Hi, I'm looking for a place close to my work. I'm currently working as a design engineer in the building industries. I moved to Melbourne last year, am originally from Bangladesh but grew up in Emirates and pursued my bachelors in Malaysia. I'm tidy, financially stable, love having chats and at the same time am respectful of others privacy. I love playing soccer and occasionally hit the gym. Please feel free to DM me and hopefully I could come by for an inspection :).
Hi there! I am looking for a long-term accomondation (minimum 3 months) for a couple. Here is a bit information about us: * We are a young couple in our late 20s. Tina is a software engineer and works full time in the city. Summer is a full-time PhD researcher at Monash University --well, he prefers to be called as a PhD researcher rather than a PhD student as he is paid by the Uni for his research - fair enough ;-) And he works part-time for the Uni as Research Assistant & Teach Assistant. * Places near a train station and Monash University Clayton Campus will be perfect for us. Tina commutes to the City every weekday for her 9am-5pm work and she mainly relies on the trains. Summer usually drives but sometimes he cycles to Monash to catch up some exercises. * We need a clean and quiet place. We always enjoy living and chilling out with our housemates. We always clean after ourselves and would expect the same from our housemates. After daily work, Tina usually spends some time on Coursera or reading, so does Summer. * References are available upon request. All our housemates/house owners that we have lived with are happy give a reference. Please let me know if you need one. * We can move NOW. The owner of the house where we live is kind to allow us to stay as long as we need to find the next place. The reason why we are moving is that we need to give the bedroom to the little boy who started school last month and he wants "independence and privacy" :-D * We don't have kids or pets. But we are quite comfortable to live with kids or pets. Summer actually is a dog lover. * We are caring people and are keen to share chores in/around the place. We are keen to do gardening and cleaning jobs. Summer helped on renovation projects with our previous house owners before. He is comfortable with power tools and machinery - he even holds a forklift ticket... * Our budget is somewhere around $200 per week for a couple. We are open to negotiation. It definitely depends on the location and condition of the accommodation. Inspection and a chat with our housemates are necessary for us to make a decision. * We speak English and Chinese/Mandarin. Please feel free to shoot a message if need more info :-) Cheers, Tina & Summer
Jarrah is working full time in Dandenong as a research chemist, he enjoys photography and spending time on his family's farm near Warragul. Radha is finishing his final semester at Monash University before starting professional work, but is an avid snow boarder and amateur bass guitar player. We both lead active lives, are easy going and are looking for 1-2 other people that we can get along with and share a 3-4 bedroom house with. We have both had 1+ yr experience in shared houses and value housemates that are generally clean and respectful, but enjoy shared cooking and having a laugh. If you're interested, we'd be happy to have a talk and get to know you. Cheers, Jarrah and Radha
Hey folks! I am Sumit, a Master's student of Design at Monash Caulfield. I keep my room very tidy and like staying with people who prefer keeping home organised. I do not smoke at all, nor do I appreciate my housemates smoking at home. Most of the time I am busy with studies and doing assignments but I do like to talk a bit and socialise over a glass of wine whenever I get some time from my hectic routine. I also like to cook sometimes but only vegetarian food. Staying vegetarian is a personal choice which I associate with idea of respecting every life on this planet. I am not religious but respect everyone's belief system. You can always trust me for rent as I never miss the deadline. I am looking for team-ups with up to 2 more people to share an house. Keeping it max to 3 including myself shall ensure everyone for his/her personal space. I am only interested in team-ups with working professionals (Singles) and students. I am looking for a furnished apartment/room with shared facilities of refrigerator, washer, dryer, gas as a standard equipment. A BIR is a must for my bedroom. . let me know if you think that you can team up with me / offer me a place to stay for next 1 year or more. . Thanks and kind regards.... :)
I'm a very friendly person, clean, tidy and responsible. Working full time and looking for a place where to live with nice and respectful people :)
I get along with people, working professional with impeccable work history. Tolerant and multi-cultural in outlook. Collaboration and respect makes a house work. Happy to chat but also enjoy my quiet solo times. Can cook and with a bit of planning can share meals to cook if wanted.
