Hi there ! Let's start with the main informations: I'm Matthieu, a 29 yeards old frenchie who just finished his studies in France, and found a position at Monash Clayton. I'll arrive on the 29th October and I should start on the 7th November, which gives me a week to find the perfect home! I have lived with flatmates, males and females, since I started the University, so for more than 10 years (with one year in Quebec). Thus I'm quite aware of the "dos and don'ts", being tidy and respectful of other's tranquillity. As I will work full time, I prefer to find a place quiet during the week. Of course, I won't be a killjoy during the weekend! Basically, I think that I'm your average flatmate, keen to have a beer, watching a movie or having dinner together while catching up. I like to think flatmates are not there just to share the bills (for example, in my last flatsharing, we had a hangout group conversation for all of us), and I want to call the place where I live 'home'! Please note that I really would like to find a smoke-free place (it has to be said!). In my free time, I like to play volleyball, squash or badminton, to watch some series (I can live with English subtitles ;-) ), listening to music (especially the concerts) and to discover the place where I live. So if you are willing to show me the ropes and can help me to improve (or just can stand) my English, that would be great! See you soon ! Matth

I'm about to become a PhD student in the Health Economics at Monash University, after 5 years of working in academia in the UK. I've lived in a number of shared houses before (with up to 12 people); so I am confident I can be a clean and tidy house/flatmate, and can respect any house rules. I'm pretty outgoing and easy to get on with, and I think a house share would be a great way to meet people and get to know Melbourne better. In my spare time, I enjoy creative pursuits, like writing and drawing; as well as activities like bushwalking, which I intend to do more of when I get to Melbourne. In the UK I was also a volunteer dog-walker for a national charity and would love to do something similar once I've moved.
Working fulltime in huntingdale area (video games artist) seeking a long/short term private room. No requirements apart from friendly housemate(s). Any Q's let me know and feel free to message me if you have something available. Cheers! (Ps often away weekends so that might be a bonus)

Hi guys, My name is Shzad, you can call me Shiraz if thats easier. I'm in my mid thirties. I'm of mixed ethnic background and moved to Australia 6 years ago. I work at a metal finishing and restoration company. Have been living in Melbourne for about 5 years now, so have plenty of exposure and experience with the local way of life. I'm crazy about historic re enactment, medieval arms and armor, art history, military history, animals, gym , artistic metalwork, blacksmithing and swordsmithing. Researching and making reproductions of historic armor is my main passion ;) I do not smoke, I do not do drugs and I do not drink. I'm very particular about hygiene and cleanliness, specially when it comes to the bathroom and kitchen. I'm non-religious, so have so problem with what others cook or eat. I'm pretty relaxed and laid back, and usually mind my own business. Not a part animals, pretty reserved and quiet, LGBT friendly, I have a reasonably good concept of privacy and respecting other people's space, but willing to interact when needed. I've been living in share houses for many years now, so I have plenty experience. I've lived with locals as well as international students.
Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a student currently studying fashion design at RMIT and working part-time at Monash University with the Academy of Performing Arts. I have a friend who is moving down from Sydney in late October/early November so we're looking for a place with two bedrooms. I work late nights as an usher at the university theatre, so we're looking for a place near the Monash Clayton campus. Nadia is still organizing things for their move down to Melbourne, but they're looking to study history at Melbourne University while working part time. I love theatre, sewing, reading, and hanging out with friends watching rubbish telly and movies. I'm a bit of a nerd and so is Nadia. We're both very clean roommates who love to cook and drink coffee. I mostly make costumes in my spare time, but I've been known to make the odd made to measure outfit here and there. Who knows, there might be something you'd like that I can make for you!
I am Ramin, 25 years and I am full time working in the coolest restaurant in Oakleigh. I just moved to Melbourne 2nd March from Holland. I am here to work full time and to start study in February. I am an easy going person who likes to socialise with people. I am clean and considerable. I have been working in a restaurant for 6 years, so I have passion for food and love being with humans. Generally a happy, friendly and sociable person who loves to have a chat and laugh along the way.
I've been living on campus at Monash for the last year but want to move into a share house because rent on campus is way too expensive for what it is. I'm 20, I'll be in second year science next year hoping to major in maths and environmental sciences. From Gippsland and will likely go back every weekend to work and play netball so I won't be around 24/7. Ideally after around $160-$180 a week with an ensuite but not too fussed. Also probably won't want to move in until February.
Single female, clean, quiet, respectful. Ive recently re-located back to Melb looking for a relaxed place for 4-6 months. I like animals but don't have any. Need furnished place, but not a problem. Have 2 adult children. Previously worked in aged care, and recently as a receptionist. Enjoy being outdoors, walking.
Chilled, neat, & respectful person. I am in the medical field and I am looking to rent in the Clayton area, close to Monash Medical Centre. For fun, I go out with friends , explore Melbourne and regional Victoria on day trips. I get bored easily, so I also do quite a bit of overseas travel :) Love hiking, so it will be a bonus if my future housemates do as well!
I am very friendly and easy going! I dont like to disturb people, I am an obsessive cleaner. I am studying Nursing and I am an international student with an open mind.
I am a female who has recently moved from Perth, WA to Melbourne. I am looking for professional work and will be studying part time in the evenings at the Uni of Melbourne. I am looking for a non-party house due to my studies. I am clean and respectful of others space, I mind my business but I am not a snob I am social and enjoy getting to know people I am living with without intruding on their privacy.
Full time work so will pay rent on time and love to keep house neat and tidy.
Hi there, I'm a 24yo female student, doing a master's degree at Monash and the course is due for completion in this December. So I will soon become a young professional. I'm a friendly, respectful and considerate person and well-trained to share the house with others, which means I don't make mess or leave dishes in the sink for five days or make noises at night etc and I would expect the same from you. I like my home to be clean, so sharing housework and keeping the place clean and tidy is very important. I enjoy having quiet time at home, doing my own things, such as reading or studying, so party houses or households having too many visitors are my type. But of course, I would love to have a chat or watch TV with my housemate(s). I'm hoping to move in January or February 2017. It could be either a room in an existing share house or teaming up to start a new one, preferably with people of a similar age. Lastly, as I have a car, having a spot for my little runabout is essential. If you find I may be the one you're looking for, please feel free to drop me a message or ask me any questions : ) Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jessica

