Moved to Newy sometime during the first week of August from my costal hometown, Yamba and looking to start uni next year. I'd consider myself a caring person who absolutely loves making new friends. As much as I love time to myself and respect that others will too, I'll never be one to turn down a moment to procrastinate in any way or form🍷. I like to go out occasionally but dinner at home and/or drinks out the back will always take the cake. Cheese platters are very good too. Would love to live with others that are fun, caring and honest about things... Feel free to suggest for coffee and a chat if you're interested as I'd love to hear from you.
Hey I’m Dean (24), working full-time for the Newcastle Knights. Looking for a place in inner Newcastle area that I could bring my 8 week old kelpie x English staffy puppy to live with me. Love my sports/fitness but I’m don’t mind a cheeky burger and beverage although I’m not a big party goer.
Sammy and I have a great house in Hamilton South in a quiet leafy street. It is a central location in walking distance to the hub of Beaumont Street and not too far from the beach, the junction and Newcastle City. We have lawns out the back and front with the rear yard having all day sun. There is ample storage area in the garage if you have bikes or tools etc. The bathroom includes a bath and has a separate toilet, outdoor undercover area, wooden floor boards, great sized kitchen & cupboards. The house interior is not brand new however has been freshly painted, the floors redone and generally really well maintained.
Hi! I'm a full time art student and work weekends in retail. Long term preferred. Looking to move between mid December to mid January (when the lease is up here). Thanks to a greedy tax man.. (somehow ended up OWING money this year 🤔) ..I'm not in a position to provide much bond/rent in advance at this stage.. 0-2 weeks bond is all I can commit to for now. Looking for a large room - I have a drawing table+computer desk I'll need to fit in there, I’ll probably downsize to a double bed so I can squeeze more into a room. A balcony or sunroom would be awesome to use as an art station. A private-ish shed space or similar would also be handy (so I can get art-messy) but both are not essential. not a big party person, being 30 i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
I'm an easy-going and bubbly gal who is a tidy and respectful housemate. I'm completing my last year of Occupational therapy next year and also work two part time jobs. Between that I have a social lifestyle, I love exploring the outdoors and meeting new people, and I'm passionate about wine and cheese. Looking for housemates that want to hang out but also like to have their own space.
I am a relaxed house mate who appreciates a tidy house. I love being social but also enjoy my own space. I study and work part time and have a very social/active lifestyle. Looking for housemates who are easy to get along with and are social.
Hey I am looking for a place for after I graduate in November. I am an Engineering student currently working in Beresfield whilst finishing off my FYP. I am easy going and I like to play sport and hang out with friends in my free time. I often get up quite early so I am not interested in being in a party house. I like to relax on the weekends generally involving something like BBQ and drinks. I like to try and keep things tidy and clean. Looking for a place with young professionals that are also easy going.
Well, Lily the staffie and Ruby the cat are pretty special, and they come with Anne, who works part time and studies online part time. Candy is also in residence and works full time. She makes a mean cupcake! The house has reverse cycle air air conditioning and is light and bright as you can see in the photos. We are a few minutes walk from Beaumont Street, boutiques, cafes and restaurants hub, and 20 minutes walk from Darby Street, same deal. If you're still on foot we're 20 minutes from The Junction and 20 minutes from Newcastle's beautiful beaches. The location is quiet and safe with plenty of trees and bird life. We're with Optus so we have Fetch TV and Netflix rather than Foxtel. Rent includes everything down to the toilet paper, and two lovely cleaning ladies who come once a fortnight to keep us on track. You only need to bring three things; a sense of humour, respect for your flatmates and a relaxed attitude. Give us a call to arrange an inspection and meet us. Lily usually decides who fits best.
