Hi, I am an engineer by profession who is moving to Canberra from Dubai. I will be a full time employee with ACT Health and my workplace will be in Symonston therefore looking for an accommodation in a nearby area so I can walk or use Public transport to reach my workplace until I get a Car.
G'day, I'm jake! I'm a full time student at Flinders University in Adelaide. I'm looking for somewhere semi rural (at least with a view!) around Canberra because I have secured a paid internship there over the summer university holidays. I'm originally from the Riverland in SA and I'm a classic country boy, complete with ute! I love camping and being outdoors / exploring. I'm fit and go to the gym most mornings. I'm into photography, piano and love to sit around and have a decent chat! I'm very neat and tidy and am respectful to others. I'll probably be out most weekends exploring the new area and taking photographs! I much prefer a phone conversation as it's easier to gauge someone's personality! I hope to hear from you soon :)
My name is Natalia, 25years old, I am currently in France and I plan to move in Australia in the beginning of November for a 6 month stay. I am a PhD student in Physics and I will be in ANU for my last 6 months of PhD. I am quiet and respectfull of ones privacy and freedom. I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh.
Hi! I will be working at DHS and will be new to Canberra moving from New Zealand. I like to lift weights, explore new places (and photograph the crap out of them), play board games, watch movies and read. It would be great if we can be friends too as I will be needing some :/ Partial to a few social beers. Cheers.
I'm a very calm and chilled out person. I find it very hard to be or stay angry, and am always open to talking about issues and compromising. I spend most of my free time playing games or reading. I was born in sydney, and lived there until 2015 when i moved to canberra for a change of scenery and an international program that was available at a school down here. I'm a tidy person and a decent cook.
Im really easy going, I work full time plus 3 nights a week. I am very clean, non-smoker and non-drinker. I spend many afternoons out with my friends. I have recently moved from Bowral NSW. I enjoy playing soccer, fishing and camping.
We're a really easy going and friendly couple in our early 20s! Both work full-time and I'm study nursing part-time at UC. We have a German Shepard X Rotti who is a loveable and well trained dog. Myself and Rahul have our own room furniture so an unfurnished room is a must. I also work currently as a shift worker - my shifts generally start around 7am and finish after lunch (I don't do any afternoon shifts but I do sleep at work twice a month). We work hard 6 days a week and enjoy relaxing on Sundays. We also enjoy going to the coast a few weekends a year to see our friends there.

Looking for a nice, calm and collected person either working full/part time or studying to live with a couple in their early 30's. Suitable person will be mid 30's or under. Quiet street and neighbourhood. We do not have parties and we are not drinkers. We enjoy the occasional relaxed games night out on the patio while trying not to get eaten by insects. We do not mind if you want to keep to yourself. We are very private people. The house is very secure with an alarm. 1 other person in the house works shift work so suitable person must be considerate of this. The particular room is medium size and has a massive wardrobe - the length of the room. We are happy to rent the room furnished or unfurnished and we can negotiate price to reflect either option. I have one very large room to rent that is right at the front door, bathroom and toilet that will be used as your own as there is two. Lounge room is hardly used so you will pretty much have the front of the house to yourself. Six car garage, dogs, huge yard, fully fenced, house is going to be renovated but won't include the bedroom or bathroom or toilet you will use. Close to shops and bus stops. Must be ok with kids as my main flat mate has two children and i have my daughter occasionally so a police check is a must. Smokers ok but outside is a must and not around the kids. The dogs we have are well trained and outside dogs. Ducted heating and cooling, internet.
I have a room available in my beautiful home, which I am looking to share with a like-minded, relaxed individual. This house is in a great location. It’s a 6-minute drive to Kingston and Manuka ($8 Uber), 800m from Narrabundah Shops, 7 minutes to Fyshwick, 7 minutes to Russell Offices and Campbell Park, 10 minutes to the CBD and 13 minutes to Woden and Canberra Hospital. Your room is unfurnished with built in robes with full length mirrors, access to your own (separate) bathroom, which may very rarely be shared with visitors, and your own lockable garage with ample storage space. The living area, dining room and kitchen are quite large and spacious. There is also a study/ spare room that can be used for some additional storage, and for guests. The backyard is easy care, spacious and catches the sunlight for most of the day. The house is fairly well established, but I welcome your artistic flare…particularly if you have an outdoor setting. That would be a huge win :P Bills are not included in the price. Naked DSL internet is available at $35 per/month and bills (gas and electricity) come through quarterly I have a dog, a 5 year-old Kelpie cross who loves cuddles! Other pets will not be considered at this stage. Couples and families will not be considered. Move in date is negotiable :)

I am fun and friendly. I can keep to myself and know how to cook
I am a bubbly, fun friendly lady who loves to socialise but also appreciates quiet time and relaxing in my room and respect that others also need their space.. I am clean and tidy and don't mind sharing the chores of everyday. I am not a fantastic cook but love to give it a go.. I do love baking though. I work part time at Aldi Weston (25+ hours a week) and am looking into studying vet nursing. I have two beautiful cats ( mum and son) they are both well mannered (sometimes a little shy) they are both desexed and toilet trained.
I am a respectful tidy full time employed young man looking to share a house. Yep - so my gap-year lasted 4, during which time I became a qualified tradesman and will keep working while I think about what to do next in my life. I like to keep active getting out on my pushie after work or taking my dirt bike into the Brindabellas. Happy to chat over a beer at the end of the day but I also appreciate having some time to myself. I have a townhouse full of furniture which I can bring to share but can also store if moving into a room. I do have a group of mates with whom I enjoy socialising but am looking to join a house where there is opportunity to socialise and chat over a beer.
Hey 👋 My name is Sahra I moved to canberra about 5months ago from the Gold Coast. Thought id just try out canberras winter and now looking to stay for the summer. I work as a assistant manager in Housekeeping so i do respect a good tidy house. I like to think im quite easy going, dont have many friends in canberra so i like to explore, theres more outside than in. But i do love a good movie marathon 😁
Hi, I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard) for one person that is AVAILABLE now. The maximum people in the house is two - there are only two bedrooms. I am away often for extended periods (I am a full-time research student) but I will be around more after late October. My house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN limited wireless and 4G. There is off-street parking for two smaller cars and on-street parking is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. Because I have been away a lot, I am looking for someone who is willing to do the garden while I am not there - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do it. You must be a clean and tidy person to live with and actually know how to clean (you'd be suprised...!). I prefer a vegetarian household - i.e. I do not eat meat, fish or poultry - but if you do eat meat then you are welcome to cook meat on the gas bbq that is undercover just outside the kitchen door. I do not want more furniture brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. Bills would be shared with my share being based on a pro-rata basis for when I am there i.e. if I am away for extended periods and not just a weekend or week or two on hols. No animals/pets sorry even though I occasionally have my kelpie come and stay. So you will have to like dogs. She is quiet and well trained. Please do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful. To know a bit more about me see my uni open access web link at the Fenner School of Environment and Society by doing a Google search. Cheers, Juliana
