Looking for a room to rent, prefer own bathroom if possible. Needing to find a pet friendly place as I have a Labrador. Ideally like somewhere where we would feel comfortable and get along well with housemates and be able to be social but also enjoy and respect privacy. Prefer housemates similiar in age.
Hi I’m Haylee, I’m a full time employed professional in the health field looking for a neat and tidy house to rent for 6 months, possibly longer. I’m reliable and respectful, looking forward to getting to know my new house mates. I like my own space but equally happy to have a chat and share the odd meal together after work. Pets are fine :)
I have two rooms to let, and in the rooms there are double beds but I can take them out if you have your own. The rooms also have built in drawers. Both rooms are big enough for a double bed with space to move around. They're not huge, but pretty standard for this age of house. The house has two bathrooms, one joined to the master which is mine and the other is newly installed which is for the share rooms. The Kitchen is fully functional & all appliances work well. Public transport is available at the end of the street which is about a 2 minute walk.House is about 30 years old, brick & in a nice quiet street (dead end) with no through traffic. Lots of trees around, bush block over the road so no road noise at all. My block is big (about 850 sq/m) has a few tall gum trees on it. Big back yard. I have a dog who is nice & friendly. Inside, fully furnished house with two living areas - one informal lounge joined to the kitchen, separate dining room & adjoined to that is the bigger formal lounge.
Hi everyone, I have a room in a very comfortable and huge house. It is furnished with a desk, chair and single bed. There is a build in wardrobe and window overlooking the backyard. Lots of space, 2 living areas, dining area, backyard etc. The kitchen is also quite spacious and very well equipped with separate walk in pantry. We are two very neat and tidy professional females (29&32 years). We clean up after ourselves and expect you to do so too. There is also a shoes-off policy in the house so we can keep everything clean. You will partake in the share of cleaning etc. It's a quiet household of professionals. But we are happy to have a chat and watch a DVD now and then. Any questions please ask. :)
I work a lot mainly teaching balIet but also a few other jobs. I love to chat but if you need space that's also fine. I am clean and I like food. I'm open to most places. I mainly just need a room :)
Hi, I am a 25 year old guy originally from Norway. I moved to Australia 4 years ago for study, and I am moving to Melbourne to start my full time job as a Physiotherapist. I am easy going, social and clean. I keep the space around me tidy and love long chats over a coffee/beer/wine. My background as a Mechanic also means I am good with tools and handy for any minor repairs around the house or on the car. I am also a certified personal trainer, and love being at the gym or out exploring nature. Another hobby is nature photography, and I usually take my dog out to adventure to find more places to capture. I am currently looking for a temporary place for me and my dog to stay while I get settled in at work and find a more permanent living arrangement. A lease between 2-4 months would be perfect.
I’m 26 looking for a room with my dog willow. Im currently studying online and work part time as a nail technician from home. Both willow and I are neat, responsible and fun to live with! Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey there. I'm looking for a place to stay that is close to my workplace in Kilsyth. I have recently transferred here with work from Sydney. I'm up for a chat and a laugh but also like to have my "me time". I am pretty straight edge and like to do things like going out to watch bands , play sport, watch scary movies , get creative and also get out into nature. If you think that someone like me would work well in your home dynamic, I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello potential roomies. i am 28-29 yrs old I am Clean & tidy individual. I currently work Casually in Hospitality, events & as a crowd controller On the weekends so I hope any potential room mates aren't bothered by this as i'd probably be coming home late like after 1am. And do some voluntary work atm during the week rest assured i am no bludger and although i am struggling i will make every effort to find full time work or be a good roomy chore wise to earn my keep (one thing at a time) I don't drive atm but don't worry I am not asking anyone to be my uber taxi. With that said Though i am not one to refuse a lift if i find myself stuck outside transport hours getting home. (negotiable) What I am Looking for in a place: I do have some furniture but i don't have everything so if the room has a tall boy & built in robe, for storing my clothes & boxes of stuff (bonus.) i am an adult so large room needed I have some furniture at my parents place belonging to me such as bed, bookshelf, study desk, beside tables that will accompany me. Also Kitchen with basics to cook and eat with. i am happy to buy some crockery to have meals etc and if people want to do shared dinners i am willing to pitch my pot and buy ingredients and contribute to a meal. As i know living out of home is hard :X And bonus if Internet is available so