Looking for 3-6 month rent in shared housing close to the city
Hey there! My name is Steph, and I'm a full time Masters student, studying speech pathology at Flinders University. I enjoy cooking and baking, sewing, pottering around in the garden, watching TV, and exploring new places. I'm newish to Adelaide, so at least there's plenty for me to explore! I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a furnished house. I have a full set of bedroom furniture, a few small kitchen appliances, and I can also contribute a 50 TV (or if there's no space, I'm happy to rehome it). I'd like to live with 1-3 other people who are interested in hanging out together at home every now and then. I'll be out at uni or placement for full days pretty much every day of the week, so I'm not looking for a house that's party central, but I would love to hang out on a friday evening and catch up over a cheeky beverage.
Hi, I'm a 23 year old student currently in my masters. I'm undertaking placement in Adelaide. Incredibly easy going,

Quite working guy looking for a furnished room. * Quite room especially at night; * Closed to public transport & supermarket will be nice; * Parking space is a plus;
This is a two bedroom unit. Located in Unley Park, great place if you love getting out for a walk. Short walk to the bus/train stop to King William Street. This house has a decent size living space , air-conditioning and a kitchen with a grill and oven. For those we a green thumb, we have a large garden surrounding the place however, this is maintained by the owners of the property (if you aren't into gardening). The bedroom is unfurnished (happy to furnish the room for $10 a week as i don't own the place) however, has a built in wardrobe and a big window. Room is reasonable size and would easily fit a queen bed and desk. Photos don't do this place justice, the area is super quiet and relaxing. Rent is $122.50, with bills it is usually around $150 a week including internet.
We have been best friends for over ten years and are perfect housemates to live with. Very clean, great cooks, fun to be around and always up for games, movies and drinks. We have both studied and are now working full time around the city. We are heading to Europe for a few months and are looking to sort our living arrangements for when we return in mid-late October. We have plenty of furniture to fill an empty house, and would be happy either just in a two bedroom home by ourselves or teaming up with others to get a bigger place. Ideally somewhere near the train/tram line is handy, and hoping to live with other respectable, neat and social people too.
Couple looking for accommodation nearby CBD initially for 3 months, if job scene works out well, may extend the lease as required.
Very Tidy, Organised, friendly, easy to get along with. Independent, can cook clean, am not loud, Focussing mainly on Self developement and building my own business. I do not smoke, or drink often. Very sensible, will not make mess or damage anything, health and wealth conscious. never late to pay rent. Can fit well in any situation 😊
Hi, I am looking for share house or someone who may be interested in renting a 'new' 2 - 4 bed place with me. I like relaxing in a clean & tidy place, with mature easy going people, male or female. Any quiet area of Adelaide & reasonably close to shops & public transport . I have some furniture. A built in wardrobe in the bedroom would be good. I am friendly, clean, respectful of others and like to live a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately I can't live with cats or other animals inside the house and prefer no carpet though its ok in bedrooms. I rarely watch tv as have other things to occupy me. I'm quiet but also enjoy socialising. I'm a bookkeeper and studying and in the process of moving from Brisbane to Adelaide sometime after the end of 'May 2017'. I stay in Adelaide regularly though where I am is too far from the city. I'm looking forward to getting established in Adelaide.
