I am a 27 y/o creative designer that is looking to move back to Newcastle after 8+ years living in Sydney and Sweden. I love music, design, travelling, camping, Star Wars (hello there), video-games and keeping fit/healthy. I am extremely tidy, respectful and environmental. I am a little shy upon first meeting, but I come out of my shell in no time. I like to feel comfortable in my space - I will be walking around in comfort clothes or hardly any. I am a social creature and will definitely participate in house dinners and drinks. I like to be social on weekends and would like to host friends over for wine and such. I have a cat named Mishka who is indoor/outdoor and will be your next best furriend. She is house trained, loves people and will sleep on your lap if you're sitting long enough. My ideal housemates would be super cool, cultured, love a drink, going to gigs and social events, good music, are clean, sustainable and have an interest in recycling/minimising waste. I am interested in starting a share house. Move in date is flexible (looking for work before moving up) & length of stay but prefer 6+ months

I’m a Speech Pathologist looking to move from Muswellbrook to Newcastle. I’m friendly and happy to be social, but also like to do my own thing sometimes. I’m looking forward to going to dance classes in Newcastle, as well as enjoying a movie on the couch with my new housemate/s, while I finish my latest crochet project. I have a good rental history and am happy to pay my rent upfront so you won’t have to chase me for money. I can be flexible with my moving date for the right fit.
Hi! I am Lisa-Marie, a 22-years old Dutch graduate student in the field of pharmacy. I am looking for a nice place to stay in Newcastle, as I will perform my MSc research project at UON. I would really appreciate a clean house with chill flatmates to come home to at the end of a hectic day, but most importantly I would love roommates who are open for a nice chat and a glass tea / wine. Ofc with respect for eachothers privacy ;) little bit about me: when I am free I love to meet new people / hang out with them, explore new restaurants / bars, go to the beach, bake, dance or do yoga.
I'm very easy going, clean up after myself and enjoy a conversation. I keep to myself while I'm studying (in room). I have a French Bulldog who is very sweet and happy - does not bark and can stay outside at all times if required. I'm keen to also meet new people as I have not always lived in Newcastle, have moved here for Uni.
The location really is pretty awesome, we're walking distance to beaumont street and the stadium. I have a bbq so I'm hoping to use that a little more coming into summer too. There's only a small amount of grassed area so the lawn maintenance isn't too bad either.
My name is Charlotte (27 yrs), I am moving to Newcastle, Australia from Goa, India to complete my PhD in immunology at Hunter Medical research centre. I ain't-a fussy roommate, love giving space and a stickler for house rules if there are any. Love the beach and a self-proclaimed great chef and I am very into sports. Allergic to dairy products especially albumin (eggs), pet dander (cats and dogs unfortunately although I do love them, I am not a monster!). I can blend in like a chameleon (haha! my spirit animal :)). I am also a lil bit of a geek- big anime fan as well as marvel and DC😬. I will be moving to Newcastle in the month of November!!
Hello my name is Amanda and I’m 36. I’m very down to earth, open, big heart, kind and considerate. I have my own business and see clients now and then through the day. I am a clairvoyant/Medium and Holistic Life Coach and also have my own Organic Skin Care brand. I’m going to be setting up my own home fully furnished (apart from your bedroom) and I’m looking for a housemate to share my home! I’m looking at 3 bedroom places so one room can be set up as an office for my work space. I’m looking for someone open minded, kind and considerate. Someone who likes to have a laugh and meal together but also respects my down time and alone time. I’m not a big drinker or party animal these days. I am focused on health and wellness, my business and living life to the fullest. Ideally I’d like to find a place and move by December/January. We would both be on the lease and I am happy to pay extra for use of the 3rd bedroom. Please let me know if you’re interested :)
Neat, respectful and easy going. Happy to keep to myself and/or be social with others. I enjoy cooking and don’t mind doing the dishes! I am relatively quiet and enjoy my own company, so there’s no risk of any wild parties or anything of the sort happening. I do however like to chat to people and love having good people that I get along with around me if having me be a bit more of a social butterfly is preferred. I’m pretty chilled either way :) I do smoke, but no more than maybe five or less in any one day and would always do so outside in a well ventilated area, I also have a good habit of disposing of cigarette butts appropriately and promptly once finished. I am currently, and have been for the last seven years, working as an AIN, and often am working on a rotating roster, so shift work is inevitable. I am happy to move out of where I am now and into a new place ASAP! :) look forward to hopefully meeting nice people and living in a comfortable, relaxed and cosy feeling home Kindest regards, B.