Great 4 bedroom property available in Oakleigh! We're all moving out at the end of the year so a great sharehouse will be available as of the 1st of December. It's 4 bedroom, one with ensuite, separate bathroom and two standalone toilets. There's a front a rear patio which are great for entertaining, large living room, spacious kitchen and laundry. There's also room for 2 cars worth of off street parking. The house was recently repainted so it's looking great and is ready to move in! It's close to Monash Uni, Oakleigh shops and the train station, so great for students. Rent is $2000 per month for the whole house. There are two months left on the current lease and it is very likely that the lease can be extended for another year. We're looking for a group of 4 or we can help you find a group if you're flexible :) We look forward to hearing from you!

Hello there, I am a full time work-aholic as a Project Manager in Construction. Currently working in insurance construction for the past two years! Been in Melbourne last two years (originally from Sydney/Canberra) living mainly near the SE Suburbs (Malvern East & Chadstone). Looking relocate somewhere in the near vicinity of work in Oakleigh South. Fairly quiet during the week and generally head out on the weekends to catch a gig/show or venture around! Love weekend trips away visiting the family! I'm easy going, big heart, honest, clean and great with bills! I love music and the arts, that is my passion! I'm 34 years young, play guitar and program songs. I also enjoy sculpting, painting and I adore all animals. Hoping to find a place with happy fun vibes with those of a similar lifestyle preference!
Looking to find a place early 2017, not in any rush. Open to teaming up with some other people to start a house share up. Relaxed and easy going, work as a part-time Nurse and student. Like to keep my place neat and tidy, enjoy socialising, but also like to have my own space as well as respect that in others. Enjoy a active lifestyle and the occasional eat in with flatmates.
I work Full time in IT in the Malvern area. Looking for something long term and around this area or the Oakleigh area. I am easy going, very reliable. Non-smoker, social drinker, not a party animal. I play soccer, ride my bike.
I'm a very open-minded person. I'd really like to get to know some new people and find some friends but I do respect people's space and I'm rather a calm person. I like doing sports, cooking, reading and - of course - travelling and seeing new places. I enjoy going out as much as sitting at home watching a movie, listening to some music or just having a good talk. I'm interested in different cultures and lifestyles and I really hope to find a nice place to stay until the end of December.
Hi everyone! I just returned from living in India and travelling around Asia for the last year. I was previously studying science and engineering at Monash Uni, but now am changing courses and universities next year. I currently study by distance through Open University, so I will be a study bug some of the time, but I love the odd wine and cheese night as well. I'm happy to make friends with whoever I live with, but I am independent so if you'd rather mostly keep to yourself, I am ok with that too. I am staying with friends as I just arrived back a couple of weeks ago, so finding something furnished where I could move in ASAP would be ideal. Thanks!
My sister Tegan and I are keeping an eye out for a new place to call home. We are looking around the Clayton area to either start up a new house or find an existing house with cool family members. We are both poor trash scum and are looking to keep our rent under $500pcm. We are currently living in Glen Iris and are just looking to cut back on our bills and be closer to uni (where we spend all our time anyway). About us: Tegan studies archaeology at monash (not dinosaurs) and Rach studies psych at monash (but can't read your mind). We are eco-friendly, feminist-friendly, vego-friendly, fregan-friendly, queer-friendly, poly-friendly, nudity-friendly, as well as the regular type of friendly, and we're looking for a household of likeminded people. Ideally we'd like to live in a house that is at least somewhat communal. We are highly social creatures so living with family members we can come home to cuddle at the end of a long day would be superb. We're massive home-bodies but we love meeting new people, having friends over for dinner and red wine (usually wrapping up before midnight) or venturing out to lucky coq for dinner and games of pool. We are clean but tend to leave our stuff around communal areas, and we're thoroughly reliable regarding rent and bills. We have both lived in shared accom for 3+ years. If we sound like the kind of people you'd like to hang with sometimes and be cuddled by a lot then please shoot us a message! xo
I'm an easy-going and reliable person that loves a good laugh and spending time with friends and family. I love adventuring around and am currently studying at Monash Uni to become a teacher. I'm looking to move out to a place near uni at the beginning of next year!
