Currently looking for a room or to team up with some like minded fun people. I have been living in Reid for the last 18 months but the landlord is selling the house so time to move! I'm 25 play a lot of sport during the week and go to the snow over the weekends. I am outdoorsy and social and enjoy a wine or beer with housemates. I have been in share houses since I was 18 and like to think I know how to behave in one by now :) I would like to live out of the inner suburbs with a little bit more space like Hackett or O'connor.
Hi my name is Ian and I'm currently employed at the Canberra hospital as a registered nurse working full time more than 40 hours a week. I own my own car and am able to pay rent on time. My previous landlords, house mates and friends consider me a reliable and respectful tenant. I have a 5 month old, well-behaved rag doll kitten that I keep clean. I am passionate about anime and learning, and consider myself a responsible and tidy tenant.
Hey there! I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a very clean and trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and I'm quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you!
- The house is directly across the road from IGA and Wilburs Cafe/Bar. - We're close to the Mount Majura and Mount Ainslie walking trails. - It's an easy 10 minute drive or 20 minute cycle into the city - 25 minute walk to Dickson
I am a full time graphic designer working at a firm in Mitchell. I have been moving around Canberra at the moment and would like to find somewhere I can settle into. I am keen for a social atmosphere but am also a big fan of a book and some down time. I have my doggo Beans, who has been living everywhere I do for 3 years now and is a fantastic housemate. We both enjoy running and camping, so might duck off every other weekend to do so. If the idea of a doggo both excited and scares you he is really well behaved, and is guaranteed to love any one that he meets - happy to give some references for his behaviour too!
We are a couple of 23 year old females - a bartender and a community health worker relocating from NSW to Canberra as one of us previously lived there. Due to our professions we both keep a very tidy house out of habit, we're friendly, approachable, excellent at a good budget and reliable with money (one of us is a frugality freak with our income, haha). We're not party people, we like to have a place to go back to and relax that's called home, free of tension. As we're relocating from NSW we don't know many people in Canberra so we'll have the occasional question about it - only if good old google can't help. We like nature walks and things like that as one of us is a semi practicing Buddhist (guess which one, the lover of all things frugal). We're not sure what else we can say, we're lovely people to live with - just looking for a new place to call home. Feel free to contact us with any questions or queries. Kayley and Camille

Hello, My home is a few minutes walk from the bus stop and if you have a car I have enough space for parking. Each room has air conditioning and heating. I am constantly making more and more amenities for the guests comfort. One room has a mini fridge, microwave and toaster. You can have complete privacy. The only request I have is to clean up after yourself if you choose to use the kitchen and also leave the bathroom tidy.
Located in Ainslie, with a bus stop just down the road and both Dickson and Ainslie shops just a walk away this house is very central to all of Canberra. The room is on the smaller side but can fit a queen size bed and some other furnishings, there is a built in robe for convenience and gives you fair space for storage. The house comprises of two other couples and one man that has his son and partner visit whenever possible. This never interrupts anyone though. Most are working while 2 others are helping make the house more homely and comfortable. The living areas are bright and sunny, the backyard is huge and home to 2 wonderful dogs. While everyone loves time to themselves these people are always open to having a chat and a good laugh. Internet is not included in rent, however you get access for just $10 extra a week. Move in available next week, but sooner can be arranged for convenience. *pictures will be uploaded later today
Modern, clean and spacious house in a great location and a modern gas kitchen which is great for cooking. Mount Ainslie reserve is just a block away so you can easily enjoy the outdoors. Your room is unfurnished with built in wardrobes, its own bathroom with a large bath and separate toilet. Central air-conditioning keeps the house comfortable all year round. All the mod-cons including dishwasher and combo clothes washer/dryer.

Hey, my name's Daniel! I'm a 2015 psychology graduate currently working full-time in the public service. I'm looking for a place close to the city, or somewhere near a bus stop. I've got furniture for my room, but can also offer an iron and ironing board, digital piano, and a chest freezer. The place I'm looking for would ideally have an ensuite, covered parking space, dishwasher, washing machine, and a bedroom with enough space for a queen bed and large desk. I am looking to rent for a period of 6-12+ months, with a fairly flexible move in date. My ideal housemate/s would be friendly, sociable (but also understanding of personal space), tidy, and of either gender. I believe it's important to have a coffee/beer/dinner every now and then so we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other, but I completely understand if you want your space! Let me know if you're looking for a housemate and I'd be more than happy to have a chat!
I am currently looking for a friendly, easy-going household, with people who I can have a good conversation with over a cup of tea or go out for a drink with. I am generally a busy person and have varied interests. My time is divided by my work (full time public servant), friends, gym, art, and travel. However, I like staying home some nights cooking, reading, listening to music and just generally relaxing. I don't mind living with just one housemate or multiple. I get along with mostly anyone, but would like to live with people who are considerate and generally tidy. Mostly though I would like to live with people who I can be friends with with and who are interested in people. My favourite things are my friends and family, traveling, galleries and museums, hiking and spending time outdoors, cycling, farmers markets (and food generally), a good book, and coffee times in the morning. Please also note that I am flexible with the move date as I am keen to find people who will love living with me as much as I love living with them.
Hi! My name's Queen, I'm Nigerian and I'm 18 (19 in may).I'm a tidy and neat individual who has respect for personal space. I'm currently in my third year at ACU studying Education (Primary)- fulltime. Although I may like to keep to myself at times, I do enjoy the occassional chat and dinner. Not that much of a social butterfly so there's barely any house visits. I do enjoy listening to music though (alot!) I'm a total dog lover so it's not a problem at all if your house is pet friendly! Currently looking for a space in north canberra. My budget is from 150 - 165/week . Bills included preferably.
Hey all so I'm a 29yo guy working full time with Unisys who has been about the block with share houses for a while now so I've got the routine sorted. I'm pretty busy during the week at the moment with overtime but I love cooking, reading and having some good times be it a simple cuppa or a games night among housemates but lets be hones who doesn't like some sneaky UNO and a few drinks. Hoping to find some people to share with, either an existing house or to form a new one, that like to have dinners together that I can bounce recipes off and have a good time. As for socialising I regularly go to the movies with friends every Tuesday and you're more than welcome to join the group. I love the going out to wine and dine the night away occasionally at a good restaurant so if dining is your thing hit me up
Hey Hey I'm a pretty layed back kind of chick that works full time as a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic. I'm clean and tidy. I'm in to music and love sharing new finds. I have quite the skateboard collection, i love skating and snowboarding. I'm pretty outdoorsy. I'm always up for a chat over a drink. I'm very easy going and completely understand privacy. I moved to Canberra only a couple of months ago. I'm living with my brother in a big sharehouse. I'm looking to find something smaller and hopefully cleaner!

I am not really an extrovert but I like to be part of a group with different interests. I enjoy watching sports like rugby cricket and soccer. I really love music and sometimes do shows as a rapper! I like going out and socialising too.
I am a very clean and tidy person. Willing to care for the home as if it was my own. I make a good stir fry and scrambled eggs, or making toast. Looking to join a share house which understands the need for space, but up for a meal a few times a week. NBN Internet is a big big positive.