Lovely character cottage located in a quite, tree lined street. Close to bus and train. Approx 3 minute walk to major bus routes on Goodwood Road. Modern renovated kitchen with dishwasher. Bathroom modern, laundry facilities include a washer and dryer. Seperate toilet. Comfortable lounge opens onto private side garden which includes large shade trees. Rear garden is also private with covered BBQ area. Property is fully fenced for privacy and security. The bedroom on offer is furnished with modern furniture which includes a single bed, desk, bedside table and built in wardrobe. Hey there, I am an incoming international PhD student from the Philippines. I am friendly and eager for chats when I'm not busy studying at home. I'm also neat with my things and can even cook for my flatmates occasionally! I'm quite adaptable, so please do hit me up and who knows you might find the perfect flatmate! :)

Hi There! I'm looking for a housemate (preferably long term) to team up and share a property. I would like to find a place in the Daw Park/Melrose Park area or neighbouring suburbs (I have a long list of suburbs; south, south west and south east of the city I'd be willing to live in), modern-ish, with 2 bathrooms, air con, low maintenance, preferably a dishwasher, preferably 2 living areas (or a spare bedroom). A house, or a town house, somewhere with at least a little space and privacy. Pet friendly because I have a cat. I would like to find somewhere asap, but am flexible with my time frame. I'm thinking somewhere around $400 to $530 ish (total). I've seen some nice places that fit all this coming up around ascot park, edwardstown, millswood, plympton type suburbs recently. I am late 30s. Pretty laid back. Quiet, honest, fair, nice, friendly, think i'm pretty funny - pretty sure I am, sociable but don't go out much anymore, don't like confrontation, don't like bossy people, don't like self-centred people. I work full time and I work hard so I can be quite lazy in my free time and spend a lot of it sleeping in and watching tv and movies, if not brunching with friends, so I don't want to share with you if you have a tendancy to be judgey. I'm very close to my family. I like things pretty clean and tidy and would like someone who will be on my same wave length and help me clean the place when we've decided it needs cleaning (or maybe we could splash out on a cleaner!). I don't expect you to be cheery all the time..... I'm not. I like going out for brunch and meals in general. I'm good at basic cooking. I like the outdoors. I like movies. I don't like excerise but I wish I did. I like road trips. I like music festivals (but the grown up kind). I don't garden, but I do like gardens, especially herbs. I love food and coffee and tend to go through phases of no will power when it comes to food, so again no judgement please. Looove music, but only the good music that I like. Sooo, I've been living by myself for the last however many years and so have all the required furniture, but you might too, so a place with a garage would be good so we can store the extra things we have. This, and my love of tv is why I'd like a place with a second living area or spare bedroom so we could both have our own space to do what we want without being stuck in our bedrooms. Although if you'd like to join me in whatever i'm watching, that would be nice. We don't have to become friends, but that would also be nice.... I would prefer a female, just because I can be pretty shy around strangers. If you're a guy and you think our personalities will work, I'd still be happy to meet with you. I take a little while to warm up and come out of my shell and be myself and then you'll probably wish I'd get back in my shell ;) I know I said I wouldn't judge........ but........ *not a smoker *Vego and vegan fine so long as you respect my love of meat. *need to be reliable about money. i.e. splitting and paying bills. If you agree with at least most of what I've said please contact me and we can arrange to meet. Cheers Margo :)
Recent country girl who moved to the city for new opportunities. Easy going, friendly, social and usually gets along with almost anyone. I spend my pleasure time working on my writing/blog, reading, learning guitar, sight seeing and hoping soon to get back into sport and fitness. I'm usually a rather quiet housemate, but definitely up for Netflix nights, social drinking and hanging out in general. My spaces are always well kept and I'm in no way lazy. Looking for housemates with similar qualities. I have two black cats, one male and one female (Alpha & Violet). Both are de-sexed, microchipped and fully house trained. Mainly outside cats, however are required to come inside at night. These will both be coming with me, so pets accepted is a must, sorry they are my babies ^.^ Feel free to message me at anytime if you have any questions or are interested in rooming with me!
25-year-old engineer currently working full time. Laid back and clean, looking for somewhere to live close to the city. Hobbies: Hiking, guitar, live music, running - long distance
This is a very comfortable fully furnished home. reverse cycle air-conditioning, lovely gardens with many spaces for entertaining or a quiet cuppa with a book. Fantastic kitchen with all mod cons and large shared living space opening to rear garden. The room has it's own modern bathroom. In a lovely quiet area, close to Unley Rd, just a 10 minute drive or 20 minutes on a bus to get to the city. Easy access about a 20 minute drive to Glenelg or the Adelaide Hills.
I am a full time student and spend most of my time studying, volunteering, or resting. I'm a respectful and friendly introvert; I will happily help around the house and chat over some food, but also respect and appreciate personal space. I'm comfortable living with either pets or no pets, and generally pretty easy going.
