We are a friendly couple. I am 37. My daughter is in primary school. We are easy going. We Work During the day and usually go to bed early through the week. We have a cat, dog and chickens. We use the ensuite bathroom so the main bathroom is free. (We do use the bath in this bathroom occasionally). Good sized bedroom with queen sized bed, a desk, drawers and wardrobe. Linen included if needed. Bills and unlimited internet access included. We have central heating and cooling. Our last boarder lived with us for over a year and we all co-habited well together! We are walking distance to the uni- about 8-10 minute drive into town. The bus stop is very close.
We are a recently retired couple (ex teacher and social worker) offering a Homestay room in a quiet home. Students or others who need a calm environment will be most at home with us. The house is in walking distance to the CBD but is also on two bus routes into the city. It has central heating and air conditioning for comfort year-round. The room is large and comfortable, furnished with everything you will need for your stay. Bathroom shared with one other, currently a female Fed Uni student. Included in the rent: ~ Unlimited internet access ~ Meals ~ Utilities ~ Unlimited affection from our old but frisky dog (little poodle)
My house is a recently renovated miner's cottage in walking distance to Bakery Hill shops, Bridge Mall, Bus Stop and Train Station. Central heating will keep you cosy in the cooler months. In a quiet street just off Victoria Street and close to the Melbourne exit. Large room, lovely neighbours. Evening meals are negotiable for a bit extra on top of the rent. What you will really appreciate is the location, as it is only 1.5 kms from the CBD. It is well within walking distance to Bridge Mall, and the historic Sturt St precinct, bustling with cafes, restaurants, galleries and shopping.
