Hi! I'm Nic, and I come as a package deal with my 4 yr old rescued Alaskan Malamute, Moose. I am a laid back musician in two bands, currently working casual jobs to save money to pursue this further. I enjoy equestrian activities and anything horse-related, training animals, archery, jousting, guitar and flute (I am considerate of noise levels and can use headphones when needed). I'm friendly and get along with everyone, but clean and keep to myself. Looking for housemates that are chilled out, ideally active and enjoy the outdoors, and of course, will enjoy the company of a big, cuddly dog. Moose is super friendly, loves everybody, and is well mannered, desexed, flea/worm treated, house trained, doesn't bark or chew, but he will howl along with ambulances if he hears them! He's very gentle and tolerant of kids, cats, chickens and other pets but not always with other dogs. He is fine to be partially an outdoor dog in the cooler months, but he is so social and intelligent it would be akin to cruelty to keep him alone outside all the time so he must be allowed to come indoors regularly. He does shed, but I own a very high powered vacuum cleaner to combat this as well as daily grooming. Air conditioning is extremely highly valued in Summer as we both suffer greatly in the heat. Budget and move date is flexible, and I am willing to pay more for the right place. I am very experienced with all animals (particularly horses) and am a good gardener, so I would be very willing to do work on the property for a reduction in rent, if applicable, by pre-determined arrangement. This includes cleaning or child minding. Location is flexible as I have my own transport, but anything in the Brisbane suburbs/outer Brisbane, though Northside is preferred. Semi- rural areas are fine. Moose is not an escape artist or a jumper, but property must be fenced. I can supply some temp fencing if partially fenced. Awesome acreage home on 3 levels next to river. Available are two bedrooms, bathroom, and large open plan loft - which could be perfect flexible space as study area/ office/ studio area etc. Lots of off street parking. A very unique house. Both downstairs ( main living area) bedrooms have separate entries, own seperate bathroom, security screens, and some furniture - a cupboard in one ( which can be moved) and fixed open shelves with hanger rod in the other. Share kitchen and lounge ( I have seperate room with ensuite at other end of house). The home is 3 levels, on two hectares of private bushland, on the South Pine River- 7-8 minutes from Samford village, 5 minutes from great coffee. The house has huge gardens with maintenance included, and a lower outdoor entertaining area. Set between the South Pine river and Mount Glorious. Rooms get good light, though sheltered from the afternoon sun. The house is very energy efficient with good ventilation so no aircon needed. Gas stove, electric oven, large electric heat pump hot water service. The house is on a septic system and tank water (two very large in ground water tanks) Fireplaces! rivers, mountains! (Sorry lease terms were no dogs as no fencing, and smoking is only allowed outside the house). Very secure home, in a unique quiet relaxed setting.

I am great to live with as I keep clean of my surroundings and clean up any mess I have established. I am quiet and considerate of other people’s space and needs. I own 1 small car. I do not smoke and I don’t own any pets. Currently I work in a public primary school working broken shifts starting on mornings at 6am and starting afternoons at 2:30pm, every weekday. I am also a sub-contracted security officer on major event days. What I do for fun is attend Brisbane Roar matches at Suncorp Stadium, go to social outings on the weekends, travel to Melbourne to catch up with family and play video games on my PS4.

This is quite a large four bedroom, two bathroom house, with a separate laundry, two different living areas and study. All rooms comfortably fit a queen size bed. The back yard feels peaceful and private. The house wide internet plan is unlimited. There is lots of parking space as the house is on a corner block. It is only a 20-30 minute walk to the Narangba train station, IGA, butchery, bakery, doctors, 24hr gym, coffee house and local takeaway shops. A ten minute drive to North Lakes and five minutes to highway - both the Boundary Rd and Settlement Drive entrances.
This house is a 10 minute walk to the bus and a comfortable 20 minute walk (2 min drive) to the train station and shops. Backing onto a park, the house is in a fairly quiet, friendly neighbourhood. All of the 3 bedrooms have built in wardrobes with the main bedroom having a small walk-in wardrobe. Pets are considered and there a fully fenced yard.
The room is quite a large room with a built in wardrobe at the opposite end of the house, so you will have plenty of privacy, you will also have your own bathroom. The house is in a good location within minutes of the bruce highway, local shops and public transport. The backyard is a decent size too and we have a pretty nice outdoor space. If you want extra space or more storage, we could possibly arrange renting another room for extra.
This is a fabulous 2 storey house in a great location. Bus stop across the road, short drive to the train, close to Warner Shopping Hub with restaurants, Woolworths, Aldi and speciality stores. Unique place with loads of room and each bedroom gets its own private lounge to yourself. Bedrooms are all main size and upstairs with living down. The upstairs bathroom will be shared by tenants of 2 bedrooms as current tenants have the ensuite. There is also an additional toilet downstairs. Whole house is air-conditioned with ducting upstairs and split systems down. Internet is included. Electricity included up to a max value then excess to be split by all tenants. Alfresco area out the back. The kitchen is large and equipped with a 6 burner gas stove for those who enjoy cooking and a dishwasher. Mowing also included in the rent. Photos I have on hand only showing the communal kitchen/lounge/dining at the back of the house (empty) before the current tenants moved in. The goal for this place is to have a chilled friendly atmosphere for everyone. There is no need to live in each others pockets like some share houses as everyone has separate lounge rooms or you can still all get together in the communal lounge or alfresco.
