Hi my name is Emily and I am 25 years old. I am currently in the process of relocating to Melbourne from the far south coast of NSW. I'm hoping this move will open up some great job opportunities as I have recently graduated from uni and am looking to kick start my teaching career. At the moment I'm staying with my boyfriends parents but I'm hoping to find a room to rent for a few months until I can get myself set up with work/living routine. I'm a pretty open and friendly person. Definitely up for socialising and making friends with new people but also completely respectful of the need for privacy/ down time. I'm neat, tidy and organised so no need to worry about mess - more than happy to help out around the house. Ideally I'd like to spend the next few months working, saving money, making friends and getting used to Melbourne life. I will be starting a full time teaching position on the 17th of July. Hoping to find somewhere to stay for the next 3 months only - planning to move out with my boyfriend after that.
Im a qualified landscaper and from melbourne. Im very social and quite easy to live with but like anyone i keep to myself at times. i love meeting new people and always make an effort to get along with everyone. I dont really like conflict and i believe compromising is the ticket to sharehouse success. I like to help anyone when i can so asking me for a favour is more than ok. I like to keep things neat and tidy but im no clean freak mopping floors every 30min. I like to keep busy so handyman jobs are my go to at home, especially outside. I enjoy socialising, travelling, camping, skiing, anything sport related, keeping fit, hitting the local for a few drinks. I own a 3y/o german shephard who loves company of others, very friendly, chases flies all day and well trained.
I work as a courier for a food company, I am 30 years old from Egypt, I have been in Australia for 10 years. I like to cook, love to play cards and board games, watch movies. I am a fun loving guy, really easy going! I like the house to be clean and neat, so therefore I take responsibility to clean after myself.
I work 2 jobs and sew showgirl costumes in my spare time. I'm a very private person and only have a few people that would know where I live. I have a beautiful 3 year old dog who spends her days outside sleeping and is in my bed at night. She is super friendly and the closest she has come to a fight was when a Labrador bit her and she cried on my lap. I'm looking to team up and find a great house with other female/ females who are likeminded and employed. (I have had issues in the past with housemates struggling with rent who weren't working). I have enough furniture to fill a large home including all white goods, pool table, all lounge and dining furniture. I am looking for a master bedroom with ensuite as I spend many hours a week doing my makeup and hair for photo shoots and my second job and need to keep everything set up in a particular way to make my time more efficient. I smoke outside and clean up after my dog every week
Hey! So I'm Lili, studying and working part time, I consider myself a little more introverted when I don't know people, but certainly come out of my shell once I get to know people. I'm super considerate and pretty quiet most of the time, love to have a bit of fun as well, and really just want to move out and get to know some awesome new people!
Myself & my wife both are Australian Permanent Residents, overseas nowadays but coming to Melbourne on 5th July early morning. I am Computer Engineer by profession & my wife is an MBA finance, we both are well-mannered & civilized persons, respect others' privacy, don't have any kids or pets & we both don't smoke/drink. We are looking for some studio/granny flat/1 br or even some shared accommodation with a private room with double-bed and private bathroom in Melbourne and ideally close to Melbourne CBD. Initially we'll need the property for at least 1 to 2 months and after then we may extend our stay and sign a lease of 6 months or more. Waiting for some kind and positive responses ASAP.
I am easy to get a long with, I am a clean and tidy person who respects others. I generally like to practice yoga, spend time at the beach, hang out with family and friends. I live a fairly quiet life, I love being with community but also need my own space to reflect and unwind. I work full time as an Admin/Warehouse Manager. I have been told that I spread a lot of joy and am a caring person. I have a 10 year old staffy which I'd like to bring with me.
Jacqui - I'm a quite homebody. I work as a cleaner and I'm studying Early Childhood Education and Care. I like to cook, read, knit, and binge netflix. Ruby - I like chicken nuggets. Chicken nuggets are life. I work. I eat. I sleep. We're looking to start our own property with a third female housemate. We both like dogs, food, and netflix. Female only household.
