I work in the video game biz so if you're into gaming then you might fit right in. We have 100Mbit Fibre NBN! it's on the fastest tier possible ... unlimited netflix! The roomis becoming vacating in the next couple of weeks. Exact date is still to be confirmed. There's a total of 5 'rooms' in the property for residents - 3 are outside separate studio type rooms and the other 2 are inside rooms. 4 are currently tenanted, and 1 is now available. This listing is for one of the outside studio's which is a self contained room with aircon, fridge, bed, cupboard, side draw and a small table. Furniture can be negotiated if not needed. This is for the studio with the double glass doors, it's a nice secluded little area. All bills are included however except for you electricity usage as we have an electricity meter on each room so you pay for the usage in the room at a rate of 0.38c/KWh. We have a couple of BBQ's, kitchen, laundry and all that is setup ready to go. There is a nice big backyard that is somewhat neglected, although we're growing some rosemary and chilli's at the moment, would love to get some garden happening. We are very convenient to Mawson Lakes, I ride in from there on my bicycle and it takes about 10 minutes. We are friendly people and although we accept and get along with everyone.... we are after drug free person to share our home with. We are not heavy drinkers and although moderate drinking is welcome no excess drinking on the property is tolerated. I'd like everyone in the home to feel safe and happy. Location and Transport The suburb boarders Modbury North and is less than 5kms to Mawson Lakes. It is easy to catch a very short bus ride to ingle farm and then a bus that drops you off at the Uni at Mawson Lakes. The house is central to three shopping centers: Tea Tree Plaza, Golden Grove and Ingle Farm. Several buses are readily asses sable and are caught around the corner within 100m from the house. There is off road parking for those with a car. What's Covered for $165/week. Utilities are included: Electricity, gas, water, unlimited wireless NBN complete optical fiber internet (as opposed to the cheaper NBN with the cooper to the door) Netflix and fetch TV. There are not extra bills to pay. The Room The room is comfortable. Furniture is optional. The rooms have an evaporative cooling duct, a fan and key lockable door. Cleaning Everyone has a designated job that takes roughly one hour a week. In addition to this everyone has a daily job like sweep the kitchen floor. For those that do not want to clean this can be done on your behalf for $25 extra per week. Option to Work The option to work for extra cash is available to tenants in the smaller room. $15 per hour is paid. Jobs may included cleaning, gardening, handy work, cleaning pet cages and more. The House The house has been renovated recently and is comfortable with new modern appliances. Hello, Originally I had signed up to this website to find a roommate interested in living around Andrews Farm. I am now desperate to find a residence as close as possible to Modbury Hospital. My father has recently become critically ill and will be transferring to that facility on March 28th. He will be staying at the hospital for specialist care and rehabilitation for the next few months and I am wanting to find somewhere close by, so my family and I can spend as much time as possible with him. I am hoping to find somewhere appropriate as soon as possible that is a short distance away, within budget and available for a short term lease. This would be a huge relief for my family as our home is quite a distance away from where he will be. I am also applying through real estate agents, I would just like to exhaust every option available. About myself: I am currently studying full time in the CBD. I have two small pets, Lucy and Cleo. They are very well behaved and trained. I enjoy gardening and growing my own organic produce, bike riding, ice skating and general outdoor activities. I love to cook, I watch endless ammounts of Netflix and love to sing and play musical instruments (currently learning piano). I have previously lived out of home, I have good references and evidence that I always pay my rent on time. I take pride in my home, the way it looks and feels is a huge priority to me. I may be open to a team up but you need to be ready to apply for properties now and have the credentials to do so. My ideal housemate would have a good sense of humor, be financially stable, love dogs, like there own space but enjoy company at times, be clean, respectful & trustworthy.
