Hi im Aaron, I'm looking to team up with one or Two people and share a house in the Cooks Hill/ The Hill area. Preferably a girl (Need a break from living with guys). About me: Im 24 I have a 3yo toy poodle I work as a coal miner and will be studying over the next 12 months. I own a house so i know what it is like to be respectful to a household, also have shared houses before and i show respect for other peoples privacy. I enjoy Yoga, being active, having drinks with friends on the weekend and eating out. In no way do i want a party house, but saying that i don't mind casual drinks and a cheese platters etc at home. ~ Sydney uni student starting an internship in Newcastle ~ I'm a uni student from Sydney moving to Newcastle for 6 months for an engineering internship. I'm from up the coast originally. For the last 4 years, I've been living in sharehouses and student accommodation in Sydney... meaning I'm well-versed in the art of: flatmate banter/holding on whilst the bathroom's in use/tetris to maximise fridge space/cleaning up after myself, and related skills :P Bit of a cliché, but I'm very easy-going and friendly. Looking for a place with decent people, possibly also young/students, with whom I can get along with. I generally cook for moi, motivated by my affinity for carbs and faint past as a stingy 1st yr student. Nevertheless, I don't shy from a chat/chill/chai with roomies. I like hanging out with friends, I go for a run here and there, and like listening to music (dw, no blasting out loud). I'll be working Mon-Fri, and chilling out some of the other time. I'm pretty clean. Never lived in Newcastle, but I'm looking forward to it! Go the Knights!
I'm offering a room for rent in my modern inner city designer pad. The loft-style apartment is light-filled with high ceilings, and offers a lush courtyard as well as a big balcony. The spiral staircase leads to upstairs, where there are the two bedrooms with built-ins and a huge bathroom. Downstairs offers a spacious open-plan living area, a toilet and laundry and little study nook with a desk. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances, including a dishwasher, and all brand new utensils and dinnerware for you to use. The room for rent can be furnished to your needs, including a double bed and desk, or if you prefer to furnish it yourself that's okay! Please note the photos are of the room completely unfurnished - but I can send through photos of the furniture I will be using. I am just aware that some people have their own. Any other home wares including brand new bedding and towels can also be included if you would like. All you really need to bring is yourself. The townhouse is centrally located and is walking distance to Market Town for groceries, Hunter St, King St and Beaumont street for pubs, restaurants and clubs and shops. Or grab a bike or skateboard and the whole of the CBD including the beach will be 5 minutes away. On-street parking is plentiful and nearby. The secure complex also offers an equipped gym and indoor lap pool so you can save dollars and cancel your gym membership ;) I will also organise a cleaner that will come to the property fortnightly and these services will be inclusive in the rent.

Bedrooms are furnished but the rest of the house is partially furnished. The house has just been painted throughout. Close to shops and within walking distance of Hamilton station, Beaumont Street. This would ideally suit a professional who needs a quiet base and works full time. You must be respectful of the other people who live there so no parties. You can share the kitchen and bathroom. Clean up after yourself, be tidy and considerate. The caretaker will do most of the cleaning once a week. She will tell you which day she will be cleaning. Rent is to be paid weekly and in advance 1 week. Bond is $400 for master bedroom. Street parking is also available. Contact me if you are interested in staying in a nice brick house, and tell me a little bit about yourself.
We live in a cosy little terrace house on the leafy boulevard that is James Street. It is a mere 100 metres from Beaumont Street which is really handy. With cuisine ranging from the exotic (Cappadocia Kebabs) to the spicy (Raj's corner) to the Australian staple schnitty and chips (The Greenroof). So many tasty choices. You'll never save money again! Centrally located we're about 10 mins drive from the beach in one direction and just 15 mins from the uni in the other. If you're really adventurous Hamilton train station is just 10 minutes walk away. 5 minutes if you power walk. Our lease ends in February next year so we'd need someone until then. Can potentially renew the lease for next year as well if thats the way it goes :) Now all that's left is to come have a gander.

We're a couple from around Gloucester/ Forster area, we're both currently studying full time at the university of newcastle and looking for a new place before the start of second semester. Mason is an all round top bloke, He studies civil engineering and surveying and can pull off a mullet and a moe pretty well. He's pretty great to live with because can hold a friendly conversation but won't be in your face at all. He likes playing the Xbox and drink of choice would be a ice cold schooner of tooheys new. Jasmin is alright herself, she's studying writing at the uni and is a bit of a creative sort. Loves live music, bushwalking and reading. Pretty good to live with as she can talk about pretty much anything and is always there for a chat if needed. Drink of choice would be a double shot tequila sunrise when she's feeling loaded but lets be real, usually you'll catch her with a bottle of harddys charddy. We're both pretty good at keeping to ourselves or having a cheeky chat in the kitchen, whichever you prefer. We're both clean, tidy and love a good netflix binge. We've listed ourselves as looking for a place near the city but are open to suburbs close to the uni. We both have a stable income rolling in and the 280$ a week is our maximum rent SPLIT not each.
