I’m Melanie, a 27-year old PhD student from Germany and looking for a room close to Monash University. I’ll bring several years of experience in living in shared houses with all kinds of different people and love traveling, seeing new things and getting to know new people. I’m looking for an easy-going, sociable atmosphere and love getting together to hang out and cook, enjoy a glass of wine, watch a movie, go for a walk or something like that. Still, I’m not looking for a 24/7 babysitter and it should always be possible to just close your door and have privacy. I don’t mind if an apartment shows that someone is living there, so it doesn’t always have to be spotlessly clean and I can tolerate a certain degree of chaos, but in general I appreciate a somewhat developed sense of tidiness, especially around the kitchen and bathroom. But my general experience is that a common ground for living together can always be found, so I’m a fan of open and direct communication, honesty and respect :)
Hi, I'm Steve - I'm 24 - I study Osteopathy - I'm a Personal Trainer, Nutritionist and Strength and Conditioning Coach - I work with KX as a Pilates Instructor - I'm super domesticated - I love a good coffee, Sriracha and the odd wine - I enjoy reading, playing chess, lifting heavy things and a good pun I've spent a good portion of my adult life backpacking, so I get how to live in a share house. I can offer good banter, stories, and thoughtful discussions, and will probably need your body so I can practice my Osteo techniques and massage skills. I'm looking for something more long term. I like a tidy home, and enjoy when people are around. Like any student, there are times when I need some space to hit the books. I'd love to meet you and see your place! Coffee?

I am a 25 year old New Zealander living in Melbourne working at Monash University. I am a biologist with an interest in mosquitoes! I thrive on outdoor adventures (rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, yoga). Meeting new people is something I really enjoy doing and have been described as very easy going, caring and courteous by my friends. I am courteous and respectful of people's space and time. I strongly believe in creating a positive atmosphere in which people are free to express themselves in doing so we can learn and share from one another. Living In communal settings I know the importance of having a clean and tidy environment, of which I endeavor to uphold. I can also make a legendary butter chicken dish! :)

Hi, we are a German couple. We want to find a long term accomodation as we are planning to stay three to four years in Melbourne. We both have been living in shared flats for many years and are looking for a relaxed rather than a party place. Let me write a bit about us so you get a first impression. We both have studied in the beautiful little town of Heidelberg in the South West of Germany and have been a couple since 2010. We decided to go to Australia a year ago and Andrea found a job as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University in Clayton. Before her job starts in March we took the opportunity to travel throughout New Zealand. Now the real adventure begins, we have to find a place to live and get settled into our new lives. We both enjoy nature, outdoors and like to go for walks or day hikes. We cook a lot and like to invite friends for dinner every once in a while. Arne: I have studied cultural anthropology, political science and psychology. I like to travel and I have seen my share of the world: I was one of the countless backpackers in Oz after my civil service in 2005. Later I went to Chile for an exchange year. The university there was not so good, so I rather started travelling throughout Latin America from Fireland to Mexico. I took my time to finish my studies and read some more interesting books about world history, philosophy and the global financial system. After university I tried to get a job in an IT company and was more than surprised when they actually hired me. I did a crash course in IT & project management and really liked it. In 2014 my company sent me to work for one of the big banks in Zurich, Switzerland, and I have stayed there until moving to Melbourne. Once we are settled in I will start looking for an IT job again. I have been playing indoor volleyball for my entire life and want to join a team again. But let's find a new home first... Andrea: I grew up in a German city close to the Dutch border and did my bachelor in Nijmegen. I moved to Heidelberg for my master in molecular biology and to Uppsala, Sweden, for an exchange semestre. I got my PhD in 2015. I had a great Ultimate Frisbee team in Heidelberg and am really looking forward to join one in Melbourne. So please let us know if you think we would fit in. Happy to come over to get to know eatch other in person.
I'm a friendly guy with a healthy sense of humour who works full time at Monash Uni. I wouldn't mind living with people who are down for a chat, or to hang out and watch netflix
Born and raised in the Northern Territory and am here studying a Bachelor of Science (Major Psych/Physiology Minor Pharmacology) at Monash. I have a variety of interests which include rugby union, gym (although it doesn't look like it), a bit of gaming, beers and I don't mind a movie or two but I'm also always interested in picking up new hobbies and interests. Coming from a small town I've learnt how to get along with almost anyone and because of that I think I am able to easily slot into a house dynamic. I am generally a clean person but am not a clean freak and to be honest I'll probably just try and match the cleanliness that everyone else in the house has so long as it isn't too bad.
Hi there, I'm Rush and I'm currently studying Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne. Im going for my 3rd year and I am looking for a nice place to stay. Im easy going, down to earth and not messy. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have something that might suit me, it's quite urgent. Cheers.

