Our current housemate has been with us for 2 years - sad to have her leave. Our home is quiet, tidy and we are expecting whoever stays to be respectful and similar in character. Other than sharing the laundry we would share the kitchen too. That's it. We have our own bedroom, bathroom, living and dining area upstairs. The space for rent is located downstairs. We do have a kelpie puppy called Roux. She isn't allowed downstairs into what would be your area. We are asking for $270/wk ($1,170/month) for a single person. We would split bills 3 ways for water and electricity usage. The house is located on a huge block, is a 2 min drive to Gymea Station and 10 min drive to Cronulla Beach or the Royal National Park. This living area also boasts an open fireplace, French doors opening onto wrap around balconies taking you into the garden with a babbling creek running along the length of the property. The kitchen, less than two years old, includes all as new appliances and stone bench tops. There will also be an additional fridge and freezer available. Laundry area includes a washing machine and outdoor clothesline. The downstairs has two bedrooms. One is available to rent, brightly lit, huge built in robe, French doors opening onto the backyard. All the other flatmates are located upstairs so it is quite private. *Now occupied The other room remains for the owners and their young son. The owners travel frequently and often for long durations for work contracts. *Update; owners moving interstate for long term contract and will only return to Sydney for short trips to see family. The home is 10-15 minutes walk to Gymea Village and train station and a bus runs from the end of the street. Westfield Miranda is a 5 minute drive, Cronulla beaches is 15 minutes. Train to CBD is 45 minutes, airport is 50 minutes. There is a lovely bushtrack running alongside the creek that takes you down to Gymea Baths and estuary. During the day, the trees are filled with kookaburras, cockatoos, currawongs and lorikeets. At night the sounds of frogs can be heard in the creek and you may even be so lucky to hear our local Powerful Owl. All the neighbours are particularly quiet so the peacefulness and the sounds of nature in the surrounds are really wonderful. New TPG WIFI installed. All bills included. N
Hi There... I'm Lance Aligiannis a creative, web developer, musician, digital artist and all that other computer nerd stuff too... but really I'm trying to convince the world I'm a rockstar.. lol. Also a leading hand with cabin services on the tarmac crew, a piece of airport furniture :) Very clean and well presented, like my own space and the company of others also. I don't smoke at all and I don't drink often (The odd glass of wine is definitely my speed), I'm not a party guy either. Let me now introduce my lovely well behaved toilet trained cat... Midnight. He is a real sweetheart and loves a cuddle or two. Also I have a small tank of tropical fish. 2 min drive from Miranda fair and a 5 min walk from the Gymea Bay Rd cafe strip. A very handy 10 mins in the car to Cronulla if you love the beach. Close to princes highway which helps with commutes to the city or down south.

Fully furnished apartment (bedroom has a tallboy). Super quiet, awesome location. Added bonus of a beautiful pool ready for those summer days. Literally 3min walk to the train and shops.
