Clean, mature and friendly house mate. Enjoy my own space by happy to be around others. I have a dog, well trained Kelpie who is 100% outside dog. Guarantee you’ll love him
Hey hey hey. I'm a full time worker. But I don't work the average 9-5 hours. Start a little later and therefore finish a little later. I'm incredibly tidy and clean. Like to think I am easy going. Can provide a washing machine, fridge, television, dining table and other communal furniture. Not looking to share with more than one other person. Any further questions don't hesitate to shoot me through some questions!
Hello, just found out my beautiful Watson house is being sold and I'm taking it as an opportunity for a bit of a change. I'm a tidy artist, I love cooking, always keen for a chat but respectful of space. I work at the National Gallery at the moment and I'm just about to go to Japan for three weeks!
Hey! We're a couple moving down to Canberra in Jan/Feb 2019 for work/study. Elena is starting her PhD at ANU, and Oskar is starting work at the ATO. We're both very flexible people - we appreciate the need for private bedroom space, but will happily chill in the living space with other housemates after work and on weekends. Around the house we're both very low maintenance, the sort of people who'll make the effort to wash up the dishes in the evening so we don't have to deal with it in the morning. In her spare time, Elena loves reading, drinking tea, and playing hockey. Oskar plays a lot of ultimate frisbee, listens to music, and enjoys being out-and-about. We're both casual trumpet players, though we only practice once or twice a week so don't worry about the noise! We're looking for 1-3 people to share a house with somewhere within 7km or so (cycling distance) of ANU. We don't have any strong preferences in housemates, as long as they're roughly 18-30yrs old, don't smoke inside the house, and are socially accepting people. We hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a full time professional looking for a tidy share with nice housemate(s), preferably a master bedroom. I drive, gym, cook, read, socialize etc. I'm great to live with and easy going. I have a bed, desk etc, Happy to share a meal occasionally.
Born in Melbourne, studied in Western Australia, and working in Queensland. My next venture is a PhD in Canberra at ANU. I will be arriving in Canberra around the start of October. If you have somewhere for me to stay i'm keen for a chat.
I am an international student doing his master’s in management and information systems from ANU. (no, I'm not boring, my degree is) Generally, I'm pretty chilled out and of helpful demeanour and get along with people quite easily. I like to play, follow and watch sports, also some drama and sitcoms. I'm a vegetarian and I often cook my meals and love to share my food. Also, I don`t mind a beer or wine every now then and always up for a good chat. I'm pretty good with my bills and rent payments as well and I like my surroundings clean and organised though not obsessed about it. If there's anything else, you would like to know about me please feel free to message me. 🙂
Hey I am Imogen! I am a fun and happy gal. Currently studying Social Work at ACU. Moved to Canberra at the start of last year for uni. Working part-time. I am chilled and relaxed and like to have a bit of a yarn :) Also love some Netflix and down time!
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Adelaide in Feb 2019 to start as an APS Graduate (I know that's still a long time away but I thought I might try and get a jump on the crowds..) I'm looking for a share house of people who are easy going, who enjoy sharing a meal and a few drinks, but who are also respectful of the need to have time alone. I've lived in share houses for the last couple of years and have loved it - I'm friendly, very relaxed and more than happy to pull my weight with cleaning, cooking etc etc all that fun stuff. A little more about myself... I love hiking, camping and getting outdoors, I try to ride my bike wherever I can, and I try to live sustainably. I enjoy cooking (especially Mexican nights and Taco Tuesdays) and Netflix binging in my free time. If you think we'd get along and you might have a free room around the start of 2019 please let me know! Cheers :)
I'm a recent graduate from Adelaide who has recently moved to Canberra to start a job with the APS. I love languages (I speak Dutch and Japanese), music, and indoor plants. In my spare time, you'll find me reading, gardening, watching Netflix, or tending to my love of indoor plants. I enjoy my own space and respect others, but am also impartial to a glass of wine and a cheese board at the end of the day. I've lived in share houses before, so I get how it all works. Let me know if you think I'd be a good fit! Looking forward to hearing from you.
Just a silly lad without a dad who enjoys making people laugh. Also I make a pretty mean salsa. I know how to turn on a vacuum and push a broom across the floor. Currently studying year 12 so I’ll be out of the house mon - fri. I’m a dam good artist and self professed comedian but I understand when to be serious. Not to mention I’m a lean mean Netflix watching maciene . 🤪 I can also provide some pretty good references on request😊
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
I'm a friendly and respectful UNI student! I'm here to study but I love making new friends, having a chat and doing fun things. I'm super tidy and am very aware when living with other people.
