This house is in a quiet rural setting with an amazing view and abundant wildlife. There is very close access to nature reserves for hiking and exploring. Forde and bonner shops are within walking/biking distance. As are bus stops to the city or gungahlin. The house has solar so summer electricity bills are nil and winter greatly reduced. The house is heated by wood stove mainly. The room can be furnished with a queen size bed or left for your own bed. There is a large built in wardrobe and chest of draws. Plus a small heater. No air conditioning needed, but a fan in summer is nice. You must love pets, the house is home to two dogs and two cats, who share their space with a professional who works hard and is proud of her home. There are horses also living on the property, and to the right tenant they may be able to bring their own horse. Plenty of open space to ride, arena and stables are under construction. This will of course be at an additional cost. If you like being close to town, but out of the suburbs, then this is for you.
Beautiful, sunny home in quiet suburban location close to all amenities and bus stop to Gungahlin and City right outside the door. Close to Gungahlin Town Centre, parks, nature walks, local lake and billabongs. The room is large and bright with spacious built-in robes and a double bed. There is plenty of space for a desk and additional furniture if required. The house is large with ample room for separate work/study and relaxation, including two TV rooms, a bright sun room that can be closed off from the rest of the house, and two study rooms. An available car space in our garage is also available if required.
I'm very friendly, enjoy living in a well kept and clean home. Have lived out of home for many years and understand the needs for respect for others :)
I am clean and tidy person. Working full time and travel to melbourne every 2nd weekend. looking for peaceful place to live.
I'm 26 and live a busy, active lifestyle. I work full time and am as friendly as they come. I've visited Canberra most weekends for the past 2 years to see my partner but figure it's time to move here (but not in with him yet 🤣🤣) I love to socialise and meet new people but am also not a party animal 🍷🍕💃🏼I have a small/medium sized dog who is incredibly obedient and well trained. Contact me if you wish to team up or think I'd make a great roomie ☺️👋🏼
Hi, I am young & pretty down to earth. I am mostly quiet at times and enjoy company from time to time. I usually keep to myself & consider myself as independent & still developing. I like to meet new people and like building networks in and out of work etc.
Hi there, names Erin :) I'm a second year uni student, work part time. Super easy going person, happy to share bathrooms and coordinate dinners or not depending on what you're up for. I would prefer a room mate that enjoys hanging out on occasion, whether that be staying in and having a Netflix binge or heading out for the night. I'm definitely a social person but also really value my alone time. Looking for a place preferably shared with young females but I'm pretty open to whatever pops up in a good location for me :)
Hi, I am an early childhood teacher relocating to canberra in a week time, and looking for a single room in shared accommodation. I am originally from Italy, the land of yummy food! I am pretty good at cooking, even if I enjoy small and healthy meals. I love socialising and having a chat over a glass of wine, but I also respect people's spaces and privacy. Please hit me up if you have something available in Forde or Gungahlin Area! Thank you Maria
Forde is an excellent suburb, open and spacious with lots of green areas. We are at the end of the lake in Forde so we have beautiful views over the lake. Our house is a 2 min walk from the bus stop. You can go for a nice 7km run around the lake here. We have 1 student room available which is spacious and sunny. It is a shared bathroom between maximum of 3 students, with each their own sink. We have a cute dog that is small, a jack russel crossed with a chihuahua, who loves cuddles and is harmless.
I am a friendly student currently studying my masters in education online; I work part-time and am reliable with paying bills. I am quiet and considerate of others and am also very clean. I am approachable, easy going and respect others space but am always up for a chat or movie night. I do have a cat who will also be coming to live with me.
House is actually on Warup Street in Moncrieff, the site doesn't seem to have that available though as it's a new suburb. Private rooms available in a brand new house. The rooms are 11 square metres, have privacy locking doors and are unfurnished. I'm happy to organise furnishings for you if required. They also include closet space. Unlimited NBN is included in the rent, all other bills are split. The house has a main lounge room with couches and TV. Kitchen and attached dining/living area, with another couch and TV for good measure. There are three bedrooms available and with a shared bathroom. There is also a spacious deck out back with a BBQ for entertaining. Finally, there is a parking space available for whoever gets in first.
Hi, quite room available in a relatively new 4 bedroom house in Forde (Northern Canberra). Sharing with one male owner (50) and one Female Uni student. Off street parking. Buses close by and I travel to Belconnen each day for work. Big downstairs area, 2 private areas for tv, dinning room, nice modern kitchen. 3 outdoor areas for quite times. Not much of a party person, so more suited to non party types (students, travelers, non-couples). Prefer to do own food shopping/cooking and meals. However open to some shared meals and cooking. Lake close by for walks as well as bushland and parks. Bike paths everywhere, can ride to Belconnen in 30 mins. Buses into the city or Belconnen easy to catch. There is a morning express bus directly from Forde to the city and beyond with the bus stop only 100 meters from house. Occasionally like to travel to coast, camping or nearby towns. Other times, like the documentary shows on tv, Big Bang Theory, movies, current affairs and some real life shows. But two tv rooms so can easily have different tv viewing habits. Bills and internet could be included if moderate use only - Internet plan is not an unlimited plan. Parking may have to be on the street or there is one space in the driveway, safe area and under street-light. Prefer people who know how to clean up after themselves and are tidy/respectful of others in the house. Shared with other ladies and international students/backpackers before and we shared house hold cleaning, washing dishes, etc. Have had students, female international backpackers and male professionals staying here. females from mid 20's upwards have been best tenants. Will be one Female Uni Student and Male owner at the moment. Elec, gas and water bills can be included along with internet if moderate use otherwise can discuss. Any questions, message me and I should be able to answer them, look forward to hearing from you.
Awesome suburban house with all facilities included, including a bathtub! Room has built in wardrobes and can come furnished or unfurnished, inquire within. Ducted heating or cooling. Share house with owner but have your own section of the house without disturbance. Telstra NBN Internet connection to stream, game etc. Please no pets or smokers.
Lots of space (5 acres), lovely views, only one neighbour, spacious house, unusual bathroom, pretty quiet despite being on a major-ish road. Includes garage/workshop and 3-bay farm shed. Plenty of space for parking, gardening, animals, project cars. Easy commute to Mitchell (20 mins), Belconnen (25-30), Fairbairn/Brindabella Park/Majura/Campbell Park/Russell (45-60), depending on traffic, destination and route. Local village has petrol station & quick-e mart, postal agency, pub, hamburger shop, cafe, restaurant, vet, rural supplier, hair dresser, doctor. Recreational facilities include pony club, adult riding club, wineries, karate. Easy 20 minutes to Yass for other supplies, entertainment, sport. About 40 mins to Lake Burrinjuck for boating, camping and bush walking. Happy to negotiate pets, ponies, livestock, project vehicles, boats, bikes etc.

Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
