutes walk to bus stops ( 3 different bus stops), gym and library. Express Bus 528 takes you to the city in 20 minutes. Sharing with a full-time working professional girl who is very tidy, well organized, respectful and easy going. Only two girls in the property once the room is taken. It is NOT a 3 or even 4 people shared house at all. Looking for a working or studying girl who is similar minded to fill the comfy room in the lovely home. Sorry, no boys, no couples and no pets. Two - week rent paid in advance. Paid fortnightly. Please contact me if interested. Thank you
I'm a Law/Commerce student studying full-time at the University of Adelaide. I meditate twice a day aiming for two hours a day, meaning I'm also vegetarian. When I'm not studying I like to hang out, make jokes, cook, do more meditation, read (history, law, etc) walk, go and see family in the Barossa Valley (so if you like wine I have boxes of the stuff that I don't drink). I volunteer at a legal aid centre in Norwood. I'm a busy person, and pretty pro-active, so I'm not the kind of house mate that will be around all the time, but I will be the one to motivate others, get stuff done and make sure all responsibilities are done. Oh, I don't drink, smoke, club or party hard but that doesn't mean you don't have to :) I also work part-time as a courier and can play guitars, piano and sing. In second semester I'm going on exchange to NYC till December so will only be looking for a room/place for six months.

I am a quiet and considerate 42yo male looking for a place to rent, and a nice person or two to share that place with. UPDATE: I'm going to be extremely hard to reach this week. My personal information should remain the same, but the details on the type of place I am looking for may no longer be current. I will update the information above and below as soon as I can. Apologies for any inconvenience. I'm fairly new to the site so please forgive any mistakes I make. My ideal would be to share a house with one or two other people. It could be a new place that we find together, or an existing place that I can move into. Perhaps you've just lost a housemate and need someone to fill the space. Perhaps you're moving out and need someone to split the bills with. Perhaps you own a place, have some space, but need some help with the bills. All sound good to me. I've been at my current rental for almost eight years, sharing with one person, who I've shared previous places with as well. I was caught out recently by notice that my rental agreement is ending, so I was scrambling to sort out a new place to live quickly. Thankfully I was able to organise a short extension, so I've now got until early March. My current housemate has other plans, so it's just me this time. I would have difficulty renting a place on my own place right now (too expensive), but would like more space than most single room rentals can provide. I work in IT, generally software engineering. I am clean and fairly tidy, although my desk can get a bit disorganised at times, and I might only make my bed properly if we have guests. ;) I am very quiet and considerate, and am only really comfortable living with people who are reasonably quiet as well. No noisy or party houses, it just won't work. I keep to myself most of the time, but do like to be sociable on occasion. When I am, I'll sit down with you and play card games, board games, or computer games, or perhaps watch a show we enjoy. Or just chat. Or head out somewhere. I am friendly and generally get on well with most people. I get along with a surprisingly wide range of age groups, so if you're fine with me, don't let an age difference be a barrier. Gender, race, and sexuality are no issue either. I am a gentle and non-threatening person and not imposing in any way. Hopefully you are similar. You should be friendly or kind, preferably both. :) I am looking for a place ideally in the north-eastern suburbs (eg. Modbury, Ingle Farm, Golden Grove), preferably within walking distance of a bus that ends up on the O-Bahn. Whilst I have a car (old, but maintained), I find access to public transport convenient. I'd prefer to avoid expensive suburbs or places too close to the city, due to cost. However, I'm flexible. I don't want to go too far south as most work in my field is either in the city or in the northern suburbs. Although there are certainly some lovely suburbs out that way. :) I do not smoke. I'm fine if you do, as long as you're fine smoking outside. I don't really drink but I don't have an issue with it, as long as it's not unreasonable, and you don't mind me drinking water while you drink your beverage. Neither of us should have substance abuse problems, be aggressive, or violent or anything like that. I need enough space for a queen-sized bed, bedside, large desk, chair, and various accompaniments, but I'd be far happier with more space, hence wanting to split a house. I might be open to a place that can *just* squeeze this in, but only for the short-term as I'd want to move to a bigger place eventually. Space for furniture in common areas is a plus. I have a lot of furniture, appliances, and so forth, but much of it is older. If you have your own, it is probably better than mine. We can juggle furniture to match what you have and the house we live in. I'll store what I don't use before I move in. I have no pets. I