This is a spacious 2 bedroom house with a small study. The house is roughly 2 km away from Melton station (4 min drive, 16 min walk) and the 459 bus stop is around the corner (220m away) that takes you to Woodgrove and the station. The pic attached of the bathroom is from the people who lived here before me. I have hardly any stuff in there. I have a very minimal amount of furniture in the house but have the basics such as a fridge, microwave, washing machine which will be shared. I have a couch although it is a bit old but am happy to share, or happy to move it into my room if you have your own furniture. Also means there is lots of space for your own furniture around the house. And, if your a coffee/hot choc person, I have a manual coffee machine that I can teach you to use as well! There is also a large backyard which has a built in BBQ, although I have no clue how to use it! I have a four year old dog named Milo, she is a mini foxie which is a small breed of dog and is desexed. She is mostly an inside dog but I will keep her out of common areas and only allow her in my room. I also have a cat who keeps to himself but loves cuddles too. Professional, Clean, Quite, Safe and very Reliable. Hi, I am looking for a place to call home for the long term. I have my family that live in Hillside and I need to stay close to them. I work late nights so I prefer a place that is quite during the day and everyone that lives there will respect others needs. I also run a Life Coaching business from home. I am more than happy to help out my fellow housemates if and when they need it. You will find that I clean my dishes right away, I am very friendly and sociable yet keep to myself often. I know how to get along in a team environment while communicating clearly to minimize miscommunications.

Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
I hope to find a place where the cost of bills, internet and rent total less than $250 a week. I'm not expecting to have to move till late October/November. I have lots of kitchen tools etc, a microwave and my own bedroom furniture which I want to keep, so no furnished room offers please. I do not wish to share a room with anyone either, sorry. I'm neat and prefer a clean house. Don't have a car, so would prefer to be close to a train stop. And I would like the use of a bath and washing machine. I'm very interested in crafts, and need space for both my study and this interest - promise not to spread myself around. I love to garden, bake, ride my bike and enjoy a glass of red from time to time. I am friendly, caring, respectful of others and their space and happy to make arrangements about food, chores etc. I love dogs, hate cats and won't stand reptiles. Happy to live with children. Next year is my last year of study for my P-12 teaching degree. I study at Vic Uni and can be at St Albans one day and Footscray the next. I also work full time in Melbourne's CBD. Happy to answer any questions.
I'm 19 yrs old originally from South Australia and am wanting to move over to Melbourne to start fresh, start studying full time at the start of next year and I'd like to find myself a part-time job once I'm back there.
