I am a full time professional , non smoker, and non alcoholic and friendly , peaceful. looking for share house. Love to interact with people when it suits to both, and love my own space as well as don't want to harass others all the time with discussion. Love respecting other people's privacy and give them their share of space as well. Ideally, looking for furnished/unfurnished bedrooms in Greenway, Bonython. These two suburbs are quite close to my work, will consider neighbour suburb only if suitable accomodation is not found in these areas. Budget is $150 to $200 , depending on how a deal is described. If offer comes from outside Greenway, and Bonython, price will be narrowed down to $150 because I will have to spend on transport cost as well.
Vegetarian/Vegan house The apartment has two decent sized rooms. Master bedroom has ensuite which is taken by me. The other room comes with a separate spacious bathroom too. The apartment is not like one of those cramped apartments. It has room to move. It is on 2nd floor but no lift, only stairs. The living area is decent size with electric cooking. There is a balcony attached with living area and a separate store room is also available. The apartment is close to community swimming pool and gyms and shopping places (Hyperdome) and restaurants are not too far either. All within 5-10 minutes of walk. The whole apartment including your room is fully furnished. The rent will be $280 per week' inclusive of all bills and includes use of the furniture/equipments provided in the bedroom and the common areas e.g. living/kitchen/dining/laundry etc. Photos taken by me to show the furnishings do not do justice to the house. You are welcome to come and inspect.
Hi guys! I've started a new job in the Public Service. Been in this job for about 4 months now. Looking to move out. Preferably somewhere close to work. I work in Greenway. Looking for people I can hopefully get along with - that'd be a bonus. I'm pretty chilled. Spend most nights after work at the gym and go out for a few drinks every odd weekend. I'm respectful and organised so hoping to find people who are looking for the same thing.
My brother and myself are easy going and work 6 days a week and are respectful and very easy going. We have a very broad background and both are very accepting and compassionate people. 3 month stay is a minimum and it's more than likely going to be 6 months. We work in landscaping and we are born and raised in western Australia and live half our life in central Queensland. We like to get out and 4wd and explore when ever we get the chance. We need a bedroom each and happy to share a bathroom. We both have 4wd dual cab utes and want a place we can call home.
Hello Everyone!!!!, I hope you are doing well!!! My name is Rachit, I am originally from India but currently based in Melbourne and I will be coming to Canberra next month to start my gig with DHS. I am looking for an accommodation, I am looking for either a room in an existing 2 bed apartment or I am looking to team-up with similar minded people to find an accommodation preferably a 2 bed apartment(no couples please) and we can split the bills evenly. My budget is up to a generous $250 pw which includes all the bills. Something about myself, I am into IT Consulting and I work full-time, I am easy to go along, responsible, neat and clean individual. I like to play cricket and I am an avid sports fan. I love to watch soccer, formula 1 and catch-up with Netflix during my spare time after work. I am easy to go along with and a very good listener with whom you can chat with over a cup of coffee or drinks. I am looking for a long-term horizon with at least 6 months of stay. Looking forward for your response Rachit
Hey! I'm 23, and work full time for a consulting firm. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. In me, you will find a very kind flat mate who doesn't mind sharing all the good food that I can cook ;) I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I don't drink or smoke. I am not a "party" person so do not worry about noise with me in the house.
Hello, I am moving to Canberra In the beginning of February, would be able to schedule an inspection for then. I am only looking to share with female roomates. I am originally from Brisbane, I will be working as a Policy Program Officer with the Department of Human Services. I am clean, don't do parties, or the type to bring a bunch of friends over. I will however have my partner visit me once a month on a weekend, I do not wish for him having to find alternative arrangements for an accommodation for every time he stays the night in Canberra when he could just share the room that I am renting. I do not own any pets. I don't mind sharing with people who own pets, or bring people over (just give me notice even if it is just a few min before) as long as my roommates are clean and respectful there will be no issues. I read books for fun and go out and hike or socialise with friends.
Graduate law student and making the move from sunny QLD down to the ACT! I think I would be an ideal housemate as I keep to myself and respect personal space and understand the need for boundaries. I am beginning a role at DSS full time so I will be out of the house most of the day and only home to really sleep as if I’m not at home or work I’ll likely be in the gym. I am the person who meal preps their food for the week so you won’t find me making a mess or being in the kitchen all the time!
*** UNDER APPLICATION *** If you would like to be considered for reserve in case it falls through, please send a message and I will get back to you. This apartment is perfect for any grad/new starter at DSS or DHS in Tuggeranong. East facing room, with views of the hills and Lake Tuggeranong. Room comfortably fits a small desk, double bed and has built in wardrobes with plenty of shelving space. You will have your own private bathroom with a shower and cabinet. The apartment itself is fully furnished - all you'll need is to furnish your own room. It also features all the mod cons you can expect: a dishwasher, oven, microwave, washing machine, and dryer. The complex also has a gym, sauna, and swimming pool, which you are more than welcome to use. A major bus interchange services the area and is only a few blocks away, next to the Hyperdome. With bus stops just outside the apartment block, public transport is readily available. If you have a car and drive regularly, a secure parking spot can be arranged for a guaranteed park. The apartment is not a party household - just somewhere to come back to and unwind after a long day at work. Extras include unlimited VDSL2 internet; all bills are split 50/50.