am extremely allergic to cats and anything with feathers, so if you have any pets like that, then sadly it won't work. I would prefer someone without pets, as it makes finding a rental far easier. I can be flexible if you own or already rent a place and have a friendly dog (or similar) that you can promise won't eat me or my belongings. Whilst I love animals (especially dogs), my preference is to visit rather than live with them. Pet rocks are fine, as long as they are house-trained. ;) At home I will mostly be wherever my desk is, usually working away on something on my computer (usually software development) or with electronics. I'm almost always working on something. My budget is roughly $200pw, but this can be compatible with a lower or higher budget of yours as well. I can certainly reduce this figure, down to $150pw or so. If you want to pay more than me, we get a bigger place and you get the best rooms. If you want to pay less, then we do the reverse. We'll figure something out. I have rented for roughly twenty years. I have lived in a number of places, either by myself or sharing with one other person. Never missed a payment, never lost a cent of bond. I'm fairly comfortable being around one other person and also very familiar with what it takes to keep a household running. I prefer to live with people who are also comfortable running a home, understand what is involved, and are happy to share the workload. I prefer to split chores evenly by default and then swap them around to make everyone happy. I am an acceptable cook, and prefer to make my own meals rather than eating out or ordering in most of the time. My food might not be very fancy, but it will be enjoyable. My ideal is to live with someone who prefers home cooking, so that we can take turns making dinner. If you enjoy cooking, I'll do more of the less glamorous chores if you want to cook more often. I like eating dinner together, but I'm fine either way. I am fairly open and honest. I'll tell you the good and bad about myself. There is a good amount of the former, and not too much of the latter. I'd like to know about you too, so we can make sure we are compatible as housemates. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. I'm on a fairly low income at present so have to be frugal in the short term. However, I've had a long career with a lot of experience and have a First-Class Honours degree in my field, so hopefully that won't be a problem for much longer. In any case I'd prefer to share even once I've sorted that out, as I like the company and sharing lets you live comfortably in a nicer place whilst also saving some money. This is my first time renting with someone I haven't personally known already- every other time has been on my own or with a friend. To be honest I'm a little nervous about it, but I'm sure it'll turn out okay. Making a new friend out of the whole thing would also make me really happy. If we get along fine I'd potentially be interested in sticking around for quite some time, potentially even moving house together with you if we want to upgrade or downgrade. If it doesn't work out, I'll help out where I can to make sure we all end up somewhere where we'll be happy. If I sound like someone you'd like to live with, drop me a line. Don't worry if we're not a 100% match, there's a lot of information here, and I'm not searching for my clone. ;) I get on well with all sorts of people. I've just upgraded my account so you should be able to message me for free now. If I'm someone you'd be happy to live with, I don't want you to have to pay or wait until you can message me. If I can find a good person or people to live with it'll be worth the cost. Initially I'd like to swap some messages to figure out if we're compatible as housemates, and then potentially catch up for a coffee or similar. It is important to me that I find good people that I'm happy to live with and that are happy to live with me. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Better to ask than wonder. I hope to hear from you soon. :)
Hi, I am looking for share house or someone who may be interested in renting a 'new' 2 - 4 bed place with me. I like relaxing in a clean and tidy place, with mature easy going people, male or female. Any quiet area of Adelaide and reasonably close to shops and public transport . I have some furniture in storage. A built in wardrobe in the bedroom would be good. I am friendly, clean, respectful of others and like to live a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately I can't live with cats or other animals inside the house and prefer no carpet though its ok in bedrooms. I rarely watch tv as have other things to occupy me. I'm quiet but also enjoy socialising. I'm a bookkeeper and studying.
Hey I'm Anna, I'm 21 years old. I work full time as a dental assistant so I'm never home during the day. When I am home though, I like to clean, a bit of an OCD freak when it comes to a house being clean. I also love cooking, will always have a home cooked meal over takeout any night. I'm super easy to get along with. In my spare time, I like to read books, when I'm not cleaninhg, or see friends. Don't mind a bit of Netflix here and there either. The weekends are the only days I get off so when it comes to the weekend I usually go out with a few friends for drinks or I'm at home watching movies!
