Looking for a large furnished/unfurnished room in the above areas. If furnished, I have linen for a Queen size bed so am looking for the same to suit. Unfurnished, I'll buy my own QS bed. I also have my own fridge/freezer which I would like to use & a large flat-screen TV which I will use in my room. I will gladly negotiate extra electricity payments if needed so no-one is out of pocket for my uses. I stick to myself mostly, social drinker, no drugs or cigarettes, wild parties etc. Lol! Bit past that now :) I have pretty bad arthritis of the spine & so do not work full-time but I do repair computers that keeps my head above water :) I have no problems paying my bills and the only reason I am leaving my current addy, which I have been here for over two years, is the landlord & his partner are having a second child & needs the room. I do have a work bench for the computers, on wheels & some tools and a few computers etc., so I will need somewhere to keep/work on those & I have a 4WD land-cruiser Wagon. About the only social event I do is play competition pool, so somewhere with a pool table would be ideal, but I don't really expect something like that :) Any other questions, please feel free to ask. I am looking for a permanent place to live, getting too old to be moving about. Extremely close to shops and the university (4-5km from JCU and a 5 minute walk to shops) Situated in the middle of Townsville allows for awesome access to the Strand, the Unviersty, The Ross River parks and Pontoons, all within a 15 minute drive!! I’m easy to get along with. Love animals. Clean and tidy person. I like to keep to myself but I also enjoy going out and having fun. I am not currently studying as I’ve taken a gap year and am going to commence my studies in 2018 for nursing and midwifery.
I get along with pretty much everyone and I am considerate to others when it comes noise and drinking, etc. I like to keep things tidy and always clean up after myself when cooking and doing other various household stuff. I can do outside work (i.e. mowing) as I grew up on a farm and I always pitch in with housework. I'm a full-time uni student and I have a casual job at the Cowboys stadium. I have a small dog (Foxie/Jack Russel mix) named Trevor who I wish to bring with me otherwise I will have to dump him on my parents again. He is a lovely dog - doesn't bite, gets along well with everyone and other animals. I am also a non-smoker (but have no issues with people who do smoke) and I have my own transportation.
I will be moving to Townsville for 3 months on a secondment at the hospital, starting mid November 2017 until the end of February 2018. I'm currently living and working in Mount Isa, and am a young health professional. I have lived in a number sharehouses and am originally from Brisbane. I will be working full-time at the Townsville Hospital and am easy going, clean and friendly.
