Hi, I'm David and I'm a 28 year old exchange student from Canada. I'll be studying at U of N from February-June, 2018. I'm a 3rd year double major in Political Science (Honours) and Religious Studies. I take my studies very seriously and rarely drink or party, although I do enjoy a good meal, nice drive and time at the beach. I'm also into fitness, and healthy living. I'm a former homeowner and landlord and am a very clean and respectful person to live with. I'm looking forward to making new friends in Australia and I hope to speak with you soon!
My name is Dinuk, I am 22 years old and I am from Melbourne, where I've lived my whole life up until now. I am to start my course in physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle as of February 26th. I am someone who is friendly and sociable but also someone who respects personal space and boundaries. I have previously lived in a shared accommodation in Melbourne so i know what it's like living with others in regards to hygiene and cleanliness. I can also be quiet diligent with studying so you may see notice that I might study till late. I very much love to cook, and would be happy to have cook ups or just spend time with others. I also like watching tv shows, reading, and going for walks and spending time with friends. I am also easy going and very approachable. I hope you may take this all into consideration, thanks.
Hi I’m Zaelee, I’m hoping to find a place with a social vibe, not a full on party house although it wouldn’t hurt occasionally. I’ve been living out of home for a few years now and would like to think that I’m a rather tidy, respectful, super friendly and easy going housemate. I try to avoid being home as much as I can, I love to be out and about and find myself happiest living a busy lifestyle but I won’t turn down a quiet wine or two with some friends at home!
I am quiet and sociable at the same time. I am flexible and looking for a friendly environment to live in. I am clean and care about cleaning. However, I am not obsessed with cleaning. I like to agree on cleaning rules with other mates. I do not smoke, drink (I drink very occasionally), do not have a pet. Please feel free to ask any question or more information.
Brand new, two level home. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 lounge rooms, posh appliances with two court yards. Wifi connects automatically all furniture ect is close to brand new. It’s gorgeous place to live!
The house is pretty big (4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms) with bedrooms upstairs and living area downstairs. It has a light open feel. Ensuite Room: The ensuite room is a big space, furnished with a King bed and side tables. It has a walk in robe, and ensuite with seperate toilet. Balcony Room: The bedroom has a built in wardrobe and ceiling fan. It has a large balcony shared with one other housemate. Great location, close to park, public transport (bus and train) and Beaumont Street.
Our home is super close to Waratah Village (Coles and 24 hour Kmart). Also we have the Georgetown shops right on the corner of our street. The oily George makes an amazing coffee ! House features tall ceilings, wooden floor boards , air conditioning. The room is a decent size too. We have a lovely courtyard and lawn out the back fully in closed. Also have a shed to store car or things. I do own a Moodle and two cats. Cats outside during the day very chilled. Dog is adorable. So anyone applying must get along with animals. Also anyone applying has to be neat and tidy and able to clean up after themselves. I cannot stress this enough.
My name is Kimberly, I’m 20 years old. I have a great personality and super easy to get along with! Love meeting new people and being social when I can. However sometimes I’m quiet and I do just stay in my room watching Netflix when I’m not working 🤷🏻♀️Respectful of personal space, privacy. I’m also clean and tidy. I don’t want to just brush shoulders in the hallway. 😌 I work casual but I pretty much work everyday 😴 Please get in contact if you or anyone you know have a place. Thanks!
I'm easy going, tidy and always pay rent on time. I have a 5 year old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy. I have a whole house worth of furniture which can be used or put in storage. I'm in the RAAF and work at Williamtown. I travel to Brisbane about once a month so I need someone who loves dogs to be able to feed him when I'm gone.
Hey, Jim here. Like to think I'm easy going and tolerant (maybe too cruisy at times!), friendly, sociable, equally like chilling out after work as having a drink or nice meal to wind down, super clean and tidy to the occasional annoyance of my all male office colleagues (i know, workplaces like that are still around), love cooking but a terrible baker as not really into following recipes .Will absolutely respect your privacy and space. Love time outdoors riding, running, swimming, just hanging out. Getting into yoga so hope there's space to roll my mat out every now and then! I've been in Newie about 15 years, work full time and longish hours so pretty much gone between 6am and 6pm.
Hi there! I am a physiotherapy student from the united states working in a clinical for two months. I am looking for a furnished bedroom to stay in for the time I am in Newcastle. I will be working full-time and I am hoping to travel on weekends so I'm really just looking for a place to sleep and cook some meals. I am very easy going and keep tidy. If you have any questions for me please feel free to ask! I am looking for a place that is close to my clinic or close to public transportation. Thanks so much!
Hi :) I am coming to Newcastle end of December and I'm looking for a room in shared house. From January to April I'll be doing a full-time internship as part of my Applied Physics studies. Currently, I am based in The Netherlands, where I go to university. I like cooking, socializing, and every now and then go into my own bubble to recharge. Dancing is a great part of my life, I really like salsa, zouk and other types of latin dances. I speak 4 languages (English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento). If you have a room, or think we could be good housemates, let me know :) Other questions are welcome as well! Cheers, Andrew
Bubbly, Explorer, Honest (written by my friends). Short info: Sensible and considerate. Believer of healthy, non-passive aggressive communication. *Laying it out early to facilitate mutual understanding 🙈: I dislike cluttered/dirty shared environment with items often misplaced (e.g., kitchen, living area). I’m sure we all want to live in a liveable home with considerate members. I don’t mind performing occasional acts of service, but unless the relationship greatly makes up for that, I’d honestly be disappointed and upset if I have to repeatedly clean up after someone. Detailed info: I'm a smiley introvert—albeit an energetic one—who grew up in a small island (country) called Singapore. I'm pretty 'flexible' in the sense where I have a huge range of interests. I love cozying up on the couch or a café with a good book; I'm really outdoorsy at the same time— I love taking walks and I do boxing. I spread my time between outdoor activities, fitness, culinary and my bachelor degree (psych; UoN, honours year). I have high empathy level (ps. I know how to read the atmosphere ;)), and I'm absolutely passionate about spreading love, smiles and joy. I love being the tiny ball of concentrated sunshine amongst my friends even though I'm an introvert and that means my battery does go flat sometimes. But it fills up my heart knowing that I've made someone feel more pleasant— even if it's just for a second! It's all worth it. You may have realized by now after reading all that I've typed that I'm an open book 😊 Hit me up if you think that you’d be happy (not just ‘okay’) living with me!