I work in mining fifo so am home 5 days per month, this is a modern new house in light view, currently there is a couple in a big room and a young man in a room, so there is one more room to be filled, its a clean tidy place with unlimited WIFI, and all expenses are included in the weekly rent of $175, big modern bathroom, reverse cycle heating and cooling, bus stop 50 m, 30 minute bus ride to town, great place friendly kind people
Hi there, I am looking for a room to rent for three to six months initially while I re-establish myself in my home town after travel and working interstate over the last couple of years. I'm a single professional in my mid-40s, used to share house living and looking for friendly but independent co-habitation. Furnished room is fine in the short term, and if I am to stay in Adelaide again permanently I'd like to settle in with my own things at some stage too. So at this point, I'm looking for short[ish] term living arrangements but open to something that might become longer term if the circumstances are right. Happy to chat with interested people. Taryn
My name is Stacey, I work in dental and about to begin study. I don’t go out or drink a lot, like my personal space but I’m very easy going and like to go with the flow, just here to explore my options as can’t afford to continue leasing on my own. I have a pet dog (2 year old kelpie) who won’t have to live with me but I do need a place where he can come stay if and when I like.. he is well trained and good with all people!
Friendly, clean, tidy and respectful of others. Am sociable but also like my own space. Enjoy wine and watching tv shows/movies. Love being outside and going for hikes or to the beach. Am a nurse and do shift work so do some odd hours. My current lease is up end of February so looking for a place around that time.
i'm an easygoing type of person, i enjoy meeting new people and learning from them. I am not a smoker and i have no pets and most definitely neat, tidy and pretty responsible. Looking forward to meeting you 'future house mate'*smiley face
I'm laid back and tidy, a people person but also love my own space.. I work 5 days and i'm also a full time student studying holistic counselling and complementary therapies.. Spend most of any spare time outdoors or making music.. Love to share a vego dinner.. Very much aware of the ins and outs of a share house so super respectful and appreciate the same :)
Moving back to Adelaide from rural SA for a new job. I am experienced in living in share houses and have always enjoyed the company of having room mates of a similar age. I enjoy cooking, keeping fit (netball and hiking... hoping to take up gymnastics) and trying to master various hobbies (current: ukelele and gardening). I will be working full time as a paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) and would likely be out often on the weekends also.
I'm responsible, friendly and organized. I love to play the guitar, football, and filmmaking. I´m half Peruvian and half Venezuelan, and I have moved a lot during my life, so I have developed a nice skill that allows me to get along with different kind of people. Respect is everything and I´m very aware of that. Overall, I will be a nice and easy going flatmate.
My name is Jaieyre, I am 25, Adelaide born and bred, lived in many share houses so I know the drill. I think keeping a nice, tidy communal space and respecting each other is important. I like a nice, chilled happy household. I am not anal about cleaning, but I think cleaning up after yourself in a share house is a must (otherwise it descends into madness!) I enjoy cooking, music, reading, video games, going out and talking shit. Planning on studying at uni this year, have a part time job and I am also looking for bar work as well. I have worked in hospitality for many years, and like to think I am an OK cook. I prefer healthy, cheap, nutritious meals (yes it can be done!) and I like to share food with the people I live with if possible. Looking to start a garden or at least grow some herbs, I am over spending so much money on vegetables and herbs that are so easy to grow. Does not need to be a huge endeavour, can just be a couple of pot plants but we can beef it up and have half our food grown quite easily. I am tidy, respectful and pretty quite most of the time. I will spend most of my time in my room studying, reading or playing games/music. I am quite chatty, but only when comfortable with the people I am around. I don't care if you have people round, or if you are noisy as long as it is within reason. Online profiles suck, and reading this back I sound like an uptight nerd, which I am not I promise, get back to me and lets meet up for a coffee to see if we gel!
Hi, I'm Brad. I'm outgoing, laid back and pretty easy to get along with. I enjoy socialising, a quiet beer but am happy to keep to myself. I'm keen on music and sport and I play footy, cricket and touch football. I'm a nurse working at Sportsmed and North Eastern Community Hospital where I mainly work during the day.
Yo! Hello prospective dwelling-sharers! Plants, art and social/ eco justice are my main themes. I'm a gardener by trade, this year mainly focusing on completing my studies (PT) in horticulture and conservation. I'll grow us some greens and veggies. I've got illustration/ design skills and volunteer for an excellent creative activism group. I'm wanting home to be a relaxing space with a "homey" feel to it. I'm clean and relatively tidy, and will fairly share householdy tasks, but also won't pedantic it up. I hope to share some cooking/ meals together, maybe over a glass of wine. I'm a "mostly-vegetarian". For fun I enjoy bush walking, camping, swimming, sewing, reading, word-play and photography. I'm responsible, loyal, creative and value honesty, kindness, relative stability and sass. While I'm sometimes off-the-scale introverted, I'll always be up for quality conversations, scuba-diving style. Looking for like-mindedish, respectful people. No thanks if you're into drugs/ smokes/ excessive drinking. If it sounds like we'd get along, send me a message! Cheerio!
