Hi, I am a very busy, full time working interior designer looking for a new place closer to Newcastle. I do have a little Maltese cross dog named Muffin who has to come with me. I am very sociable, clean & easy going and would like to share with people who don't mind having a chat, hanging out and maybe having a drink after a long day. Please contact me if you think you may have a room for me :)
Hi, we are two friends looking for a room in a shared flat. If possible we would share one room. We are open minded and easy going, like to meet new people, cook together, do sports, explore the area and so on. We have both experience in sharing a flat with other people and are respectful and considerate. Best regards, Celine and Feli
We have a room available in Hamilton South for 150pw (plus bills which we split equally). It's a nice old three-bedroom house which has been fully renovated with gas cooking and dishwasher. The room that's available is 3.7 x 3 and you'd only be sharing the main bathroom with one other. We're in a great location close to town and beaches, and although the house is situated on a main road we have access to a side street through a back entry to parking is never an issue.
We are energetic, passionate and active girls who like to live in a clean, organised and friendly environment. We are both super easy to get along with & usually quite occupied if not studying or catching up with friends. We both also work full time hours and hope to meet some friendly, fun and considerate room mates that we can humbly live with.

I'm looking to move out into the Newcastle area preferably with other females. I work casually in two bars and also work as a freelance makeup artist on the side. I'm super friendly and laid back and I'm usually working so I'm not home a whole heap.
I am Caterine, 26, PhD student at the University of Newcastle. I am from Brazil and I am a very tidy person (I clean when I am bored). I am quiet and easy going and I usually become friends with my housemates. =) My boyfriend, got me a puppy and he is about 6 months now (he is quite big though) but he is not trouble at all. He is actually adorable and everyone just loves him! His name is Ross and he is a Golden Retriever cross White Shepherd. Ross does not chew things inside the house as most of puppies do and I am training him (he is toilet trained and does not bark, unless when playing). He eats veggies if in the garden and likes doing a little digging when bored though. I am looking for a place that would accept me and my cute Ross!

Or grab a bike or skateboard and the whole of the CBD including the beach will be 5 minutes away. On-street parking is plentiful and nearby. The secure complex also offers an equipped gym and indoor lap pool so you can save dollars and cancel your gym membership ;)

LOCATION - 5-10min walk down the road from Merewether, Dixon & Bar Beach (perfect with summer approaching) - 5min walk from The Junction shops - 5min drive to Darby Street and CBD - The townhouse is on the street behind the Mary Ellen Hotel and down the road from The Prince and Burwood pubs THE TOWNHOUSE - 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom - 2 levels (kitchen, lounge room, laundry and 2nd toilet located on the first floor, all 3 bedrooms and bathroom up on the second floor) - Small courtyard out the back - Older townhouse, not new at all but it's cosy and located perfectly THE ROOM - Small to medium sized - I've been able to fit a queen sized bed, tallboy, mirror and clothes rack - Only $120 a week in rent! THE SITUATION - I'm moving to Canberra so it's my room available - I've already got a furnished room in Canberra organised so looking to get rid of my bed and tallboy - Happy to sell it to you fairly cheap - You'd be getting a fully furnished room and would really only have to bring personal items WHEN CAN YOU MOVE IN? - I'm moving to Canberra on the 5th of August (less than 2 weeks) so looking to have my room filled ASAP - Happy to work out with you when you want to move in to make sure I've got my items out BILLS - All split evenly between 3 - Internet and Foxtel is normally $50 each per month - Electricity and Water split every quarter - All bills are in my name so I will be transferring them over to my housemates. BOND - 4 weeks rent ($460) required to be transferred to me - Rent ($120/wk) to be paid into bpay account by every Friday of that week THE LEASE - As I'm moving out I will be taken off the lease - Toby (one of the housemates) and you will have to go on it - Right now we aren't locked into anything, it's simply ongoing - But with new people on the lease the owners may opt to have you sign a 6 month one - Which is what I originally signed when I first moved in - So a min stay of 6 months would be required PARKING - 2 cars can fit on the car space in front of the place - Plenty of off street parking WHO WOULD LIKE IT? - Basically anyone who wants to live in a great location super cheap - Students would be perfect - I've lived here since the start, moving in 3 years ago and will miss it dearly - Anyone that just has personal items to bring as mentioned above the room and entire house is fully furnished WHAT'S NEXT? - Shoot me a text or email if your keen and we set up a time for you to come have a look and meet the housemates - As mentioned looking to fill this room asap
We live in a cosy little terrace house on the leafy boulevard that is James Street. It is a mere 200 metres from Beaumont Street which is really handy. With cuisine ranging from the exotic (Cappadocia Kebabs) to the spicy (Raj's corner) to the Australian staple schnitty and chips (The Greenroof). So many tasty choices. You'll never save money again! Centrally located we're about 10 mins drive from the beach in one direction and just 15 mins from the uni in the other. If you're really adventurous Hamilton train station is just 10 minutes walk away - 5 minutes if you power walk. The room its self is the biggest in the house, with its own entry from the front of the building. In the photos thats a queen size bed, so theres plenty of floor space. The room can be furnished or unfurnished up to you for what is more convenient. Our lease ends in February next year so we'd need someone until then. Can potentially renew the lease for next year as well if thats the way it goes :) Now all that's left is to come have a gander.