I'm Sam from Launceston, Tasmania, about to start my Master of Teaching degree at Monash University Clayton and I'm looking for a place somewhere in that area. I'm a pretty sociable person, love food and am always up for trying new things, moving to Melbourne being one of them! I'm generally a clean and tidy person, particularly in shared areas, I like to cook so wouldn't be against making some meals together and also love a good drink with my friends. I also love dogs so if there was ever a place with one thats a bonus! I'm hoping to meet some great people to live with, get a long with and hopefully make great friends out of.
am a full time working personal as a software developer, clean & tidy person, tech-savy. Apart from my work, I play volleyball, go to gym, swimming 2-3 days a week. Am happy to meet new people/make new friends. :)
Hey, my name is Joshua. I am a 24 year old Graduate Lawyer, who completed a Bachelor of Science (Biology) and Bachelor of Laws at Deakin in 2017. I am moving to the Oakleigh area for a new full-time job. To tell you a little about myself, I am someone who generally finds things to keep myself occupied. Most mornings before work you'll usually find me being active - either out for a run, a swim or at the gym. Of an evening I like to relax and watch netflix or a movie, go out for dinner, socialise with friends, dance or mentor students. On weekends I love a random road-trip, movie date or breach trip (oh and I love a good brunch). I think I'm pretty personable and easy to chat to, mature, reliable and passionate about what I do. I would like to think humour is something I am good at too (you can be the judge of that though). I am respectful of personal space, keep things neat and tidy, and am happy to pitch in to help. If you're interested then let me know and we can try sort something out! Ideally I don't want to live with any more than two other people (three others would be my maximum), and would prefer to have my own bathroom (but that's not a deal breaker). I would like somewhere to park my car that is off the street (or on a quiet street), and a house that is within walking distance to a train station (or not too far - I'd like to be able to go into the city with ease). I'm fairly flexible with my preferences below, and pretty easy to please, just looking for something that will be the right fit! :) If you have any questions at all, hit me up with a message! I'm open to teaming up to snag a place as well. Be great to hear from you.
I am a bachelor student enrolled in Monash at Clayton Campus. I am easy going and very much like to build friendships with housemates. I prefer to live with people who mainly speak English even though my first language is Mandarin. I like to stay with people from different parts of the world and share your own stories and culture. Also, I enjoy hanging out with people to explore the most fun part of Melbourne as I am a desperado still have not decided where to settle down in the future of my life. Travelling is also appealing to me, but with the right group of people, anywhere can be fun. I am not a squeamish person but still wish that people in a house could work together to make the house clean and tidy. If you are looking for a company as well, maybe we can start with a message!
I'm 25 yrs of age working as a full-time nurse. Looking for a place closer to Monash Medical Centre as I'll be starting my job there first week of April. Been living in Melbourne for over a year now. Used to live in NZ for 9 years, originally from the Philippines :) I am an easy-going person, happy to chat with a cup of tea or a glass of wine/cocktails haha but can also respect someone's space. And most of all I love keeping my place neat and tidy.
