I'm a 46 year old professional from Sydney working for a company in Braddon. I'm planning to stay only 4 nights as I will be travelling to back to Sydney for the weekend.
Looking to join a sharehouse or team up and start a new one.. About me : Fully employed, financially independent. Creative soul. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Looking for a large room, or seperate space to setup my studio desk. Enjoy travelling, going on walks / hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, or wherever the day takes me. Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Ideally : i'd be sharing with some awesome, creative type people, who enjoy a meal / get together, but who also respect each others space. The usual really. Have a small bunch of furniture - couch, fridge, microwave, bed, desks, bookshelves, etc... If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Anthony.
I have pretty simple needs and I keep things pretty straightforward. I usually manage all my priorities by my self like cooking, cleaning etc and sticking to the household necessities. I like occasional amiable chit chats with flatmates as long as everybody is in their comfort zone. I'll be graduating from ANU in mid-July so I need an accommodation somewhere around that time. ** If it sounds like we can work out things, drop me a message and I'll respond**
My name is Ahmed and I'm 32 years old. I work as an assistant lecturer/research assistant. At the same time I'm a 3rd year PhD student at ANU, studying molecular biology at JCSMR. I'm a very respectful, quiet, clean, responsible, non-smoking and tidy person. At the weekend, I like to enjoy cooking and sharing my food with my housemates. I have been living in Dickson for the past year. Looking for a room reasonably close to ANU. I'm flexible with the duration of the lease and ready to move as soon as possible.
Hi! I'm an APS graduate looking for a new place since my lovely current housemates are both coupling up. I'm originally from Melbourne, living in Lyneham and would love to stay in north Canberra, within ~30 minute cycling distance of work in NewActon. As a housemate I'm very friendly, considerate and reasonably tidy. I keep very busy, but I love a friendly housemate debrief at the end of the day. I'm vego but I don't care what other people cook or eat. I've lived in sharehouses for many years with great friendly/respectful vibes and I'd love to find that again in my next place. I come with a very cute and well behaved 9 year old Maltese x Cavalier doggo. She gets walks every day so she doesn't need much space, and mostly keeps to herself but will be your best friend once she gets to know you. I know some landlords are reluctant to accept pets, but she is a wonderful tenant, doesn't shed and comes with great references from my current and previous properties. I'm hoping to move somewhere by the 12th of July. Hoping to hear from anyone who thinks their place might be a good fit!
I am a professional engineer, working full-time for the public service. Originally from Melbourne, I enjoy playing flute, reading, and the odd bit of painting. I'm a fairly quiet person who likes to keep tidy surroundings but am OK with pets.
Hi, I work full-time and this is my sixth year living in Canberra. I have previous share house experience and am friendly, clean and considerate. Always up for a chat and enjoy socialising but also understand the need for space and downtime and am respectful of others in that regard :) Flexible with move-in date from anywhere in June/July or even August.
Hi there, I’m looking for a new place since the current house I’m in is splitting up next month. I’m a 21 year old guy from rural NSW who is working for Google's Project Wing. I’ve been sharing my current house with 4 other people and I am used to cooking and a bit of house banter as well as keeping areas clean and sharing bathrooms. I usually do a bit of tinkering, hiking, photography and mountain biking in my spare time. Let me know if you would be interested in sorting something out. Cheers Marcus
Hi I'm monique A young professional looking for a place to call home with my dog Nala Easy going, tidy and respectful. Up for a laugh but also not a very rowdy person If you'd like to meet me and show me what room you have available shoot me a message!
Our home is located in Watson, just a few minutes walk to Hackett's shops and a 1 minute walk to the closest bus stop. With a 3 min drive to Dickson Shops and a 10 minute drive to civic, this property is located close to everything you need. With Mt Majura is just a stone throw away for all you mountain bike lovers. The vacant room is in a modern share house in Watson. The house is on Antill Street near Dickson and the Australian Catholic University. The house comes with internet, gas cooking and heating, air conditioning, fridge, and dishwasher. There are 2 undercover car parking spaces, and enough off-street parking for the housemates and guests. The room is unfurnished. It's $200 per week for one person, changing price for couples. With a shared toilet and a bathroom. There's a garden, shed, and covered area out the back, which is great for parties and BBQs. There's also a washing line. During winter, monthly bills are: * $50 electricity * $30 gas * $20 internet Gas and electricity are cheaper in summer. Feel free to msg us a little about your self! :)
Hi! I'm a 24 year old professional who is about to endure their second winter in Canberra after moving down from Queensland. I enjoy spending most of my spare time in the outdoors rock climbing, hiking, camping and mountain biking. I'm social yet also enjoy some me time, would enjoy long walks along the beach if Canberra had any, and am looking for housemates who have at least basic survival skills (keep tidy etc). Get in touch if you have a room and think I'd be a good housemate!
We are a married couple. I am a visiting scholar at ANU and my wife is an architect who is looking for a job position in Canberra. We are not wasteful. We are quite, tidy and easygoing. We don't have any kids or pets. Also, we are not smoky and alcoholic.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
My name is Emilia, I've been in Canberra for almost a year now and work full time at a university. I'm looking to find a nice and friendly sharehouse that I can call my home for a little while :) I've sharehoused previously. I'm neat and tidy, I like to catch up and have a chat with housemates at the end of the day but also keep pretty busy trying to get out for a walk or some yoga after work, and respect the need for down time.
Hi. I am a student, planning to move to Canberra in mid July. I will be studying Full-time at ANU, doing my M.Sc in Neuroscience. I am a low-profile person, who will be spending most of his time either at college or at a part-time job. I am flexible with almost everything. Looking for a room, with close vicinity or good accessibility to ANU. If not close, there should be a bus station or other transit nearby. Term of stay is at least 2 months and preferably more. I might extend to even a year or more, if the stay is good. There should be good heating and air conditioning. I am flexible with parking.
Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
Hi, I've just taken a job with Channel 7 in Canberra and will be making a move from Victoria in the next few weeks. I'm easy to live with, sociable, and love going for a beer after work. I keep things neat and tidy, and although I'm probably not the world's best cook, I like to give it a regular go. Like my sport, and pretty eager to join a local club or two- although being a Vic, I know nothing about NRL. I'm keen to meet new people in a new city.
Im easy going, have an amazingly well trained puppy who loves people, currently working full time whilst studying part time, avid gym goer and movie connoisseur. looking for a place when i move back to canberra near where ill be working as a youth worker :)