I'm Zoe, I'm from Brisbane and I've been working in Newcastle for a few months now. I'm looking for a place to move into when I return from holiday anywhere onwards from the 5th August (although I'm back in the country from 28th July). My only real requirement is that it's a central location as I don't drive and I work in Newcastle West. I'm nearly 22, have a boyfriend who lives overseas and I'm super friendly! I'm really work focused at this time in my life so I'm pretty simple, tidy and chill to live with. I do work late nights occasionally but me coming home would probably be the only disturbance you hear from me. Thanks x

I am a thirty-year-old professional about to relocate from Adelaide to Newcastle for a new job. I would describe myself as being friendly, easy going, neat and tidy. I am considerate of privacy and respectful of others. My health and fitness is important to me; I am a non-smoker and a vegan. I enjoy walking and a bit of yoga. As a musician, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar in my spare time. I love the ocean, so spending some time at the beach is high on my list of things to do. Looking forward to finding a share housing with likeminded, friendly and easy going house mates to enjoy beautiful Newcastle with. Cheers :)
Hi, I'm Jen. I'm a warm, positive, responsible, proactive individual looking for a new place to call home. I'm 35 and work in a variety of fields in part time positions doing business admin & in a freelance capacity in Event Management & the Arts. I enjoy sharing good, healthy food & meal times, a vino & vibrant conversation with those I live with & honour the space we all need to be happy. I have a passion for yoga, dance, art, authenticity, expression & expanding my inner & outer worlds whenever possible. I've just returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & adventure. I’m happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I’ve lived in large share houses & in duo’s, both have their pro’s & con’s – but the right mix is essential for a happy house. Space is important to me, inside & out, so no small apartments will cut the mustard. I've got furniture & appliances to contribute to the house & I'm completely house trained (am a bit of a handy-woman & even come with tools to help with odd jobs around the house). I enjoy living with mature, clean, positive & professional adults with a secure disposition that have their work⁄life⁄fun balance down pat. I've got a super friendly, indoor 13yr old female tabby cat. She's awesome company, spends most of the time sleeping on my bed & is a real gem of a furry friend, you're going to love her. I'm hoping to share space with conscious, connected people that want to create a home, not just a house to live in. Art is my life blood so a space to create is also a must in my new abode (perhaps the garage or a sunroom for example), I know the perfect home is out there! Look forward to meeting you Chat soon Jen
I'm easygoing, love to cook for the household and enjoy drinks on the weekend. I'm studying full time as a student till the end of this year and I receive Centrelink payments and have a casual job on the side. Looking for a relaxed household in town to live with. Feel free to message me if I sound like the right fit for you!
Hi! My name is Beth and I am 20 years old. I'm currently a first year tattoo apprentice. I love a glass of wine and a chat! But I'm also super reliable and clean! I'm mature for my age, I don't party and I rarely have people over, only my mum or sister pop in for a coffee! I'm also an independent artist so I'm always drawing or doing something arty!
I'm home from a year off travelling and back to my old desk job and I'm so ready to plant myself back in Newcastle life for a good while and have a place to come home to that feels like home. I'm pretty indoorsy, spend a lot of time cooking and other domestic type stuff, watching TV, computer, reading, studying. I'm single, non-smoker, work full time at a reliable job. Not sure what else to say without being a cliche. Get in touch, ask me anything I've left out. :-)
Sara! I'm a full time Radiography student at the uni and also working part time in retail at Charlestown. I'm an avid nana who thoroughly enjoys sitting on the lounge with a beer/wine/cuppa, a mindless to show on as background noise, and a blanket over my lap while I crochet. I also have a pet bird named Pascal. She's a tiny ball of sass who loves to pretend she's in charge. I'm looking for either an established house I can slot in to or to team up with some peeps in an adventure to find a place together. Whichever it is, I wanna do it ASAP because I thoroughly dislike my current housemates. I come complete with a dining table, two lounges, and pretty much everything required for a kitchen (except a fridge/microwave) . Hit me up if you wanna meet over a coffee or beer and we can chat!
Hi I'm Tim! I'm 29, working full time as a Civil Engineer and looking for a place to call home for the next 6 months or so (potentially more!). I spend most of my time working or out and about, so I'm only really home to eat and sleep. I'm an Early riser, easy to get along with, non smoker, occasional drinker, and have no pets. Am after a place with secure storage for my bikes, and doesn't mind the occasional girlfriend visit. Hit me up if this sounds like it suits you! Tim
Renovating my own home and I need a home close by to keep an eye on the work, meet tradies etc. I will be working part time during the duration of my stay. I come with a little girl dog who is only 5kg, very quiet and does NOT shed.