I may B-Pay rent & all bills etc when due. (all this to be discussed of course as to a system of how bills are paid etc) Prefer to fit within my budget and for ALL bills to be covered in rent or some as we all know the struggles of renting and budgeting on low income. (again negotiable.) So if I sound like the flatmate 4 u message us. i am fairly new to the whole renting thingy so apologies if i have left things out i am sure you have questions about me so don't hesitate to contact me. What I am asking for in a roommate: Social- wants to get to know a bit about me the person living with them. i am shy but i like to try to be social and make friends where i can despite my age & difficulties but at the same time i respect peoples privacy but... if i am going to be living with you long term it be great if say example Tuesday is friends night and you guys are having a movie night if you don't mind me joining you or want to go out to a movie then extend an invite or if your someone who gyms or trivia & wants a partner count me in. Nice People smoking is fine although i don't smoke personally so not inside if you do. Casual drinker is fine. i enjoy a casual drink but i am not a heavy drinker. No drugs i don't want to be around this personally NO snoring (sorry but i value my sleep and if you snore we are not going to get along) My last flatmate sounded like a rusty chainsaw lol. and it kept me up at night to the point i could no long stand it that & the constant drinking and loud music too any more info please feel free to contact me. Will also consider team ups for a new rental if their are people male or female of same age bracket 20-30 3-4 people max including me . (i am nice i don't bite LOL) if you like superheroes & marvel we will get along fine i am sure.

This is a great opportunity for such an amazing house!! Not a pokey unit I am a 35 year old Aussie girl (Andrea) who works in hospitality. I'm a very easy going girl and easy to get along with. Emma works in hospitality and is 25 and awesome. We are looking for a female only. Someone sociable, easygoing and fun for the house anywhere between our ages. The room for rent is downstairs and the house is large which also makes for a great share house. Set on a massive block this house has a big backyard. Easiest way to contact me is through email or text as I can be working at anytime so send a few details about yourself and I will get back to you ASAP. Happy hunting :) We have a beautiful Bengal cat so we also need someone who likes animals :)
I could not pin down exactly why I'm good to live with yet I will say that every person I've ever lived with have all become friends and remained so long after the sharing of a home. - Brenden
Hi there, I am really chilled and like to keep to myself and do my own thing. Down for a chat from time to time but otherwise I live in peace. I am looking for people similar to share a place with cant deal with uptight rigid people or with too many rules. Let common sense prevail, I am an adult your an adult we now how to do the right thing? I work full time in wheelers hill Mon-Fri and I also have a labradoodle.
Hey there! Looking for some similar people to live with in a sharehouse. Don't mind if a join a hood or we start a new one in a new house. Preferably would like to live with 2-3 others to be able to afford a decent place but not drain the bank. I'm Extremely clean. Easy to live with. Responsible. Have a good renting record. Work multiple jobs to support a decent income. Love socialising, music, drinks and hanging out. I own/operate a music mixing and mastering business so I'd require a room to live in but also another room to work from. Ideally, I'd love to find a place which had a granny flat (separate room away from the house) where I could do my work. Hit us up if you're interested!
Hi, I’m Emily, currently working full time hours, across 2 jobs (including Saturdays and Sundays). I am returning to full time study in November, and looking for a place which provides stability, and where I am able to set up a small study space for myself. I love animals, so pets are not an issue for me! consider myself easy to get along with and enjoy Netflix and movie nights as much as I enjoy going out for a few drinks & dinner where I can! I am looking to move in with someone who is happy to have a chat and wind down after work, but who also understands I need my own personal space. I have been living out of home since January this year, so have a good grasp of Rent, Bills and looking after myself. I will be looking for a move date of around January/February next year!
I'm a single bloke in my 50's born in Melbourne with no dependents looking for some temporary accommodation between 1-6 months, although would consider longer. I am neat and tidy and happy to help out around the house. I work 2 days a week and am fairly active in the community. I like keeping active and happy to keep mostly to myself but also happy to engage in conversation. I'm not all that fussed about TV/movies or parties but happy to be sociable. My current accommodation is about to come to an end after almost 4 years and am now looking for some alternative accommodation.
I am currently in Sydney and moving to Melbourne.I am a clean tidy person and friendly.I am Buddhist but respect all religions.I like listning music, travelling and astronomy.I am looking to stay longer more than 6 months.
