Moving to Sydney from Canberra, starting a new job at St. Leonards by September. I might look for something relatively permanent, but short-term stays are fine too. I'm looking to adopt a (relatively) minimalist lifestyle as I make the move so staying neat and clean should be with less effort. I can be relied on keeping the rest of the flat/house clean as well. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer meeting my friends outside rather than do house parties. In my spare time I usually try to be active - I'm looking into joining a badminton club and possibly have an indoor road cycling setup with Zwift (not brave enough to ride on Sydney's roads lol). I'm also keen to learn new sports/activities and join any after hours/weekend clubs. I also game on PC a little bit and a huge fan of the NBA. I'm still learning how to cook more food, but am keen to share whenever I make something nice. I'm pretty social and keen to meet new people, so I'd be down for a few drinks (in a relaxed environment) once in a while to unwind.
Lovely light room with built-ins and ensuite as well as your very own living area in large house with two flatmates(we are not a couple). Pets OK within reason. Ten minutes’ walk from train station and shops/supermarket, we are in a leafy green part of Hurlstone Park in a very quiet street. Lovely garden area and a few separate outdoors areas to spread out in. About us; We are a male and a female, both over 35 with our own busy lives and although like to entertain every now and again, it’s by no means a party house. We clean up after ourselves in common areas and are respectful of other tenants. We definitely don’t live in each other’s pockets. We each have our own bedroom/bathroom/living area arrangements as well. About you; you are more mature and looking for a relaxed environment. . We would prefer a female. Specifics: $295 per week, paid fortnightly. Share of electricity, water and internet.

Hey there, I work in film and am looking for somewhere relatively quiet to relax when I'm not on set or making stuff. I don't smoke or drink, love pets (would really love to have one again!), am pretty tidy, and largely keep to myself, so hopefully that gels with you. :) Looking forward to finding somewhere a bit more permanent and less student-y to live now I'm moving towards working full time.
A modern, sun lit and newly renovated duplex in Hurlstone Park. The duplex features 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are already occupied. The kitchen comes fully equipped with microwave, fridge and freezer and there is an included laundry room with a washing machine. The community is friendly with young couples and other flatmates living in the other apartments. The place has 1 and a half bathrooms- the toilet is separate. There is parking on the street out front of the unit.
Hi, my name is Tiffany and I'm an occupational therapist working full-time, hoping to find a new place to call home. I'm very independent and mature, as I've lived out of home for 8 years now. I'm generally pretty busy with work, socialising, and exploring the outdoors. I'm sociable, love company, and really easy to get along with. However, I also love my quiet down time once in a while. I'm clean, tidy, respectful and cooperative, and have a good balance between social time and quiet time. I'm currently living in the inner-west and I'm hoping to stay in this area. Please don't hesitate to contact me :)

Our place is a fully furnished two bed, one bathroom in a quiet street in the inner west of Sydney. The room for rent is a decent size and includes a brand new double bed with mattress. We're close to a few little convenience stores and a strip of cafés, but better than that we're only about 250 metres from the train station and an easy 25 minute trip to the city! The apartment is on level 2 (accessible by stairs) and looks out to the street, but is set back so street noise is minimal and you can leave windows open for pretty good flow-through breeze. We face north and with the blinds open, get great sunlight without the shock of direct sun first thing in the morning! The living areas have been recently renovated and it's a cute, comfortable little space that we love coming home to. The apartment has an indoor laundry and there is also a car space at the back of the block shaded by trees.

I'm considerate of those I share a space with, and expect the same in return. My bills are paid on time as well as doing my share to keep the place clean and tidy. My thoughts are that communication is the key to shared living. I have an active life outside the house however there is nothing better than to have quiet times at home.

It is close to public transport and in an actual house with a back yard! There's two toilets and all common area's are fully furnished. We are a couple looking to rent out to one other person so we can keep a spare room which you will have full access to as well, it can be used as a study or second loungeroom. We have an elderly cat who is amazing (albeit anti social with other animals so another house animal isn't an option) and we both work fairly long hours so we're out of the house most of the time. There's gas cooking, a bbq, free on street parking and a laundry with washing machine.

