(Looking for a place to live for 3 months starting from 25-30 Jun) I am quiet and I follow house rules. I work and study full time, therefore, I am either away or studying for most of the time. I have lived in various shared accommodations previously. I like pets (but I don't have one) and get along well with most people. I have no dietary or other special requirements, as long as I can live somewhere reasonably clean and quiet (near where I work), I'll be happy:)
Hi there! My name is Grace and I'm currently looking for a warm and friendly home! I'm 25, currently working part time as a nurse and studying part time doing my postgraduate of emergency nursing. I love to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Love to gym and love to cook :) I keep mostly to myself, prefer to socialise with friend outside of home. Respect that a house is shared and needs to be cared for. I'm super clean, and always will clean up after myself. And hope to find a housemate with alike values.
Hi! My name is Emma. I'm 26 years old and I'm a High School English Teacher looking for a team up. I've got permanent employment, basically an entire houses' worth of furniture, so all you'd need to bring is things for your own room (and maybe a dining table - thats the one thing I don't have) A little bit more about me: I am an introvert, though I am working on pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. I'm a massive nerd, and I have the following consoles which I am happy to share: SNES, WiiU, Switch, Xbox 360. Plus I am looking to get a Wii to play my extensive collection of Gamecube games and a PS4 to play the games I have of those too. I have a lot of books, and enjoy reading. My other hobbies include board games, table top games (DnD and the like), Movies and TV. I also have a pet cat, who's name is Snooker. She's a 4 year old Domestic Short Hair, all black with a little white splash. She loves napping, eating, and being petted then smacking your arm away for little to no reason. She's quite a social, vocal cat. You can pick her up, but she won't always like that, and you'll be covered in black fur if you do. I would be commuting to Macleod every day, leaving nice and early in the morning (7am) and not returning until the evening (past 5:30pm) so I will need somewhere to park my car. I won't be ready to move until school holidays which is starting from the 30th of June, so we would have lots of time to get to know each other. My ideal housemate is someone who is nice, clean, with stable employment too. I wouldn't mind someone I click with as friends and can hang out with occasionally, though would also be ok with doing their own things at times. I don't mind about gender, provided you're a decent, kind person. LGTBTI+ very welcome to message too! I enjoy cooking, mostly breakfast foods. I do like meal planning my week, but I wouldn't mind someone who would like to share meals from time to time. I'm also partial to the occasional drink, though I wouldn't like living with someone who wants to have people constantly over and for parties. That's just not me. I'm more of a low-key hangout person, and I'd like someone who's similar in that respect. People who enjoy bad puns would be more than welcome. If you don't enjoy bad puns and lame jokes... I might not be the house mate for you.
Hello there, im a 28 year old female moving from Perth to Melbourne on the 11th of June. Im a fairly easy going person who is looking to board a single room in a quiet household. I enjoy reading, bush walking, craft and meditation. I would like to live in a household with others who respect one another, and are responsible with sharing household cleaning ☺ i am a social person, yet i value my housemates privacy and boundaries. I can provide references if requested. Please get in touch if you may be looking to fill a furnished room
I'm a second year Media and Communications student at La Trobe. I'm from a small country town on the border of NSW and Victoria and made the big move to the city a year ago. Have been living on residence but decided it’s time to move into my own space as I have outgrown res. I love watching the footy, occasional night out dancing and Netflix. I like keeping to myself, but also love hanging out with my roommates. I love meeting new people and being social! easy to get along with and am always up for a chat. I’m clean and respectful of other people’s space,as I know what its like to want your own! Shout out if you’d like to live with me.
I'm a Norwegian student in need of a house! I've got 6 years of experience with living with housemates, so I keep it clean and won't invade your personal space. I'm laid back, social and a bit artsy with a passion for coffee and wine. Ps: I make amazing crepes and clean when I'm bored.
I am looking for a home suitable for my self and my much loved pets, I am pursuing my career (and passion) within the disability sector; I have been a support worker and volunteer for 5 and a half years mainly working with people who have autism and display behavior of concern. I would like a home with a backyard for my dog Tulip to play, Tulip is a 10 month old German Shepherd x, she can be timid with new people but is great with other dogs, she may take a little bit of time to warm to you but once she has she is a very kind, gentle and loving little girl. I really like gardening, crafts of any kind, sharing meals and a drink every now and then, music playing in the house, cooking, and many other things. I am a clean and tidy person and will clean as I go! I have some furniture but would prefer to move with someone who also has furniture and other items :)
Hey! My Name is Amanda I am super easy going and fun to live with! I am from California and moved to Melbourne for study at La Trobe University. I am organized, and clean up after any mess I make. Love having fun nights in watching netflix, making dinner, playing games, etc. I love to being able to get along with my flatemates and being able to come home and be up for a hangout, as well as be able to have "me" time. Im also very respectful when it comes to noise responsibilities etc. Hopefully we can become really good friends and enjoy the home we share!
