Hi guys! I am looking for a house to settle into. I am currently a full time student, and work on the weekends. I like to keep things pretty tidy and keep pretty busy but am very tempted by the occasional wine and cheese night or even boogie!
Great location. Close to both Tafe and the Uni while only being 10-15 minutes into Newcastle and the beaches. Walking distance to two sets of shops and 3 separate bus lines, as well as Waratah station. Also close to parks and a couple of services. House has air conditioning. House is fully furnished with the exception of the room. Happy to negotiate furnishings, but I've found so far that most people much prefer their own bed! I have included all bills and internet in the rent, but if you want we can work on that depending on your actual usage.
Holla I'm Imogen!! Im a 20 yo student studying Environmental science at uni (2nd yr) I'm super laid back, easy going, social and love a chat and a drink ! I love to get out and do things, grab dinner, hang, go to the beach etc I'm clean and respectful! Wanting a place that's social and happy, dreaming of burrito night, a heated game of pictionary or hitting town every now and then!
About the Place: Amazing modern terrace situated about a 5-minute walk from Beaumont Street. Upstairs: Two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs Downstairs: The vacant room, second bathroom (which you'd pretty much have to yourself), kitchen, living area, and understair storage. Vacant Room: Medium sized room, big enough for queen bed, mirrored built-in wardrobe and large window with blind.
I’m renting out a fully furnished room in my unit at Georgetown. The apartment is in a complex built in the 70s (I think), but this one has been redone. The kitchen is lovely with a dishwasher and they have installed a reverse cycle air conditioning. The apartment is done in a range of purples which is actually kinda cool as it’s not your average beige rental. The bathroom also has a bath. The bedrooms get the morning sun and a balcony off the lounge room gets the afternoon sun. It’s lovely 😊 There are loads of trees around the building which gives a rare green element to apartment living. The room has a double bed and some clothes storage. There is no extra storage so it might not be right for someone who has a lot of stuff. The location can’t be beat (in my opinion). It’s right next to the Georgetown main strip which has bakeries, a fruit shop, a butcher, a Post Office, a bottle shop, a café, 3 hairdressers, a Chinese restaurant and a fish and chip shop. Oh and Waratah Shopping Village (and the 24 hour K-Mart) is a five minute walk. There are also great transport options. It is a less than 10 minute drive to the Uni and it’s about 15 minutes in the other direction to get into the city. There is also loads of on street parking available all the time. If you don’t have a car, a bus stop for the 226 (that goes between the Uni and the city) is directly across the road. I catch the bus most days to avoid trying to find a park, and it’s cheaper ($1.05 each way). Waratah train station is also a 10 minute walk away.
Rapidly approaching my quarter of a century and have finally decided to grow up and move out of home. I work full time and therefore love my weekends. I enjoy a Friday night in with a glass of wine and a pizza or a Saturday night out downing a few ciders with friends. Self confessed travel, wine, burger and dog enthusiast. Relatively clean, but not a clean freak.

Hi, I'm a 26 yr old female, part-time student of Social Science, musician and work part-time. Looking for a homely place that's not a party house but also with sociable people. I come with a sweet record collection :)
Helloooo! I'm a 24 year old looking for a temporary home. Minimum 3 months. I just got back from backpacking & volunteering around South East Asia for three months and am going straight back into working as a musician. I'm respectful, clean, tidy & easy going. Not a party animal and pay my rent on time. I work as a full time musician so I'm out late most weekends and at rehearsals during the week. Looking in a bunch of areas including Hamilton, Mayfield, Islington, Adamstown, Newcastle, Warners Bay areas. Let me know if you've got anything that might suit.
I am a full-time waitress/barista at a bakery in Maryville, which means I bring home a lot of bread and delicious sweets. I rock climb, swim, yoga and run and love to cook. I love my alone time, but also just hanging out and making music and watching movies.
Hey guys I'm looking to move out sometime this year in august or earlyer and i'm looking for a particular person to move out with me. I'm aspiring to become a Dj in Newcastle and looking to start playing in town soon. At the moment I'm studying a cert3 in support work and due to finish in a month today. I'm a nice compassionate and down to earth guy looking for someone to rent with preferably female that shares similar interests. If you like music, food, art and a good old laugh then your the perfect candidate. Feel free to message me if want to get to know me and if your up for it, I'm hoping to start this new journey and i would like you to be part of it.
Im an ex cleaner so am able to keep the house clean, i am easy going & barely ever at home so i wont be in anyones face all the time, it's usually just me at the house so i wont be loud & have people over all the time, im currently on centrelink but looking for a job but unfortunately havent found anything as of yet
Heya, I'm currently working casually at a pub and about to start uni doing open foundations. I'm looking for my own unfurnished bedroom or if anyones keen to find something together that could work too! I love the beach, like to keep healthy and don't mind a few bevvys on the weekend :)
Looking for unfinished bedroom and a small share house. Sharing with 1 or 2 other people, no student accommodation or multiple >4 people places. Adventurous and active. Gym daily as well as gymnastics and acroyoga. Non smoker, occasional drinker. Tidy, hygienic and health conscious but love a treat too. Childrens dentist.
Large spacious master bedroom available in a modern double storey townhouse, with own ensuite and massive built in wardrobe. Townhouse is in a brand new complex on a quiet street. Close to Beaumont Street, shops, parks, gyms, cafes and pubs, and bus stop/train station located very close. Town and Westfield Kotara is only a short drive away. The place has a kitchen with dishwasher, living area and bathroom upstairs and separate laundry, with balcony off the lounge room which is great for entertaining. Ducted air conditioning throughout, with plenty of extra storage space as well. Photos are available on request :)
House is located in a quiet street in Mayfield with lovely neighbours. Big house with updated kitchen and bathroom. Large backyard which my mini dachshund lives in. Located 10mins from Newcastle city and beach. House is currently fully furnished except for your room. I have recently purchased a brand new fridge, washing machine, microwave and TV to furnish the place with, but there is still more room if you have additional furniture of your own. You have a choice of two available rooms, one with a built in wardrobe. Both rooms would easily fit queen beds.
Great central location on many bus routes into city and university; just a few minutes walk to Waratah Shopping Village with Kmart, Coles and specialty stores. Each bedroom has a bed, desk and built in wardrobe, and your own key. The house is fully furnished and the kitchen has all the basics.
I turn 18 in July - and will have to move out around then. I'm pretty chill, go to TAFE 2 days a week - doing a certificate IV in Community Services. I also work at Domino's 4 days a week. I am gay (and have a girlfriend) - so hopefully this won't be an issue. I love music and art, and will listen to pretty much anything. I also love live music and go to a fair few concerts. Though I am young - I am mature, responsible, clean and tidy. Not a big partier - and I don't smoke or drink. Looking to live anywhere in the Newcastle or Sydney areas. Hoping for easygoing flatmates, that don't mind a chat every now and then. I do have a puppy so must be pet friendly!
I'm needing to move for my uni prac (finished up in Armidale and ready to move now) My prac starts in July but I'm wanting to be settled in somewhere way before that. I'm not a typical party student but I do love going out for dinner/drinks plus just chilling around the house. I absolutely love baking and I do make some mean brownies, banana bread and a quality lemon meringue pie!! I'm super respectful of privacy but also up for a chat and adventures! I've been out of home for 4 years so I know how to keep a tidy house, clean and look after myself. So I'm looking for a room with the budget of $150-60 which includes bills or around $110-30 which just covers rent.
