Property is cool in summer and warm in winter. Owner is contemplating installing solar panels and internal fans.
I am pretty easy going, I moved to Canberra in 2011 for Uni and just haven't left. I enjoy time to myself but I love a group dinner and good conversation. I do currently have a pet Guinea pig, he doesn't take up much space and at the moment lives in an indoor appropriate cage on a covered deck. My partner and I don't live together although he stays overnight a few times a week, we're both fairly quiet people and always respectful of other peoples space. I'm looking for somewhere to rent until at least late August when I'm hoping to move overseas to study.
I am super bubbly, tidy, down to chat and love animals. Also work full time so won't be too much of a hassle around the house a lot.
I’m 29, work in comms in the public service in the city, grown up in Canberra for most of my life, but recently moved back from a 4-year stint in Sydney! Love being active and getting to the gym after work and i do a dance class once a week. I tend to stay in during the week and try and chill/do a few social things on the weekend. I consider myself pretty chilled, love food/cooking and cooking for others, trying new recipes. I don’t have any intolerances except dairy (although I tend to indulge sometimes with cheese lol) and I like being clean and tidy to a reasonable extent! Ie I don’t like living in filth but I’m not OCD :) I have a tv and an Apple TV as well as some shelves, but also happy to buy some furniture if need be. Flexible with move dates :)
I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs.
My name is James, 27 year old high school teacher recently moved to Canberra for work and looking for a shared house. I'm a friendly, easy going guy and would like to live in a clean, respectful house with young professionals.
Hello! I am a recent high school graduate and have just moved to Canberra from Sydney to work here as an Apprentice in the public service for IT. I am of South Korean background and moved to Australia when i was younger. Currently I am staying with my sister while I find a place to move out to. I am very self aware and i actually enjoy cleaning up after self. I also enjoy company and definitely look forward to meeting new people and spending time together but i also understand and appreciate the need for privacy and time alone.
Postgraduate student doing environmental studies in ANU but also working part-time in retail at Woden Westfield. Easygoing and super friendly. Open-minded and respectful person. Fascinate about trying new things and experiencing adventures of life. Love all kinds of outdoor activities but also a fan of movies and TV series. Current housemates accredited ideal housemate type. Searching for good homes to move in sooner or later before May 2018. I have a car and a bike, so parking availability is essential.
I’m a single mum friendly, clean, tidy, well behaved , hard working, collaborative and know how to use common sense. I have an adorable 2yo daughter so well behaved ( she’s a bless). We moved to Canberra from Brisbane cause I got a job in the Venezuelan embassy. I don’t know many people here so that’s is part of the reason why I’m looking for a share home preferably with another girl.
Hey! I am a young health professional working full time Monday to Friday. I have lived in Canberra for four years. I enjoy some quiet time alone but also love a good chat, glass of wine/beer or cup of tea as well as an adventure. I enjoy keeping active and playing sport, as well as going out for brunch or dinner on the weekend. Ideally, I would like to be able to find an unfurnished room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I am also open to teaming up with someone to find a new home! I am clean, tidy and respectful of others.
Hi potential housemate! I'm James and in 26 years old! I’m moving to Canberra from Melbourne after been relocated for work! Looking for a friendly clean and modern place in or around Canberra. My job is based in Woden but will be working all over Canberra so not too fussed where. I live a busy lifestyle and sometimes work long hours, i also travel sometimes for work. while at home, i am generally pretty quiet, keep to myself watch sport and Netflix but don't mind the occasional chat or drink either. Weekends are varied but i do always keep myself busy! An ideal housemate would be someone with equal values. Ive lived with Boys and Girls in the past and haven't had an issue with either.
I'm an active and fun-loving PhD grad who's starting a full-time job in April. Easygoing, clean, and am often away on weekends. Won't hog the tv.
The property part of a complex. The property is fully furnished in the living areas, however this is flexible of you have furniture you would like to bring. Mawson shops are a walk down the road. Close to buses and the hospital, Woden and 15min drive to the city. The place has aircon ect and the bedrooms are large.
In addition to the bedroom and included in the rent is the dining-room space of the house to use for whatever you would like; office, studio etc. Both rooms are currently unfurnished. There's off street parking at the rear of the house for up to two vehicles if needed. This is not covered parking though, The place is situated near to a bus stop on the express route from Tuggeranong to Civic. Super convenient for parking-free commuting in either direction. Medium-sized house to share with only one other, so plenty of space. Big backyard that isn't dog safe unfortunately. I think the landlord is ok with cats, and I love cats, but I'd have to double-check :) The two bedrooms don't share a common wall which gives some sound buffering for privacy. Good sized lounge room with comfy lounge, big TV and gaming consoles. Reverse cycle air-con in the main living areas. Shared bathroom with a bath/ shower and toilet-room (WC) is separate. The neighbours are all professional and quiet at night. Internet is NBN and currently connected, gas cooking and infinite hot water. I look after the yard, so no effort needed there. Room is available straight away and looking for the right person to move in ASAP.

This property is a beautifully appointed yet quiet place to come home to after a busy day. You will enjoy the elegant surroundings and sunny ambience in the sun-room and study.