I've lived in Brisbane before for 1.5 year for studying at UQ. Then, I spent 6 months in France and 6 months in Germany for internships. My french sucks but i'm still going with studying german. I'm graduated in engineering and now I'm going for my PhD at the Monash University. I'm quite sociable and easy going. I love sports, especially volley and beachvolleyball. :)
Hey! I'm Amy, I'm a full-time PhD student with a stable income based at Monash Medical Centre and the Alfred looking for a new housemate/friend! I'm originally from Gippsland but I've lived in Melbourne for the past 3 years. I am a friendly, reliable, tidy and easy going person who likes a good chat but I also like my own space sometimes. On weekends I like socialising/chilling, having a drink or two, listening to music, eating out or just relaxing with Netflix. Would like to be close to public transport and access to unlimited street parking. Don't have any pets but I wouldn't object if you have one ;) Looking for somewhere to live in early-mid April but available to move in ASAP. Hope to hear from you! Thanks, Amy
I'm an open-minded and social medical who gets along easily with all kinds of people. I will be in Australia to do a short exchange and am looking forward to exploring what the city has to offer. I do enjoy hanging out but I also do appreciate the importance of personal space. I am an expert in rice cooker meals, I know this isn't much to offer but at least I am clean :)
self-professed nerd and lover of all things electronics who also works full-time as an Engineer and happens to refer to himself in third person in awkward self intros....I could go on about my many fascinating qualities to show that I'm the best roommate but here's the important bit, I'm an easy going quite dude ,I clean up after using common areas and like to keep things tidy and most importantly I pay my bills on time. Contact me if you are interested. Live long and prosper :)
Greetings! We are not smoking couple. We do not drink alcohol (at all). We do not follow any religious or spiritual rituals and habits. We do not have children. We have no pets with us. We are definitely not party people. We have passion and enthusiasm to live in, study and explore your beautiful city and country! Anna is a massage therapist and nurse. Her specialization includes infant and women massage. Rodion is an experienced professional worker (geophysicist and programmer). He is going to study in Monash University, Caulfield campus (postgraduate course in IT faculty) for two years. Therefore, we are interested to find a place for a long staying (from six months up to two years). Now we are living in Melbourne in temporary accommodation and we are ready to move as soon as possible. So, do not hesitate, just send us a message with your offer and email or an actual phone number (better). Internet access (Ethernet/ Wi-Fi) in your property is very much preferable. We do not need cable TV, parking lot, magic wand or anything else unimportant for us (sorry). We are ready to use bathroom shared with some other people (1–2 flatmates), but not with a crowd. It should be somehow possible to keep the room cool in summer and warm in winter (within reason). All furnished rooms distinctively will have a priority, but we are open for unfurnished offers too. We are keen on sport and outdoor activities, especially cycling, swimming, ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, badminton, hiking and camping. If you have bicycles, we are ready to rent them too :) As we have our own property in home country and we are leasing it out now, we certainly share your possible worries about cleanliness and order in your apartment. We assure you that we able to maintain the initial flawless conditions of your property which you are going to demonstrate us not only in set of pictures, but during inspection too. We prefer to live in a peaceful environment and are looking for a place without frequent parties or noisy events. Many kinds of accommodation might be considered (except vehicles and seagoing vessels). Feel free to contact if you have any offers! See you soon and good luck!
Hi! I'm Georgie and I'm looking for a place from the end of Feburary for at least six months as I'm studying my last semester at Monash, and if all goes well I'm looking to stay longer term. I'm looking for something in with a decent connection to Monash Caulfield or Clayton that's also close to a train station or tram line so I can get into the city where I'll be interning. I don't mind whether the room is furnished or not. Ideally I'd love a social houseshare with clean, chilled housemates that hang together occasionally. However I'm also happy with a nice place with nice people that like their space. My max rent is 750 per month. About me, I'm studying International Relations and Spanish. I love to travel and just got back from a semester abroad in Spain. I love music and I play guitar and I love anything to do with nature: camping, hiking, climbing... Let me know if you have a place that suits or are also looking Georgie :)
Originally from Vietnam, I'm coming to Monash to hopefully learn to become an aspiring English teacher. Being an overseas student automatically turns me in to an out-going person and adaptive, plus I cook great Vietnamese food too!
I always have a positive attitude to washing dishes, enjoy gaming (PC RTS, MMO) and having a cold one with the boys while laughing about the occasional meme. All jokes aside, I’m a respectable person, love a good laugh, fairly laid back and honest. Always pay on time and help where I can. I would like housemates that were also... actually mates. It’s nice to spend some time with the ones you live with, love being social but also respect the privacy of others!