Hi! I'm a 29 year old phd student from Romania. I' ve been in Australia for a little less than two years. I'm warm and social (except in the morning before i have my coffee). I love having chats on any topic (philosophy, trump, the best dishwasher soap... you name it), being goofy, occasional dinner parties, going to the beach, dancing salsa, traveling and of course banter. I'm a huge movie buff and a pretentious jazz listener. On top of my research scholarship, I work as an academic staff member at UoN and a few other small part time jobs. I'm looking for a nice place relatively close to the university of newcastle, callaghan campus, to share with a few fun, social, clean people. Hope to meet you soon! Thanks Cheers Andrei
I will be starting a full-time job at Downer EDI in Hexham on 12th November. I am preferably looking for a place near a train line but eventually going to buy a car, so anywhere within 15-20 minutes drive ideally. I am a friendly and social person and looking for flatmates that are up for the odd chat or a drink on the weekend. Preferably looking for a furnished room.
Hi! Im currently studying full time and working part time. I love living in a social household and enjoying the occasional beverage on the weekends. I am tidy and respectful and a non-smoker. I'm super easy going, love the beach, gym and brunch on weekends. I am looking at a 8 month stay with the potential prospect of staying longer depending on my university placement location.
Great, older style property; close to cbd and public transport (bus stop is nearest) Walking distance to cafes, shopping centre and farmers market. Fruit and veg shop on the corner. The house boasts a dishwasher, air conditioning and gas cooking, and you will have your own (separate and basic) shower and toilet at the back of the premises.
Open plan two story townhouse with plenty of light and courtyard. The house is only 12 months old and we are the first tenants. The house is equipped with modern appliances. The room available is spacious with double wardrobe and balcony. The bathroom is shared, but there is an additional toilet downstairs. The lounge room and dining room is fully furnished. We are looking for someone to fill my room that will treat the house as their own and enjoys a quiet lifestyle.
*New premises and furnishings *Personal garage space *Central location *Air-conditioning *Built in robes I have available a granny flat a block-and-a-half from the centre of Beaumont St in Hamilton. It measures 5.55 x 4.70 m and this includes a balcony of 2.9 x 1.1 m. The room is furnished with a king-size bed, lounge, fridge, TV, and fully-equipped kitchenette. It can be unfurnished if requested and has built-in robes, so all you need to bring is yourself. The lovely furnishings pictured are the house's actual furnishings, NOT stock footage. The townhouse, which is also available to use, features brand new appliances including, dishwasher, printer/photocopier (feel free to use), washer/dryer, etc. Everything required for the house has been provided. The whole of downstairs is a kitchen and living room so it's a great place to relax, and the bedrooms are upstairs and away from the living areas. There’s a double garage for lots of storage. The house also features two bathrooms, three toilets and a courtyard. Unlimited 50 MB/s NBN internet is available. The town-house is occupied by three professionals, two females, one male. All in late 20’s; friendly, responsible, and clean. We are looking for someone who is like this, and I try to keep a friendly vibe to the household, so if this sounds like what you're after then we’re excited to meet you :) The house is extremely well looked after too, I get a cleaner in regularly, so you don’t have to worry about taking turns to do the bathrooms, etc. Rent excludes bills, and a bond is required. When you contact me please be sure to state (if not already on your profile) your age, gender, occupation, country of origin (if you weren’t born in Aus), and a sentence or two about yourself and a PHONE NUMBER. Must have reliable income. No pets or children allowed and don’t bother asking.
