Hey guys! We're a young couple looking to move out of our current accomodation to somewhere a little closer to our respective schools, and where we can bring our furkid-family members with us! Gemma is a 19 year old psychology student at Monash University in her second year, and works part time as a sales assistance and puppy school instructor in the pet industry! (Which means her amazing pet product bargains are yours too! 😉) Brad is a student at Holmesglen TAFE studying his first year of Networking, is a whiz at all things technical, and would be happy to deal with any totally annoying technical failures with WiFi or your computer if a housemate ever needed a hand! Together we're hoping to bring our two furry friends - Gemma's greyhound, Bellatrix, who I assure you will have you weak in the knees within seconds, and Brad's indoor cat, Mia, who is a little princess. 🐱 (Gemma is also hoping to apply all her certified dog training skills into bringing a new puppy into the mix sometime in the near future.) We are not too picky on our new home other than friendly, fun, and carefree housemates who are happy to have a quiet night in (maybe watching horror movies, if they're up to it!) but also respect each others privacy and keep a comfortable home environment. A backyard is also pretty essential and whilst it doesn't have to be huge, you might get a bit tangled in Bellatrix's zoomies if it's small! 😸 *Our moving timeframe is from late March/early April. ☺️ *We'd also be interested in teaming up with someone who had already found/had a house and was just looking for roommates to split the rent and the fun with them! If you feel like you might have something that suits, please get into contact with us! We can't wait to hear from our new housemates. ☺️
Clean and respectful, love my dogs. Currently own a house in the Northern Suburbs but been in a job which has presented some amazing opportunities. Wanting to rent my place out and move closer to work for the business. I currently travel 2.5 hours to work one way so trying to get more of a work, life, balance. I have two huskies and a maltese which are 9 years of age, all they do is sleep most of the day, no digging or chewing or damage of property.
Currently working as a teacher as part of a program called Teach for Australia. Qualified Engineer so volunteering for a non-for-prof in that space. Love getting away to nature on the weekends, swimming, hiking, paddle boarding, camping! Health conscious, spiritual, practice yoga and mediation every day, qualified meditation teacher. Love having a chat but also balance that with alone time Not a party goer. Don't drink Clean, considerate, transparent, environmentally conscious (compost is a plus +) Looking forward to finding a great place to live!
I am pretty organized and clean. Currently I teach English to Spanish speakers. I am Colombian and that includes lots of fun, laughing, cooking and hanging out. I consider myself pretty patient and relax. Particulary enjoy reading, dancing, going to the beach, go to cultural spaces. Quite love art, writing, watching movies and learning new things.
Hello, my name is Kai. I am a Chinese male coming from the lovely country of Malaysia. Currently, I am a medical student in my last year of my course and I have the opportunity and will be doing my hospital attachments in Aussie i.e Kingston Centre and Alfred Hospital. I'm easy going, likes to keep things clean and simple, loves outdoor activities, travel, adventures and gym.
I have a great room available (hoping by end of March) as we are currently doing some renovations to the home. The home is in Cheltenham which is approximately 19 km from the CBD, 5 min from the beach and 5 min from the train station . There is also a bus stop 5 min walk from our home. The train is express and goes directly into the city. It's just myself and my 15 year old daughter living at the home. We are very relaxed, easy going as well as very family orientated. The home has ducted heating and cooling,, internet, off street parking and a swimming pool. The only rule is that you treat us and the home with respect. If things don't work out , 4 weeks notice will be given. Please let me know if you are interested. Hope to chat soon.
One room available for rent in Cheltenham. The modern townhouse is located conveniently to everything such as nearby beaches, golf clubs, shopping centres (Southland Shopping Centre, Chadstone etc.), train stations, bus stops, universities (Monash) etc. However, I have to say it is located in the quite street :) The house has pretty much everything you need such as TV, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and even a little coffee machine etc. Also, the house has a little court yard (with some greens and two car parking spaces in the garage and lots of street parking spaces.) The available room for rent is unfurnished so you can bring your own furniture if you'd like :) If you move in, you will share the house with two individual housemates who are both full time workers (professionals). The vibe of house is 'quite laid back, respectful&friendly, tidy&clean, modern&young but mature, etc.' If you are interested and would like to come over for an inspection yourself, please do not hesitate to contact me. Cheers Bob.
Hello! My name is Dinesh from Mumbai, India. l’ll be studying at Monash (Clayton campus) for my Masters in Advanced Mechanical Engineering. I'm looking for a place within walking or easy public transport distance to Clayton Campus. What’s up everyone? I'm easy going, fun, positive and totally respectful of others' space. I like to hang out, have a drink, share a meal or go out and socialize. I enjoy photography, sports, watching movies, good food and travelling. I'm also keen to explore the city and surrounding areas for some outdoor adventures. I will help to keep the place clean and I assure timely payment of bills. If you have a room or are looking for someone to rent a place with, feel free to message me.