Hi! I'm Prashanth, a young professional making the move from Brisbane, where I've lived for the past 8 years, to Adelaide to start a new role. I'm a scientist by background and worked in research before making the move into newer territory with the aforementioned role. I love playing soccer and generally trying to keep fit but that competes with my general liking for nice coffees, good food and the occasional glass of wine or a craft beer. I also love going out to watch live music, quality films and sports. I also enjoy conversing about most things in the world. I'm well versed in the sharing game and have shared houses with all types of folks. I'm outgoing but understand the importance of personal space as well. I'm clean without being a clean freak and wash up after myself. I'm looking for a place in North Adelaide (mainly because of the convenient commute to my work) or its immediate surrounds. I'm moving at the end of the month from Brisbane and start my new job in the first week of July. Looking forward to chatting with you!
I'm very easy to get along with and like to interact with people. I am quite a social person as well, usually out on the weekend or visiting friends and family in Melbourne. I am financially stable. I work in the city and at Burnside so I'm not home a lot during the day and some weekends.
Hi! I'm Amy, a 19 year old Advanced Bachelor of Arts student, majoring in History and Sociology at Flinders University. I am very creative, active, and sociable. I've been training as an actor for the last 10 years, and intend to study an intensive acting degree after completing my Bachelors. I am a very considerate roommate, have great cooking and cleaning skills, and am very easy-going.
Hello, my name’s Erin. I’m a single, non-smoking, 26-year-old working full time in HR. Currently living alone in North Adelaide but my lease is ending in December and financially living alone is taking it’s toll so back to sharing I go at the end of the year. I’m a friendly and very clean housemate who is very considerate and respectful of others space. I would describe myself as a homebody who doesn’t really go out all that much but I do like a drink (hello Wino Wednesday’s watching The Bachelor). I spend most weekends either catching up with my fam when I can (have three gorgeous nieces), hanging out with friends, heading to gigs or binge-Netflixing. Not much of a cook unfortunately (packet pasta is life) but cleaning is where my strengths lie. I do have my own bedroom furniture and other bits and pieces (small couch, lounge chair, coffee table, bookshelf etc.) but happy to consider selling/putting in storage however would really prefer an unfurnished bedroom at least. I realise I’ve started my search quite early but I like to see what’s out there – plus I’m getting keen to move since I currently have no oven, no heating, no TV reception and a hot water service that lasts 5 minutes while paying through the teeth! Oh being an adult is such fun. This experience however has taught me to be super power conscious which I think is a positive and I am a house proud person so looking for someone likeminded. Ps. I have a dry sense of humour, a hideous laugh, sing in the shower and sometimes yell at the TV while watching Family Feud – these are definitely things to consider as a potential housemate haha. Anywho, that’s enough about me. Ask me any questions, or let me know about your place if you think I’d make a good fit. Looking for a place to call home and hopefully make a new friend :)
We have available one single bed fully furnished cozy sized room, can be inspected at anytime, we generally rent our rooms to female international students and employees. Services bills, Wi-fi, some consumables, and bedding blankets etc (if required) are included in the rent. The house is in Millswood, next to Goodwood, close to Goodwood Rd, 15-20 minutes by bus or train to the CBD, and close to the G10 and G40 bus routes that go to the "front door" of Flinders Uni, and close to the tram that goes to Glenelg (Adelaide's most popular beach and beach side shopping, entertainments, and restaurants). The house has a spa and sauna (for house mates only) and nice gardens front and back for sitting. House mates buy and cook their own food and do their own laundry and cleaning, a washing machine and vacuum cleaner are provided. If your move date is a little before the room available date then we can provide comfortable temporary accommodation at a reduced rate. Definitely no pets and no smoking, and we can't allow visitors to stay over night out of consideration for the privacy and security of the other house mates. No lease, no bond. I'm happy to answer any questions and arrange for an inspection anytime. Cheers Stewart and Suzy.
