I am a quiet and kind person, who keeps to himself and gives others plenty of space. I work in the IT industry and am currently studying software engineering. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, coding and listening to music. My ideal housemate would be someone who does not smoke or do drugs and is respectful of boundaries.
Hi! I'm a new grad RN working at Canberra Hospital in August. I'll be doing shift work (AM, PM, nights) so I'll be seeing you at odd hours of the day. I'm laidback, tidy, and happy to chill out and binge on Netflix. I'm happy to make new friends and also understand the need for self-chill time. I am also looking for a place that's open for my partner to visit until Christmas as he lives up in QLD. Feel free to message me any questions!
I am a health professional currently looking for a property and a suitable housemate to share within close proximity to the Canberra Hopital. I am quiet, clean, friendly and hope to share with someone who is similar. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym and enjoying the simple things in life. Ideally looking for a place to live I can call home and feel safe and secure.
I work full-time for a construction company and i'm also studying a bachelor of construction management full-time at UC. I play touch and soccer 2 nights a week. I spend a lot of time at the coast on weekends during summer and a lot of time at the snow on weekends during winter. I don't have any pets but I love animals so I would be happy to move in to a place with pets. I also like to keep a relatively clean house. I'm hoping to move in somewhere before Christmas, but I can push it back to early January if needs be.
I have a lovely fully furnished home with everything available, including plenty of storage and all the conveniences a person may require. The house is extremely large and has lovely gardens in the front and rear of the property. Easy walk to Farrer local shops and Southlands. Bike path and bus service to Woden and city is 2 minutes away. Seeking someone that is wanting a peaceful place to live.
This is a unique property set within an expansive garden environment. The two storey European style home is very large and comes with fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, lounge and TV entertainment room. Two large verandas and separate washing area. Plenty of storage. Off street secured parking is an option but the property is well located to buses, neighbourhood shops and the Southlands shopping centre. Local parks, cycle ways and the expansive Farrer Ridge are all very close by. The house has ducted gas heating, open fire place in winter and is cool is summer given it is double brick and shaded by large trees. NBN connected. Vegetable gardens and chickens are part of the package. The house is more of a home and neighbours and existing housemates are all very lovely and interesting people. Not a party house.
I am searching for a room to let. I am a 37 year old male from England. A pet less adaptable nonsmoker who enjoys clean, tidy and peaceful living. My hobbies include cooking and cleaning. Just landed a new job in the area. #Capricorn##INTJ##youngest sibling# Cheers Ben
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly and quiet housemate, as I'm looking to move around October-November this year. I would prefer to pay between $150-220 per week, and live in either Woden Valley, the inner south or inner north area. I would also be open to living somewhere in Queanbeyan region for a one bedroom rental in my price range. I am looking for a place that has air conditioning for the summer. I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans/ace friendly. I'd like to live with other LGBT-friendly and open-minded people. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm a bit of a night owl as well. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
Teacher. Happy to have a chat but also respect privacy. Quiet and clean. Always pay rent on time.

Hey! My name is Pat and I’m 19. I currently work full time in Sydney and will be moving to the ACT over Christmas to start at a new branch of my work! I ride/race enduro mountain bikes so I train a lot, ride most afternoons and take pride in keeping my possessions clean and tidy. I also live with the basics. My bikes stay in my van or at work and I’ll probably be moving down initially with a suitcase! Anyway please don’t hesitate to message me with what you have to offer! I’m definitely in need of something!
Christy and I are early healthcare professionals finally starting our career! We are keen to get started in Canberra come 2019 and finally make a difference. We are looking for another housemate(s) and separate rooms. Both of us are clean and laidback but are always up for dinner or a conversation! With that being said, we do respect the privacy of others as we like our own time to ourselves as well. We are not a couple but friends from Sydney. We met each other while we were studying at the Unversity of Sydney. Our budget is 250/week each and hope that we can find somewhere conveniently located near Westfield Woden and Canberra Hospital.
Originally used as an Embassy, this elegant house has been furnished and re-purposed to provide a "home away from home" for people coming to Canberra for work, as it's a challenge to find affordable accommodation when you first arrive. While it retains the timeless elegance of marble stairs, crystal chandeliers and French doors to the balcony, the house has been refurbished to a high standard and offers comfortable accommodation in lockable single rooms which share bathrooms but have own toilets, or couples suites with own bathroom. The communal kitchen and dining areas are spacious and well equipped with appliances, crockery and all cutlery. You can relax in the beautiful upstairs lounge, watch television or a DVD movie.. Or step out to the covered balcony with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over Woden.
Room recently vacated and looking for a new housemate ASAP, up for rent is a bedroom in a 3 bedroom house sharing with one other. There's off street parking at the rear of the house for up to two vehicles if needed. This is not covered parking though. The place is situated near to a bus stop on the express route from Tuggeranong to Civic. Super convenient for parking-free commuting in either direction. Medium-sized house to share with only one other, so plenty of space. Big backyard that isn't dog safe unfortunately. The two accommodated bedrooms don't share a common wall which gives some sound buffering for privacy. Good sized lounge room with comfy lounge, big TV and gaming console. Reverse cycle air-con in the main living areas. Shared bathroom with a bath/ shower and toilet-room (WC) is separate. I'm quite clean and I'd expect you to be the same. The neighbours are all professional and quiet at night. Internet is NBN and currently connected, gas cooking and infinite hot water. I look after the yard, so no effort needed there. Room is available straight away and looking for the right person to move in ASAP. I've lived here for seven years and currently off lease. Have been paying week to week for about 6 years. On very good terms with the owner. Possible tenancy length is unknown at this point, but definitely 4 months plus, likely longer with possibility of taking over the lease. I'm looking to vacate at some point through next year, but date is undecided. House is well furnished, but room is not. Can organise furnishings for the right tenant if needed. I have a sizeable collection of houseplants (not shown in pics) and the place is like a mini jungle, nice to be around. The common areas differ from the photos due to them being taken 8 months ago. The third bedroom space is being used for storage, so room for overflow of your belongings, or to spread out a bit.