Hey guys, my name is eden. Due to unforseen circumstances I am currently homeless and sleeping on a couch and really can't keep this up. I'm a quiet little musician and nerd, I generally keep to myself but I'm a real chill guy, I love to cook and share meals, even if no one else likes to. I'm always down to do something with the house or help you out with tech or whatever. I can pay up to about $150, though maybe a little more for the right place. I'd love to hear from you soon Eden MacGillivray
Hi all, I'm looking for someone to share my flat with me. At this stage I'm looking for someone for around 3-6 months with a view for a longer stay. Who you'll be sharing with: I'm a 30yo (m) art school graduate studying my masters in teaching and working a casual corporate job. You'll need to be cat friendly, but she spends a lot of time outside. The bedroom could probably handle a double bed and some other furnishings but a single bed would work better for space for a desk etc. There is also a large built-in wardrobe in the room. The bathroom is newly renovated and the flat gets nice light in all rooms. Hackett is a quiet neighbourhood with surrounding bushland for exploration. Close to Ainslie, Watson, Downer and Dickson and a quick bike ride into the city if you're so inclined. I'm a friendly introvert that likes a chat and a drink on occasion but I also respect people's privacy. Open to sharing groceries etc but it is not a given. As this is a smallish flat for two indepe dent people, above average levels of courtesy may be required at times. Suitable for post-grads.
Two ANU students who are keen for a share house. Both super respectful and want to have a good relationship with housemates. Love to do some communal cooking or have a garden and are always down for some netflix or hang out. Eve works quite a bit and is also involved in student theatre, while Isobel works a little and does rowing.
Fully furnished (except your room), with ducted heating/AC, seperate laundry, unlimited internet, off street parking, plenty of space for a bike in the lovely grassed backyard, and a great TV entertainment system. Your room can fit a double bed, has a built-in wardrobe and big windows that looks out onto the background. We’re located near the Dickson and Watson shops, and a bus stop across the road. We’re looking for someone who is social; keen for movie nights, have dinner and a drink, but also respectful of each other’s space. Note: we also have a spare queen bed frame, if you don't have room furnishings yet :)
I just moved here and I'm still setting it up and learning its quirks and the benefits of living in this part of town. It is easy to get anywhere in town from here. There are a few shopping areas in walking distance to pick from. Buses stop a few houses away if you need that. It has evidently been well looked after and has new carpet, a gas stove, plenty of hot water and the temperature stays comfortable even with no heater on all but the coldest nights. Which room you'd have is up for negotiating and it would be based on need as they are different sizes with different amounts of storage.
Welcome to the Fortress of Awesome! We have a room going for one lucky buddy in our share house of respectful awesomeness. Kick ass location! 5 minute walk to Watson shops, 5 minute drive to Dickson. You can get to the city in about 10 minutes by car (20 by bike). The bus stop is super close too if you're brave enough to use public transport. #Envirofriendly #ThePowerIsYours Nice big house with a big yard in a peaceful suburb. We're clean, respectful and enjoy stimulating conversation (sometimes over a drink or two). Sadly, pets are not allowed to live here though. Bond is $520. Rent is paid fortnightly. Bills are split. Dont pee in the shower... :D
Hi prospective housemates, I work full time and spend most of nights at gym lifting (heavy) stuff ( at least to me) with occasional carido sessions 😂 I'm easy going, happy for a chat also know how to respect others privacy. Like to keep things organised clean and tidy. Preferred location would be Bruce, Belconnen, Lawson, Macquarie ( only those new townhouse/units), and then will consider Franklin, Watson, lyneham, etc... Hit me up if you have something available Thanks !
Full time trade and working in Hopso on Friday and Saturday night. Vegetarian that likes to cook, easy going happy to have a chat but also value's privacy and other people's space. I am rarely at home due to sporting commitments Clean and tidy :)
Hi i'm Nick, relatively new to Canberra and looking to join a share house. I work full time with the Ambulance service. I have 5 years experience living in share houses. I am very flexible with a move in date, just let me know. I am very easy to get along with, I enjoying getting out and about and trying new things. I would love to find a house that is social and friendly. My hobbies are cycling, cricket, soccer and finding pets to play with. Thanks!