Hi there my names Rob and im looking for a place to rent, im a 43 year gay guy who pretty much loves to have fun and be happy, im not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere which has a good atmosphere and great housemates. tbh id probably prefer gay females as housemates as ive found theyre the easiest to get along with and live with :)
Originally from QLD I have been living in VIC for 2.5 years. I work full-time in Broadmeadows for a telecom company working on the nbn project. I'm a homebody who prefers baking & cooking over going out on the town. I don't have a full house of furniture, just my bed. Would prefer a townhouse with a bit of a yard, for either 6, 9 or 12 months.

Very friendly and respectful couple, we enjoy communicating with people and having a good time but we also want privacy as well. We are easy to get along with. Working part - time and studying full time during the week.
I am a singer-songwriter from Melbourne that just loves to chill out and take life as it comes. I also work as a forklift driver during the day - and then by night I am usually out gigging/in the studio or working on new projects within music. or am at home chilling out. I am clean, genuine and have a loving nature that shows through my attitude and motivation/ethic. My busy schedule ensures you will have a lot of privacy and when I am home, we will always have something to talk about and do. I enjoy living in a place where we are all friends, and occasionally hangout for movie nights etc.. and have relationships with each other that only we can understand because its the "housemate connection" as i like to call it hahaha, but yeah. I'm quite experienced in shared housing and I'm looking forward to my next adventure. Will you be apart of it ?
I am a Masters student at RMIT , originally from sri lanka. Working part time. Own a car. Sometimes i work late night shifts. Love pets but i dont have any in Australia. Socially dirks and smokes.
I'm a software engineer working for a software company at Collins Street (CBD), I want a private room anywhere near the public transportation. I like the quietness so I prefer to live in a quiet place.
Hello, just arrived to melbourne on the 12/06/2017 and looking to do a bakers course which should start on the 24th if I'm accepted. Currently happy where I am living, but it's too darn far!! I don't have a time frame of when I need to move out, but if I get the go ahead with course I would ideally like to move in sooner than later, because it takes me over an hour by train to get to the city! I'm pretty quiet, I chill in my room a lot on the computer and give people their personal space. I'm friendly, but I prefer chilling in my room, so it will be like having the place to yourself! I haven't got a part time job yet because I've only arrived and want to move closer to civilisation he he he! Will try to find one that works long side my course, but just consider me a student for now. X
Hi I'm Nicola, I am a full-time worker who loves the simple things in life. I am looking for a housemate(s) who love dogs as I have a 9 year old greyhound who is very quiet and well trained, loves to sleep for 20 hours a day and is my world. When I'm not working, I like to head out and explore Melbourne and surrounding towns with Hugo (my dog). I am a very tidy and quiet person who likes to relax at night after my working day. I am in need of accommodation as early as possible and will be happy to provide references. Talk soon, Nicola
I am an 18 year old working almost everyday. I'm respectful and understanding of personal space, and will be doing my own thing most of the time. I'm really easy to get along with and love getting to know other people!
Hi, I'm 21 years old and I'm looking for elsewhere to stay at the moment. I'm a very tidy person who is very polite. I like to socialise and get to know people and am very friendly but I also understand the concept of personal space and won't be a nuisance. I'm currently studying at uni and am also doing almost full time hours as a manager at McDonalds.

Hi I'm Carla. I'm looking to share a house in Caroline Springs or surrounding as I have enrolled my Daughter in a school in Taylors Lakes and currently live in Caroline Springs. She lives with me 3 nights a week. It's very important to me that she is safe and if there are any other mothers out there or females who don't mind a little girl with a bit of sass around. I'd prefer she has her own room so I'm happy to rent 2 rooms or start up a new lease with somebody. I'm currently renting a triple story so I have lots of furniture and appliances and cookware and maybe more kitchen utensils than anyone actually needs haha To say that if you need anything I'm happy to bring it all with me or sell what ever I can't bring. My rental payments are always on time. I have no pets but would love a pet around if you have one. I should also mention that I work 4 - 5 days a week in St Kilda and when I don't have my daughter I sometimes drive Uber so I'm out a lot but I do love to come home and relax after a long day especially with the cold weather. If there's anything else you'd like to know please contact me. C.
