I have been a host of couchsurfing.com since 2008 and helpx.net since 2015 (both are free accommodation sights that promote cultural exchange and community) I also for sometime have been a airbnb host. Therefore I am use to sharing where I live with others from Australia and other nations and enjoy interacting with others. I have a very friendly, caring, generous nature and am easy to get along with. I am also frugal when it comes to saving money and I am very arty crafty so always trying out ways of saving money. I would like to continue being a host for couchsurfing, helpx and airbnb hence why I would like to find a 4brm place and dont mind paying a bit extra in rent for the privilege, but am open to negotiating whether we continue hosting as a household or not Generally speaking it is not very often I get airbnb or couchsurfing requests so maybe it can be discussed each time a request comes in whether request is accepted or not. I like animals but do not have any of my own at the point in time. I ticked I have pets as I would like to find a place that is pet friendly so if other people I will be sharing with are in agreement I can get a cat. I love to socialise but am not a party animal and do not drink. Until I get to know a person I can be a bit quite at first. When in a share household before accepting a request from helpx or couchsurfing or airbnb I would discuss with others first. I am vision impaired and do have Epilepsy but am very independent. Epilepsy is well controlled by medication and on the odd occasion I do have a seizure I tend to self manage most of the time. I do all my own cooking and washing. Due to back injury, Epilepsy, Vision Impairment, I have someone that comes in for 2 hours a week to assist where needed. People I am sharing with would not be expected to provide me with any assistance needed in anyway.