I work full time in the cbd and am studying part time to be a primary teacher so you won't catch me partying hard much! However, I love a good Netflix binge and beer/wine with my housemates or a good chat. Currently, I don't have a pet but ideally would love to find a home that's open to the idea of me adopting a greyhound in the near future. I would love to find a place to call home for at least a year with some easy going and friendly people/ person. Over the years, I've come to learn that I am a pretty neat and tidy person so ideally I'd like to live with like minded ppl. I'm not OCD but smelly bins, rotten veg and icky bathrooms are hopefully all in my past and yours too😊
hiii I am looking for a new accomodation not too far from la Trobe University as I study there. I’m in my second year in bachelor of animal and vet bioscience and in 21 yrs old ... I am open minded, LGBT friendly and respects everyone's privacy. Can I be your new housemate?
Hey there, Looking for a place mid-far east/south of Melbourne. I'm fairly introverted, but if you give me the time, I'll have a good chat. I work casually in entertainment tech doing things like stagehanding and lighting for productions. I'm a regular smoker of green and brown, happy not to do it inside. Drinking /occasionally/. I may get a bit adventurous at times but always prefer to clean up after myself and make sure the people around me are comfortable. I enjoy skating, arts, and playing acoustic guitar in my free time. Still working out where I want to direct these hobbies, so I'd like to live somewhere I can comfortably do that. I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers
Hi I’m Adam! Originally from Perth but now call Melbourne home. I’m 31, and am a fibre optic technician/team leader working in the telecommunications industry. I’m based mainly in the city, but do have to travel, or do night shift every once in a while. I’ve lived out of home for most of my adult life so I know the ins and outs of living with others. I like to be friends with the people I live with, but don’t expect to hang out all the time. I enjoy my personal space as I’m sure you do too. I pay my bills on time, and whilst not much of a clean freak, I do like things to be tidy. I come with my good friend and fur-son Rudie. He’s an Australian Koolie x Border Collie so he loves to run around and chase balls, but he’s just as happy to cuddle up on the couch and ask you for pats all day. I’m happy for my housemates to be as much or as little as involved with him as they feel. I may ask you to feed him or look after him for a weekend or so, but it’s totally fine if you don’t want to. I can always organize something else. Basically he’s my responsibility. I don’t do much on school nights but on weekends I like to go and have a beer with friends, eat as much food as I possibly can, go catch a punk/hardcore show, watch some sport, or get away with rudie for a night or 2. That’s about all I can think of but any questions, feel free to ask!
I'm a tidy, friendly, respectful, open minded, and easy to get along with 34 y/o guy. I've being living in the U.K. (London and Brighton) for the past 7 years and am moving back to Melbourne to begin a Master's degree full time. I also work part time as an I.T. consultant. When not studying or working I love cooking, music, gigs, film, galleries, as well as cycling, swimming, bush walking and getting out into nature. I'm pretty independent and keep myself busy but would like to find a communal house with like minded people who enjoy the odd chat over a meal or glass of wine. Not essential but somewhere with a garden would be nice, also happy to live with furry friends. Looking mainly in Northern Melbourne but will consider anywhere within 30 minutes of Melbourne Uni. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Sam.
Easy going guy with varied interests. Clean, tidy, responsible and financially secure. I work in part time sales and avid classical musician. My background is in science and love a great all encompassing conversation over drinks. I’m a great cook, health or otherwise and a fitness enthusiast.
Hi, I moved to Australia from New Zealand to be closer to my daughter and new granddaughter. I am clean and tidy, non smoker and rarely drink. I am a quite housemate and do not have parties. Im looking to live with someone who is similar in regards to being neat, tidy and a non smoker. I work for the Banyule Council so have a steady income coming in. Looking forward starting my next phase in life in Australia.
Hi I'm Ella Im a clean quiet friendly girl who is happy to make friends and have a chat but I usually keep to myself. I live with my pet guinea pigs and we are looking for a place to move out to. Im helpful with cleaning and cooking and other household stuff .
I'm a success oriented person and I work a lot on the computer or ride my BMX a lot when I get home from my job. My current job titles are Customer Service Manager and Software Solutions Engineer for my father's caravan plumbing business. But I'm all for having a couple drinks on a Friday night and having great DNMs about life, the world, being a high quality person and other groovy stuff. Introverted by nature but not always; I'm a friendly person and love smiling and seeing others do the same. I'm also part of a Toastmasters public speaking club and just started taking drama classes. Here's the hard talk: I'm not the type to get in loud arguments or be overly emotional about things, I prefer to just talk about an issue and get it sorted. People with negative tendencies, pessimistic nihilists, lazy people, and people who complain about society, the government and other people a lot need not apply. I want a symbiotic relationship - I want to learn and grow with you. If you're into Tony Robins or similar, we should get along just fine. :)