Hey! My name is Shane and I'm currently 18 and wanting to move out of home. After being on exchange abroad in Slovakia, coming back made me realise how independent I actually am. I know basic life skills such as cooking and cleaning. I am a very social person but I do respect peoples privacy and boundaries. I am hopefully going to begin university this year attempting to become a secondary teacher in a foreign country teaching English. I'm working at Valentine where y parents live at an IGA type store and will be looking for another job in Newcastle. Thanks for reading this!
Hello, I'm 19 years old moving to Newcastle to study Business/Commerce at University. I'm friendly and social and enjoy hanging out with friends, being active and going to the beach. I'm a clean and tidy person that respects other people's items and space. Looking to share a house with friendly like minded people.
i'm looking for a home! i've been trapped in semi-rural maitland for six months and i'm looking at moving back into town. i work, eat well and respect privacy. mostly i'll be found tinkering on a new project, lazing around with a book, working around the garden or on my writing. i'm also tidy, find solace is cleaning and prefer to do my required socialising outside of the house. finding enviro concious housemates i can not only coexsist with but create friendships with is the absolute ideal!! looking to move asap anywhere from georgetown to merewether (with islington being the central point) but not much further outside of those boundaries. i'm an experienced renter and can back up with references and receipts if you need reassurance that i can pay all bills on time. please hit me up with a message if youre offering a room that might suit!
I am moving to Newcastle for work and am looking for some easy going and friendly housemates to move in with. I am tidy and respectful and have lived in shared accommodation for the last four years. I will be working full time so will not be home much throughout the week but will be keen to have a chat and the occasional drink and meal with others.
Hey, I'm Rachel! I'm a full time uni student and I also work part-time at Genesis Fitness. I enjoy being active or just being outdoors in general but of course I don’t pass up quiet days in! Not much of a drinker nor do I party much so I can be quite the nanny :’). But nonetheless, I’d like to meet some likeminded people and hopefully become great friends/roommates :) I’ll be overseas from the end of January to the 23rd of Feb so looking to try and move ASAP when I get back!
My name is Brendan I'm 24. I'm studying Medical Diagnostic Radiography. I'm a chilled guy, I like to be clean and organised. Love a good surf. Not keen on a party house, I'm over the getting drunk every weekend thing, all though I do enjoy going out and having a drink, being social and having good people around! Just looking for a nice place with with good people.
Quiet person non smoker, currently doing an internship in social media marketing. Love animals. Not much of a socialite but wouldn't mind sharing accommodation with a few nice people, good with computers and a little artsy when the itch strikes. Spend a majority of my free time online, mostly gaming, so good internet is a must personally and professionally. Enjoy FFXIV, Overwatch, Dip into WoW on occasion ( Both factions c: ) pubg, little bit of csgo. Great things we could enjoy/get mad at together as roomies, would love to meet someone irl with some shared interests in these. Don't own a car to hog your driveway space and clean up after myself. Don't mind if you're loud (had a roommate that practiced drums every week) or smoker of any kind. Looking to live anywhere in the Newcastle area and suburbs close to bus lines. Prefer bills included in rent, but fine if they aren't. I've got a flawless rental history (3 years) and never been behind on payment, can provide references on request.
Good day! I am a brazilian moving to Newcastle to start a PhD program at UON. I am very friendly and social. I enjoy hanging out with friends, but also love to spend some time at home watching Netflix or cooking. I am a clean and tidy person who respects others privacy and space since I like to be respected too. Looking forward to share a house with friendly people.
Great location with a 5 minute walk to Beaumont street cafes, pubs and shops. 3 minute walk to bus stop servicing city centre and Newcastle University Callaghan campus 7 minute walk to Hamilton station. Walking distance to Sunday markets with great range of organic and locally sourced veggies. House has multiple living spaces with renovated kitchen and bathroom. Reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans in most rooms. Two bedrooms are available. Both with built in wardrobe, ceiling fan and enough room for a queen bed and desk. Electricity, gas, water and internet included in rent. Covered off street parking available for $20 per week.
Our house is on a quiet st and a couple of minutes from Tafe, Beaumont st cafes and public transport to the uni or to the centre of Newcastle. We have a couple of courtyards for summer or winter so plenty of room for entertaining but also have reverse cycle aircon inside along with separate toilet and shower, big kitchen and we're fully furnished. The bills include electricity, gas, full internet and are all included in the rent , so no scratching around last minute for the cash.
I am a full-time medical student at Newcastle uni, looking for a furnished room (at least a bed and a desk) in a sharehouse, from late Feb-September. I am clean and tidy, and fairly self-sufficient. I'd like to live with fun, easygoing people, and be able to come home to a friendly environment :)
