Upstairs there are four bedrooms (one is a spare); and a huge living area with the comfiest couch you've ever sat on. The large kitchen is fully equipped and a nice hub of the house. The downstairs area is shared with one other, it's got a newly renovated bathroom that you share, and an under-utilised living area/kitchenette (we tend to use the big upstairs living area and kitchen). The house also has a massive backyard, ping pong table, and heaps of books and boardgames!
Heya, I've just finished studying population health at ANU and work as a nurse in the Woden Valley. I have a cat named Beck who is 11yo who spends most of her time napping, watching the world go by or purring loudly. I adult quite well, I pay my rent and I clean. I’m respectful and honest. I like nature and learning, music and peaceful sleep-ins. For fun I like to dance or ride my bike, rest in my hammock, have a drink with friends or binge watch Netflix. I'm a vegetarian and a feminist. I'm usually trying to be a better human than i was last month. I have to move because there is a big leak in my current place! I’m looking for somewhere big enough to fit a queen bed and desk. I'm interested in is a ground-floor apartment or a house.
I am a pretty easy going person. I love to have a chat but am also mindful of when people want a bit of space. My ideal household is one where there is a good group dynamic and where you will do the odd thing as a household but also are independent. I am a keen brewer, the only problem being while I love to brew I actually don't drink that much beer (good for those around me). I pursued this at Uni level but haven't taken it professional. I am involved in amateur theatre and that keeps me off the streets. I also love to garden, even if it is just maintaining the garden and have all the tools. I am an experienced renter and housemate and understand the need to get involved in the running of the household otherwise you are essentially asking someone else to carry the load. I have a super friendly staffy which I walk regularly both in the morning and evening. Lets face it, he essentially takes me for the walk. I work full time.
20 year old female Very mature. Super clean. Great cook. Social but also appreciate and respect privacy and keep to myself. Smoker. Unemployed, on benefits so still receiving payment, looking to get back into studying/workforce. Looking for a cheap room to rent, flexible on rental time, preferably minimum a couple of months. Recently left in a horrible financial situation so no/cheap bond would be greatly appreciated. Furnished is preferred but not necessary. Anywhere in Canberra. Bills inc is preferred but not necessary. Feel free to message/call/email with any questions or queries. Kind regards, Ari B 😊
Hi, I'm an Engineering student at ANU. I can contribute around the house such as cooking, cleaning etc. I'm a pretty outgoing individual who's laid back and always down for a laugh. I don't smoke or drink, however I don't mind being around people who drink. I can reliably provide rent as I have a job at ALDI. I like video games, and love watching movies of various genres. I respect personal space and love pets. I am currently looking for places closer to the CBD and would love to find some flatmates :)
I'm a third year commerce student at the ANU who just returned from exchange. Looking for somewhere to stay until the end of the year (but can be flexible)! I'm respectful, social, tidy, and always down for a beer or two with housemates.
Hi, I'm Louis. I'm originally from Melbourne, and currently in my fourth year of an Arts/Languages double degree at ANU, going on to honours next year. I am a cheerful, tranquil person, and also respectful, tidy and studious. :)
I am 19, currently in Perth but looking for a quiet space to call home for 2-3 months while i'm in Canberra. I've had experience in share housing during my time travelling. I'm tidy, love to cook, I'm an outdoors person but love a good movie night.
Hi, I'm a 20-year-old International Relations student studying and working at ANU. I'm looking to move into an existing lease or into a new lease with one to two other people, with a preference for unfurnished rooms. I'm after a room big enough to fit a queen bed and a good-sized desk comfortably. I'm clean, quiet and I pay bills on time. I don't mind a bit of mess but also like to do a general tidy/clean every week. I enjoy going out for a drink, cooking, reading and binge-watching comedy shows on Netflix. I keep to myself but am certainly up for the occasional shared meal or drink. I'm really not into big parties or events, so I'm not interested in a big house warming party. That's not to say I don't want guests at the house, just not a big, loud event. Ideal flatmates would be fellow students or young professionals. My ideal locations are somewhere in North Canberra, Belconnen or Woden. Essentially somewhere that's within 15-20minutes of the city and ANU. I'm looking to spend around $300 a week on rent, utilities and Wi-Fi. A car space is desirable.
Hi I'm Laura. I studied at the ANU last year and am planning on moving back to Canberra soon! I'm pretty easy going, friendly and reliable. I am well "house trained" and like to have a clean space. I'm looking for a low maintenance place to move into with easy going houemate/s more than happy to chip in and help, up for a friendly chat but also like to have their space. About me: I enjoy sports and the outdoors Majored in Crim and Enviro studies Love a good brunch Flick me a message 😊
I am clean and adapt to any environment very quickly.... Pursuing my masters in public policy at ANU... Love talking politics, outdoors and playing cricket. From a country with 1.2 billion people, so I could use a little quiet time. But again I'm from a country of 1.2 billion people, so please chat with me so that I don't get homesick? I will occasionally force feed you Indian food that I cook ... but trust me, my cooking is delicious.
I am stereotypical Canberran who is addicted to coffee, yoga and works in the public service. I volunteer at the RSPCA walking the dogs so i always have cute videos and photos to share. I am heading to the NT from the 11th to the 26th of April so i won't be able to move in until late April, early May but happy to start paying earlier. I'm keen to move into a social house, by that I don't mean a party house (i have had that experience before and I'm not keen to do it anymore haha) I just like sharehouses that are like a home instead of feeling like you are just renting the room. My friend's and I take it in turns to have Sunday night dinners and play board games. I also enjoy a beer in the sun but much more likely to have afternoon beers than party until the sun comes up. Feel free to contact me with any other questions :)
