Hi, I am 62, but trying to be happy everyday. Looking for sunny room/house, in a house or studio flat or similar. I am retired but keep active and interested and looking forward to finding interesting places in Tassie, as I am planning to stay. I am clean, friendly and love a laugh. Very independent and love taking walks, movies, markets, cafe, watching some Netflix. Like to get outdoors most days and be happy to bake on occasions. Really would like a permanent rental if we are all happy. I have moved to Tassie to be near my daughter and grandchildren, at Bream Creek. Bit too far away from town for me, so would prefer this side of Hobart. I have my own furniture if needed, including kitchen pots and pans etc. So it is just me and really looking forward to hearing from you, if you would like to meet and have a coffee. Thanks
Three doors down from Susan's bay. 2 minute drive to surf beach. Neat and tidy 80's reno shack. Timber flooring in bedroom. Wood burner in lounge room. Outdoor undercover area. Verandah at front of house with filtered water views. Good sized double bedroom. Some storage and free standing small robe. Laundry and bathroom with seperate toilet to share.
Hi there, I have just arrived back to Melbourne after completing my Master's degree in Boston. I am originally from Melbourne, however, will be moving to Hobart in later June - early July to further pursue my education at UTas. I have been living in shared houses for the past 4 or 5 years now and love meeting new people, exploring nature, trying out new restaurants and bars. I am generally an outdoorsy person and am looking forward to exploring the beautiful island. I am extremely responsible, like to live in a neat and clean house and respect others privacy, although am always up for a friendly beer or meal together. Dhruv

I love a glass of wine and a chat so love to be social, but also love my own quiet time so would be happiest in a share house that isn't a party house. I'm from Newcastle originally and moved to Hobart 18 months ago and am absoultely loving all that Tassie has to offer. I love to hike of a weekend, and in the warmer months love heading to the beach.

Hi, We are in search of a like minded, optimistic, down to earth, clean and tidy, environmentally friendly female to live with us in our large sunny house on the eastern shore. The house is 10-15 mins from Hobart city/UTAS, and 15 mins from airport and Bellereive beach. Bus stops are a 5 minute walk up the road. An established veggie garden is booming with delicious freshness that we cannot possibly eat by ourselves! There is a large verandah with a bbq and an outdoor wood fired pizza oven for these summer days. Your room can be mostly furnished, and you will share a bathroom (with spa bath), and seperate toilet with one other. We are asking for $220 a week rent. Internet/water/gas/powers is included! 3 mnth stay is good for everyone to adjust and if everyone is happy we will go from there. Females preferred please. so if you like the sound of being our housemate, please give us a message or call to come and meet us! Avaliable Monday 1st June!
I am a friendly, clean and easy going 24yo female. I am a Brisbane-based dietitian who's moving to Hobart for work in 4 weeks time. I enjoy doing outdoor activities, if I am not out rock climbing, I am probably planning a weekend trip with friends somewhere where we can hike or have a swim at the beach. I recognise the need for everyone to have their own space and privacy however I am always up for a chat, a shared meal, a movie or a glass of wine.
Hi I am a creative arts professional working in festival producing, production and programming. I'm looking for a a lovely place to settle into long term with warm open-hearted people. I'm passionate about music, arts, literature and culture. I also love nature, hiking, camping and locally grown and sourced produce. You'll find me in the kitchen regularly as I love cooking, dinner parties and sharing wine with friends. I also have a black cat whose name is 'Squiggle' he is 10 years old - I treasure him as he has the most incredible chilled out and fun personality and loves cuddles, laps and pats. Looking for a place where we are both welcome!

I'm currently living in Lindisfarne. I hope the new place is cosy and clean. I would like to know new people to be friends with. Prefer to live with individuals, not couples. ^ ^

Hi! I'm Samuel-Kaye (all one word) but my friends call me Skippy.. :-) I'm a happy and easy going person moving to Tasmania for a new life away from the city. I'm looking for a friendly share house with housemates who are tidy, respectful and considerate. I like to be social with housemates but I also value my private time. I'm not a party animal and prefer to socialise away from the home. I'm a non smoker ( I vape though..) and I enjoy a quiet drink every now and then after a long day. My dog Mitch is very well behaved, he's 8 years old and mostly likes to sleep all day. He is very good at following instructions, doesn't chew, dig holes or pee on things. He's used to being outside during the day and sleeping on my bed at night. Both Mitch and I have great references and I consider us to be a pretty awesome housemates :-)
've just signed a lease for a 2 bedroom spacious apartment in Lindisfarne, it's at 5/76 East Derwent Highway so now i'm on the search for a housemate. The rent would be $250 (negotiable) a week bills, White goods are included. The Lease is for 6 months but it can easily be extended. Also there is Bond, its $1000 which ideally would be split. I take the place from somewhere between the 8th and 15th of June, this is depending on the landlords but exact date will be known shortly. i've said it's furnished in the ad but the bedroom is not furnished, this just means that i have couches, TV unit, rug and dining table so to avoid doubleing up i've said furnished. I work a Full Time Job so i'm after someone similar, but really i just need someone who can pay on time! Regarding bills the Landlord will cover some of the water cost (we pay anything over $80) plus I have unlimited internet that I will transfer to the new place. Carparking, there is one garage space, great for tools and 1 car, there is also a visitors car park and off street parking max of 50 metres down the road. also I have a car (so we'll fight to the death for the garage space haha) but also there is a bus stop 50 metres down the road to and the bus into the city is every 10 minutes! I've attached photos of the place, there are 2 bathrooms, massive plus! and the second bedroom easily fits a queen bed and desk, plus has built in cupboards.