I am a thirty-year-old professional about to relocate from Adelaide to Newcastle for a new job. I would describe myself as being friendly, easy going, neat and tidy. I am considerate of privacy and respectful of others. My health and fitness is important to me; I am a non-smoker and a vegan. I enjoy walking and a bit of yoga. As a musician, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar in my spare time. I love the ocean, so spending some time at the beach is high on my list of things to do. Looking forward to finding a share housing with likeminded, friendly and easy going house mates to enjoy beautiful Newcastle with. Cheers! :)
I'm needing to move for my uni prac (finished up in Armidale and ready to move now) My prac starts in July but I'm wanting to be settled in somewhere way before that. I'm not a typical party student but I do love going out for dinner/drinks plus just chilling around the house. I absolutely love baking and I do make some mean brownies, banana bread and a quality lemon meringue pie!! I'm super respectful of privacy but also up for a chat and adventures! I've been out of home for 4 years so I know how to keep a tidy house, clean and look after myself. So I'm looking for a room with the budget of $150-60 which includes bills or around $110-30 which just covers rent.
Why hello there, Simply in 3 sentences -I'm friendly, housetrained and can pick a good red wine. -I'm originally from Melbourne so love my coffee, brunch, music and AFL. -I'm moving to Newcastle for work. Hope to hear from you
Hi there, I'm looking for somewhere to rent for me and my 6yo staffy, Billy. A little bit about me first- I'm a full time retail store manager, love relaxing in my down time by heading to the beach or enjoying a glass of wine with friends. Billy- he's been an inside dog for the past 6 years, he's pretty chilled out, loves sleeping, going for walks and hanging out with other dogs. I have collected a bit of furniture (inc fridge, washing machine) as I've been living out of home since I was 17 so I'd be great to start a new rental with! Also got great rental references too.
G'day, I am looking for a clean, spacey spot close to town/beach. I have recently graduated from the University of Canberra with a bachelor of Sports Media. I am super fresh to Newcastle and am working two Hospitality jobs whilst looking for full time work in journalism/media. I grew up on the south coast, my parents owned a seafood restaurant so I appreciate good food and cooking. Love fishing, surfing, music and I play AFL. Happy to answer any questions, and check out some places!
Im open minded towards all aspects of the way people choose to live there life's, my lease has currently run out so that puts me in a positions of being forever great full to anyone who has a cheap room available. I don't have many personal items at all and considered myself a very tidy person to live with. I have no pets nor any girlfriend so my dwelling at the home would be very quite and im surley not one to have house parties
I'm easygoing, love to cook for the household and enjoy drinks on the weekend. I'm studying full time as a student and my team up jack is a security guard who enjoys a bit of fun too. Looking for someone laid back who is organised and willing to attend house inspections with us as a household. Feel free to message me if you're interested
Hello, my name is Jerissa McLachlan. I currently live in a house-share in Sydney. I am 19 years old and I am looking for a room to rent in the Newcastle area. I am currently working as a barista. I love literature, art and music. I am a friendly person who cleans up after herself and respects the boundaries of others. I have 2 year old indoor cat who is toilet trained, and de-sexed. Thank you for considering me. I look forward to speaking with you.
Hi, I'm Jen. I'm a warm, positive, responsible, proactive individual looking for a new place to call home. I'm 35 and work in a variety of fields in part time positions doing business admin & in a freelance capacity in Event Management & the Arts. I enjoy sharing good, healthy food & meal times, a vino & vibrant conversation with those I live with & honour the space we all need to be happy. I have a passion for yoga, dance, art, authenticity, expression & expanding my inner & outer worlds whenever possible. I've just returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & adventure. I’m happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I’ve lived in large share houses & in duo’s, both have their pro’s & con’s – but the right mix is essential for a happy house. Space is important to me, inside & out, so no small apartments will cut the mustard. I've got furniture & appliances to contribute to the house & I'm completely house trained (am a bit of a handy-woman & even come with tools to help with odd jobs around the house). I enjoy living with mature, clean, positive & professional adults with a secure disposition that have their work⁄life⁄fun balance down pat. I've got a super friendly, indoor 13yr old female tabby cat. She's awesome company, spends most of the time sleeping on my bed & is a real gem of a furry friend, you're going to love her. I'm hoping to share space with conscious, connected people that want to create a home, not just a house to live in. Art is my life blood so a space to create is also a must in my new abode (perhaps the garage or a sunroom for example), I know the perfect home is out there! Look forward to meeting you Chat soon Jen
Looking for a pet friendly private room! I have a 3 month old German Shepherd x Labrador puppy, he's pretty well behaved. Toilet trained, comes when called, doesn't bark, and he can sit. I turn 18 in July, will hopefully be moving sometime this month. I'm pretty chill, go to TAFE 2 days a week - doing a certificate IV in Community Services. I also work at Domino's 4 days a week. I am gay (and have a girlfriend) - so hopefully this won't be an issue. I love music and art, and will listen to pretty much anything. I also love live music and go to a fair few concerts. Though I am young - I am mature, responsible, clean and tidy. Not a big partier - and I don't smoke or heavily drink. Looking to live anywhere in the Sydney area. Hoping for easygoing flatmates, that don't mind a chat every now and then.
I'm out going easy person to get along with. Very clean and tidy student. Rare party life person. Like going on adventures love the beach life like to meet people I get along with everyone and anyone.