You will have the place to yourself 90% of the time. Two furnished rooms available in a recently renovated, fully furnished house in Hamilton East. Furnishings flexible if you need to bring any items with you, but all household items provided including linen, utensils and whitegoods. All bills including internet, water, electricity and unlimited NETFLIX included. We have relocated to Sydney for work so you will have the place to yourself 90% of the time and we will stay in the third bedroom once every 4-8 weeks. The house is in a prime, highly sought after location in a quiet street just 800m from Beaumont St restaurants and Markettown shops; a 15 minute walk to the beach, and a short drive to the hospital, university, schools and Westfield Kotara. The house has beautiful high ceilings, fireplaces, large separate dining and living areas as well as a backyard including vegetable garden. Off-street parking available.

I am a laid back extroverted guy with a good sense of humour. Have lived with flat mates for 20 years and enjoy the company of others. I am definitely not boring and enjoy a good laugh, a few drinks and good banter. I am clean, respectful of others and their property. I work in Sydney but will be spending a good amount of time in Newcastle. I am a manager working in a HR field and have my life sorted. I don't have pets and I am not a crazy nutter. Have a tendency to make others laugh and can tell a good story. Can afford rent and will always pay on time but would prefer bills built into Rent as I would prefer just a flat fee every week. Would be looking to spend Friday night to Tuesday morning in Newcastle and the rest in Sydney. Hope to talk to someone soon. Prefer my own bathroom, no more than 2 flat mates and don't mind pets but prefer dogs. Prefer around Adamstown or the beach, mayfield or Hamilton. Cheers Jeff
Hi guys, I’m Hannah 😊 I’m a 23 year old female working full time at a nature reserve, looking for a home!! I’m a very social person so would love a place where I can feel like part of a family, but I also appreciate that everyone needs there down time. I love the beach, yoga (pretty much anything outdoors), and I love to have a drink and dance every now and then. I have a pet python who lives in a tank in my room, he’s a very friendly boy but you wouldn’t even notice he’s there. My lease expires on the 24th February 2018 so I would love to find a place to move into before then. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a message!
Tidy and easy going guy who enjoys keeping active and having fun. Just graduated civil engineering an scored a gig down in Newcastle for 2018 so hoping to find a place to move into end of this year/early next year. I've put down interested for 6 month stay but really I'm open to stay as long as I can if it works out. I'm hoping to get a place as near to the port and the beach as I can, sort of like north of the hill/cooks hill and newcastle west. Swing me a message if you're keen either to move into your place or get a team-up.
Moving from Adelaide with my partner as i have just accepted a Job in Newcastle as a Veterinarian. We do not know anyone in the area so are looking to make new friends and are excited about the next chapter in our lives. We are both easy to get a long with, love a laugh, are active and enjoy sports.
Hi, I’m Jeff and working as a chef in Newcastle. I’m very tidy, clean, easy going and respectful to people’s surroundings and hoping I can find a place with people who have the same mindset. Cheers!
Hi, I’m Shane, I’m moving from Wollongong to Newcastle because I want a bit of a change and Newcastle is as far as I can move away while keeping my current (great) job. Not only do I need somewhere affordable to live while I tie up loose ends and settle in, it’ll also be good to experience the whole housemate thing, I’ve lived on my own from the get go and it kind of feels like I’ve missed a rite of passage. I’m an easy person to get along with, I have a good sense of humour, I’m friendly enough but I like my me time as well. I’m pretty tidy and I’m well practiced at doing household chores. I’m not a culinary master but I enjoy cooking and I’m ok at it. I work as a (passenger) train driver, I am a shift worker and I don’t expect anyone to be silent when I’m sleeping at odd times but I’m probably not suited to a (constant) party house. I try to be healthy and when I have spare time I’m usually off on long walks on a beach or cycle track or anywhere interesting, I also do a bit of traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m hoping to live somewhere convenient (shops/transport/beach) but one thing that I definitely need is a parking space for my car. I would also hope to live with friendly people of a similar age that are reasonably tidy. I’ll be staying (in temporary accommodation) in the Newcastle area from the 26th of November and will be happy to meet potential housemates anytime from then.
30 female, newly single, love my fitness and also a sneaky wine with some good banter. I'm clean, want to live with someone who will feel like family and like to chat and hang out but also likes space too. :)