Full time working in the public service, quiet and keep to myself mostly. Clean and tidy. I enjoy going out to the pub and going to check out live music. Looking for a place with room to have my dog around occasionally.
Hi there, I am a 38 year old female moving from Sydney to Canberra by 6th Jan 2019, will be working full-time and enrolling for my masters this year. I am neat and tidy, respectful of others' privacy, really hate cooking myself, love wine, do not party, prefer to go out for drinks with friends instead. If you think we are compatible please send me a buzz... I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Jes
I moved to Canberra about 3 months ago for work, and I'm currently living with a lady I work with. It very much feels like I'm living in someone elses home, so would like to find a housemate to find a place together, so that it feels like my own home. I have an indoors cat, who is 8 years old and very friendly. I work full time and am extremly clean and tidy. I love to cook so a well appointed kitchen is a must.
Hey, I'm Rowan, I work full time as an apprentice carpenter so you probably won't see too much of me. Looking for accomodation anywhere in Canberra or surrounds with some friendly people. Happy to conform to whatever suits the people i'll be living with. usually keep to myself but don't mind a good chat or a few drinks. Prefer people that are tidy and clean up after themselves
I'm 24, work full time in Tuggeranong and am looking for someone who likes a chat but also likes their own space. I enjoy netflix, terrible action movies, literature, music and video and board games. I like to stay in for a quiet night but I dont mind having friends over, and I'm easy-going when it comes to sharing a space with someone. I love to sit down for the occasional chat about life, the universe and everything, sometimes to extraneous depth. I will at some point get side-tracked and start talking about politics, but will make it up to you by making you a cup of tea. I'm neat, generally quiet, I like to cook and am always happy to share meals. Animals are a bonus. Please message me if you are interested in sharing a place and we can have a chat :)
Hi I’m Anthony! I’m from the Canberra region and work in the tech industry. I like to travel and keep active. Looking for a place that’s nice and I can bring my friendly dog
I'm a friendly, responsible and clean person with a sense of humour. I study a landscaping apprenticeship at CIT (but currently still looking for an employer), and I enjoy photography, gaming, and the outdoors. I like a tidy and clean room and try to keep my surroundings that way. Looking for long-term rental accommodation in a share house or separate flat.
Hey, I'm an easy going, clean, quiet guy working full-time as an engineer and looking for a room to stay in for at least 4+ months. Moved to Canberra from Sydney roughly 2 years ago. I usually leave early for work and if I'm not out rock climbing, I'm always up for a chat and a beer.
I am Rogen and working as a full-time in a clinical practice. I am down to earth and sociable, mindful of other people's privacy and space, organized in keeping the tidiness of the place. On my spare time, I go to the gym and attend dancing class. I am also up for good dinner to spend time with my housemate and oh..I love to cook. =)
I’m about to be transferred to Canberra and will be working full time. With this being my new home, I’m going to explore try to be out on the weekend exploring all what this city has to offer. Non smoker and have no pets. I’m fairly easy going, non confrontational, and not too loud. Responsible and reliable with rent. I am respectful of my flatmate’s possessions and space. I try to keep fit with cycling and a bit of running. I am clean and tidy, and happy to share the household chores.
I’ve just finished my Bachelor of Nursing degree at University and have secured a full-time position at The Canberra Hospital. Ideally, I’m looking for somewhere quite close to Woden for this reason. I am due to start in April so would be wanting to move in around mid March. I’ve lived at home during the time I’ve been at University so this will be the first time I have lived out of home. I don’t smoke, and am clean and tidy. I have respect for other people as well as other people’s things. ☺️
Hi! I am currently working at a pub in Sydney but am moving to Canberra. I will be studying at CMA. I would love to live in a household with other students and have a fun and social environment. I love animals, eating food and having a few (or more) drinks. Hope to hear back from you soon :)
I'm a quietly friendly writer/ Freelance journalist. I'm quite introverted and addicted to my laptop and tend to be a quiet mouse in the house- I like a place with flatmates who just let me do my own thing, but there may be the occasional catch-up/ social with flatmates. I'm a single non-smoker, and have no pets or children. I never leave dirty dishes, I always clean up after cooking. I'm interested in rooms to rent for a few weeks in february, (as i head oversas then). also I'm interested for renting for a few months from July. Please reach out! Thanks
Im a 19 year old educator at Brindabella Chrisitan College. I work 8 hours, 5 days a week so im not at home much. I'm very clean and tidy and fun to be around! This is my first time moving out so i'm very excited!
Pretty laid back and quiet guy although I rarely sit still. An engineering position brought me to Canberra and caused me to leave most of my friends down in Victoria, so housemates who are happy to hang out and have a couple of beers, play cards, board games or just talk rubbish would be good. Pros: -Come with plenty of furniture including a home gym, brand new lounge suite and chest freezer. -If you're a dog person I'm a package deal with Trouble, an Australian Shepherd who is definitely the better looking and more charismatic half of the pair. Cons: -Comes with an excess of furniture you may not need. -25kg of furry baggage.