Hey everyone! Me and Jane, we are looking for a cosy private housing, preferably close to Monash University. We have just moved to Oz for our Master of Education courses and are eager to find a good place to rent for next 2 years. We used to live together and by ourselves for last 10 years in Moscow, enjoying each others' company and our privacy, so our host can expect no parties, guests and other funny stuff. Instead, our landlord/lady would 100% enjoy an award-winning level of tidiness and wellbeing we bring to the house we live.
Need a place to move into ASAP for myself and a friend. We need at least two rooms around Oakleigh, Bentleigh, Moorabbin areas. I am fun and bubbly, I love meeting new people and socializing. I am passionate about photography and good food, I love to be active, I love exercising as it fills me with the sense of achievement when I reach specific goals I set for myself, I spend alot of time at the gym training. I love to make people feel good, as it makes me feel equally good to see someone smile. I am a clean freak and I love everything to be tidy so I need to be living with people who will be respectful of communal areas and keep them clean and tidy. I don't like partying, I don't drink and I don't smoke. I am a full time worker on a contract so payments won't be an issue. I will also need parking as I have my own car and I also have my own double bed.
Hi, we are a German couple. We want to find a long term accomodation as we are planning to stay three to four years in Melbourne. We both have been living in shared flats for many years and are looking for a relaxed rather than a party place. Let me write a bit about us so you get a first impression. We both have studied in the beautiful little town of Heidelberg in the South West of Germany and have been a couple since 2010. We decided to go to Australia a year ago and Andrea found a job as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University in Clayton. Before her job starts in March we took the opportunity to travel throughout New Zealand. Now the real adventure begins, we have to find a place to live and get settled into our new lives. We both enjoy nature, outdoors and like to go for walks or day hikes. We cook a lot and like to invite friends for dinner every once in a while. Arne: I have studied cultural anthropology, political science and psychology. I like to travel and I have seen my share of the world: I was one of the countless backpackers in Oz after my civil service in 2005. Later I went to Chile for an exchange year. The university there was not so good, so I rather started travelling throughout Latin America from Fireland to Mexico. I took my time to finish my studies and read some more interesting books about world history, philosophy and the global financial system. After university I tried to get a job in an IT company and was more than surprised when they actually hired me. I did a crash course in IT & project management and really liked it. In 2014 my company sent me to work for one of the big banks in Zurich, Switzerland, and I have stayed there until moving to Melbourne. Once we are settled in I will start looking for an IT job again. I have been playing indoor volleyball for my entire life and want to join a team again. But let's find a new home first... Andrea: I grew up in a German city close to the Dutch border and did my bachelor in Nijmegen. I moved to Heidelberg for my master in molecular biology and to Uppsala, Sweden, for an exchange semestre. I got my PhD in 2015. I had a great Ultimate Frisbee team in Heidelberg and am really looking forward to join one in Melbourne. So please let us know if you think we would fit in. Happy to come over to get to know eatch other in person.
Hey! I'm Kris - A deferred Uni student(Bachelor of Animation) looking to return study next year. Currently searching for part-time work while I do volunteer work. There are polished Tasmanian Oak timber floor boards throughout the home. It has recently had the kitchen renovated and is undergoing some minor renovations but nothing that would interfere with a housemate but will only make the place more appealing when completed. I am seeking an honest, reliable, independent, mature, responsible, clean and tidy housemate. I would prefer female, no couples thanks. This is NOT a party house, so no unemployed or party people need apply. Strictly NO smoking on property at all (inside and out) including any visitors. It would be great if you were prepared to supply references, confirm employment and pass Police and credit checks if requested. I would prefer someone who is working full-time, unless they are a student. Shared house cleaning responsibilities and general property duties are required but can be negotiated. To enquire about the room, please contact me via email or mobile and we can chat some more and then hopefully move forward with things. More details coming soon... Howdy, Pleasure to meet you, I'm Alex, a little bit about myself, I'm 29, was running my own share house for 5 years and know the drill, can provide rental history and refernces. I'm the quiet one that spends most of the time in his room. I respect the house and the people i live with. I'm An electrician working for a company called Miele and have had a stable job there for years. I can promise a decent housemate that doesn't have any issues paying on time and doesn't leave crap lying around the house. My only major thing i need back from the household is I do need space in a corner somewhere for a car to go under a tarp and be left alone, I do need a little bit of storage space too but nothing insane, mostly a couple of boxes. Thanks for your time, Let me know if you reckon I might fit in. Alex