I'm 31, full time working professional, and have house shared for many years. I am mature, easy going, and honest. I am respectful and will treat your home like it's my own. Happy to take turns cleaning regularly. I enjoy cooking, playing football, boxing, relaxing at the beach, Campos coffee, meditation and exploring this beautiful country. Weekdays are pretty low key between work and the gym. Over the weekends, I'm out and about during the day catching up with friends. I'm a homebody and prefer to relax at home in the evenings. I can sell my furniture if your apartment is furnished: bed, front loader washing machine, tv, entertainment unit, and kitchen equipment.
Hey! I'm a fully trained housemate (been living out of home for 10+ years) looking for a new place to call home. I work full time in the city in operations for an e-commerce business. I'm a huge wine and cheese fan and enjoy a post weekend debrief with my housemates. I do however also enjoy solo time, especially after a long day at work. My weekends are spent out with friends, at the pub, or watching some sort of sport. I do love to cook, and can make a pretty good pavolva if you're a fan. Fresh flowers, coffee table books, and good linen make me happy. I like a clean & tidy house but you're free to have your spaces however works for you. I'm currently living in a studio in Petersham but am looking to move into a larger property with a backyard or patio. Please note I'm not currently interested in moving into another apartment. I have a full house (studio) of furniture I love but of course happy to look at storing things if needed for the right place.
I am a very friendly, trustful and peaceful person and these are very important for me. I love to share a good and healthy meal having a great conversation. I like dance, books, calm musics and outdoors activities such as bush walk. I am clean and organised.

Hi, I am Sachit, I currently work and live in Adelaide. I will be moving to Sydney mid November to work as a Civil & Structural Engineer at an engineering design firm called Arup. After work I enjoy playing soccer and usually try and get to the gym. I also play the violine (Although I might be a bit rusty as its been a while since I last played at a social event). Nothing beats a good Louis Theroux and/or David Attenborough documentary! Also a fan of The Office (uk), Peep Show and The Inbetweeners. I enjoy a few drinks on the weekend and look froward to exploring parts of Sydney and its surroundings. Should you have any questions shoot me a message! Hope to hear back regarding accommodation (The suburbs listed in the profile are just some of the places that seemed close to where I'd like to live but anywhere else within a 40min bus/train ride from the CBD would be fine!) Cheers, Sachit

My name is Marianne and I'm looking for a house/townhouse that is Pet Friendly. I work full time at UNSW in Kensington. I'm looking for flatmate/s to get a house together anywhere Eastern suburbs, or inner west. Currently rooming in Coogee in an apartment but looking to team up and find a pet friendly house/townhouse preferably with a backyard so that my hound Otis can come move back with me to Sydney (currently on extended holiday with parents). I'm a pretty laid back person. I love music, food, BBQs, hanging out with mates, the beach, movies. I'd love to have flatmates who like the odd social gathering at home, but just as open to quiet nights in. I'm also looking for flatmates who are cool with an inside dog. Otis is a 4 year old British Bulldog. He's pretty active, loves his walks and playtime and cuddles, but he's definitely in your face so whoever I team up with needs to love dogs. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, hit me up and we can chat further. Marianne
I work in research support in a local university and I'm looking for a short-term stay (12 Nov - 23 Dec 2017). I'm very outgoing, considerate and friendly. I enjoy my job because I work with researchers and academics and it's an absolutely interesting and eye-opening environment to be in. At home, I'm very neat, tidy and clean. I clean up immediately after cooking, and clean the house and bathroom every weekend. I teach English as a second language on the side. I also love languages. I speak Bahasa Indonesia, French, Mandarin and Welsh. I absolutely love cats! In my pastime, I play music and read.

Hi I'm ideally looking for a housemate to join me on a new lease somewhere in the inner west (Marrickville/Dulwich Hill/Summer Hill/Petersham area) --must be non-smoker/no drugs-- Queer/queer adjacent preferred I'm non binary queer and poly. Trying to make it as an actor/performance maker - bonus if youre into that bc ill drag you to lots of plays. I have a car, depression and three jobs so I probably won't be around the house much and when I am I'll be in my room probably. I'm happy to socialise and hang -love some games and social drinking. I'm not the cleanest but I'm not a slob. Washing up is irregular but I won't leave food mess or anything gross out. I do and will clean but I'm being open that it's not as often as it should be sometimes. I also have two fish called Sybil and Shark and my favourite movie is Jurassic park. Feel free to message me