About our quaint little home: - 300m walk to Beaumont Street and Aldi - Large unfurnished bedroom which easily fits a queen bed, bedside tables, tall boy and clothes rack. Sorry no wardrobe - Spacious living area with large open plan kitchen - Living areas are fully furnished - Good size laundry area with space for drying racks in wet weather - Single bathroom and seperate toilet - Huge backyard space which is perfect for entertaining in summer - Double garage in the backyard which has plenty of space for storage. Not really suitable for a car due to the narrow side access and hassle getting in and out of the gate.
I'm Tidy, a hard worker, friendly a non smoker I rarely drink. I love to relax and just watch movies and cook. A big introvert so don't throw any parties. Always happy to help others where I can.
G,day. April here. Im residing back to Newy ( Novocastrian born and bred), to study Bachelor of Nursing and working part time to and from Syd in the Fashion industry. Terrible at 'selling' myself in bio's, so ill simplify it with dot points. * Well accustom to housemate etiquette * Always up for the following- outing activity ( live gigs, beach, bush walking/running), A Netflix or movie binge, Cooking up a barbie or a feast for family and friends, atc. * I can vacuum til the cows come home if i have the right soundtrack. Includes all matters of cleaning actually. * I own a set of wheels, so car pooling/ lifts/ late night early morning pick ups/ roads trips are A-ok!. Looking for a place with in roughly 15km radius of Newcastle city. Reasonable size room and built in wardrobe would be great! unfurnished is a-ok , though if it has a bed already thats a plus. Dont get the chance to go out alot but enjoy live music when opportunity arises. Dont have any special diets or restrictions. Pets are a huge perk. Looking for a pad that has easy going, just legendary chums and people. Cheers
Hi. I am looking for a quiet place to spend my time while not at work in a busy cafe or at TAFE. I am studying Conservation & Land Management with a view to further studies at Newcastle University. Having already completed an Ad Dip in Fine Art I spend a fair bit of my home time drawing/creating, but also enjoy reading, cycling, crosswords and a decent cup of coffee. I don't smoke or drink and am chasing a nice comfortable lifestyle in a calm household. I keep my own spaces tidy and tight and have a healthy amount of respect for personal space and keeping communal areas clean for everyone else. Though I'm a bit quiet and unintrusive by nature, I have an open attitude to others' more outgoing activities and don't mind a bit of loudness around me. Looking for people that accommodate and respect likewise.
Studying construction management and working at a bottle shop. I love the outdoors and nights out. I'm pretty chill and love to hangout as well as enjoy my own time. I'm easy to get on with and keep a tidy house. Preferably would like to share with other gay men.
Hey! I study part time and work casually. I'm a fairly quiet person, but wouldn't mind the cup of tea together. I'm looking for more of a home, then a room so I am not looking for a party house. I am looking for someone else that is also clean and can respect each other's own privacy and space. I also have a 7 year old inside cat and she is quiet but very friendly. I'm looking to move around the end of November 2018
Hi!, I’m easygoing but clean, tidy and responsible. I’m originally from Ireland and have been here for 10 years now. I work in East Maitland and am studying to be a dietitian at UON. I have a dog called Dougal who is very entertaining! During the day I work and study and we usually like to go walking in the evenings. I also sometimes like Yoga and capoeira for fun.
Hey, I’m Dustin. I’m a pretty chill guy and I’m looking for somewhere a bit closer to my place of study. I’m currently doing my cert III in Design Fundamentals at Tighs Hill TAFE, which means I’m out being busy Wed to Fri. Currently looking for some part time or casual work to fill in my free time and up my income. I love to cook and I’m pretty damn good at cleaning up after myself, I’m pretty independent and I believe I’m an easy person to get along with. I do like to have a chat now and then but I do like my alone time. Honestly just really keen to take another step forward into independent living.
22, work full time (Mon-Fri) in Health. Lease is now up and I'm looking to find a housemate (preferably just one but flexible). Open to moving in with somoene or teaming up. Pretty chill but I do like a clean place, enjoy some alone time but always up for a hang/beer.