** Thanks I have found a house! ** Hi, my name is Sam, my 11 yr old Spoodle dog and I are moving back to Canberra from Brisbane in early September and looking for a room in inner north or inner south Canberra. My dog is a very friendly poodle mix, so non shedding and house trained. He is a funny boy who will make you laugh. He loves other dogs so if there is already a dog in the house that would be great. I run a creative small business (internet and markets based) and work part time in retail as well. I am from Canberra so already know the community well and have missed it! I am a quiet home body type, young at heart, fun, considerate and reliable. I don’t have to live with any particular ages, am currently sharing with people in their thirties. I’m a non drinker and non smoker, don’t mind if you are a light drinker, but am not after a party house. Am happy to team up and rent a house with 1-2 others.
Hello! I’m a female student doing masters at the ANU. I’ve been living on campus in the past year, and I’m thinking to spend my last semester outside the uni, so that I can get a chance to enjoy a different environment with inspiring people. I'm a friendly and easy-going person, hardworking and a bit of obsessed with cleanliness xd so I am always excited whenever I have to do house-cleaning activities (it does help to release stress from uni workload though!). I love cooking and enjoy watching films and reading books. Always be happy to have nice conversations with everyone about anything. Cheers!
I am currently a student at CMA. (on gap year at Uc) Originally from Nz, but my parents are from South America so I can speak spanish. I am a very social and outgoing person, I love getting to know new people. I currently have two budgies, so yes i love animals :) and I have a smallcamper trailer with me and will need space to sit it. I am independent and clean after myself, so that wont be an issue. I also wouldn't mind sharing a meal every now and then and chatting about our day. For fun I Like play music, binge watch netflix, play board games, every now and then go to civic, and catching up with Friends :)
Real estate professional who works 6 days a week - I love catching up with my roomie over a bevvie and a nice meal every now and then, but most of my time is spent at work, the gym, or binge watching Parks and Rec. I have a funny cat named Whiskey who is toilet trained and very well behaved, if not just a little weird. She is a bit nervous most of the time so she will stay out of your way if you're not a huge cat fan. Not ready to move until around October due to my current lease, but I come with all my own furniture if you're looking to team up, and can easily store some if not :)
Hey I'm Liana and I'm a creative person who adores fantasy books and movies, i love video games. I'm currently working full time at prime seven. I'm a bit shy but still enjoy making friends. Atm I am trying to get myself fit because i hope to join the police one day. I'm fairly neat, i will never leave a mess l especially in a common area. I don't smoke or have any other health issues. I've never had a problem paying bills so you don't need to worry about me being late on payment. I am really looking forward to finding a place in canberra and making new friends.
I'm Oregan, im a student at ACU studying nursing and paramedicince. I'm a friendly, respectful person who's always up for a laugh. I enjoy cooking, movies, getting outside, all animals and just enjoying other peoples company. I have a part time job and full time uni which takes up most of my time but I won't be a housemate who you never see.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
My name is Tash I'm 24 years old and making the big move up to Canberra in October from Melbourne. I'm starting a new job at a Sydney radio station on the 22nd of Oct so ideally looking to move into a place a few days before that. I like to think I'm super easy going, friendly and most certainly clean and tidy without being too ocd about it! I'm super keen to find a place which will make my transition nice and easy and hope that my housemates can take me under their wing! However, I certainly understand that everyone has their own lives going on and the need for space. If you think you'd like to live with me I'd love to hear from you!
My name is Ahmed and I'm 32 years old. I work as an assistant lecturer/research assistant. At the same time I'm a 3rd year PhD student at ANU, studying molecular biology at JCSMR. I'm a very respectful, quiet, clean, responsible, non-smoking and tidy person. At the weekend, I like to enjoy cooking and sharing my food with my housemates. I have been living in Dickson for the past year. Looking for a room reasonably close to ANU. I'm flexible with the duration of the lease and ready to move on the 16th of Sept.

Hi, I'm Lauren. I've recently got an administrative full time job in the public service and looking to move in mid July. I'm neat, quiet and easy to get along with. I like the occasional glass of wine and watch some TV in the evenings. I will be interested in how your day went but will respect your privacy at the same time. I'm also quite interested in french language and culture so if you have any passion or knowledge of this too, that would be amazing!
Hello, I always find these hard... I'm friendly, easy going and enjoy the simple things. I'm independent, respect and appreciate personal space and peace while also being up for a yarn and laughs. My loves include dogs, long walks, spring days and eating ice cream. Bec