I'm studying at Monash medical center, so I'd like to live somewhere with walking distance or direct bus to MMC and with a supermarket nearby. It will be perfect if there is a nice park for running. If someone has a room like that, wish to rent out, please feel free to contact me. I'm a sporty girl, who is crazy for running and diving. Apart from that, I likes photography, design and traveling as well. I can speak fluent mandarin and english, able to read and understand Japanese and German. The most important thing is I have good personality, I'm super easy-going, friendly and respectful. I may not be so tidy (as in I don't have OCD) but definitely clean. Currently I inspected a house in Clayton area, emmm, if you'd like to team-up with me or know more about me before you decide to team-up with me, please don't hesitate to PM me. It's free I am not going to charge you.

I am currently studying chemical engineering at Monash,Clayton in my third year.I am a very easy going and friendly person.I am looking for people whom I can call friends before calling them my housemates.I do appreciate privacy and quietness when needed (to study) but also love to socialise and hangout with my housemates every once in a while. Hey! My name is Shashank from Bangalore, India. I'm a 22 year old student pursuing a Masters course in Advanced Engineering at Monash Uni, Clayton. Looking to share a house with friendly faces who want to be Awesome all day, everyday. I live on coffee and love travel and adventure. You might find yourself being dragged along on a spontaneous road-trip or a getaway, I'm just warning you in advance. I try to respect everyone irrespective of whether it's being reciprocated. I believe that people aren't weird but just different. Looking for awesome housemates who are sociable and who would love to share their stories over a few beers and a barbecue over the weekends. If you give the utmost importance to Hygiene and cleanliness around the house and would like to make the house feel more like a home, Please do leave a message. Let's get a house together and turn it into a place to remember :)
I am a student at Monash University and will be beginning my master's degree in environment and sustainability. I am from India but grew up in Thailand. I am very easy going, friendly and responsible. I like reading, watching movies and tv, listening to music and exploring new places. I am interested in an all-female and furnished accommodation.
I'm extremely tidy and independent, I work part-time, volunteer and am honest and reliable. I'm really down to earth and while I'm not the type of person to throw parties or play loud music at late hours in the night, as I'll be studying at Monash Uni, however I do thrive in this world by having a friend or two over every now and then for a coffee and some Netflix binging, having board game nights or general gaming nights. I'm looking for someone chill and good company, but also respectful and reliable with rent and cleaning up after themselves. While very young, I'm pretty mature and known for my independent nature. I'm in quite a hurry to find a place for myself as I need to move out of my current residence by March so it's probably too late for me to team up and find a place to rent (it's generally a long process) unless you've found a place already! So anyone offering a room in a house/flat/apartment do not be afraid to hit me up. Also quality banter is a requirement.
I am pretty organized and clean. Currently I teach English to Spanish speakers. I am Colombian and that includes lots of fun, laughing, cooking and hanging out. I consider myself pretty patient and relax. Particulary enjoy reading, dancing, going to the beach, go to cultural spaces. Quite love art, writing, watching movies and learning new things.
